Adding existent (not custom!) fields to shipping adress in shopping cart

Hey community,
we want to show some more shipping adress fields in the shopping cart (SRM 7.13).
Quite simple, we thought... only the existent fields "NAME_3" and "NAME_4" should be displayed. But we were not able to do that.
We tried the following steps:
- in the WD component /SAPSRM/WDC_UI_DO_SHIPTO view V_DODC_SHIPTO we added the existent attributes NAME_3 and NAME_4 from structure /SAPSRM/S_CLL_SHIPTO to the context node SHIP_TO.
- we added corresponding labels and input fields to the layout and bind them to the context attributes.
But the two new fields are not displayed in the shopping cart. Normally, we have to announce new fields and metadata in SPRO - SAP Supplier Relationship Management - SRM Server - Cross-Application Basic Settings - Extensions and Field Control (Personalization)... to extend the structure of customer enhancement for the shopping cart. But there is no chance to maintain fields for shipping adress, because this is neigther header nor item data. Adding them to the INCL_EWW_PD_ITEM_CST_SC structure will display the fields on the positiondata tab.
Adding fields to the table view "/sapsrm/v_mdfsbc" also doesn't work.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Steffi

Hello Werner,
check in V_DODC_SHIPTO view from /SAPSRM/WDC_UI_DO_SHIPTO Web Dynpro Component if field exists in layout.
In SRM 7.0, 'NAME_3' is not used. Maybe it is the reason of your problem...
Regards.
Laurent.

• Translation for a custom field drop down box in shopping cart

Hi All,
My requirement is to translate the content in the dropdown list to German language which is coming under basic data screen of the shopping cart
The logic behind is a custom field (suggested vendor) has been added a long back which has a search help when you click the find button it taking into a find screen there they created a dropdown box field which list out some values based on the values a set of fields will be displayed such away we can narrow down our searching.
(E.g. searching a vendor based on company code or Search a Vendor based on Plant)
Please suggest me any tables to locate the values or any BADI to fill the content.
Regards
Paul

No you can add the customer fields in the header level also.
Please look at the below structure to add the custom fields.

• Custom field to be displayed in shopping cart header

We are working on SRM 7.0 version.
Note 672960 says that the header fields cannot be displayed for the shopping cart. If

Is this is true for 7.0 as well?

• Adding custom field to BP Adress with AET

Hi experts.
I have to create several custom fields for the BP Adress, and when going through AET it proposes to create them in the BUT000 table, doesn't gives me another option.
As a BP is expected to have several addresses, this values can not be saved in BUT000, which we all know is where resides BP header data, and the BP number is primary key.
I'm not planning to need these fields in the webUI, they are only required for a massive initial load, and I'm using BAPI_BUPA_ADDRESS* function modules to update the address data.
Could you help me with your advice? Should I make an append structure to ADRC? How could that be reflected in the BAPIS structures I'm using to save the data?
Your help will be very appreciated my friends.
Cheers
Marc

HI Marc,
I hope you are right and will work aswell.
Also, i have another suggestion: instead of extending the BAPI, you can update the ADRC values outside of Bapi. meaning...once the BP is created/udated, you will get BP number, with the bp number, BUT020, gives you the address numbers, with the address numbers you can udpate ADRC through FM "addr_update" if it is for Org, "addr_person_update" for person, "addr_cont_pers_update" for contact person.
Hope this helps.
Cheers, Satish

Hello Guys,
We are on SRM_SERVER 550 service pack SAPKIBKT07.
We would like to add custom fields on the shipping notification (ASN) tab in PO.
To do so we had gone through the OSS Note: Note 672960 - User-defined fields 2.
But couldnt find the structure in which the custom fields can be added. More over we are not running on SUS.
Currently we are creating ASN through XI interface. Using Sproxy We had called the function module BBP_DDN_UPDATE to create the ASN.
Do let us know if any details are needed.
Appreciate your help.
Thanks,
Rama

