Add XML resources into a Jar Using ClassLoader

hi,
Can any one give an example to load XML/XSL resources in a jar file, Where this jar file xml resources can be used as templates to load Data using XML Generators.
give me example path / example ...
Thanx
sharma

I haven't done this so far, but it should be possible.
One thing you should have in mind is this:
Every WAR is a separate Web Application and has its own context as well as context root.
If you'd like to reuse pages from another WAR file you need to know its context root at the bare minimum to reference to it.

    Hi, guys, I want to add a package into a jar file. For example, my dirctory structrue
    is org/test/, all files locate in the directory test, in org.test package. I want to
    add the package into a jar file, test.jar. I use "java -cvf test.jar -C org/test/ .
    But it says "jar: no match". How can I solve it.
    thanks

    Instead of 'java', use 'jar'.
    All in all, try this: jar cvf test.jar -C org/test/*.class.
    Have a nice day!

  • Unable to add XML files to genericObjects Folders using Webdav - cFolders

    Hi All
    I am not able to add XML files to genericObjects Folders using Webdav in cFolders
    What could be the reason.. When I try to copy, it says "cant read from source file"
    Regards,
    Aby

    Yes.. I downloaded the ECN.XML file from se80, edited and then used "Uplload and replace"..
    Also I did the same thing to add some more vocabulary in the cfx text XML, so that it would reflect correctly to map with Additional attributes in the PDX profile.

    Not a perfectly framed question. How do you want to load the XML file? Hoping you want to parse the xml file and load it into a table you can do this.
    This is the xml file
    karthick% cat emp_details.xml
    <?xml version="1.0"?>
    <ROWSET>
    <ROW>
      <EMPNO>7782</EMPNO>
      <ENAME>CLARK</ENAME>
      <JOB>MANAGER</JOB>
      <MGR>7839</MGR>
      <HIREDATE>09-JUN-1981</HIREDATE>
      <SAL>2450</SAL>
      <COM>0</COM>
      <DEPTNO>10</DEPTNO>
    </ROW>

      <SAL>5000</SAL>
      <COM>0</COM>
      <DEPTNO>10</DEPTNO>
    </ROW>
    </ROWSET>
    You can write a query like this.
    SQL> select *
      2    from xmltable
      3         (
      4            '/ROWSET/ROW'  passing xmltype
      5            (

  • How to chunk the XML files into smaller files using peoplecode.

    We are trying to load the Invoices through our XMLDoc PeopleCode that we have written long back.
      Previously the file is not that big and we are able to load them successfully. But now each file is more than 200MB and we are getting the below error when initiated the process..
      Process Request shows status of 'INITIATED' or 'PROCESSING' but no longer running “.
      I tried to chunk the file manually to 50MB it is able to run it properly but chuncking manually is not possible for all the files as it is time taking process..
      Is there any way that we can check on Webserver/Appserver whether whats happening and how to handle this error..
    Or any sample code to divide the big file into smaller files..
      Please let me know your thoughts..

    Good morning Ashok,
    Your data is in a SQL*Loader supported datatype, so basically it should not be a problem.
    Have you checked the Database Utilities guide (for Oracle9i for instance: http://www.lc.leidenuniv.nl/awcourse/oracle/server.920/a96652/toc.htm) on how to handle this?
    I'll also repeat my previous question, have you ever been able to load data into the database using SQL*Loader (either using ASCII values or any other datatype)?
    For the OWB part, have you read "Importing Data Definitions" (typically chapter 4)? More specifically, "Specifying Field Properties" in "About Flat File Sources and Targets"?
    In "SQL*Loader Properties" it says the following:
    Type Describes the data type of the field for the SQL*Loader. You can use the Flat
    File Sample Wizard to import the following data types: CHAR, DATE, DECIMAL
    EXTERNAL, FLOAT EXTERNAL, INTEGER EXTERNAL, ZONED , AND ZONED
    EXTERNAL. For complete information on SQL*Loader field and data types, refer to
    Oracle9i Utilities. Currently, only portable datatypes are supported.
    If you check the database utitlities guide (chapter 6 Field List Reference) and look for "SQL*Loader Datatypes", you'll find (packed) decimal under the Nonportable Datatypes. This implies that OWB does not support it.
    This does not mean you can't use SQL*Loader, you'll only have to define everything separate from OWB and call it separately as well.
    Good luck, Patrick

  • Load XML File into temporary tables using sql loader

    Hi All,
    I have an XML file as below. I need to insert the contents into a temporary staging table using sql loader. Please advice how I need to do that.
    For example Portfolios should go into a seperate table, and all the tags inside it should be populated in the columns of the table.
    Family should go into a seperate table and all the tags inside it should be populated in the columns of the table.
    Similarly offer, Products etc.

