AD Connector Error on Weblogic Cluster

hia all,
I have clustered deployment of oim 11g(11.1.1.5) in four node weblogic cluster 10.3.5
While installing ADConnector 9.1.1.7.0 (copied on all 4 nodes at same location) we got following error
DOBJ.EVT_INTERNAL_ERROR
Adapter Compilation Failure Bulk Exception
and in description it says (for the third task)
X Compilation of Adapter Definitions >(Failed)
Is there any way to have it fixed? do we need to set the XL.compilerPath uptill the the \bin of the jrockit? (it is not getting unset / blank once its set, compulsory value). I have also set the limits.config settings in linux to max, since I get "Too many files open" error in the OIM diagnostic log. following is the log

any comments?

Ok ... i have resolved the issue, the problem was traced back to the change of access permissions in the Linux. the weblogic "nodemanager" was being started as root user this was changing the permissions on the folders and files in the /home/oracle. so I changed the startup of nodemanager from root to oracle and with some other changes the objective was achieved..... :)

  • ADF Application error when deploy on WebLogic Cluster

    Hello,
I setup a WebLogic 10.3.5 Cluster, but I have problems to deploy my ADF application (ADF 11.1.2).
    I am getting the following java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: oracle/adf/share/logging/ADFLogger
The problem does not occur if I deploy the same application only to the AdminServer.
In order to setup my WebLogic Cluster I followed the process described by Mark Nelson at http://redstack.wordpress.com/2010/12/20/using-weblogic-as-a-load-balancer/
    Any idea?
    Thanks,
    Cristo A.

Have you installed the Oracle JRF template to the managed servers?
The error indicates that you didn't install the adf runtime (JRF template) for your jdev version onto the managed servers.

  • Continous HTTP access error logged when using Weblogic Cluster

I am not sure if this is the right forum for this discussion, but here we go anyways.
We have created a Weblogic Cluster with one Administration Server and up to 12 Managed Servers. Our Weblogic version is 9.2.
SSL has been enabled for all Servers and the HTTP Listen Ports are all turned off. The cluster and all applications are working fine and communicating over HTTP as expected, however the logs grow 3MB+ per hour due to an error that repeatedly logged. This error appears to be an attempt by an internal Weblogic process to access some resource over HTTP.
Here are the various messages received in the logs. There are 3 messages logged per error occurred.
This first log message is from the domain log (I replaced the hostname/IP info with <PEER>):
    ####<Aug 11, 2008 12:08:46 PM GMT+00:00> <Warning> <Security> <PEER> <ManagedServer7> <[ACTIVE] ExecuteThread: '0' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'> <<WLS Kernel>> <> <> <1218456526962> <BEA-090475> <Plaintext data for protocol HTTP was received from peer <PEER> instead of an SSL handshake.>

    Hi,
We had this problem with WebLogic Platform 9.2 MP2, running on Solaris. The patch CR344429 worked fine. The corresponding patch for 9.2 MP3 is CR370091. You can get these patches through Oracle Support.
    A couple of points:
    1. We did not have to set StartScriptEnabled=true for the patch to work. We use the SSL Niode manager.
    2. Using the t3: protocol (-Dweblogic.management.server=t3://<admin server listen address>:<admin server listen port) does stop these exceptions, but causes these warning messages to appear in the administration server log file:
    <Warning> <[STANDBY] ExecuteThread: '5' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'> <<WLS Kernel>> <> <> <...> <BEA-002637> <Failed to register a disconnect listener because of weblogic.rmi.extensions.DisconnectMonitorUnavailableException: Could not register a DisconnectListener for [weblogic.rmi.internal.BasicRemoteRef ......>
    Hope these comments help.

  • Error when deploy to weblogic cluster

My cluster has 2 servers A, B. when I deploy an WebCenter Custom Portal application to weblogic cluster, application on server A work well and application on server B is failed. Log on failed server is “what do i do: seems an odd quirk of the EJB spec. The exception is:java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Oracle/jdeveloper/db/adapter/DatabaseProvider”
When I reconfig cluster and then deploy, application on server B work well but application on server A is failed.
Please advise what should I do in this situation?

    Hi,
It seems your Application is running with non-seralizable objects where non-searlizable are not supported on cluster environment.
Please check server logs whether you have such warning messages are not.
Let me know if you need any further help on this issue.

