Add AddressBook to a view

I have what I thought would be a simple task.
I have a sample project that will let a user click a button to pull up the AddressBook user interface within a view. From what I see most of the work is done here:
-(IBAction) checkOutBook: (id)sender
ABPeoplePickerNavigationController *peoplePicker=[[ABPeoplePickerNavigationController alloc] init];
[peoplePicker setPeoplePickerDelegate:self];
[self.navigationController presentModalViewController: peoplePicker animated:YES];
[peoplePicker release];
And there is a button on a view has TouchUp Inside linked to this action. Now, instead of clicking a button, I want a view to just have the AddressBook already loaded. I tried putting the code above (everything between the {} ) in the ViewController's didLoad event. Nope, that didn't work. I have the AB framworks imported. I don't get any errors, it's just the view loads with nothing in it.
What am I missing?

DJ1970, Unfortunately no. iTunes does not have the key in the database.
People who want to know the key of a song can use (unless they already have perfect pitch!) key detection software such as Mixmeister.
Once you know the key, iTunes does not even have a field to store it, although you could stick it into Comments or some other unused text field such as Grouping. These fields are indeed viewable in iTunes.

hello pradeep,
for adding icons in the tree, u willhave to look closely to the
data format for the tree.in the data format used for populating
the tree we are supplying 5 fields. the state of the tree node
(expanded or collapsed), the depth of the node w.r.t the parent
node, the node value, the node label(what we see on the tree)
and the node icon which we want to use. for the node icon we
have to provide the entire path of the icon file. that's it.

Trying to add website in compatibility view in IE 11 with powershell

Good morning everybody,
In our organization, we decided to do every script and maintenance job using powershell. I am trying to do a script to add websites to the compatibility view list in IE11 to worksaround a problem with microsoft update. In IE10, I was able to do it no problem
by creating a GPO in powershell and changing the value in the registry. However, this seems to have changed in IE11 .
Can anyone point me in the right way to do this in powershell. I didn't have much luck so far and I'm going in circles.

How do you add scrolling to a view in TabbedViewNavigatorApplication?

This is a mobile app for iOS.
This particular view includes a series of questions. Answers are posted at the top, with new questions appearing below, meaning that the page gets longer and eventually extends somewhat below the bottom on landscape view.
Thanks to another post, I was able to work out that mx.core.FlexGlobals.topLevelApplication.aspectRatio reliably returns either "landscape" or "portrait." The other width and height variables do not seem to be reliable.
Listening to the ViewNavigatorEvent.REMOVING event reliably allows me to re-orient components, using Actionscript, as the user changes the orientation.
The final part of the solution is to add scrollbars on the landscape view, so that things in that orientation don't become inaccessible.
So the question is: How does one add scrolling to a View in TabbedViewNavigatorApplication, in a way that allows the user to re-orient the device as desired?
I know I'm supposed to wrap the scroller around the component. I've tried this in multiple ways, and haven't stumbled on the right method (Im more familiar with Flex 3 than with Flex 4). I haven't seen a solution posted anywhere, though I have read Adobe documentation stating that it is possible. I've read the posts in this forum back to the release of Flex 4.5.1 and haven't seen a solution. Copy and paste code, including import statements, would sure be appreciated.

I've seen this requested in several past Lightroom versions.
Is Adobe not addressing this basic feature for a reason?, I mean, even Aperture has this feature, it can't be that hard to add? Can it?
Maybe Adobe isn't reading the feature request?

Honestly, I am hardly qualified to even guess - there are tons of bugs reported that would be easy to fix, but aren't, features that would be useful and easy enough to implement, but aren't. Things like focus points which seem like a no brainer but are never implemented - your guess is as good as mine..
But to be clear: focus points are different for different cameras, and are stored in proprietary metadata. - not impossible to get at, obviously, but requires some programming/maintenance..
Worth noting: Apple is shutting down their Aperture business. Yeah, they support focus points and all kinds of good stuff, but I guess Aperture isn't a real money-maker for them (lotsa maintenance work, but not a lot of revenue) - relatively small market.
Adobe has been working on Revel, and Lightroom Mobile.., instead of focus points (and bug fixes, and...) - my guess: that's where the money is, or where they think it is.

