Activities visibility im MSA

Hi All,
Earlier we had a problem of "Activities not visible to user in calendar". i found that user was not assigned properly in Org model. After assigning the user to employee in Org model, user can able to see current activities.
My question is "is it possible to see the previous activities as well. please clarify me.
Thanks in advance,
Vijay

Hi,
activities are only visible in the MSA calendar if they are assigned to the current user/employee i.e. if there is an interlinkage table record in smokvbez11 (check foreign keys skavbka and sfamitabt).
You also can search for/view activities which are not assigned to you but then you cannot edit them. Actually there is a work-around by adding yourself as (additional) responsible.
Your scenario depends from the way how you are distributing activities. There are 2 publications:
- Activities (by Employee) -- based on smokvbez11
- Activities (by Customers & Prospects) -- follows BP
You need to check those "missing" activities whether there is a smokvbez11 record, and if yes, to which employee this is referring. What you could do is to update these values by running a small report and do an extract lateron.

Wolfhard

    Hi Robert,
    To brief the problem,
An employee created some activities earlier. The manager of the employee has no visibility of the activities in the transaction SO01. i found user is missing for the employee in org model and assigned the user. Now the current activities are visible to manager.
I can see all the previous activities in the table smokvbez11.
Could you please guide me how to make all these activities visible to the Manager in the transaction SO01. can it be done by extracting the subscriptions Activities (By employee) and Activities (By customers & Prospects).
Please let me know if this still not clear.
    Thanks in advance.

  • EREC Activities visible for candidate

    Hello gurus!
I have this requirement, the client needs that some activities should be visible for the candidate for attach documents to this activity, the thing is they want to have a communication with the candidate throught activities, is there any way to do this?, I was thinking to do this throught questionary activity that could work for information but I need to attach document to this questionarie, I don't know if that is possible either, at the moment I just have this 2 options, or probably modify the role of candidate for modify some activities, does any knows if that is possible? or maybe someone can help me with an alternative solution? please!!
Attach document to the candidate profile is not valid, because the documents required vary according the offer.
    Thanks in advance..

    Hi,
you can have activities on the candidate object. This is used for TRM processes in SAP e-recruiting. You have to assign the activity type to the NA obect and to a process which is assigned to the TRM group. The activity creation can be done in the candidate profile.
Unfortunately there is no way of replying to the activity directly. So the standard solution would be a correspondence activity to request the candidate to log into the startpage and upload the attachment in his profile.
    Rgds.
    Roman
PS: if you try to d this during the offer process you could use the new New Hire interface and a customer HCMPF scenario with offline forms. But this would require quite some design and development effort.

  • Make completed survey in activity available in MSA

    Hello,
we have created a Marketing Campaign in CRM Online which:
    includes a satisfaction survey
sends an e-mail with URL to BPs in a target group
creates an activity for each BP based on an activity template
the bp completes the survey via a bsp page (url was generated from the survey)
all the above items are sent to MSA
However, the survey is not inserted in the generated activities created. Besides we would like that once the survey is completed, the survey is also completed in the activity and sent to the Mobiles. That way our sales representatives have complete information on the marketing campaign.
I could not find information in OSS nor in help.sap.com, nor in the forums. Would you have any hint? Is this a foreseen functionality or not?
Thank you in advance for any information and regards,
    Didier

    Hi
       CRM ONLINE
To use the mobile scenario, you have to map the mobile sales activity types with the CRM business transaction types Business Activity and Task and their categories.
    For eg
       CRM ONLINE                             MOBILE SALES
Business Activity 0001,category EMAIL<>Activity type EMAIL
The activities created in MSA andCRM both contains fields for activity reason, staus and reason for the status.
If you want more information please let me know if you have any more queries..
I hope this gives you an idea..

  • Visibility of follow up activities

    Hi All,
within the webgui of CRM 2007, we can't figure out how to distinguish follow up activities within the account overview.
All activities are visible, but the user can't see or an activity is a follow up activity from an other activity or not. This was possible in the old GUI (transaction CIC0), it was possible to expand an activity and see the follow up activities.
Anybody got an idea how to solve this?
    Kind regards
    Immanuel

    Hi,
To get the followup transactions in WEB UI do the customise setting suggest as below..
    STEP1:
    Path:
Customer Relationship Management>Transactions->Basic Setting>Define Transaction Types.
Select the required transaction types and assign CRM WEB UI at the CHANNEL level to the transactions as per the requirement.
    STEP2:
Maintain Copying Control for Business Transactions what ever you required as a followup transactions.
I think with the STEP 1 you can resolve the issue which you are facing.
Let me know if you are facing any challenge in COPY CONTROLES.

