Hi to all experts i have file as below i need to added it based on wdate for each pernr how to do it.
pernr wdate hours
123 12/01/2010 12
123 12/02/2010 13
124 12/01/2010 13
123 12/01/2010 10
need to sum based pernr and wdate
it should come as
123 12/01/2010 22
123 12/02/2010 13
124 12/01/2010 10

Hi Abdul,
Sort your table by pernr wdate.These 2 fields should be your left most
then try with on change of wdate
or at end of WDATE
the other direct sol will be before inserting into final check whether entry already found? if yes then add and modify
otherwise insert it.

You can do this by writing a simple end routine in your transformation rules.It is just an conditional statement.
In that statement write
If <RESULT_FIELDS>CALDAY EQ 20041101-99991231 and If <RESULT_FIELDS>Sales Org NE AM01
<write the statements which populate the fields>
endif.
In the same way you can write the code.

Does adding a field to a table affect a data block based on the table?

If I make a change to a table like adding a field does it affect data data blocks based on the table?

The other place I have seen where adding a new column to a table causes problems is when a programmer codes: Select * from table.
If that is coded in a form, the form will need to be recompiled before it will work properly.

I am unable to make the following scenario work.
I have a form which is called from a report. The report passes in an ID parameter. This form field then displays the text associated with this ID because it has a LOV attached to it.
However, the user is able to select other values from the LOV, which then renders the form useless.
Is there a way of:
- disabling the LOV?
- adding a separate text field to the form where I can display the value I want with no LOV?

As part of my attempts to make this work, I added a field to a form, with the intention of passing a value into it using the link to the form. But the field does not appear in the list of parameters available to the link.

Populating the G/L account field based on Material in the SC

HI aLL,
We are runnin on SRM 4.0 (classic).I have a reqt wherein the G/L account which comes in the "Cost assignment details" should be populated at run time (when items are added to SC) based on the material no/Product ID....
I found out a BADI...BBP_DETERMINE_ACCT which is used to determine the G/L account but not sure at whci point this BADI is triggered...i inserted a poup message in a sample implementatiuon of this BADI..but it doesnt show me the popup message when i click on the "ADD TO SHOPPING CART" button on teh SC creatio screen wheerin i can test that this is the BADI which i s called at teh time items are added to teh SC and will populate the G/L account field with teh proper value form teh backend.
Also for the G/L account value for the Material,is there any std table which stores the link between product/valuation class and G/l account in SRM itself so that my RFC call to teh backend is saved in this BADI implementation??

Not sure if I understood you right. I've implemented this BAdI BBP_DETERMINE_ACCT and it works fine so far. I can add an item to the SC and then go to the item details to see the accounting data. There the G/L account corresponds to the one that was determined at run time by the BAdI implementation.
The standard table in R/3 backend is T030. For described requirements (no known material id) you have to specify a product category. Valuation classes can be assigned to product categories in table T023 (in R/3 backend as well).
Unfortunately the SRM standards do not take into account the standard account determination as it is known and working in R/3 systems. For this you'll have to implement the BAdI BBP_DETERMINE_ACCT.

Adding existing field to a UI Search and Modifying UI Query

Hello.
I want to add the "central archiving flag" to the Contact search BP_CONT_SEARCH/Search. I've added the field into the SEARCH node via BSP_WD wizard but the field created does not appear as available in the Search because it is not into the context structure. ¿Is there any solution to this? ¿I must append a new field to the standard structure?
Although I get the "archiving flag" available I think I will need to modify the selection query ¿Is that possible? If it's possible ¿How can I do it?
I have another problem with a result field of another search for activities (BT126S_APPT/ApptSR). I would like to know how can I reach the selection ( based on BOL result model BTQRAct ) and how can I modify that selection/quety.

