Adding a tag in replay history

Question

I was trying to make sentences part of a list so I had the
history panel displayed and was using the keyboard in the design
section (being in split mode). I was on a list item and pressed
down then Start Of Line (SOL), End Of Line (EOL), used contextual
menu button to choose quick tag editor > LI ending up with "Wrap
Tag : <li>" in the history. I clicked the down arrow then
shift-clicked wrap tag and clicked replay but the only thing it did
was to select the whole next sentence ...
Am I doing something wrong ? Should I use another way to make
a LI ?

I think you would be able to do this with a find and replace
option using
regular expressions. Are you adept at formulating a regular
expression
search? Unfortunately, I am not but there are others here who
are quite
good.