Hi Rama
Please check this out
You can add custom fields in a separate tab in header using the below 2 BADIs.
1. ME_GUI_PO_CUST
2. ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST
For above BADI's create screen ...and assign the screen group and screen no for that implementation....
Please take help of Good Technical ABAP resource
Below example may not be directly relevant but you can work on this guidelines
SPRO u2013 SAP Reference IMG --- Logistics General --- Basic partner u2013 customers -- Control u2013 Adaption of customers own masters data element u2013 prepare modification of customer free enhancement of customer master record
1)Screen group description

4)select (FM_CUSTOMER_ADD) u2013 copy
Implementation name u2013 ZAS1
(description -- cust) u2013 in attribute u2013 (give screen group name)
5)go to interfaces (GET_TAXI_SCREEN) double click on it

Goto layout u2013 design the screen
7)save u2013 activate
then goto transaction : va02
For User Exit's
goto to tcode->status->program name->double click on that,
then goto to-> attribute take the package name and
Goto SMOD tcode ->Utilities->give the package name and F8
then a list of exits will display for that tcode as well as that package.
u can check the table MODSAP
u can check the table MODACT
For BADI's,
1)goto to tcode SE24 give the CL_EXITHANDLER and display and then double click on the GET_INSTANCE
keep Break point at this location 'call method cl_exithandler=>get_class_name_by_interface'
then the tcode it will trigger there and we can debugg there we can find badi'for that tcode and then remove the break point.

• No possible entries exist for this field for Shipping Point

Hi gurus,
I require the Shipping Point to be automatically determined in the Sales Order. Except this is not happening, I then attempt to manually select a Shipping Point in the line item of the Sales Order and receive the following error (in green)
"No possible entries exist for this field"
The Material Master has the Loading Group assigned.
The Sales Order Type has the Shipping Condition assigned (so does the Customer)
The Plant is assigned to the Customers (no CMIR created)
The combination of the three are entered in the 'Shipping Points Determination" table in SPRO with a Proposed Shipping Point AND a Manual Shipping Point.
Except I can not choose either of them as a Shipping Point in a Sales Order.
Anyone have the knowledge to understand why I can not select a Shipping Point?
Thanks

Shipping Point Determination
Shipping points are independent organizational units that are linked to a plant and represent the point of departure or receipt of materials.
Check if shipping point is defined and assigned to plant or not by going to:
IMGEnterprise structureMaintain structureAssignmentLogistics executionAssign shipping point to plant
IMGSDShippingBasic shipping fncsShipping point determination.
The shipping point is determined based on the shipping conditions, which are either entered manually in the sales order or are copied from the customer master record (shipping screen – 01=as soon as possible, 02=standard, 03=collective processing). The shipping point is also determined by the loading group (0001=crane, 0002=forklift, 0003=manual), which is copied from the material master record, and the delivering plant of the line item in the sales order.

• E-Product and Shipping Product in shopping cart not displaying shipping options. What is the fix?

Found this work around from www.bcgurus.com. Thanks guys!
"You can give your downloads a weight of 0.01 and the shipped items at 1, then on your shipping options give a weight limitation of 1 to 800. Then as long as the items in the shopping cart are above one pound, but under 800 pounds you have shipping. If it is just the media downloads there will be no shipping." - Chad Smith
BC is working on fixing this bug I think!

This doesn't seem to address the fact that downloadable items should have no shipping cost. If you use total shopping cart value to determine shipping cost, this is what happens:
* You have a shipping fee of $5 for all orders between $0-50 and a shipping fee of $10 for all orders between $50.01-100
* You add $45 worth of socks and a $10 ePaper download to your cart
* BC charges you $10 for shipping, even though you're not shipping the ePaper
This is a very common scenario for our clients. We really need a "Shipping Never Applies" setting for products, just like we have a "Tax Never Applies" setting.