You can create a copy of the standard design layer, add your field and define it as dropdown listbox 0 coding is required
Otherwise you will need to code in the GET_V method and the GET_P, there's a lot of information about this if you have a little of patience to search
If fits your requirement (dropdown listbox) I would go for the design layer approach, of course there's info about this through scn too

Adding custom fields to Embedded Search

Hi All,
I have read the post [here|How to add custom fields to Embedded Search; about adding custom fields to Embedded Search. I am looking to add Employee Subgroup for use in Talent Management (specifically the STVN SuccessionPlanning component) and wanted to know if anyone can expand on the instructions in the link to add this field.
It appears to be part of the HRTMC_PERSON search object connector already and while I've done some IMG configuration the field is showing in SuccessionPlanning, but not displaying any data.
Additionally, I'd be interested in any tips to add information that is not from PA0002 should it be required in the future.

I am assuming here that your search request fields are based on HRTCM_CENTRALPERSON search template. To enable your search to work on employee subgroup please do the following
1) Check if the HRTMC_PERSON Template extracts the data from Infotype 0001 via SPRO node 'Define Search Models and Change Pointer' Extraction Class is 'CL_HRTMC_SEARCH_READ_PA_INFTY'.
2) Via ESH_COCKPIT, goto Template Modeler and select your custom Software Component and press Edit. Goto roadmap step 5 - Define Requests - where all search request fields are defined. Its using these fields Talent search works.
3) Select the search request e.g. 'SAP_TALENT_NAKISA', it would then show list searchable attributes in below table. Using 'Add' button select path for PERSK so that it can searched.
It would look like this once selected
OBJID(REL_CP_P)->HRTMC_REL_CP_P_209.REL_CP_P(REL_CP)->HRTMC_PERSON.OBJID->HRTMC_PERSON.ORG_ASSIGNMENT
4) In step SPRO 'Define Search Requests and Search Field Names' , define Employee subgroup field with AliasSearchField = PERSK since thats what is defined in roadmap step 5.

Dynamically enable a field based on a selected table row

Hi everyone.
I'm getting really confused right now, please show me the right way. My approach may be, and probably is, wrong since I am self learning this and all I have is an ASP.NET background.
I have a page with a table in it. I've created a DataControl for a collection I've made and mapped it to the table. I added a column that shows an "edit" button. On it's click, I open a popup that shows the selected row's data. Naviguation controls are also present on the popup.
This is working fine.
My problem comes in the popup. Each row has multiples fields. These fields, shown on the popup, need to dynamically be enable/disable. To toggle those field, the only way I can see right now is to have a function that takes into parameter the rowId and the fieldName. Based on those two fields, I can get the necessary information to know if I need to enable or disable the control.
What I was aiming for, but then again I totally failed, was to have that function called on the "enabled" EL Expression, returning a Boolean.
Now that this has been said, can someone guide my on how to dynamically enable/disable each field based on the selected row.

In EOImpl .. override isAttributeUpdateable(int i) method eg:

Changing a field based on another field

hi one and all
i am looking for a way to change a field based on another field. if i have item 2 and item 8 on the page and item 8 needs to be required based on item 2 based on a requirement, how would this be done.
ex if item 2 has a PO inputed, when it is moved off the field, item 8 should be changed from required false to required true. i have tried in both the process request and process form request with no luck
any suggestions.

Adding custom fields to Article Master (MM41/MM42)

Hi ,
I have a requirement of adding custom fields to Basic data of Article creation in MM41 . I appended the fields to
MARA table using Append structure . I followed the steps given in note 44410 . But i am unable to find an EXIT/BADI
/ENHANCEMENT to populate the values of custom fields which get triggered during MM41/MM42 .
But the Exit EXIT_SAPLMGMU_001 gets triggered only during MM01/MM02 . Kindly guide me to solve this .

required in the Article Master. This is because the existing fields in
the Article master are not adequate to capture the data.
We have referred the SAP Note 925424 (Table MAW1) and 44410 (MARA) for
this.
Based on the above note 44410, we have added fields in MARA table,
since Manufacturing
activities are envisaged in future instead of proceeding with 925424.
Whether, MAW1 (925424) also to be considered?
Since this is very critical requirement from client, we cannot avoid
and do not have any
alternate solution.
These fields will be used in reports and pricing in sales &
distribution.
Apart from this, are there any other SAP notes to be referred?
Is there any restrictions there in length for fields to be used in MARA table .
By referring note 44410 , i added 20 fields in MARA table, in which some 4 fields are more than 40 characters .
All custom fields are updated in MM41 and MM42 .
Shall i proceed by this approach .Kindly guide me on this .

