Ad hoc query - Infoset, after selection it is giving two different output

Hi All,
We are facing problem in ad hoc query, after PQAH Ad hoc query, when we go to one infoset, so after making some selection and putting some output field,
When we click on refresh data button(in lower pane) so it gives only one record, which is incorrect, but when we click on u2018Start Outputu2019 button it gives 3 records those are correct.
Can anyone tell me, why this is giving different output.(first time 1 record, and second time 3 records) record 3 output is correct.

Hi Kumar,
Are you looking at the "Hit List" or the output of the results in the lower pane? The hit list will only give you the number of persons who will be in your output. The refresh button should give you a preview of the output.
What persons or fields are different or not shown in the preview area vs. the output? Also, what are the dates for the data? Are you looking at current data or looking for history? The output may be showing you history and the preview only current data. Most concerns with Ad Hoc Query output are related to dates - for the selection and the output.

In most cases, you can't use a Debit card anymore. So, either redeem an iTunes gift card or use a credit card.

How to Modify the Ad-hoc Query Infoset of Standard Area.

Am having problem with Ad-hoc Query.
i need to modify ZHR_PA_01 Infoset, this is an infoset available in Satandard Area.
For displaying the Infoset, am Unsing T-code : S_PH0_48000510
As of my knowledge Using T-Code SQ01& SQ02.... we can create , Change, delete the Infosets of Global Area.
But
please any body can tel me,How to Change the Infoset of Standard Area
How to add the New Field Group to this Standard area infoset.

yes, i have added the new Infotype 9105 to data fields.
1.but this infotype in Data fields is showing as P8003.
could you tel me why this is showing like this.?
2.i have a field "Priority" in the existing "Critical Role" Field Group.
n My requirement is
"Add the Priority Field text description as an additional output field. the Numeric value stored in the Proirity field can be lookied up in the YHRPRIOX table,Object Type ZR."
3.After adding fields to newly created Field Group, is there any think to do the Coding or Changes.
4.After adding i have saved it & Generated the Infoset, i got few warnings.

Modifying the Ad-hoc Query Infoset : problem with P9105 fields.

Am having problem with Infoset of Ad-hoc Query .
i need to add the Critical role Field Group to ZHR_PA_01 Infoset of Satandard Area.
for this i have imported that Infotype 9105 and included the following standard fields by drag and drop.
                1. Role Category
                2. Role SubCategory
                3. Global Identifier
                4. Personnel Number
and then Saved and Generated the infoset succesfully.(No syntax errors)
But
While testing, using the T-Code: S_PH0_48000510
if i select one of these above fields for the report,
Am getting the message that "Error when generating the report".
Error Description:The report cannot be generated because the internal description is invalid or incomplete.
means what may be the problem.?
if i select other fields its working fine.
can any body explain me clearly..??

yes, i have saved the T-code.and generated the Infoset Succesfully.
and its showing the those additional fields while testing.
for remaining fields its working fine.
but am not getting wats problem with the four fields of P9105 infotype.

Data Error in the Query/Report after selective data deletion for infocube

Hi Experts,
Please advise what i was missing and what went wrong...
I got a Query (Forecast) on a Multicube...which is based on 2 Infocubes with Aggregates...
As i identified some data discrepency..yesteraday i performed selective data deleation on one of the Infocube
and executed report yesteraday and the results in the query are correct...
When today i executed the same report i am getting different results..
When i compared the results of the report with that of data in cube they are not matching
The report is not displaying the data in cube..for some rows it is displaying the data in the cube but for some rows it is just displaying same as the above row
there is no data loaded into info cube after selective deleation
Do i need to perform request compression and fill the aggregated after selective deleation
Please advise what went wrong

No i haven't done anything on aggregates before or after selective delete
As there is not data load after the selective delete according to SAP Manual we don't need to perform any thing on aggregates...as selective data deletion on cube will delete data from aggregates as well
Please update how to identify error

Ad hoc query without personnel no

In Ad hoc query t.code S_PH0_48000510 ,infoset(/SAPQUERY/HR_ADM) when I select personnel no & issue output, system is displaying personnel name instead of personnel no. Is there any changes need to be done or is it a system bug ECC6.

