Add options in dropdown.
Hi,
in Configuration tab for component BT111s_Oppt/search I want to add a second option in the second level criteria drop down.
When ever I select any feild in the selected search criteria section ,the seconnd level criteria is coming as 'is' by default.
But I need to have 'status as '
Please let me know how do I go about this.

Hi,
The drop down that you are describing corresponds to the value range operators( EQ, NE, CS, etc.,). I doubt if you will be able to change their text.

I changed the Back end Vendor Master Data - Purchasing View (Example Accounting Number) and run the BBPUPDVD Tr code in SRM. The Business Partner (Vendor) data is updated correctly in SRM System from Back End System.
We have set of purchasing organisations like one local (SRM) Purchasing Organisation and respective Back end Purchasing Organisation (account number). When ever I run BBPUPDVD, the SRM system updates the backend vendor master data with back end purchasing organisation into SRM Standard tables. Then I am running BBP_UPDATE_PORG Tr code to have updated data into SRM Local Purchasing Organisation. I am receiving error message.
Example Scenario:
step 1: Present values in Vendor Master Vendor Number 100250, Purchaing Organisation : 1010 A/c Number: 100250-1010
and I changed the account number as 10025o-test for vendor 100250 and pur organisation 1010.
step 2: I run the BBPUPDVD in SRM System.
Step 3: I checked the values in BBPMAININT - vendor data (for backend vendor number 100250 and backend pur organisation - 1010). The SRM system replicates the values correct.
Step 4: I executed BBP_UPDATE_PORG and replaced the local (SRM) business partner (for local vendor number - 100250 and local purchasing organisation) - REPLACE Option. Then SRM replaces the SRM Business Partner (local) Data with Back end Vendor Master Data and also Back End vendor master data is deleted in SRM System. Now I have updated business partner details in SRM System as SRM Local an no SRM Back End Vendor Master Data in SRM System. This step is working fine.
Step 5: One more time I am executing BBP_UPDATE_PORG Tr code with Add option to have SRM Back End Details (in SRM System) from SRM Local Details (SRM System). Then the system is error message in SM13 Tr code.
Kind Note: There is no SRM Back End Vendor details in SRM System which I want to have with the help of executing BBP_UPDATE_PORG Tr code with Add option.

Your form is not shared so I have not been able to access it. But I have updated mine. There are now two approaches, one that follows on from the above method and updates each drop down list in each row. The second updates a separate dataset that the drop down list is bound to. This second approach requires the remerge() method which can cause problems if your code has updates some form properties like a borders color as these will be reset, but the code is simplier and you will only have one list to maintain. The add button click code is;

Expand the Attribute Period_type and double click on its GET_V method.
You will find following code line :
lr_ddlb->set_selection_table( me->job_wizard ).
Double click on the Set_selection_table method to open the method code.
You will find a LOOP.. ENDLOOP there. Here,to remove the values, comment out this LOOP- ENDLOOP.
and add following lines
ls_ddlb-key = 'Y'.
ls_ddlb-value = 'Yearly'.
APPEND ls_ddlb TO me->ddlb.

Your first 2½ points are valid, along with one you didn't make: Incorporating a compass into the viewfinder introduces a magnetic field in a location where you probably don't want one.
I think your third point is a bit overstated, however. The 7D (and I think also the 5D3) has had a fairly major firmware update during its lifetime that did include an additional feature that I thought was importatnt: the ability to name image files before they leave the camera. Since I have two 7Ds, it's very helpful to be able to see quickly which pictures were taken with which camera. And when I share photo shoots with my wife, it helps me tell my pictures from hers. (She uses a Rebel, which lacks the in-camera naming feature.)
All that aside, the value of an in-camera compass is at best debatable. If you actually need it, you probably want it to be accurate; and unless you never leave your home town, you'd have to recalibrate it often to keep it in sync with true north (or south). I think I'd consider it just another unnecessary distraction.

I am facing a problem in adding item in a dropdown list dynamically.
When i get dropdown list through IgetElementById get null.
var list = document.getElementById("targetgroupname");
here list comes as null. Now I've to fill this list. I am using below code -

But it is not working. My list is not getting filled with these values.
I doubt due to var list -> null it does not allow to add element.
But I am not getting any clue, how to initialize it.

Thanks for the reply, yes the select box has that id - targetgroupname.
actually there are 2 dropdown lists, Based on the selection of first dropdown list another list shd be filled.
So I've written a script at "onchange" of first dropdown list. It works fine when a value gets changed at first dropdown list.
In some cases I've to display a preselected value at first list ( which comes from previous page as parameter), in that cases there will be no onchange on first list, so I've called the script function manually after creating the first list,like below :
<SCRIPT> checkSource();</SCRIPT>
and in this case it does not work & I get a null when i try to read the 2nd list.
But I am not sure why it is happening.. may be it is not loaded /created on page when i am calling it.
If yes, what shd I do ?

