Add image to beginning of each cell?

I'm using VB with Word Interop.
Currently, the program is creating a Mailing Labels sheet for bottles.
Is there a way to programmatically add an image to the beginning of each cell (before the New Recipe text)?

I am trying to add image in a particular column each row Override the getColumnClass() method of the JTable to return the class of data in each column and it will choose the appropiate renderer. I've posted examples. I think I called the class "Table Icon" (one word). Search the forum and you should find it.

Its very simple and straightforward.
All you need to do is:
1...Create a context(value attribute) of type string.
2...I am assuming that you have created a table, and mapped its columns with a node.
3...In the <i>TableCellEditor</i> of your desired column, map the above context with the <i>imagesource</i> property.
4...In the code, set the value of this context to the image name(eg: abc.gif), on satisfying of a condition.
5...However, keep in mind to set the context value to some default blank image in the doinit() of the view, else, you will get a null pointer exception.
I hope this solves your problem.

UITableView each cell has image, title and text

Hi, I have a UITableView and right now each cell has an image and a text. I would like to change the layout a little bit.
For each cell, on the left you have an image. On the right, the top portion has Title which is in large fonts and bottom portion has text which is in smaller fonts. Does UITableView already support it or I have to write my code to customize it?

You need to configure a custom cell, either in code or in IB using a subclass of UITableViewCell. There are excellent, well explained examples of both techniques in Chapter 8 of Mark & LaMarche (and based on many of your questions, I think a few hours with that book would save you months of looking for free sample code). However there's also a good discussion with sample code in the +Table View Programming Guide for iPhone OS+ under Customizing Cells.

Using a Macro to add a Carriage Return after each data entry within all cells of an imported range of cells

I have a macro that copies data from a Target workbook then pastes the data into a destination workbook. I then wish to use lookups in the destination workbook to view specific data from the pasted range of data on a separate sheet.
The problem is, the cells that contain numbers from the pasted data have the green dogeared error flags associated with the cell. The only way I can make a lookup function work, is to go to each cell and manually enter a carriage return after each entry.
The code for the macro is given below. What can be done so that the pasted data contains no errors associated with the number cells? Or can a second macro be written to clean the data. If so can you help me out? Thanks in advance.

Hi DAPAugust64,
The green "dogeared error flags" of the cells means that you paste numbers in these cells, but they're formated as Text.
So you need to change the cells back to the correct format so that the lookup function works fine. You can simply call this method after pasting:
ActiveSheet.Cells(1, 1).NumberFormat = "General"
ActiveSheet.Cells(1, 1) = ActiveSheet.Cells(1, 1).Text

How can I add a two second pause to the beginning of each slide?

Hello,
I have a project with TTS and perfectly aligned CC notes - 64 slides. Now the customer would like for there be a two-second pause before the audio begins on each slide in order to allow the user to first become oriented with the slide. Is there a way I can do this without moving the audio down the timeline two seconds, and then having to adjust the appearance of each of the CC notes accordingly?
I was thinking of something like pause two seconds On Enter -- Is this possible?

I have a table which shuffles cells, can i add hyperlink to each cell?

I have a table containing 8 different names. I have a shuffle code which randomly shuffles the cells around within the table. However i want to have a hyperlink to each name in each cell, is this possible?
I am an amateur at dreamweaver! all help would be greatly appreciated.

Add a radio button to each row on output (not selection-screen)

its a normal interacitve report...
we need to add a radio button to each row on output (not selection-screen) and when user selects the radio button of a particular row and clicks on the user defined menu 'Execute' the report has to fetch the records from a table corresponding to the selected row on the second list.
all this has to be done in normal interactive list.
please let me know your suggetions as soon as possible.

How do i add images in the header and footer to a PDF using iText

Thanks for the quick response.
The problem is that when I keep the logo as a watermark, the pdf is not adjusting itself to include the logo as header.
But if I add a header text via Tools -> Headers and Footers, the pdf is adjusting itself so that the header text is at the beginning , not overlapping with the contents of pdf.
But while using logo as watermark, some times overlapping of the pdf contents and logo is happening.
Is there any way to add a logo in the Header and Footer via the option in Tools -> Headers and Footers

Simplest way to display a title or caption at the beginning of each scene?

I am editing a video to make an instructional dvd covering 23 separate lessons. Without some kind of text in the first few seconds of each scene, there is no way for the viewer to quickly and efficiently distinguish one scene from another as they jump forward or backward from scene to scene. They would have to go back to the main menu between each scene to find the one they're looking for, and that's cumbersome.
I would like to add a caption/title (not sure what the technical Adobe term is -- I'm obviously an amateur) to the screen at the beginning of each scene. It can be a text overlay on top of the video, or it can be a blacked out screen (or whatever) with text that lasts a few seconds before each scene begins. I just need something to let the viewer know which lesson they are about to see.
I went through the footage and added scene markers at appropriate places, and the menu is functional. Now I'm looking for the most efficient (least time-consuming) way to accomplish my goal. It looks like one alternative is to manually split the clips at each scene change, then go to sceneline and insert a title between each scene, then manually type in the text that corresponds to my description of each scene. I hope this isn't the only, or the most efficient way.
Anyone know a simpler alternative? The simpler the better, as only a few people will be using the dvd so I don't want the cost (measured in editing time and effort) to outweigh the benefit of viewer convenience. Thanks in advance.

My iBook has a blank page at the beginning of each chapter. How do I delete?

I have a blank page offset to the left at the beginning of each chapter. How do I delete them?

The first selectable template is "Basic"... the template - and any others have placeholder text and images excepting pages "Default" and Blank. The "Default" page accepts flowing text. "Blank" is just that with only any BG image and page numbering decided in the template.
Nothing you describe seems to be part of just opening a standard template.
Below are screen shots from the book tree and the layouts - these are the "Basic" template pages without any modifications.
Any of the pages shown in the tree can be deleted. Chapter and Sections will also delete any pages added under them.

I have a "how are you feeling section?" and rather than use words like Happy or Sad; I'd prefer to have a smilie face or a sad face.
I tried leveraging off the text in the column entry screen (inserting <img) tags and inserting common string combinations that retruned smilie images from Lync/ Im or Skype...
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
If it's InfoPath form that you are talking about, then its quite simple. Follow the below mentioned steps,
1. Add option Button control field(two buttons for happy and sad)
2. You are supposed to type in the option for the button(like Happy and Sad in words) following each radio button.
3. Instead of typing there, add a picture control and make it read only. Put the smiley as the default picture of the picture control through picture control properties.(you can browse for the pic from your PC).

The 'Java 5 tutorial' is really an outstanding oneI should note the the current tutorial on the Sun website has bee updated for Java 6. It contains updates to reflect the changes made in JDK6. Once of the changes is that sorting of tables is now supported directly which is why I needed to give you the link to the old tutorial.

Do I have to add a new contact for each new phone number?

I just got my phone and I'm adding in my contact manually. I don't see multiple spots for multiple phone numbers for one person? Do I have add a new contact for each phone number a person has? (I.e. One for their home number, one for their work number, one for their cell number).

No.
There is no reason to have a default number of phone number entries that may not all be used and the same for email addresses.
When manually entering contact info, after entering the first number for a contact, a new phone number entry is made available directly below.
