Adding exit/quit button to toolbar

Is there a way to add a exit/quit button to the Mail Toolbar?

OK you have alt+f4, the two buttons on the titlebar (X and the left-hand icon) which can all do this. Maybe ctrl+w too.
And '''File|Exit''' via the menu.
And you want another method on top of all these?
I suggest you go to '''Tools|Add-ons''' and search for one. I know I've found one there before.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/exit-button-thunderbird/?src=ss for instance.

  • Adding A Quit Button to the Last Slide

    Hi all,
    One of the most requested features on our first Breeze
    project was a "quit" button. The easiest way to do so in an HTML
    environment is to use the command
    javascript: window.close();
    Type this into the address bar on your browser, and hit
    return. Isn't that neat?
    Okay, the scripting language in Flash (Actionscript) can
    simulate typing something in the address bar with the command
    getURL ("javascript: window.close();");
    ...all we have to do is add that actionscript to the
    onRelease event handler for a button in Flash. Then, add the button
    to your PowerPoint before you use Presenter, and when the student
    clicks it... voila!
    This same trick can be used to replace that MacroDobe©
    logo in the Breeze player. This time, when the user clicks the
    button, we'll use javascript to pop up an alert box with a clever
    message:
    getURL ("javascript: alert('Aren't we clever?');";
    This button has to be small, around 50 x 29 pixels, to
    properly replace the logo. To actually replace it, you need to
    publish your presentation to the hard drive like normal. Next, find
    the folder you published to, and place a copy of your "button.swf"
    file in the "data" subfolder. Then, edit (don't "open") the
    vconfig.xml file in the same subfolder using notepad. Near the top,
    you'll find an entry that says:
    <uireplace name="logo" value= "" />
    place the name of your button file between the quotation
    marks and save:
    <uireplace name="logo" value= "button.swf" />
    When you load up the training next time, the logo will have
    changed to your button.
    You'll have to do this every time you publish the training,
    as Presenter deletes & recreates all those subfolders each time
    you do. BTW, MacroDobe© does offer a small applet to parse
    this xml file for you... but they want 5 grand per copy. I'm
    thinking notepad works just as well :)
    cheers!

    sorry
    i mean, public void addDealer()
    players.addLast(new Player("Dealer"));
    you see i have lets say 3 players and i want the dealer to always be the last element of the list

  • Adding Undo-Redo buttons to toolbar?

    Is it possible to add Undo and Redo buttons to the toolbar?  Seems to me like this would be an obvious capability.
    Thanks!

    Well, that would be a Feature Request, and this is a volunteer staffed troubleshooting forum, from time to time Adobe Employees do check in.
    So this would be the proper venue for that request: Photoshop Family Customer Community
    The second part you may not like. Photoshop CS6 is no longer being updated for anything other than Adobe Camera Raw, so even if that feature passed muster, CS6 would not get it.
    Best thing you can do is assign a pair of keyboard shortcuts. F11/F12 for example. That would under Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts.

  • Exiting an applet with a QUIT button

    Hi all,
    Please excuse me if this questions has been asked 1001 times before.
    I am creating a quit button in a trusted applet, but it seems that the System.exit(0) call is not permitted, with the following message:
    "Exception in thread "AWT-EventQueue-1" java.security.AccessControlException: access denied (java.lang.RuntimePermission exitVM)"
    Any comments will be much appreciated!

    It is a JApplet.
    In fact, there is not even a client machine, because
    JVM is started on the host itself , an XP OS.Then that machine is the client.
    My objective is to be able to close all applet
    windows of the JApplet using a button, instead of
    having to kill the window manually, which I consider
    to be less <graceful>.
    Basically, I look for the equivalent of
    System.exit(0) using JFrame.You'll have to exit the browser-window which loaded the applet . You cannot close another application through Java.

