Add Credentials via JDeveloper

Hi,
How can i add simple Credentials to the CredentialStore (using cwallet.sso) in JDeveloper (version 11.1.1.5)?
I believe that if i add a Connection in ApplicationResources, it'll get stored in the solution's cwallet.sso. Nevertheless, i don't see the entry for adding simple credentials like name and password (instead of defining the target system information). Can it only be accomplished using Fusion Middleware console or WLST command line with createCred or updateCred (i'm using 11g)? If so, it'll only update the Weblogic's cwallet.sso and not the solution's cwallet.sso.
Suppose that credentials get to the solution's local cwallet.sso. When i deploy it to the integrated weblogic (with no OEM available) - using JDeveloper's deploy, is this information merged with the Weblogic's cwallet.sso (in "“%ORACLE_MIDDLEWARE%\jdevhome\system11.1.1.5.37.60.13\DefaultDomain\config\fmwconfig\")?

Problems deploying app to WebSphere in EAR, fine via JDeveloper

JDeveloper 11.1.1.4.0, WebSphere 7.0.0.17, Windows 2008 server
We have developed some applications that use ADF and are trying to port them to WebSphere. We've done the adding of ADF to WebSphere, and set up WebSphere application connectors in JDeveloper.
When we build our apps in JDeveloper, then deploy to WebSphere directly, they run in WebSphere.
When we take the same applications and deploy them to an EAR file, then install the EAR file in WebSphere, they're not running.
The applications run fine both ways when deployed to WebLogic 10.3.5.
After the EAR deployment when running our application in WebSphere we get
Error 500: javax.servlet.ServletException: Filter [ADFLibraryFilter]: Could not find required filter class - oracle.adf.library.webapp.LibraryFilter.class
I found that that class is in adflibfilter.jar, I manually add that as a test, deploy from the EAR, I get
Error 500: javax.servlet.ServletException: Filter [trinidad]: Could not find required filter class - org.apache.myfaces.trinidad.webapp.TrinidadFilter.class
So I'm thinking that the EAR deployments aren't finding any of the ADF and if I continue I'll be manually adding all of ADF.
Also, this may be a clue, when deploying via an EAR, WebSphere wants us to manually wire up the JDBC references to JDBC resources, but when deploying via JDeveloper that step is handled automatically.
Where should I start?

I have a few doubts in the deployment. I am using Standalone OC4J as my target App Server. My first doubt is that, do i need to install ADF Runtime Libs. If yes, what will be the location of the ADF libs/jars in the server location.
I am srill getting the error :

You can't. Apple's share button only supports Apple Mail (as specified by launching Apple Mail, choosing preferences and choosing general.). Maybe Apple will open this up to other apps in future updates.

UDDI connection via JDeveloper

Hi All.
We just installed the Oracle's UDDI on our Oracle 10.3 appserver, and I've loaded a few WSDL's there just as a test. Made the connection to the UDDI server via JDeveloper, (10.1.3.3/4) but what I'm missing is a way to save the UDDI's username/password so that I don't have to type it in for every single WSDL it retrieves when doing a search via JDev. Is there a setting on the UDDI itself that I can set to make the WSDL publicly searchable? We basically just want to document all our WS's in one central place and UDDI seems to be the answer for this, but if you can't search it from JDeveloper, then it loses a lot of its value for us.
Any ideas/thought/wild musings would be most helpfull.

I presume the TP Link powerlink is a powerline adaptor?
The first thing to try is a factory reset of the homehub by pressing a pin into the recess button on the rear for about 20 seconds and if the powerline adaptors have a reset button, reset them.
It is also best not to have the powerline adaptors sharing a double electric socket with the computer.

It says you're missing the oracle.lite.poljdbc.POLJDBCDriver class which belongs to the Oracle Lite database.
For some reason it is configured in your data-sources.xml, either in config/data-sources.xml or in applications/<your_app_name>/META-INF/data-sources.xml or in your JDev Connections.
Find this configuration and determine whether you need it. If not, remove it.

Hello every body.
Im new using Jdeveloper and Flex.
Im working in Red Hat Linux ES/AS 4.
I have download and install Jdevloper 10.1.3 and download , from macromedia web, and install Flex 2.0.1 in my server.
Now I want add Flex to Jdeveloper in the way that I can work with Java and Flex integrated, for this I think that I must to add Flex in anyway to Jdeveloper.
Anybody can send me a link where I can find how to do this?