    Two options that come to mind. Others exist.
    #1 - {thread:id=474031}, which is basically storing the XML in an Object Relational structure for parsing
    #2 - Dump the XML into either an XMLType based table or column and use SQL (with XMLTable) to create a view that parses the data. This would be the same as the view shown in the above post.
    Don't use sql*loader to parse the XML. I was trying to find a post from mdrake about that but couldn't. In short, sql*loader was not build as an XML parser so don't try to use it that way.

    Hi, everyone!
    I am using WinRAR to extract the package rt.jar and added

    Anything wrong I have made? How to resolved the reouble?
    Cheers,

    Thanks!
    Do you know how to add .class file to a project of WSAD4.0.2?
    I use CLASSPATH, but always failed in IDE. But it works in
    command line environment. I want to use some classes in a

    Can you help?

  • INSERTION OF XML DATA INTO THE TABLE USING XMLDOM

    hello,
    i am using XMLDOM to insert the data into the table
    i am using different function of it.
    but i am facing the problem to retrive the the multiple entry.
    like in my example i have two entry of the ' po number '
    & i am using the function
    dbms_xmldom.item(l_nodelist, 0)
    i which i have to pass index no.
    & through this i am getting only single entry according to the index no.
    Example on which i am working is
    declare
    l_xml_data CLOB;
    l_xml_doc dbms_xmldom.domdocument;
    l_nodelist dbms_xmldom.DOMNodeList;
    l_node dbms_xmldom.domnode;

    The nodelist is a 0 based array of information and you are only requesting to pull the node info in the first array position. So to get the info in the second array position, you need to use ", 1)". You can also use .getLength and a loop to parse through everything in the node list.

However, I have problem to access resources files (i.e. rdf file) using relative path from my classes. Is there any idea how can I pack, set classpath and use relative path in order to make it works.
    Thanks
    Zoran

    I have solved this problem. The problem was in a way how I have trying to access it. It should be like:
    URL fileURL = this.getClass().getResource("resource/myFile.rdf");

  • How to add XML attribute to an Element using BPEL assign

    I have a request xml to a bpel process that does not contain a attribute.
    After some process I need to create this missing attribute and set a value.
    I tried using the XML fragment in the Assign Activity. But how can I create a attribute?
    This XML node to which I am trying to create an attribute is a very huge node with lot of dynamic typing(xsi:type). I can just re-create the complete xml with required nodes.
    Does any one know how I can create a xml attribute using the BPEL assign? I do not want to use the Java code in my process.
    Thanks.

    I'm bit confused about what exact problem you are facing with attributes.
    You can check accessing XML attributes in BPEL Assign @ http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12483_01/integrate.1013/b28981/manipdoc.htm#BABIHDHI from the page http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12483_01/integrate.1013/b28981/manipdoc.htm.
    I suppose your source input has no attributes and destination has to be an xml with attribute of type xsi:type. You can use the assign activity as mentioned in above document to assign your type structure to type attribute.

    Have a look at the
    XmlDocument class. Read the
    documentation (it's all written there for us all). If you'll have implementation questions, feel free to ask again. At the moment, I can't see what you've already tried and what's not working.

  • Help-I can't add debug symbol into my .o using ctfconvert.

    Hello,
    Who knows how to use ctfconvert/ctfmerge?
    I did as below, but failed.
    #gcc -D_KERNEL -c dummy.c
    #ctfconvert -g -l LB dummy.o
    and I got the message:
    ERROR:ctfconvert:dummy.o doesn't have type data to convert
    removing dummy.o
    Then I did like this, it's no use either.
    #gcc -D_KERNEL -c -g dummy.c
    #ctfconvert -g -l LBL dummy.o
    and I got the messageF
    ERROR:ctfconvert:GCC-generated stabs are unsupported. Use DWAF instead.
    removing dummy.o
    Is there something wrong?

    Did you try using the Sun Studio compiler instead?
    Cheers,
    R.