  • Strange bug -- adding one more button OR page causes Form warning to appear

    I'm building a simple interactive document in InDesign CS4 on the Mac, to be exported/delivered as a PDF. There are a few text-based buttons on the Master Page that are set to Go To a Text Anchor on Release. There are 4 buttons of these buttons on the page, and each one leads to a different page in the document, and they all work fine. They are all built the same way.
    I want to export a PDF that opens cleanly in Reader, meaning no unexpected dialog boxes or warning messages appear. Up until this point, my document opens cleanly in Reader.
    However, when I create a FIFTH button (using the exact same method used to create the other buttons), OR I add ANY more pages to my document (which currently stands at 16 pages, but will need to ultimately be upwards of 40), for some reason, opening the PDF in Reader causes Reader to start displaying the large, distracting pink warning message at the top of the page:
    "Please fill out the following form. You cannot save data typed into this form. Please print your completed form if you would like a copy for your records."
    The fifth button I create (from scratch) causes this message to appear.
    Or, if I add another page (using my Master Page, where the buttons are used), this message appears. Even if the fifth button is not created, and I add another page from the Master, this message appears.
    If I add a blank new page (without using the Master Page), the message does NOT appear.
    So, for some reason, adding ONE more button, or referring to the Master Page in the document ONE more time by adding a 17th (or more) pages, seems to kick InDesign/Acrobat Reader into thinking my document is suddenly a form, and causes Reader to display that obnoxious pink message when opening the document.
    I've tried several troubleshooting steps.
    - I've ensured my buttons have unique names.
    - I've tried creating the fifth button from scratch, and also tried creating it from duplicating one of the existing "good" buttons.
    - I've made sure the button has a destination page/Text Anchor to go to.
    - I've opened the PDF in Acrobat Pro 9, and gone through all of the page and buttons in the Forms Manager, and there is nothing out of the ordinary in that view.
    Why is Reader suddenly thinking my document is a form (that "cannot be edited/saved") when I add one more button, or one more page!? It's bizarre, and quite frustrating.
    Thanks for any insights,
    Robbie

    You can use that same workaround with ID CS4 files. You just have to make the PDF and then go into Acrobat to add the security that doesn't allow editing (Acrobat -> Security -> Encrypt with Password) . That gets rid of the warning about the form. Of course if you actually have a form somewhere in your document, you won't be able to use that......

  • Disable save button in toolbar in offline form

    Hi to all !
    I am facing a wierd problem in my  adobe interactive offline form.
    I have added a save button in my offline form . I have added  validation script on this button.
    Hence I want the user to use this button only.So I want to disable the save button  that comes in the adobe reader for every user of this particular form.
    i know that their is a similar functionality for wd adobe form but i am creating an offline form, and i do not know how to disable the button in this case.
    So please help me

    Hi Kuldip,
    if you're trying to hide the Save Button in the Adobe toolbar, then you can place the following code in the wdDoModifyView method to hide the whole toolbar.
    // Get interactibe form handler.
            IWDPDFDocumentInteractiveFormHandler iFormHandler = WDPDFDocumentFactory.getDocumentHandler(wdThis.wdGetAPI(), "<name of your form>");
    //     Get appearance setter.
          IWDPDFDocumentAppearance appearance = iFormHandler.getDocumentContext().getAppearance();
         // Hide menu bar.
         appearance.hideMenuBar(true);
         // Hide tool bars.
         appearance.hideToolBars(true);
    hope this helps,
    harman

    As you presumably deploy Firefox you may consider using Firefox ESR. That has a slower release cycle and does not suffer this particular problem. ESR is currently Fx33.1 and does not even support Firefox Hello (The smiley icon VOIP feature was [https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/34.0/releasenotes/ introduced] in Fx34 )

    method set_table_for_first_display but I WANT TO KNOW HOW TO FIND FUNCTION CODE FOR BUTTONS ON TOOLBAR IN OOPS ALV

    Hi Prakash,
    -->First you have to set the pf status in your alv program by,
    {FORM pf_status USING rt_extab TYPE slis_t_extab.
      SET PF-STATUS 'FIRST'.
    ENDFORM.                    "PF_STATUS}
    -->Pass this Subroutine name in the Function module, Reuse_alv_grid_display's parameters i.e,
          i_callback_pf_status_set          = 'PF_STATUS'}
    *-->Then doble click on that pf status,
    From the menu bar, select Extras->Adjust Template->List Viewer,
    This will give you the existing statndard gui status of the program*
    ->Then catch that function codes in the User command Parameter of the Function module Reuse.. i.e,
          i_callback_user_command           = 'COMM'
    And make a subroutine of the name 'COMM'i.e,
    FORM comm USING ucomm LIKE sy-ucomm selfield TYPE slis_selfield.
      DATA: okcode TYPE sy-ucomm.
      okcode = ucomm.
      CASE okcode.
        WHEN 'REF'.
        CALL FUNCTION 'POPUP_TO_INFORM'

            txt1          = 'CREATED BY'
            txt2          = SY-UNAME

  • Cannot keep print button on toolbar

    Since upgrading firefox I cannot keep the print button the toolbar. I can open customize and pull the print icon button onto the toolbar but it is not there when I open a new session. Ii have to drag it again. How can I keep it in place. This just happens on one desktop. I run another desktop and a laptop without this problem
    Thanks

    Print the report where? On what printer? The server's printer?
    Java code runs on the server. You can't affect the client's computer from JSP.
    You can write javascript code which can call window.print() but that is working through the browser to display the print dialog box (as if the user selected file:print)