The new iTunes 12 Get Info dialog lacks right-click context menus (at least for now) but it still accepts most standard keyboard shortcuts and drag & drop actions.
Delete Artwork
On the artwork tab of Get Into, tap the image in question, use Backspace or Ctrl+X. Delete doesn't work.
Or, tap the image at the top left of Get Info, this time use Backspace or Delete, it is Ctrl+X that doesn't work.
Add Artwork
Select artwork, press Ctrl+C to copy, tap the centre of the Artwork tab, press Ctrl+V to paste.
Or, select artwork, press Ctrl+C to copy, tap the small image area at the top left, press Ctrl+V to paste.
Or, you can drag & drop to, or sometimes from, the same locations.
You can also copy artwork from the Get Info dialog to Windows Explorer with the keyboard shortcuts.
If the source image is on a web page right-click and use Copy Image rather than copy. (With Chrome I get a one pixel wraparound so tend to go for a temporary local copy anyway - not sure whose bug this is, but it isn't new.)
If you have multiple images embedded drag the one you want to be the primary artwork to the leftmost position.
Replace/Remove All Artwork
The top left image box can be used to add or delete art from multiple tracks. In either case all existing artwork in all tracks is replaced/removed.
Old Style Get Info Dialog
Select some items, right-click, hold down shift, then click Get Info from the context menu. (Use alt/option on a Mac)
If you still cannot add artwork via any of these methods then I would suspect a permissions problem. See Repair security permissions for iTunes for Windows.

Provide ADF Library via Jdeveloper

Hi,
Maybe a stupid question but I googled but could not find the right answer yet.
Is there a way to deploy the ADF libraries via the project you are deploying ? I tried to do so via Application properties > Libraries & Classpath and it seems they get into the .EAR file.
Deployment however still fails that the adf.oracle.domain library is not present.
Am I thinking in the wrong direction or should this be possible.

In addtion to this, on 11g it worked ok with providing the JRF via jdeveloper installer.
I am not testing on 12 C and JRF installing seems to be more complicated. Therefor I just tried to make the library's available via the .EAR file deployment.

Manage Access to Named Credentials via EMCLI

Hi Colleagues,
does anyone know how to manage access to Named Credentials via EMCLI or does anyone know if this function exist in EMCLI.
We want to configure the access via scripts, so that we can for example grant access for all database administrators to all named credentials.
I would be very pleased if anyone has a solution.

Hi,
Use the verb grant_privs to grant a user access to a named credential.
For example:
emcli grant_privs -name=MARY -privilege="GET_CREDENTIAL;CRED_NAME=HOST-CREDS:CRED_OWNER=SCOTT"
..grants the user MARY view privileges on the credentials called HOST-CREDS owned by SCOTT.
View privileges will allow Mary to use the credentials but will not allow her to see sensitive information such as the password.

New Portal add-in for JDeveloper

Hi,
I just installed the new Portal add-in for JDeveloper 9.0.3 which additionnally to the existing JPDK portlets supports now the new standard JSR168 portlets generation.
When trying to generate standard portlets, the wizard starts OK and all the screen are there, but when clicking on the finish button to generate the code, nothing seems to happen and no error message or anything is displayed !!
Any suggestion ??
My operating system is W2K workstation using JDeveloper 9.0.3.2.

It sounds like you haven't followed the download and install instructions for the portlet container (called 'PDK Standards Preview' on portal studio).
Although the jdev addin can build portlets suitable for **any** jsr 168 compliant container, part of the install depends on jar files in the JWSDP 1.2 distribution which you download as part of the container install.
Check the jdev addin install doc again, specifically pre-requisite number 2.
If you don't want to use the Oracle JSR 168 container, then just download JWSDP 1.2 from java.sun.com and grab the same jar files from that. Although, note that in this case the deployment instructions in the tutorial article will not apply - as they are oc4j/jdev specific. You'll have to figure out how to deploy into your chosen container yourself.

Deploy via Jdeveloper, error when role is "ascontrol_appadmin"

We would like developers to deploy their work (BPEL) via JDeveloper, but
given the role of "ascontrol_appadmin" they are unable to make a
connection to the application/integration server?.

I've been meaning to ask that, I bet you've found they can upload a BPEL suitcase file through BPEL console but cannot make the link from JDev ?
My system admin gave my user more privs than bpeladmin as a test and it still doesn't work, here is what I see in App Server Control :

All. I too was hoping that I could set up osx mail using exchange so it is a real shame it doesn't work the same as iOS even in Mountain Lion and still not in 10.8.2 where some more platform unification updates where made but then if it is Google that have to supply the server / make available....
Anyway, My primary reason for wanting to do this was contact sync. However, I now have contacts synced with OSX contacts following another thread you can search for. It was as simple as going into preferences accounts in the contacts app and setting up the google account. The same as selecting the default google type account in mail instead of exchange.
If mail is open, even minimised you will get mail notifications even using IMAP in the new OSX notification centre. And with contacts google account set up you will see another sync icon next to the time capsule icon.
So now all is working on OSX.