Defining ad hoc query you can select personnel number as output field by right clicking on "Personnel number" in "Key fields" group. In the context menu you can find "Output" and three possibilities:
1. Only text - which is default and means an employee's name,
2. Only value - which means personnel number,
3. Value and text - in this case two columns are displayed: personnel number and the employee's name.

Validation of EEO code using ad hoc query

Hi,
I just want to ask for a help or any ideas with regards to the case below.
The EEO job categories have been revised and I've already map the existing job codes to the correct EEO job category in table T5U13. But when I try to run a query for a specific job to check and verify if the mapping of the new EEO job category to the existing job code is correct, the EEO code field is left blank. Meaning that there is no EEO job category attached to the job code. But I've maintain the mapping already and when I double check table T5U13, the job code is map to the new EEO job category. I just want to ask for help that if I run the query, the EEO code field would have an entry based on the mapping I've done.

I have got a query in AD-HOC query.
After creating the Adhoc query using the join table functionality the resulting adhoc query does not results any out put.
What I have done is :
1.Created a user group through SQ03
2.Attched user to My user group
3.Created an infoset using join table functionality(SQ02).
4.Saved and generated the infoset
5.Added the user group to the infoset and than run the ADHOC query.
The table I have used to join is all PA table (For test pupose)
Though the purpose of the custom infoset is to join PA,OM and E rec infotypes, for testing purpose I have joined only PA infotypes.
Result:The adhoc query does not gives any out put instead it says no data could be read.
Could you please tell what else I need to do so that the custom infosets gives an out put.
Will greatly appreciate your help.

Transaction Code to AD Hoc Query

I have created an Ad Hoc Query and Given it a name and saved it.
Next Time when I wanted to execute that query I go to S_PH0_48000510 - Ad Hoc Query , select that query and press on Output to get the result. In between I have selected the setting "Start via selection screen" in Extras>Settings.
Hence I get into the selection screen and while I execute, I go to the output result.
What I am looking for is how to assign a transaction code to this query that I have created, so that I execute that transaction code I am directly into the selection screen. By means of this I can skip some of the steps like going to S_PH0_48000510 - Ad Hoc Query and then selecting the query and then the other steps.

Both the ad-hoc and the SQ01 queries create a program that can be assigned to a transaction. However, the program name that is generated contains a 2 digit code that is specific to the client you are working on. This makes it hard to run the same transaction in DEV, QAS, and PRD. Instead, create a parameter transaction that runs the START_REPORT transaction with parameters set that run the D_SREPOVARI-REPORTTYPE=AQ, D_SREPOVARI-EXTDREPORT=<sap query name in SQ01>, D_SREPOVARI-REPORT=<user groups belonging to the query>

AD HOC query (coding)

I have Ad hoc query and in the selection screen I have field(select option) for language , what I am trying to do is to make a login language as default value for language field ,I tried throw SQ01 the only thing I could do is to add fixed value (for example 'EN') but need it to be login language.

Ad-hoc query's program lost in SAP 4.7 upgraded box.

Hello,
Does anybody know what happen to the ad-hoc query programs
after upgrading the box of SAP 4.6c to the SAP 4.7 ?
What happen is that I had a transaction that would exec the program created based on an ad-hoc query and now, after the box was upgraded to 4.7 the program doesn't exist.
Can anybody give me an answer, please?

Hi Oli,
Depending on how AD-HOC it was created.
- If created within DEVELOPMENT CLASS $TMP, sorry mate, but this cannot be upgraded with the system.
- If ad-hoc created as personalized to one user, sorry mate, no automated upgrade possible.
Other causes might be, that your query uses data objects that no longer are available on the system (likely customer developed structures).
Hope this gives you some hints.

I am unable to see text in boxes on web pages after selecting from a drop down menu. eg country, however typed answers are visible

In the box below which asks the question "This happened" I selected 'every time Firefox opened" and no text appeared in the text box. After selecting a few times on different answers they started to work except for answer three which I have selected now but the box appears clear, that is, no text is visible on my screen.

I should also note something that I did that I think may be causing the default wiki and blog theme to not appear. In Server Admin, selecting Web, then going to Settings and on the Web Services tab, I changed the Data Store path to:
/Library/WebServer/Documents
I did this thinking it would create the html pages in the directory that the placeholder page was indicating that I should put my web page, but I think that is wrong, now. Does anyone know the default path for the data store?