Can't double click and add event in month view. HELP!

For some strange reason, I can't double click to addevent on Ical Monthly view all of a sudden. Whenever I double click, nothing happens. Same thing happens on the year view.
I can only add event now using the stupid + signs, or go into daily or weekly view. HELP!

I have this problem too. Just started today all of a sudden. When I am in iCal on my Macbook, I double click - like I have been doing since ical was invented - and nothing happens, other than a quick "updating" message. I tried clicking the "+" button but all it gives me is "quick event" to add but nothing ever shows up in my iCal calendar on my mac. When I log into to iCal in the Cloud - lo and behold! - I see dozens and dozens of "new event" entries all over my calendar! What is going on and how can this be corrected? At this point my computer's ICal program is basically now useless since I am prevented from adding anything to it.

Add data to table view from input fields in a page

        I am developing a BSP page which will be called from SRM shop transaction. After user enters the line item data, data will be passed back to shop transaction using OCI interface and the page attributes (URL).
   (1) How can I add data from input fields to table view on a page on a button click? I am able to add first line but I could not retain first line data when I try to add the second line.
      I am able to add multiple lines to table view if I use view and controller by adding to the line data to static attribute of the controller. I cant use the controller and view because I can not set the attribute to Controller automatically.
   (2) Is there a way to pass an attribute (URL) to controller from SPRO? Like we pass an attribute to page automatically (Automatic page attribute).
   (3) How can I call a controller and view and pass the page attribute to the controller on a button click from a page with out controller?

Add fields to maintenance view and update then using events

Hi experts:
I've created a table with 4 fields, one of them is userid. Also, there is a maintenance view to add new entries.
I want to display user name when typing userid using events (1 or 21). I know how to do it if username is one of the fields of the table, but there is a requirement to not store username in the table, just userid.
My question is: is possible to add a field into the maintenance view and update it using events but not store the value in DB?.

Webelements : does not support when i add the data sourcce& view in HTML

i am using sap crystal reports 2008 and when i add the data source and add tables to the report and i use web elements functions as my selection screen then it does not show i mean the script remains as it is and when i take out my data source
then it works when i view it in HTML VIEWR.
how can i make it to work despite me using the data soruce.

hi Pasala,
this is due to the sap integration kit which does not support pass-through html. webelements require pass-through html in order to show up as html.
here's what you can try though:
1) install the latest sap integration kit on your boe system machine(s)
2) if the above does not solve the issue follow the steps at the bottom of [this thread|WebElements: HTML not rendering when using Bex Query as Source]
3) if 2 above doesn't work then see [this thread |Re: WebElements only show HTML tags (even after following WebElement guides)]as a last resort
hopefully step 1 & step 2 will solve the issue.

I have a situation where i have to show data from one table in three adf tables on jsf page depending on a flag value in a column in table. For this purpose i have done the following steps
a) Created an entity object on the database table .
b) Created three view objects on this entity object and edited the view object's SQL and included the where clause
                   WHERE A.USER_PERSONAL_NO = :P_USER_PERSONAL_NO AND
                       A.AUTH_TYPE = 'LF'
                   The auth_type cloumn decided in which view object the data will be shown
Now, when i query the data from database by executing the query of these view objects the data is shown correctly in all three view objects. Till here there seems every thing ok
Now , i have to provide the logic to add records in the adf tables for this i have provided add button in action facet of all three tables which are binded to methods in managed bean,
when i add a record in a adf table by add button the new row which is created is shown in all three tables . I cant understand why this is happening , please help me to solve this problem.
How can i make it possible so that the record appears only in that adf table in which the record is added.

Unfortunately Microsoft decided to make things complicated in 2010. Resource.Assignment.Text1 is not the same as Task.Assignment.Text1.
As far as I know, VBA is the only solution. I would run the code in the before_save event.
