Adding prompts dynamically and then send the results to users via email

Hi,
We have to schedule the reports for auto delivery to users at a specific time period. Please, tell me the mechanism to schedule them and how to assign prompt values to them. Currently, the reports are run by users by selecting prompts from the dashboard. If we schedule them, we will have to add some of these prompts dynamically and then send the results to users via email.

Hi,
I haven't tested it myself...but may be the following steps can help you.
Fill some session variables depending on the the name of the user who logs in (this can be done easily be creating different session variables and put some executing order in it)
Then you use these session variables as default values for your prompts. So the report will be executed making use of this default values.
And by scheduling your ibot..you can send it by mail.
I don't know if it's this what you're looking for...probably you have to base your prompt values depending on the users that are selected in your ibot?

Hi,
You cannot schedule and email a Discoverer report using standard Discoverer scheduling. You have to use a third party scheduler and Discoverer Desktop running on a windows PC.

All of this depends largely on what printer /software you have, which Email client you use and to some extent which OS you are running.
Most HP printers have HP Solution Center which is used to set up scanning,choosing where to save,etc. Once a file/photo is scanned and saved to the folder, open the folder.Select the file and at the top of the window should be the option to 'Email'.

How should I handle this kind of problem??

Why do the characters in the field of a form disappear when I attach the form to another PDF file and then save the resulting pdf?

This just started happening and it does not happen every time I do this action. I occasionally get the following message "An incorrect structure was found in the PDF file" and that seems to be part of the issue. Has anyone experienced anything like this?

I found out that if I waited about 15 minutes the PDF file became normal. Thank heavens! I've now sent out my newsletter for my Quilt Club to our 90 e-mail subscribers and all of them I have heard from have gotten it the way I had written it. It must just have been a quirk that happened, but I sure am glad it fixed itself. I only have 5 more newsletters to write and then I am done. Thank Heaven. Thank you for trying to help. I was about to become even more crazed than I get when I have to publish the newsletter. I do it once a month and I never would have volunteered for the 2 year job if I had know how much work it is. My husband walks gently when he knows I am trying to put the newsletter together. I'm not usually crabby, but this has made me a nut case once a month. It's a good thing we've been married for 37 years, so he knows that it is only the "newsletter editor nutty lady" that is getting mad at everything and everyone, including him! Firstly I need to say that I have no knowledge of how to use Javascript.
I am using the 30 day trial of Adobe Acrobat XP Pro to see if it can be used for a Membership Application Form for the 1st year of membership. This 1st year has a pro-rata membership fee per month left in the year of application along with a pro-rata postage fee for non-UK members. All of the input will be via basic text boxes with the exception of the application date and overseas postage for which I have created 3 dropdown boxes, one for Day, one for Month and one forYear and for the 2 tick boxes which are there for the applicant to say if they want 2 other options which have a cost attached to them. I want to populate 2 text boxes from the Month lookup. One of these is for the pro-rata membership fee and the other for the pro-rata overseas postage. The other 2 optional items will be text boxes populated from the tick boxes. Having populated these 4 text boxes I then want to have them automatically summed to give the total to be sent by the applicant.
I have searched many forums and tried many of the suggested ways of doing it and none of the 4 text boxes are populated.
Are you able to help me with this?

The script solution provided is a "custom calculation JavaScript" not a "simplified field notation".
The comment at the top of the code:

Simplified field notation has a number of specific restrictions. One is that the provided data must be numeric data only.

How can I attach individual e-mail address lists to an e-mail and then send the lists to another person?

I want someone else to be able to send group e-mails, using mail lists that I have created. What is the easiest way of e-mailing my mail lists to someone else? I do not see how individual mail lists can be made as an attachment to an e-mail.

We are using the output type external send. But the standard PO process will send email to only 1 recipient. The email will be taken from the customer master where email is flagged as Standard.
Is there any other way (or any user exit) to send invoice to a multiple recipient (TO and COPY-TO) maintained in customer master?

If you have output type maintained in your system and you want to send it to multiple people then all you have to do is include the partner functions in the output type in transaction NACE or V/30. The system will automatically copy the email addresses from the partner profiles and mail will be sent...

Though if it a certain set of ppl that the mail has to be sent to every time a PO is raised then you will have to take the help of your ABAPer.

The collum to the right listed similar problems. The solution appears to be that under smtp outgoing settings the user name and password are listed as optional. I have not plugged in the information and it seems to be working. However from my office it always allowed the relaying. The true test will be when I try to respond later from the road.

If you restore from backup your app date will also be restored to the time you made the backup. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup. If the apps are not in the iTunes library there is not place for the app data to go when you restore from backup.

How can I read the active (plugged in) DAQs and then send that to the device name input on DAQ assist?

I have a system property node for daqmx but it does not let me change it to read when i right click on it. You have do do programming. That is what LabVIEW is. MAX gives you all the tools to do everything you want and much more just program it to do what you want.
Attached is a VI that I think does what you want. I looks at all of your devices and returns the first non simulated one. Apparently this list already excludes devices not connected to the system.