Unable to handle event --Select-Options as Dropdown filled with Value Set

I seem to be having no luck with this problem. I have searched enough, and not come across any relevant documentation either.
I am using a select options field made as a dropdown and am populating the dropdown values using the Value Set where i can provide a table of key values versus descriptions. Additionaly, I have hidden the standard buttons -- CANCEL, CHECK, RESET, EXECUTE.
This appears exactly like a dropdown, just as desired.
However, no event seems to be triggered whenever I select any value from this dropdown field.
The interface controller of the select-options component offers 5 events and I have tried creating event handlers for all of these; with no success. With no event to track, I am frozen.
I know I may be able to create such a dropdown list without using select-options either; but the point is if this functionality is provided by select-options, there should be a way of using it.
I have browsed through the helper class as well as the interface controller, but am not getting a clue.
The bottomline is, with my current situation, how can i track the on-click or on-change kind of event?
Could anybody melt the ice?
Thanks.I went to the source code of the select-options class (CL_WDR_SELECT_OPTIONS) and found the method where the UI elements are rendered (RENDER_SELECTION_SCREEN_ITEM). In the spot where the DDLB is rendered, there is simply no code to register any events for the DDLB. So it doesn't appear that there is any intention to allow you to handle such events from the DDLB.

You have take it to your ABAPer, who will have to modify the attributes of CSKSZ-VERAK field in CSKSZ structure. ABAPer will have to define it with foreign key and introduce the name of the table, which will be used for deriving the available values. No standard table exists for it, but you can either create your own Z-table or take it from users table (USR02) if you have the necessary information there. Of course, this action would account for modification of standard SAP structure.

Google Contacts API 2.0: Add option to select which groups are synced
This has been a requested issue for quite some time now:
*1) Add an option to control what Google Contact groups are synced in ITunes*
Currently, if you sync to Google Contacts, iTunes will pull in EVERY contact from your Google Contact list. That includes those contacts filed under "Suggested Contacts", which lists contacts you email on a frequent basis. The workaround for this is to delete your Suggested contacts every time you sync your iPhone, or risk the issue of having hundreds of new junk contacts in your iPhone.
I understand that there was an issue in the Google API before, the issue being that there was no way to distinguish between which group the contacts were coming from. That issue is now gone, it was corrected in the update of the Google API to 2.0 on December 12th. Now, when syncing, the ability to distinguish which groups the contacts exist in is there. With Google's update, the iTunes implementation of syncing Google Contacts can allow the selection of only specific groups to sync.
As said before, this is basic functionality that has been requested by many for a long time (search Google if you don't believe me), and I hope and pray that the wonderful iTunes/iPhone gods will bestow upon us the ability to select Google Contact groups in the near future. How to I add options to the Context Menu for html files under Site Content
Currently in Web Page Composer... if a developer wants to get the Target URL to an html page in a WPC site (i.e. under the Site Content folder) they have to take several steps... Content Menu -> Details -> Settings -> Properties -> Access Links -> copy the Target URL. I would like to add this ability (i.e. to copy the target URL to clipboard) as a option to the "context menu" of each html file. Does anyone know if this is possible and if so how it can be done? It can be a global change if necessary.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
See [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] and [[Troubleshooting plugins]]
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")
Also check the Mouse driver settings in the Control Panel. -

how can I add an hardcoded option to an OAMessageChoiceBean? Because the choice that I'm using contains a list of products to configure on my app, therefore I need to add a hardcoded option that has in his setListDisplayAttribute "ALL" and also in his setListValueAttribute "all", to capture the value on the onchange event, but I don't know how can I add this menthioned option :(

The best way to handle such requirements is to create a new Lookup in your application and then make your VO query based on these lookups.So that if in future you need to add or disable some of values you can do so without touching the page and its components.
But if you donot want to go for Lookup option then you can simply write a dummy query as mentioned by gaurav and add that to your VO.

Unable to add items to dropdown list using javascript
Hi,
I'm trying to add additional items to a dropdown list at runtime using javascript.
I'm doing this by invoking the addItem method on the dropdown list field during its initialize event.
However when I run the generated pdf in Acrobat Pro, I get the following error in the console -
GeneralError: Operation failed.
XFAObject.addItem:3:XFA:form1[0]:#subform[0]:field0[0]:initialize
Method: 'addItem' cannot be called because doing so would violate this document's permissions settings.
The pdf form has no signatures or any other stuff in it.
What additional permissions do I need to add and how ?

JoelIs there a reason to use the code you did? It looks like the problem is with the variable's permissions when going through the template.
This code works just fine in that same event:
this.addItem("new item");
As does:
var f = xfa.resolveNode("form1.#subform1[0].field0");
f.additem("new item");