We have a requirement to update WBS Element for Planning related Data. So have added custom field(WBS Element) in structure CI_FAGLFLEX04.
The field is visible when I open FAGLFLEXP table, but when I post data The custom field (WBS Element) is not being updated. Could you please let me know the process to update this field?

However, the most important is: a) Is it really necessary to change the standard? b) There could be a Z table containing the new information and referencing FAGLFLEXP? c) What is the transaction that will keep the data? It has Exit´s for what you need?

Actually your approach may be wrong, first as an ABAPer should ask to functional team, which transaction and where to insert the fields, it could be header or item level(I am saying example)
Based on tcode, you need to enhance the table level as well as the screen exit/BADI we need to pass screen to internal programming structure. the structure type will be table type of FAGLFLEXP.

Adding New Field and Passing Values Between Screens

In the Oracle Projects Create Project screen, I've been asked to add a new LOV for Organization (LOV copied from a subsequent page) - and then pass the selected value to the next page and default in the value based on the selection on the first page.
I understand I'll be modifying the first page's XML to add the new LOV, but how can I get the second page to recognize the value selected on the first page? Do I need to pass this as a parameter?

What is the recommended extension path in a scenario like the one I describe above (adding a field to a seeded page and trying to pass it to the second page)?

Adding custom fields to FD32

Hi All,
I need to add 4 new fields to "Status" screen of FD32 transaction. I cannot use the already existing standard fields so I need to add custom fields. I have searched the forum and found the following enhancement and BADI :

FI_DUZI_ROUND_CML
I tried to implement them but did not achieve the results that I wanted.
There are so many forums on this topic but none of them had an actual solution.
Did any had success adding custom fields to FD32? If yes, could you please let me know the solution.

Adding SERVICE_ORG_RESP_SHORT field to Condition Table

Dear Experts!
We want to use the SERVICE_ORG_RESP_SHORT field in our Condition Table to define product Pricing. The problem is it doesn't exist in a Field Catalog (SPRO -> CRM -> Master Data -> Conditions and Condition Technique -> Condition Technique: Basics -> Create Field Catalog).
We see two possible ways of dealing with this issue:
1) Adding SERVICE_ORG_RESP_SHORT field into Global Field Catalog (SPRO -> CRM -> Master Data Conditions and Condition Technique -> Condition Technique: Basics -> System Configuration for Condition Technique -> Set Up Usage -> folders "Global Field Catalog: Fields" and "Global Field Catalog: Data Elements").
2) Using BAdI (SPRO -> CRM -> Basic Functions -> Pricing -> Define Settings for Pricing -> Adopt User-Defined Fields).
Please, tell us, which of these ways is correct?

Hi Alexandr,
the first step mentioned above is required to define the field, so that you can use it to create a conditon table based on it and maintain master data for that condition table. In addition, you should implement the /SAPCND/ROLLNAME BADI for the field.
The second step described above is required to integrate the field for transaction processing, e.g. in a sales or service order. You need to define which order value should get passed to your pricing attribute.

You don't need to eanter in MEPO1317. the moment you anter the Item category service it will Populate the field.
Invoice verification for services is based on the accepted service entry sheet or the services set out in the purchase order.
Since you usually enter into a variety of billing arrangements with your vendors, it is advisable to specify the relevant type of invoice verification in the vendor master record. The indicator is suggested per purchase order item and can be changed if necessary on the PO item detail screen.
You must set the following indicators on the purchasing data screen of the vendor master record:
For Goods-Receipt-Based Invoice Verification: GR-based inv. verif.
For Evaluated Receipt Settlement (ERS): AutoEvalGRSetmt Del.
For Service-Based Invoice Verification: Srv.-based inv. ver.
