Adding Columns to the matrix in SAP B1 user form using Visual studio 2010

Hi,
Using Visual studio 2010, I have created a SAP B1 user form( b1f ) with one matrix.Matrix is having 5 columns. Its working properly. Later, I want to add few more columns. Then I added columns to the matrix as I have created columns initially. But, it does not saves.
i.e, Whenever I run, In B1 I could see only old columns. Newly created columns are not showing.So, I closed the .net project and opened again. Created columns are not showing in visual studio b1f itself. So, I created again and saved. But, its not saving.I tried it many times.
What I am missing?

Hi Parvatha,
Are you using B1 Studio? Anyway try to clean the solution first then rebuild it. This would re-copy files to the output directory, that contain your changes.

I am adding the columns in an existing matrix at runtime in page load.
I can able to add but how to give the header text for the columns added?
I tried with the following code,
oMatrix.Columns.Item("ItemMake").Title = "Make";
but it gives the error as,
"property or indexer 'SAPbouiCOM.IColumn.Title' cannot be assigned to -- it is read only"
and also i want the added column to be displayed in the first position.

Hi,
Then i recommend u to create a UDF in the marketing document section. So that in the PO matrix u can get a new col. And for creating the UDF u can do it in SAP UI using.. Tools->Customization Tools->User defined Fields management or u can also do it in code C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One SDK\Samples\COM DI\VB.NET\02.MetaDataOperations Check that sample for code.

how can i create a document library with a managed metadata column and lookup column .
what should be the type for managed metadata column ? is it "Taxonomy", if yes how can i enter the term set values which should be populated by default.
also would like to know how to refer the parent list / column[field] in the loopkup field

CRVS2010 Beta - How do you hide the Group Tree for Visual Studio 2010

Would anyone know how to hide the group tree in the Crystal Reports viewer for Visual Studio 2010. I have tried
DisplayGroupTree="False" and found the property doesn't exist in the new version for VS 2010. I have search in the designer options and found nothing. Note this report is for ASP.net.

How to get the WSDL file to consume a WS from Visual Studio

Hi gurus:
I've created a receiver SOAP adapter in my XI system that could be invoked by:
http://xiserver:50000/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=:Openlab_Desarollo:CanalComunicaciones_SOAP"
It is working fine. Now I must send the WSDL file to an external enterprise so they can invoke the XI web service. Thay are using Visual Studio.
But, how could I obtain or generate the WSDL file?

Hi,
In ID, choose "Define Webservice" in Tools.
There you can provide the URl that you have given here, instead of using proposed URL.
You will get the WSDL that you can consume in Visual studio.

What I do:
1 - A column of my matrix will have the option to click on the "tab" key or "enter" and open the "Item List" in the search mode.
2 - When you select a record, is filled in the fields of my Matrix according to the selected record.
3 - In short, I want to implement a column of the matrix field of research in a SAP table. And that when you select me to capture the data from this record for the Matrix.

I'm actually trying to find the date i visited a site. adding columns allow the order to be sorted but not show a date. Please tell me it there's a way to see the date. the sidebar no longer has the option for date. the most recent only shows the time.

If you only see the time then that would mean that you see an entry of the current day (today).
History items from past days should have the date as well in the Most Recent Visit column.
You should be able to see this changing if you open the last 7 days folder and scroll down.

Sap business one studio 9.0 for microsoft visual studio 2010

Hi Experts,
After added a new project, Sap business one 9.0 Add-on Project, that project can't be loaded in Visual Studio 2010.
When try to re-load the project in the Solution Explorer, the project stays as (unavailable), and the next line says, The project file was unloaded.
I'm using :
- Windows 7 professionnel 64 bits. (With no virtual machine)
- Sap business one studio for Microsoft studio 32 bits. (Visual Studio 2010)
- Sap business one studio 32 bits. (PL12)
I've already tried to :
- Reload the project in the contextual menu.
- Run Visual Studio as Administrator.
So VisualStudio, B1, DI-API and SBO Studio are all on the same version. (32 bits)
[I've installed before B1 64 bits, but it did't work with visual studio 2010, because visual studio 2010 is available just in 32 bit version. so i uninstalled everything]
NB : I'm still in evaluation period of SAP Businness one 9.0.
Can u please help me to solve this problem.

How to set condition for CFL. I am using SAP 9.0 Patch Level 12, Visual Studio 2010. I could find the event, ChooseFromListBefore event. I tried coding as below,but its not working:Got error like "Public member 'GetConditions' on type 'SBOItemEventArgClass' not found."

The conditions should get from the CFL object it self, not the CFL Event object.

I was trying to create lists, content type and site columns through Visual Studio 2010. But I could not figure out how to add site column? What item do I need to add for this and what kind of coding is to be done?

Try this
1. Create a Empty project in Visual studio.
2.The Empty SharePoint Project template does not include any Features in the Features folder. To add a new Feature to this project, right -click the Features folder, and click Add Feature. This adds a new Feature component to the folder; double – click the
Feature1 icon in Solution Explorer to modify the Feature ’ s
metadata using the Feature designer. The Title and Description values appear on the Features pages in Site settings. It is a good idea to make these values
descriptive so that administrators will know what they are adding to the site when they activate the feature.
The feature ’ s scope determines where the feature can be activated within SharePoint. Please Note – Certain components, such as site columns, content types, Master pages, and Page Layouts, are installed at the site collection level and made available to all
sites within the collection. These components require that the scope for the feature be set to “ Site. ”
3. Next, add a new item to the project (Right – click project name ➪ Add ➪ New Item) and select the Empty Element template from the Add New Item dialog box.
The Empty Element template is an XML fi le where you can enter CAML Field definitions.
Following is what you will add in your elements.xml file –

Problem when adding ABAP custom webservice with Visual Studio 2010

Hi All,
After creating a webservice for a custom RFC function developed in a ECC6.0 SAP machine, I tried to add it to a Visual Studio 2010 windows aplication (through a web reference connection).
The sequence I've done is:
- Create RFC in ABAP, with testing ok
- Create a WEBSERVICE with the ABAP editor
- Configured the webservice with SICF with:
     Procedure: Standard
     Logon data: standard R3 user
     Security requirement: Standard
     Authentication: Standard SAP User
Then, in SOAMANAGER I copied the webservice URL and tried to add it to Visual Studio 2010, but it keeps asking me the user and password. I try to supply the R3 username and password but if fails.
Why is ECC6.0 asking the user and passord if I've defined a SAP user for the login process?
Is there any way to disable this?

Hi,
Iam using Bubble event = false in click event but the matrix row
is allow to edit but we cant save the document in Find Mode That is fine.
What is my actual requirement is In find mode matrix Row not allow to enter the data .
For examble In ADD mode i enter the data in Three rows (Item Section - Matrix) and
save the document. Whwn i open the document in find mode the three row is not allow
to editable like the same functionality of PO, sales Order, etc ..

For Visual Composer no need any Front end tools.. you need portal connection.. to configure your visual compoer.. the visla composer it self contain all the items.. just like a Webtemplate..
all the reports.. that web based reports or dash boards we can view through Browser only..
