Add-on Used By Multiple Users Simultaneously

I'm trying to implement an add-on that can be used by multiple users in SBO simultaneously. After installation, the code I have created works great for one user, and is set to start automatically on user login for all users. However, when I leave one user logged in and then try to log in with another user account, I get an exception because the exe is already running under the other user. What is a good solution to get around this and would anyone have any sample code from one of their projects? I'm using Business One 2004 PL14, as well as for the SDK, and VB.NET/Studio 2003.

I am trying to picture this.
Are you starting up an entirely new SBO client on the same workstation and logging in under a different user when this occurs?
Can you provide a little more info on the error code you are getting and what is reporting the error?

This is specifically for an application where the customer has hundreds of guest users coming in to a conference center each day and they want to be able to provide Internet-only access using the WLAN.
They wish to restrict access to legitimate guest users only and wish to confirm user legitimacy with a simple username/password challenge to prevent unauthorized access to the WLAN.
In an effort to reduce the effort to setup each separate guest user login for hundreds of users, the customer wants to setup only one username/password-of-the-week and have all legitimate guest users use that login info.
So... my questions are:
Will the WLAN user get an error if more than one user attempts to login to the WLAN using web authentication at the same time?
If so, is there a setting that would permit multiple simultaneous login using the same username/password?

Set the number of simultaneous logins to 0. My clients have done this and have not experienced any issues.

Using of one transaction by multiple users simultaneously

We have one P.O number. we want to do Migo with reference to that P.o by three users simultaneously. During simultaneously use by multiple users the system gives a message that this p.o is currently used by other user, how can we solve this problem.
example- the p.o contains 50000 mt material ( coal). The material is carried out by trucks into the gate. the users are using T-code- MIGO truckwise. in order to speed up the process as there are lot of trucks carrying material by multiple users the system is not processing data under one p.o.

Alternative you can think of is not to do GR against PO directly, but first create inbound delivery for each of the physical shipments/trucks.
Then you can do GR against each inbound delivery separately.

A frame failed to render while using Render Multiple Frames Simultaneously

Hello fellow AE users:
I've read other threads which deal with this issue, however they don't seem to be exactly what I'm experiencing so I'm starting a new thread. I did do several hours of due diligence by research others' handling of this issue, so I'm not just blindly reposting this question without having done some legwork.
I'm getting this message when rendering one of my compositions:
"After Effects warning: A frame failed to render while using Render Multiple Frames Simultaneously. Allocating more memory to the background processes in Memory & Multiprocessing Preferences may fix this problem. (26 :: 142)"
First, some background on what led up to this. I've built an entirely new system from scratch based on the new Intel 5960X 8-Core processor, with 64GB of RAM on an Asus X99-Deluxe Mobo.Brand new install of Windows 8.1, and brand new install of After Effects CC (latest versions as of this posting) and all of my plug-ins (mostly Red Giant, also all updated to current versions.) I have a new video card in this system (Gigabyte GTX 980 G1 Gaming) however this issue also happened with my old 4GB GTX 680 as well, which was in the original i7-950 system (see below.)
I've set up Multiprocessing preferences for 6GB reserved for system, 8 CPUs reserved for other applications which leaves "Actual CPUs that will be used: 8", with each CPU having a 6GB RAM allocation. That's 8x6=46G, leaving 18GB free for the operating system, which should be more than enough.
One could speculate that there is some plug-in that is using too much memory, or something weird with QuickTime or H.264 decoding (the source is one Canon 5D mk II H.264 .mov and one jpeg file). However, this issue did *NOT* happen on my old system, which was 4-core Intel i7-950, 24GB RAM, running the same version of After Effects CC and my plug-ins, and with only 3GB/Thread of ram allocated instead of the 6GB/Thread i'm using here.
I've simply loaded the old project on the new install and attempted to render. I have not changed any settings. I DID do the thing where you hold CTRL-SHIFT-ALT (or something like that) to reset all of the preferences when loading AE just in case that was the issue.
So, why would this be able to render using multiple processes on my old box with only 3GB/thread, while it will NOT render on this new system with double that, 6GB/thread allocated?
Please let me know if there is any other information I can provide that would be helpful to debug this.

Thank you very much for the quick reply, Todd. I'll give that a shot. There also seems to be a problem with the Red Giant Cosmo plug-in. I get Cosmo engine initialization failures, but it's intermittent.

Your iCoud account remains in iCloud even if your device is restored. (In fact, you can't delete an iCloud account from iCloud, you can only choose to stop using it.) If the device is restored, or it may no longer be signed into your iCloud account but your account will still exist in iCloud.

Mass Add authorizations using RSECADMIN for user tab

I sent the following to ask SAP if there is a way to do this and they told me they could not help unless I wanted to pay the consulting fees so I am now curious if they have a way to do this. I have reviewed the help documents and OSS notes and could not find anything . They pro-offered adding the authorization S_RS_AUTH to the role but I do not want to do that. I want to do it by user instead of creating many multiple roles. Below is the question. Does anyone know how to do a mass add to authorizations to users using RSECADMIN.

There are two different methods of assigning authorisations.
Direct
1. From the RSECADMIN transaction select 'Users', enter the name and select 'Change'. Use the value help to selct the authorisation in question and for a single value select 'Insert'. If you select the 'Nodes' option it is possible to select nodes of hierarchies on characteristic 0TCATUTH (a single H; not to be confused with 0TCAUTHH!). This char offers automatically all BI authorizations as virtual master data. These master data can be organized in hierarchies, a property that offers the possibility to group authorizations by meaning or application field. Press "Save" to save the assignment to database.
Assignment via Roles and Profiles
2. It is also possible to assign using roles or more specifically, profiles of roles. Use PFCG and instead of entering manually created object use S_RS_AUTH which gives you the BI Auth field to enter the appropriate authorisations.

Deleting roles from multiple users simultaneously

I need to delete all of the roles from multiple users and I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to do it simultaneously other than a Mercury script(it wont take the roles away that are lower than the initial 20)?

there could be easier ways to do it, but this is how I'd go about it if I didn't want to go to each user ID.
Get a list of all roles assigned to your users you want to restrict from SUIM (display the list of users via tcode S_BCE_68001400). Click on the 'roles' button and it will pull up a list of all the roles assigned to those users. Extract and save that).
Filter the list so you have only one entry of each role name.
Then go to SU10, enter in all your user IDs to change and go to the role tab, enter the unique list and put wide dates on it say from 01.01.1995 - 31.12.9999 (you want them earlier than the earliest role 'valid from' date and later than the latest role 'valid to' assignment).
Click the 'Remove' box and save and you should have all roles removed.

We have 3 computers in our home and have our music on a networked drive, with on each computer an itunes library. We would like to have 1 itunes library on the networked drive, that each of the computers can access simultaneously. How can we achieve this?

Multiple Users Simultaneous Login

Does anyone have a way of simultaneously logging in multiple computers with different usernames and possibly passwords. I have found Unix commands for doing this with a single user account, but not multiple. All machines would be running X.4.9 with ARD 3.1

Sorry, but I'm not clear on what it is you're asking regarding "multiple computers with different usernames". Could you please explain further what it is you're trying to accomplish?
If what you mean is that you want to have some computers logged in with User A and other computers logged in with User B, then you have to do this with separate UNIX commands. But if you want to be able to do this with a single operation, you could set up an Automator workflow so that it executes the separate commands from a single script. If that's not what you mean, please post back and clarify.