  • BPM 11g - Making comments visible to all interactive activities in process

Does anyone know of a way to make comments from one interactive activity visible in a subsequent interactive activity within the same process?
We need this visibility since there are multiple human tasks in the process and the comments are relevant to the instance as a whole as it travels through the process.
I've attempted to create a process data object of type "TaskExecutionData" and use that to map the comments in and out of the data associations for the interactive activities, but ran into bpel faults. The first attempt just used simple data association mappings for the execData.userComment collection (array) - but that results in assignment errors at runtime if there are no comments present. Having seen these errors before and having resolved them using a XSL transformation, I tried that route as well to map the userComment collection using a for-each construct - however that attempt resulted in a different bpel fault at runtime referring to duplicate definitions of the same type or something to that effect.
    Any ideas?

Yes, but this is in version 11g, not 10g or 6. The human tasks use the ADF task flows, as is standard practice in 11g.
I've attempted mapping the userComment array from the task's execData to process variables, but that effort resulted in bpel faults at runtime.
I managed a roundabout way (i.e. a hack) to get the comments into the new task from the previous one using the human workflow services API in a managed bean of the task flow, but I'm having difficulty getting the comment iterator of the data control to update and pull in the comments.

  • Deleted activities on the CRM server still present on the MSA client

    Hi,
We have an issue with some activities that have been deleted on the CRM server, but still are present on the Mobile Sales clients after Conntrans.
When the activities are deleted on the MSA client the BDOC just gets rejected on the server and the change are never distributed to the other clients.
Have anybody experienced a similar situation?
Does anybody have a hint to what we could do to get rid of them on the clients?

    Hi,
    try to lanch SMOEAC transaction
    Go to create extract
choose one of the site (to make test)
Chose the subscription activities with ACTIVITY_OBJECT inside.
    Complete and start extract.
This will update the entire activities table of this site.

  • Private activities in MSA

    Hi
We are just looking to start using the private flag on activities but the check box on the activity details screen is greyed out
    Does anyone know why?
I assumed that you would just create an activity as usual and check the box to make it private.
Am is misinterpreting the functionality here?
    Thanks
    James

    Hi,
    this you can find in
    -> Tx spro
    -> Customer Relationship Management
    -> Transactions
    -> Basic Settings
    -> Define Transaction Types
    -> select <0000>
    -> select <Assignment of Business Transaction Categories>
    -> select <Business Activity>
    -> select <Customizing header>
-> there you see the checkbox <Private Appointments Allowed>
I also didn't know this so far...
Regarding the protection of those activities within MSA I only can suggest to set the search criteria "employee responsible" which is defaulted with the current user to readonly.

  • Role does not allow visibility on activities

Using CRM 2007 sp4 I have recently created a new business role and have assigned this business role a pfcg authorisations role (based on the original sales manager role).  I was having problems having users assigned to this role being able to create activities.  When they try and create an activity in the calendar area, or through quick create links set up as direct links in the direct link groups or through the activity component no activities types were selectable from.  The setup of the authorisations appears fine as if i give the users sap_all access they can create any of the activity types they want.  In my pfcg role I had been using the authorisation object to control access to spsecific transaction types (object :  CRM_ORD_PR) and eveything seemed to be ok.
The system gives me the following info:
Details No transaction type is available for creating a transaction
Diagnosis: No transaction type is available when creating a transaction. This can be due to the following reasons:
No transaction type is available according to Customizing
The user has no authorization for the transaction type
    System Response
It is not possible to create the transaction.
    Procedure
    Make sure that:
The transaction type is set up in Customizing
The user has authorization for the transaction type
From what i can see this appears to be an authorisation issue but i'm unsure what authorisation objects are required to create activities.
    Any help would be appreciated
    Regards
    Eddie

    Hi Eddie,
based on the fact that you are setting restrictions on transaction type CRM_ORD_PR , it means you are actually modeling your access according to the third level check during the authorization check process flow for business transaction processing.
As such you should have access for following authorization objects:
    CRM_ACT (value 45 = allow)
CRM_ORD_PR (where you restrict the allowed activity AND the allowed transaction types)
CRM_ORD_OE (where you restrict access based on the allowed sales/service organization).
you must at least have all 3 authorization objects avaialble in your PFCG role, and some concrete values should be maintained as explained above.
The problem however 'might' also be due to missing authorization on "UI component level"; based on object UIU_COMP.
As such it 's a good idea to perform tracing.....
    cheers

