Add or edit step(s) dynamically in a sequence

I am trying to add or edit step(s) dynamically in a sequence, based on the response from the user to a ui. If I can not do this in the Test Stand language, how would I do it using a LabVIEW vi and programmatically put that into a Test Stand sequence and run that sequence?

The easiest way to edit the currently loaded SequenceFile is to use the existing Operator Interfaces that are shipped with TestStand. The OI performs operations using Command objects. It is also possible to implement your own Custom Commands. Custom Commands make it possible to perform operations such as dynamic sequence editing. The tutorial Adding Custom Commands to the LabVIEW Operator Interface covers Custom Commands in detail. Note: This requires that you have a TestStand development license in order to modify or save Sequence Files.

I found some of my old code for my example, but unfortunately I haven't found the custom step types.
Anyway, had a look at your example posted.
I am I right in thinking you want the built sequence file to contain SequenceCall step which is linked to an internal sequence?
Assuming this is your requirement. I took the supplied SequenceBuilderTool example and modified it as such:
1. Added a SequenceCall step in MainSequence of the Template sequence file with its sub-sequence.
2. Added the sequence call step in the ini file.
3. Modified the "Build New Sequence" to insert the sub-sequence into the New Sequence File before inserting the steps into MainSequence.
Because I was only inserting one sequence, I kept it very simple.
First thing to do is get a reference to the Sequence from the Template Sequence File. Because I only had one sequence I used SequenceFile.GetSequenceByName. but if you have more than one you can get the number of sequences and use this as the max count and then use the GetSequenceByIndex, not using 0 as this will be MainSequence which will already be in your New Sequence File.
Next get a Clone of that Sequence using your new reference using PropertyObject.Clone.
Then finally, Insert the sequence into the new sequence file using Parameters.NewSequenceFileRef as the ActiveX Reference and call SequenceFile.InsertSequence (or SequenceFile.InsertSequenceByIndex).
Then I released the reference to the sub-sequence by setting the local variable used to Nothing.
The actual inserting of the SequenceCall step into MainSequence is handle by the existing code.
This produced a sequence file which contained the sub-sequence and the Step in MainSequence which called the sub-sequence.

Can't see "Add or Edit Fields" menu in Acrobat 9 Standard v9.5.2

I am trying to edit the fields of an Adobe form from one of my co-workers. We both are running Acrobat 9 Standard v9.5.2. She is able to see the Forms-->"Add or Edit Fields" menu, while I cannot.
I cannot get this menu item to show? Can someone tell me if there is an option or setting to enable so that I can get to this menu item?

Finally found a work around to my problem. Here are the steps:
(1) The original form. Note missing "Add or Edit Fields" menu item.
(2) Click on Document-->Extract Pages
(3) The following dialog pops up. Since I am only working with a 1 page form I accept the defaults and click OK.
(4) The following window is launched. Now I just save the newly generated form:
(5) Now when I check the Forms menu, I finally see the "Add or Edit Fields" item: Yay!!!!
(6) In checking the Document Properties of the new form, the Application (PScript5.dll) and PDF Producer (GPL Ghostscript 8.15) metadata is still the same as before:
Still don't know why I couldn't get to the "Add or Edit Fields" menu item in the original form. After doing the Extract, now I am able to get to it. At this point that's all I care about right now.

Is there any way that I can add or edit my address book using the Desktop software? I would like to input email addresses and other information into my address book on my blackberry without having to type everything in on the blackberry. I was hoping there would be a way to do that on my PC and have it sync to my phone.

he following steps will help you to configure synchronization -
Connect your device using Desktop Manager and click on Synchronization
From the menu on the left click Synchronization under Configuration
Again click Synchronization button on the right which will give you option to Select Device Application that you want to synchronize
Put the check mark and you'll get a prompt to Select Desktop Application
Highlight the application name and click next button
Under Synchronization Option you get Direction of Synchronization
Check the radio button with Two way sync
Note: above mentioned steps are explained as per Desltop Manager 4.5
Example: Synchronize addressbook -
Connect you HH with your desktop Manager in your PC. If you device is set to wireless sync then you need to turn off wireless synchronization. To do so go to Address Book -> click Menu -> Options -> Wireless Synchronization: No -> click Menu and Save the changes.
Click on the Synchronize button on Desktop Manager -> Click on Configuration Tab then click on Configure Synchronization -> Click on Choose under Address Book (on the right side of the pop up window) -> Click on you organizer apps (like, MS outlook, Lotus notes etc) -> Select desired apps -> select Synchronization radio button and click OK twice go back to Synchronize tab ->click on Synchronize Now.

