Add custom hint text/tooltip for disabled "selectOne" component.

Hi All,
I was trying to get some custom tooltip or hint text on selectOne component.
But any text that I add is not visible if the component is disabled.
I need to tell the end-user why this control is disabled when s/he moves the mouse over it.

Why don't you choose the 'Help in Attributes' ADF support?
I think It would be more appropriate than a custom dialog.

I have already built custom_cover_message using application_developer/message forms and generated it.

step 2) do i need to write some code in BADI also to update information for my custom infotype also if yes then where and which BADI pls let me know ? because already am working on one badi HRALE00INBOUND_IDOC for few validation for incoming data.
step 3 ) add this new custom infotype in my standard ALE filters.
Pls let me know if am mistaking some where or if i have to do some thing else ?

How to add customer specific text in MEDRUCK form?

    Thanks for Reply. Actually the requirement is the specific customer(vbpa-kunnr) wants to add one small note like " This is computer gernerated copy, no singnature required" bottom of the footer or just before footer.
1) I have created that note in S010 entries and called via include directly in window itself. It is not working.
2) Tried with PERFORM statement and written piece of code in main programme and called via form. It is also not working.
Where we can validate that particular customer like in forms? or in progarmme? ( please consider me as a new developer in scripts).
   Please give me more details regarding my issude , so that i can go ahead with your suggestions.

How to custom Rating Scale field to add more range text in survey on sharepoint 2013

When we use the rating scale field to create question in survey. You can only set three range texts for each question. Is there any way to allocate a range text for each range ? Such as below :

From Microsoft official site, we can find the definition of “Range Text”: enter descriptions for the low, middle, and high scale. It means there are only
three types of description which is the by design behavior. For example, if we have 8 number range, the purpose of the range text is to tell users that 8 is highest and 1 is the lowest. We don’t need to specific description for each column.
As you really want to achieve the goal, we can write client JavaScript code to dynamically update the UI on page. We use SharePoint designer updates the “NewForm.aspx”,
“DispForm.aspx”, “EditForm.aspx” and “Summary.aspx” to add custom JavaScript codes.

How to add Custom View to GP Runtime Views

Hi All,
I would like to add custom view to my GP process.
In GP runtime mode the numbers you see on left hand side like "run103" "run002" are confusing to users. I would like to have appropriate name/description instead.
I understand that I can add Custom view to Runtime Views, but when I am editing a process "Add Custom View" button is always disabled.
Why that button is always disabled?
How do I define Custom View for a process?

Here Naviagate to lib folder and open up umelogonbase.jar
You will find a number of properties files. You can simply change the text in any of the langaue files.
This is the simplest solution that you can have.

UME setup
1)     go to Configuration tool (C:\usr\sap\J2E\JC02\j2ee\configtool\consoleconfig.bat)
2)     For Global server configuration->services->com.sap.security.core.ume.service define property ume.admin.addattrs as BU_PARTNER and for ume.admin.self.addattrs as <empty>. (to set value select entry, input value in Value field and click Set)
3)     Click Apply changes button on the toolbar.
4)     Restart server.
5)     Login to http://<server_name>:<server_port>/useradmin/index.jsp and define BU_PARTNER property.

SRQM_NOTES - how to disable the tooltip for the textfield

in SRQM_NOTES the textarea represents this contextnote attribute:

How can we disable the tooltip for this textarea.
It is not usable that there is a tooltip window in the way while a user tries to read the text behind the tooltip.

Add Freight Text Note for Order Confirmation

In situations where we charge actaul freight and override the upfront % pricing calculation, we need to add a Freight Text to the Order Confrimation where Inside Sales can enter something like "Freight to be determined" on the Order that will be displayed to the Customer.
How do we do that...kindly let me know the steps

Let me tell you my understanding of your requirement. you want to add a note ' freight to be redetermined' in your order confirmations, am i right?
If yes, configure a text type in header level with description' Freight'
assign it to the procedures and assign it to document type.
Now when you need to redetermine the freight then maintain a text message in that text type in header level.
In the print program you need to check for this text type, if some thing is written here it gets printed on the place where you specify on the out put.

LSMW for Customer master text upload

I would want to upload the customer master text using LSMW. I see a message type /DSD/HH_CUSTMASTEXT (Customer master additions) being available.
has anybody used this for text upload??
I am not sure how it works, i dont see the provision to enter the text unlike the "SAVE_TEXT function module.
If any one of you have used it, kindly let me know.

yes we could do the text upload using direct input method. I need to invoke it from web methods, it would be difficult with direct input method and hence i was looking for using IDOC's.
