Adding Classes while execution of program (at runtime)

Hi,
Is it possible to add the classes (jars) at runtime on same JVM?

classes are no jars. jars are a set of classes stored in one 'file'. if the jar is in the classpath it should be no problem to load the class via Classloader.
if the jars get loaded dynamically you'll habe to extend the classpath to the jar file programatically.

1) TCD for testing transactions, especially those that do not use controls
2)TCD has the following advantages
3)It has a built in screen simulation for standard screen element
4) No GUI is required for playback
5) It is suitable for load testing
6) The TCD command has the same limitations as the CATT function of the same name. The flow of data to and from controls, as well as screen input values, are recorded. When the test script runs, the controls are deactivated and the user's actions are simulated by reading the recorded data flows

How to execute an external java program using Runtime class?
I have used ,

But it throws a runtime IOException error:2 or error:123.

Calling a method from another class while in a seperate class

Hello
I am currently TRYING to proramme a simple alarm clock program, The way it has had to be set out is that there are two classes one is called ClockDisplay which is just the clock and the one i have had to create is called AlarmDisplay
I am trying to write code so that when the String alarmdisplayString(this is located in the alarm class which i am typing this code) is the same as String displayString the system will print out something like "Beep wake up" So far i have this code but i cannot figue out what to put to reference the method from the ClockDisplay class while codingi n the AlarmDisplay class

I'm quite new in Java. I have an application with GUI. When I'm using Eclipse version 3.4.0 to run the application, all it is working perfect.
But after I generate the jar from Eclipse, using the manifest file option from there and added the ProjectGUI to it, where is the main class, and try to run from the command line I receive the next error:

I run this application on a SLAX system with jdk6 update 7.
I tried to generate the jar file even from the command line using the manifest file option but I still receive the same error.

Launch many java programs at runtime

Hi i got one question.
i have a list of java program ina file.
i read this file and get each program names.
i would like to launch all java programs at Runtime from my main Java application.

Getting the error " [java] Problem invoking WLST - java.lang.RuntimeException: Could not find the OffLine WLST class " while building the O2A 2.1.0 PIP. I am using the Design Studio 4.3.2 for building the O2A 2.1.0 PIP. Please let me know how to resolve this issue. Here I am enclosing the log file .

We have basically the same issue when we try to create the interpreter using the embedded method..
I was able to use the interpreter embedded in a java client as long as the weblogic jars were located in a weblogic install if I tried to use them from a maven repository no luck at all...
All of this worked easily in 9.2 now in 10.3 it seems more error prone and less documented.
I have seen close to a 100 posts on issues related to this so is there a document which outlines specifics....
We / I have used weblogic now for almost 10 years and moving from 8.1 to 9.2 was painful and we expected the move from 9.2 to 10.3 not to be soo bad but its proving to be as painful if not more painful than moving to 9.2. We seem to spend a good bit of our time working around issues in the next new release that were not in the previous one..
Any help would be appreciated I think we will open a support case but even that is more painful...

PS: We confirmed that all jars in the startweblogic classpath were in the startup. The server we have the embedded wlst instance is a managed server and we are using the component in a war... Are there any restrictions which we are unaware of.

While execution of IRPT Page for a QM dev. How to Pass multiple and single values to an Exacute query. I am currently usung XML to pass values but it is not giving the correct results like working fine for single entries but not for multiple ones.

I am getting the above error when trying to install the 1.3 JRE (installed with the 1.3 plug in which I need). As part of my development I have been installing and uninstalling the JRE multiple times. Then, I got the above error when trying to install it, and now it appears to be installed but I cannot uninstall it. When I try to uninstall it, it just remains, and when I try to install it again I get the above error. I have tried cleaning up all javasoft registry entries, but it doesnt seem to have helped. Can anyone help me either completely uninstall the JRE so I can do a clean install or help me get rid of the error above when I install. Is there some registry entries I should be looking at? Anything else? this is quite urgent as I need to test my applet with the plugin installed and not installed - and I currently cant uninstall it. Any ideas?

I am getting this same error message when trying to upgrade from 1.3.1_03 to 1.3.1_19.
I have multiple versions of jre's and jdks on my machine.
Anyone else seen this problem or know how to resolve it.

Error while setting up Java 2 Runtime Edition 1.3.1_12

I downloaded and tried to install it, but i get the following error:
"Errror while Registering the Java 2 Runtime Environment Registry keys."
Then when i press OK, it says Installation Completed OK
I wonder if everything is not OK
Could somebody explain what is going on?

thanks a bunch. Actually I did not realize that the J2EE SDK had the server inside it. I was trying to install the Sun Server inspite of that.
I started the server without any problem after running
j2ee -verbose