At last, the BEST solution!
In addition to my last post, here is the solution for fixing this problem without syncing your contacts with icloud.
It takes about 2 minutes and permanently solves the problem so you can start adding and editing your contacts again on IOS 5.1.1!
Basically you just need to follow these steps from the Settings page:
Enable Airplane Mode
Go to iCloud settings
Turn on Contacts
Agree to 'Merge Contact'
Wait for pop up to confim iCloud contacts are on
Turn off Contacts
Confirm that you want to Keep your Contact on the iPhone
Wait for pop up to confim iCloud contacts are off
Disable Airplane Mode
Airplane Mode temporarily blocks all phone signal/data to stop your contacts merging with icloud.

Add or Edit Text Dialog Box Disappeared

I am attempting to add text to my pdf using the add or edit text tool in Acrobat Pro X. However, the dialog box that allows me to change fonts, size, color, etc. has disappeared. Does anyone know how to make the dialog box come back?

This is a new problem. It started about 2 days before I posted the question. I have not updated my Acrobat recently and I was previously able to use the dialog box with no problem. I have tried in several different documents and the dialog box is not showing up.

your question is not clear and thus hard to answer.
I have 'Create form' with Application table from a VO. initially Createform should display the template of VO in Application table to insert new rows only.
What does the sentence above mean? You create an ADF form from a View Object (this I understand). But what do you mean by +"template of VO in Application table"+ ?
but when I click on 'Add Row' in Application table..the new entry is not coming
Thought you were using an ADF form? (see how confusing your question is ?)
Maybe this helps anyway: If you create new rows in a table, you don't use the Create but CreateInsert operation

I have added two Shape3D objects in the TransformGroup and I wanted to remove one of it to add another. But, the following exception occurs when I try to use �removeChild� :
�Exception in thread "AWT-EventQueue-0" javax.media.j3d.RestrictedAccessException: Group: only a BranchGroup node may be removed at javax.media.j3d.Group.removeChild(Group.java:345)�.
Why can I add Shape3D objects and I can�t remove them? Do I need to add Shape3D object in the BranchGroup and work only with the BranchGroup? If I do, I think this isn�t a good solution for the scene graph, because for each Shape3D object I will always have to use an associated BranchGroup.

Put a branch group between the transform and the shape. Then it can be removed.
Another thing you could try: This doesn't actually remove the shape, but at least causes it to hide. If you set the capabilities, I think you can write the appearance of the shapes. So, when you want to remove one of them, write an invisible appearance to it.

Maybe find a local who can translate for you. I don't know what to tell you for dealing in another country for service on your computer.
I can offer you something you can do if you want to give it a try. You'll need a backup of your data in your Home folder because you need to erase the drive. You'll also need a solid, preferably fast, internet connection.
Install or Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion from Scratch
Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.
Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Erase the hard drive:
1. Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
2. After DU loads select your startup volume (usually Macintosh HD) from the
      left side list. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
3. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Optionally, click on
        the Security button and set the Zero Data option to one-pass. Click on
      the Erase button and wait until the process has completed.
4. Quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion: Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion and click on the Install button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible

How can we add multiple editable region in template

Hi,
My issue is when I am going to create a new template I want to add multiple editable region in template and I want to use those editable region per page wise so that in page editor I will add different text for each page for those editable region.
I can use incontxt editor to change those area for different pages although is it possible to use online editor to add different text for different pages.
I also have a plan to solve the issue ... that is also not working.
Plan is .. if we can use tag (not the default one in template), want to use different tag like {tag_headding},{tag_sidebarcontent} in template so that we can use those tag in template and fill the field in the page online editor, so when differnt page we will create we will fill those field for those tag and that will show in the front view of the site.
Please help me. I am really stuck on this issue.

Hi Projjwal,
Yes, if you look at many of the commercial BC templates available the way they are getting around it is with Content Holders and multiple templates.
Now I know you will say that multiple templates is high maintenance ..... not if you use Content holders for both recurring content and unique content.
Think of Conent Holders as 'Includes' ... I have been doing it this way with templates that I build from scratch as well. Easier than you think.
And that way the client can change content such as footer information or whatever that appears on all pages without editing the template itself.
Only drawback is that if you are using Design View in Dreamweaver the content holders don't render. But other than that Content Holders are awesome.