  • MSA. Activities and Sales Organization

    Hello Forum,
Do you know if there is a related table of SMOVBKA for Sales Organization data for an Activity. I'm having Sales Org Unit determination issues and I've made the test of deleting all Sales Org related data in SMOVBKA with no change in MSA or GUI (after running Conntrans of course), therefore I'm guessing there is another table storing this information. Any clues?
    All help is appreciated!
    Regards,
    Gerardo Van der Molen

    Hi Gerardo
During the integration process of Mobile Sales and CRM Enterprise some questionary decisions were made, one was to keep the SAP ERP orgmodel in MSA and also in parallel have the HR-like orgmodel in CRM server. So this is why MSA only supports VKORG, VTWEG and SPART (and VKBUR / VKGRP) as organisational data.
However, when you delete data on a CDB table like the SMOVBKA, there is no possibility to see the changes anywhere else in the system! The only way is to delete the orgdata via the application or in the server via a BAPI, because otherwise the creation of a BDoc for data exchange does not happen.
Welcome to the wonderful world of SAP Mobile Sales ... there is also a special forum for MSA here.

  • CRM 4.0 PCUI BSP Activities Calendar is not visible!!

    Hi Experts,
We are working for an CRM implementation based on mySAP CRM 4.0 SP10 and
we have a question about the PC-UI BSP Activities Application.
The problem regards the possibiliy to use the calendar in the BSP.
In SAP gui, calling the transaction CRMD_BUS2000126, we can see three
different tabs (Worklist, Search and Calendar).
The BSP application is also know as CRMD_BUS2000126 (we are running the
    application through the transaction CRMC_BSP_ANALYZE).
In the BSP we have all functionalities (create, search, ecc..), but
there is not any reference to the CALENDAR.
Moreover, we see that there is another application CRMD_BUS2000126_CAL
but when we try to execute this application, the application seems look
empty (We see only the Name of the application "Activities With Calendar")
Finally my question is the following:
Does mySAP CRM 4.0 provide the Calendar functionalities for the Activities
    in BSP mode (visualization)??
    Thanks in advance
    Eugenio Cassiano

I am working to implement the CRMD_BUS2000126_CAL in my customer. I have a problem with ACT_CAL event-group.
My question is, do you have some documentation (expert documentation) how to implement the FILL_EVENTGROUP methode on customer site.
Thank you for your help and you can send to me this documentation to my personel email: [email protected]

  • Back end activities for Activation & Deactivation of Aggregates

    Hi ,
Could any body help me to understand the back-end activites performed at the time of activation and deactivation of aggregates.
Is filling of Agreegate is same as Roll up?
What is the diffrence between de-activation and deletion of Aggregate?
    Thanks.
    Santanu

    Hi Bose,
    Activation:
In order to use an aggregate in the first place, it must be defined activated and filled. When you activate it, the required tables are created in the database from theaggregate definition. Technically speaking, an aggregate is actually a separate BasicCube with its own fact table and dimension tables. Dimension tables that agree with the InfoCube are used together. Upon creation, every aggregate is given a six-digit number that starts with the figure1. The table names that make up the logical object that is the aggregate are then derived in a similar manner, as are the table names of an InfoCube. For example, if the aggregate has the technical name 100001, the fact tables are called: /BIC/E100001 and /BIC/F100001. Its dimensions, which are not the same as those in the InfoCube, have the table names /BIC/D100001P, /BIC/D100001T and so on.
    Rollup:
New data packets / requests that are loaded into the InfoCube cannot be used at first for reporting if there are aggregates that are already filled. The new packets must first be written to the aggregates by a so-called “roll-up”. In other words, data that has been recently loaded into an InfoCube is not visible for reporting, from the InfoCube or aggregates, until an aggregate roll-up takes place. During this process you can continue to report using the data that existed prior to the recent data load. The new data is only displayed by queries that are executed after a successful roll-up.