  • Apache Proxy Plugin with SSL in Weblogic Cluster

    Hi,
I have configured a weblogic cluster and configured SSL. Then I configured the apache plugin to work with the cluster machines with non ssl and worked succesfull but when I configured the ssl communication between apache and weblogic I´m having problems.
    The actual configuration is:
    <Location /spmlws>
    SetHandler weblogic-handler
    WLLogFile /var/log/httpd/tmpweblogic1.log
    DebugConfigInfo ON
    Debug ALL
    KeepAliveEnabled ON
    KeepAliveSecs 15
    WebLogicPort 7002
    SecureProxy ON
    TrustedCAFile /opt/freeware/etc/httpd/conf/trustedCA35cert.pem
    TrustedCAFile /opt/freeware/etc/httpd/conf/trustedCA36cert.pem
    WLProxySSL ON
    RequireSSLHostMatch false
    WebLogicCluster machine35:7002,machine36:7002
    EnforceBasicConstraints false
    </Location>
The problem is that the plugin always takes the last TrustedCAFile. In this way if machine36 is down the plugin tries to send all the request to machine35 but it takes the TrustedCAFile for the machine36 (/opt/freeware/etc/httpd/conf/trustedCA36cert.pem) hence the apache complains
    [Wed Jun 30 11:13:56 2010] [error] [client 10.19.232.249] ap_proxy: trying GET /spmlws/OIMProvisioning at backend host '10.19.232.97/7002; got exception 'WRITE_ERROR_TO_SERVER [os error=0,  line 796 of ../nsapi/URL.cpp]: '
What can I do to have multiple TrustedCAFile or to have working the communication between apache and weblogic cluster using SSL?
    thanks in advance

Acording to the documentation this is not possible.
One way to achieve the load balancing of n-weblogic servers in cluster using ssl is to configure de HttpClusterServlet.

  • StreamCorruptedException when starting Weblogic cluster

Hi, I have an application running on Weblogic Server 8.1 sp4 in clustered environment. When the cluster is restarted the first server restarts without errors but the second one has the following error message. What does the error message mean? Make sure that the JMS server isn't attempting to load a store that was created from a later version of WLS. Also, make sure that no two JMS servers share the same database table - otherwise they will corrupt each-other's data. I think the latter is likely the problem.

    =============================
Anyone encountered this before in the clustered setup ?
    Thanks,

    Hello,
But if you see the trace, it is coming from the OOTB library. Isn't it ? It doesn't indicate if there is any issue in any custom beans.
java.io.NotSerializableException: com.thortech.xl.webclient.workflowutil.ImageGenerator$FieldMoreover, i see this error in the log with case 2: ("configure" data flow). However, it is working and the the UI is showing me the data flow with this error in the log.
My major concern is case 1: ("edit" workflow) which is not showing me anything on the UI ?
Ideally, it should trigger Nexaweb client to populate the workflows in the UI.
    *1 interesting observation:*
If i go to "Design console" -> process definition -> "Render workflow",
then it opens the workflow in the default explorer and the url which is opened in the browser is same as the previous case. It is working here as expected. Does this means the problem is with Nexaweb client load in the UI in case 1. How to fix this ?
    Please suggest.
    Thanks,

  • FrontEnd hosts in weblogic cluster

    Hello,
I have set the frontEnd hosts in weblogic cluster(10.3.5) to the loadbalancer URL(https://xyz.com) . Webservice developed in 11g is deployed to the cluster. The dynamic wsdl generated contains the the Address of the frontEnd in <address> Tag of the WSDL file.
But when i try to test the service by clicking on 'test client' on the deployment page. It gives me following error
failed due to This service requires https, but the attempt to access Test Client at https address https://<ip address where weblogic managed server is running>:443/wls_utc/begin.do did not suceed due to java.net.ConnectException: Tried all:1 addresses, but could not connect over HTTPS to server:<ip address where weblogic managed server is running> port:443. In order to test  a service that requires https the Test Client must be running on a server configured for https.
Can we configure the front end hosts point to https and still test the test client using the deployment page.?
    Thanks,
    Ram

    Hi Kal,
I did try to enable SSL listen port. Though i am able to access WSDL but the Test Client is still giving the same exception.
    regards,
    Ram

    Too bad :(
The you'll start by verifying that each managed server runs the same ADF Runtime version. If this is OK, you'll need to check if the session replication of the clustered servers is working. After that you'll ... well lets hope once it's set up correct it'll work.

