Adding category in types of Downtime in Resources in APO.any setting?

Adding category in types of Downtime in Resources in APO.
Three categories exist under downtime tab in resources like planned downtime,resource inactive and pm order.Iwant to add one more category based on some other functionality.
Is there any SPRO or other configuration setting through which I can do this?

I dont think there is any setting in SPRO to add the custom type of downtime in resources.I checked the technical details of this field and found that these 3 types are defined in the Domain /SAPAPO/CRES_DOWNTIME_TYPE of Data Element /SAPAPO/CRES_DOWNTIME_TYPE So I think we can not add or change the types in it.

Adding pricing condition type while complaint creation

Hi,
I want to add condition type , whille calim creation. I have written the Zpgm using crm_ordwer_maintian , we can do that.
But the problem is I need to put in some BADI, i tried order_Save and pricing_I badi.
But it gives dump 'maintian' bapi in the order_Save. I treid with 'multi_ow' but its not adding the condition type.
Please help me , where I need to put this code ?

Relation between Account assignment category & Document type of PR

Hi,
For PR doc type "CP" -Capital PR, we have created the "Y" as accout assignment category,i.e currently system is allowing to make the PR for doc type for CP with Y as a accout assignment category.
Now our requirement is that, system should allow to make the PR for caital items with Doc type "CP" with " A" &" U" as a account assigment categoty.
I want to know where the relationship between account assigment category & Doc type is maintained?
Is it in Configuration or some user exist is used?

Hi
There is no direct relation between doc type & Acc *** category. There is an indicator to control if you want to use Acco assingment or not. ( No acc assignment indicator in Document type setting)
Document typr is linked with Item category in Customizing
IMG>MM>PR>DOc type
Inturn Item category is linked with Acc *** categories.
IMG>MM>Acc ***> Link item cata & acc *** cat

Please try this:
TR: SPRO> IMG> Customer Relationship Management > Transactions> Basic Settings --> Define Item categories --> chose "CRM Text Item" in Item object type column.

Apple have not announced any such plans. It was the same during the whole MobileMe period from 2008 - 2012, so it doesn't seem to be a high priority issue for Apple.

MRP type field in Product view of APO

Dear Experts,
I am developing a querry based report on product master of APO for reconcillation purpose.
I couldnt find field MRP type in product master (/sapapo/mat1) also couldnt track any table which will report MRP type to me.
Could you please help me in this.

Hi Sachin,
You will not find MRP type in APO system, the reason is only specific MRP type have flexibility to plan in APO, that means SAP standard.
MRP type X0 means external planning - APO system.

Mass Maintenance of Resource in APO

Hi,
I need to make changes in a number of resource in APO at a time. Do we have a mass maintenance process in APO to do that. I need to be able to chnge the Capacity Variants.
Is there a way if i can put that in a batch job in the background.

Hi, Thilina66. You say you have entered the country code but still cannot make international calls. I suppose you are adding the international access code before the country code. This internaltional access code (011 in the US, 00 in Europe, etc.) can be substituted by adding a + sign before the country code.
For example, to call a number in the UK from the US you have to dial:
011 44 7540 267898
or
+44 7540 267898
To call a number in the US from the UK you have to dial:
00 1 212 456 1470
or
+1 212 456 1470
Please check that the contact number in your address book is correctly written if you are dialing directly from the address book or that you enter the correct numbers in the keyboard if you are dialing from the keyboard.

According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to find out if a certain type of document is available inside a document-set.
Per my knowleadge, there is no out of the box way to accomplish this with SharePoint Designer Workflow.
To find the content type inside a document-set, there are two methods:
First, open a document set, click “New Document” option, then you can find the available content type in the document set.
Second, open the document set content type, open Document Set Settings Page, then you can see the available content type.

Deleting a resource from APO

Hi All,
We want to delete a resource from APO. Can some one throw light on this how to ahead with deletion. I would like to ask are there any prerequisites that are to be modified like deletion from PPM etc..

if you go to transaction WUF and enter your resource name you can get the list of objects the resource is being linked to ....
you might need to delete them (in the case of transaction data) or delink them (in the case of PDS you want to retain with an other resource for example)
once you do this, you should be able to delete the resource from the transaction /SAPAPO/RES01
if you have a R3 connection and its in a CIF model ensure that is deactivated so it does not appear again

Sales Order creation of adding new condition type to Item

Hi Expert,
The sales order has been created and need to add new condition type (Z601) to the first item(10). While adding the condition I am getting warning message like
"Item 000030 exists already; the entry will be ignored".
Where item 030 will be the last item.
I have cheked but it's a standard report SAPFV45P, we can't modify. Please let me know can we set any field in the sales order so that we wont be getting this message.

If you would like to add the Condition Type automatically for a specific Item based on some condition (Lets say, Item Category), then you can code a Pricing Routine in VOFM Transaction and it will be automatically assigned.

I need to add a manual condition type and price value at billplan line item level in a service contract. Could anyone please let me know any way of adding it after the service contract has already been created?

You need to first create the Condition type which can take manual entries or the manual entries are prefered.
Then add the Condition type to the pricing procedure being determined in service contract.
Once done when you go to edit mode in conditions tab you shoudl be able to add the above condition types.

Ultra Search Indexer: Adding 'alien' document types.

The way the Ultra Search indexer finds src material will not work in my situation. While I may be able to give it databases to crawl, it cannot crawl our content, so the way that you tell the indexer about 'alien' document types by adding custom code to return lists of URLs so the indexer can read the src documents won't work in my scenario.
I want to know what the Ultra Search application does special when indexing documents?
Is there a description so I can reproduce using Oracle Text and perhaps point the Ultra Search querying component against my manufactured repository and have it work?

currently the "kind is document" also brings up .jpgs and .wavs which I dont want, (or consider documents).