  • Hide fields for activities when they are opened via Activity Monitor

    Hi,
In CRM 5.0, my requirement was to hide a number of fields from activity display via transaction CRMD_ORDER & CIC0 (SAPGUI based transactions). I achieved it by using screen variant. I assigned my screen variant to different transactions (CRMD_ORDER, CIC0 etc.), and things were working fine.
But when I open activity monitoring report (transaction S_AE2_89000019), search for some activities and open an activity by double-clicking in the report, the hidden fields become visible. Although, the transaction being displayed in CRMD_ORDER.
I couldn't enable my transaction variant for transaction S_AE2_89000019, obviously because this is a report transaction which in turn opens activity when we double-click on the grid.
Any idea how to avoid these hidden fields being displayed via S_AE2_89000019?
    Regards,
    Kaushal

    Hey Kaushal,
Let me first inform you the following:
    1) Transaction Variant are associatated to Dialog transactions only......Which means when u call report which eventually refers the same transaction even then the transaction variants is not called....
For the whole transaction variant to workout, you need CALL transaction "  ..."....
    2) The transaction S_AE2_89000019 is not a dialog transaction, its a parameter transaction which eventually calls a report AQZZ/SAPQUERY/SMCRM_REP_ACT1==
3)This report in turn uses the call to FM CRM_1O_CALL_FOREIGN which launches that crmd_order transaction screen  and not crmd_order transaction..
You can enchance that report by creating a z report and inside that z report you can fulfill your requirement..
    Inspire ppl by reqwarding..
    Regards,
    Anand...

  • Limit Values in Open/closed Activities of BP Page

    Hi,
On the BP overview page we have views displayed for 'Open Activities' and 'Closed Activiities'. By default they would display all open/closed activities. After a while this can become a lot (and slow, and not very useful).
So, there is a view (CRMV_ACC_1O_CUST) where we can customise the time frame of activities that we wish to see. Our problem is that none of the time frames there are useful to us.
We can choose, 'This Year', which is useless in January or we can choose, "Last Year', which is useless in general. What we can't choose is, 'From last year until today'. That would, of course, be entirely useful.
The entries in the customising table take the form Y-1, Y A, Y1 etc and these formulae are translated at run time to an actual date range. This is hard coded in a CASE statement in FORM build_the_query of Include LCRM_BSP_OIC_1O_SEARCHF01 so changes can only be done as a repair.
The way the standard works is that Y+-1, if run on date 20120126, will return the date range 20110101 - 20111231. This means that we won't see any open activities from January. Y A, which means current year will return the from date as 20120101, which means that we won't see open activities from December.
I read about the BAdI CRM_BP_UIU_BT, which would allow us to inject our own selection parameters; but I can't seem to work out which parameter names should be used for activity start/end dates. Pushing 'STARTDATE', 'FROM' etc result in an empty activities table being displayed.
What I would like, of course, is that Y+-1 would return 20110101 - 20120126 when executed on 20120126. Or to create a new entry such as Y*1 which would mean one year either side of the given date. I can make a repair to the standard code, but I'd rather not have to perform a repair to write my own logic for dates range.
Any other ideas? I assume we're not the only people using the 'Open Activities' view; how did the rest of you handle January?
    Thanks for your time,
    P.

    Hi,
    We got an answer from OSS;
For your business requirement, in order to set up a time frame option
like 'last 12 months', you need to extend the customizing table:
"CRMT_ACC_1O_CUST". You can define your own time frame as below.
I will provide a sample for it:
    ***********************Creating Time Frames***************************
    1. Go to Tx: SE16.
    2. Enter the table TSCTFGROUP.
    3. Create new records here with the following details:
(Please ensure that you enter a sort order that doesn't already exist)
APPL NAME TIMEENTITY LENGTH DEF FLAG SORT ORDER
    CRM_1O_LOC M+ - 12 <blank> 14
    4. Go to Tx:SE16.
    5. Enter the table TSCTFGRT.
    6. Create new records here with the following details:
(This table is to create the text. Please ensure that you create here
as many records as you have created in the above step 3)
    LANGU APPL_NAME TIMEENTITY LENGTH TF_TEXT
    EN CRM_1O_LOC M+ -12 last 12 months
    7. If needed, enter the same records in other required languages also.
After this, time frame 'last 12 months' will be visible in the selection list. Now You can select this time frame in the SPRO customizing for certain business transactions. But above changes are not standard changes If you upgrade CRM landscape to higher versions/packages, you will have to transport these changes manually.
That was the answer, we've done as was suggested and things are fine now.
You can have a programmer look at
    Include: LSSC_RULESF03
    Form:  compute_dates_f
To see how the formulae are translated at runtime.
For instance, you'll see that you can create an entry such as D365, which means 365 days before until 365 days after today. However, in the code there is no way for M or Y* to be translated; a programmer can explain that to you if required.
I hope that this helps someone at some point,
    Patrick.