  • JRun Connector Errors

We've migrated from ColdFusion MX 6.1 to 8 recently and we're
seeing an alarming number of error messages like these:
    Server Error
The server encountered an internal error and was unable to
    complete your request.
    JRun Connector Protocol Error.
    We're running:
    Cold Fusion 8,0,1,195765 64-Bit
    Solaris 10
    Apache 2.2.10
    JRun Connector mod_jrun22.so
JDK 1.5.0_16 (we downgraded the JVM as a potential fix)
Oracle JDBC drivers 11.1.0.6.0 for JDK 5 (we need Oracle 11g
    database support)
We've spent several days investigating this now. The only
    patterns seem to be that:
-happens a little bit more after a server restart
-can return the error very quickly on random pages
-but can also return the error on pages that are running big
queries and take a long time to run
-very inconsistent, we can call the same page multiple times
at once - some requests fail, others succeed
-we are also seeing a lot of java.io.EOFException errors in
our cfserver.log with stack traces of some kind
-the logs don't point in any parcticular direction, nor do
the JRun Connector errors seem to coincide with any logs entries
What we've tried to do to fix this:
-Tried the built-in Adobe Oracle database drivers
-Tried the JDK 5 version of the Oracle 11.1.0.6.0 database
    drivers
-Downgraded the JVM used by Cold Fusion 8 to JDK 5.
-Adjusted the data source connection pools timeouts; turned
off Maintain Connections altogether just to see if it made a
    difference
    -Adjusted template caching settings
-Tweaked the 3 or 4 JRun Connector timeout settings in
Apache. Also turned on verbose mode on the JRun Connector to see if
that revealed anything. Saw a few suspicious entries, such as:
    jrApache[init] 127.0.0.1:51800 destroying/closing socket [35]
    error 0
    jrApache[init] jrCloseSocket [35]
But these did not parallel all of the JRun connector errors
    we've been seeing.
-Tried connecting to only one database node at a time (we
    have an Oracle cluster)
    -Verified our JDBC connection string
-Tried reproducing this error under previous Cold Fusion 6.1
production servers and in development environment, but didn't have
    any luck
-Even tried cleaning up the linebreak characters in some of
our code after vi complained about "premature end of file" or
"premature end of line" - no luck.
We're pulling our hair out at this point. The only other
thing we've suspected is a firewall or loadbalancer issue causing
    us to lose connections. HELP!!!!

    Hello,
we also have got the same error and also very sporadic.
    We're running:
    Cold Fusion 8,0,1 32-Bit
    Window 2003 Server
    Apache 2.0.63
    JRun Connector mod_jrun20.so
    JDK 1.6.0_04
    ms sqlserver 2005
    on VMWare
The error occures on different installations and different
    machines. allways on vmware.
when it happens nothing helps any more.
    - restarting apache - no effect
    - restarting jrun - no effect
    - restarting both - no effect
    - killing all apache and jrun processes and restart - no
    effect
and the system does not recover by itself.
    only restarting the vmware helps...
sometimes even the jdbc connection to our mssqlserver 2005
    ist not available anymore.
    message: socket write error.
seems to be something very deep in the system, but we could
    not figure out what.
    we got the same
    "destroying/closing socket"
error in our apache log files.
seems to happen more often if cpu is on load, or if more
threads are running but we are not able to reproduce it at all...
    help please!

  • Serialization error in Weblogic

    Hi,
We are having a strange problem with serialization and Weblogic cluster.
Some of our JSPs display this error in the log:
<Error> <Cluster> <All session objects should be serializable to replicate. Please check the objects in your session. Failed to replicate non serializable object>
The BEA documentation says that this is because all user-defined objects in the session have to be serializable so that they can be replicated across nodes in the cluster.
Now, we figured that this meant we had some user-defined objects that weren't serialized, and so we added some code to the offending JSPs to:
    (a) Get all the objects from the session.
    (b) Test them using instance of java.io.Serializable.
    (c) Print out all those that weren't serialized.
We caught a few classes with this and fixed them. Now, the number of locations that cause this error have come down to 4. However, these 4 are proving really hard to crack!
As per our diagnostic output, everything in the session is serializable, yet Weblogic insists that something isn't serializable. The BEA documentation isn't much help; it basically recommends we add the "implements java.io.Serializable" to every file in sight.
Has anyone come up against this kind of problem before with Weblogic? Or are we missing something fundamental in serialization itself here?
    Thanks in advance.
    Ta ta,
    Jagan.

Has anyone come up against this kind of problem before
with Weblogic? Or are we missing something fundamental
    in serialization itself here?Hi Jagan,
I've had similar problems, but only with much older Weblogic versions.
What I did to find out the problem was to manually take the session object and serialize it. Then, the error output is more specific -- it tells you the exact object type that is the offender. That's better than WL's vague error messages.
It turned out that a) we had objects that were serializable, but had references to non-serializable classes (remember that the entire graph is serialized, not just the object(s) bound to the session) and b) a third-party class was serializable, but it maintained a reference to a non-serializable class from time to time.
The latter problem was a pain to diagnose.
    Hope it helps,
    Garrett Smith
