I'm really struggling to work out how to add a different URL
to each of my buttons. See the attached. Any help
appreciated.

click on each of the menu clips and open up the actions
panel, all the actions for the buttons are stored there. see
LINK
and test.

I copied the wrong code, it works and loads the feed but I have a number of buttons in the main menu and I want to be able to load a different rss feed for each button?

How to set different urls for logoff button for different user groups

HI All,
We have two different set of users in our company .when one user group clicks on the logoff button in masthead we want to redirect them to for example www.google.com and for the other group we want to redirect to www.gmail.com.
How can we acheive this particular requirement

For the two user groups maintain two different desktops, two/same themes and frame work.change the headeriview jsp in masthead par file to Google and save it as masthead1 and another one with gmail as masthead2 then create iviews with that par file and assign them to different groups and make invisible the default masthead iview.then the users get the logoff based on group you can get some wikis on changing log off or redirecting log off, check these threads

Multiple buttons on a single slide each connecting to a different url

Using a trial version of Captivate 7. I have a handful of slides where the customer wants to open different forms via url. I tried using a button for each link, inserting the url and using the "enter" key for each of the multiple buttons. Works fine with the mouse but for 508 folks who tab to the URL and hit the enter key ......... I get many instances where the incorrect url is activated. Is there a way around this without assicning a different shortcut key for buttons where thare are more than one on a single slide? Thanks

For #2, itunes doesn't have the capability to monitor folders for new content. You'll need to get something like the free program 'itunes folder watch'.

Problems adding url link to buttons in action Script 3

each time I added it link 1 to the button on file i get these error messages-
1046: Type was not found or was not a compile-time constant: link1.
1180: Call to a possibly undefined method link1.

The way you had your code originally would be correct...

The 1046 error is indicating it doesn't recognize the link1 class. So the first thing you need to make sure of is that you have assigned the link1 class designation to whatever symbol that is in the library.

Hyperlinks from my MSWord files suddenly don't work because "/FirefoxHTML\Shell\Open\Command" has somehow been added to the end of each URL.

When I click to open the hyperlink in my Word file, the message I get in Firefox is "The requested URL /submissions.htmlFirefoxHTML\Shell\Open\Command was not found on this server." When I delete that portion of the URL, the website opens fine. What can I do to make the hyperlinks work properly?

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried it, but it didn't work. The link information is written correctly on the MSWord page. But when I click on it and the Firefox tab opens, the page can't be found because "FirefoxHTML\Shell\Open\Command" has been added to the end of each URL. Might it help if I reset Firefox?

3 same buttons & 3 different frames, but each frame must have it's own actionscript?

Here is my issue. I have 3 frames and 3 buttons. Each button takes you to their respected frame. However, I noticed that I cannot have 1 key frame of actionsript read the same on those 3 frames. Why? because if I jump from frame 1 to frame 2 or 3, then I cannot jump back. Instead, each frame has to have it's own actionscript. The only thing that would change is the method name. I find it tedious. Is that how it is? This almost felt seem like it would be less tedious but even for 3 frames, I have to change each method name as I build more frames to navigate to. Check my example below:

You should not need to have code in all three frames. The first bit of code you show should suffice under normal circumstances. If you have the code on a layer that has only one keyframe and the buttons on a layer that only has one keyframe, then the buttons will remain working. It is only when you create new instances (keyframes) of the buttons that you need to assign new event listeners for them, but even then the same event handler functions can be shared for all of them as long as that actions layer extends the length needed for all the buttons.

Use the Caption metadata to add slide text then click the ABC icon in the slideshow module, followed by clicking the up/down icon, then choose Edit. Insert the Caption option from the IPTC Data box.

Toolbars in the report view take a lot of the screen space as each button takes a line

I created a report which looks fine in the BIDs but as soon as I upload it to the Report server and open it with the IE the toolbars take much of the screen space as each button (Export, Refresh and save) take a line. how can I change the configuration so
that all buttons will appear in one line (or will not appear at all)?
I'm sure it is something to configure in the server side as in whichever IE I open the report, from different computers, I always get it the same

I would ask the following questions to verify the issue:
1. Does the issue happen on all the reports?
2. Does the issue persist if you open it in the other web browsers?
2. What’s the version of your Reporting Service and Internet Explorer?
Please post the image of the issue, so we can understand the problem in more details.
You can use &rc:Toolbar=false parameter to hide the toolbar in the Report Server.

I publish identical podcasts under different URLs. How can I combine them into one?

Over the years, my URL has changed a couple of times. I didn't know (until recently) how to notify iTunes that the podcast location and URL had changed. So, now after a number of years, I have three identical podcasts, each with different a different URL and a different list of subscribers. I have them pointing to the same source file now, but I would love to combine the podcasts into one so that the subscribers from each are merged together and they don't show up as three possible subscriptions in iTunes. Is this possible?

You can't merge them: all you can do is to ask to have two of them deleted, and of course if you do that you will lose any ratings. However existing subscribers should all be using the same feed if the three Store pages are all using the same feed, and so removing two of them won't have any effect on subscribers.

When you explain why you want each one of the two you choose removed, specifically say that the same feed is in use in three places, so you can't use the 'itunes:block' tag (because this would block all three).

How can I send to a different URL link than what the text states in Acrobat?

I know how to create URL links in my document using Acrobat but
How can I create a link that goes to a different URL desintation other than the one the text states?
For example
the text states
www.aaaaa.com
and I want it to state this,
but I want the link to direct to
www.aaaaa.com/abcdefghijkl
I dont want to have to create a link object, I want it to stay as text?
Is this even possible?
Any advise?

You might have a 3rd party plugin that isn't compatible with Safari 4.0.4. Go here for help...

If you are using a USB hub, try disconnecting and restarting with just your keyboard and mouse connected.
From the Safari Menu Bar, click Safari / Empty Cache. When you are done with that...

It contains fixes that might help. Then repair disk permissions.
Quit any open applications/programs. Launch Disk Utility. (Applications/Utilities) Select MacintoshHD in the panel on the left, select the FirstAid tab. Click: Repair Disk Permissions. When it's finished from the Menu Bar, Quit Disk Utility and restart your Mac. If you see a long list of "messages" in the permissions window, it's ok. That can be ignored. As long as you see, "Permissions Repair Complete" when it's finished... you're done. Quit Disk Utility and restart your Mac.

How to configure different listener for each database in 11gR2 RAC

Current Prod Setup :
11gR2 (11.2..0.2) RAC on RHEL 5.5 with 3 SCAN Listeners on default 1521 port.
Having 4 databases which are using SCAN-IP and listening on default port only.
As per policy, we have to create separate listeners (on different port) for each database.
like,
DB1 - 1522
DB2 - 1523
DB3 - 1524
DB4 - 1525
Even If I configure 4 listeners using NETCA, how my failover & load balancing will happen using SCAN & Newly Created Listeners ???

Actually different ports for different databases are required to have separation of duties. Once Firewall enabled betwen Client & DB Server only privileged users would have access to particular database.
