Adding provisioning profile to organization windows for os x application

Hello Everyone,
I'm working on 10.7.2 with iCloud beta 6 to create a test application to test iCloud functionality. I have created provisioning profile but i'm not able to add it in Organizer window. Can someone suggest me on this .please note that all this i'm doing for my mac os x application not for ios. and also in build setting when i'm adding provisning profile name as "code signing identity" it's giving error "there is no matching certificate or private key pair is available" it's just taking 3rd part application certifaicate. all this make me very cofused.
    thanks to all of you.

Sorry if this wasn't clear in the release notes.  We implemented mobile first but we're definitely working on getting this into an upcoming beta for desktop platforms (AIR and Flash Player).

  • "Waiting for maintenance window" for pre-approved application installed from software catalog

My understanding is that if a user installs an application from the software catalog that does not require admin approval, it should install right away. A user selected an application yesterday which had a prerequisite that needed to be installed (.NET),
it was installed but the published application never was; it's stuck in the "Waiting for maintenance window" category. I manually reboot the PC a few times thinking that would help, but no go. The deployment's checkboxes for "Software install"
and "System Restart" are grayed out so I can't check them, though it's my understanding they don't apply anyway in this situation.
Anyone have any ideas?  Also just for my own knowledge, what would cause the Software Install and System Restart checkboxes to be grayed out so they can't be checked?

Available deployments are not affected by maintenance windows or business hours. Examine AppEnforce.log and maintenancecoordinator.log. The Monitoring node might also be useful.

No. Programs like Firefox won't run from the "cloud".

  • How to modify OID to EBS provisioning profile to synch custom attributes.

Is there a way to modify the default provisioning profile which is used for OID to EBS synchronization ?
We need a solution to tie up the HR employee_ID and FND user_id automatically, I can have the OID populated with the HR employee_id from an external SOA source, Now I need to synch this data into the employee_number field in FND.

    Hi Nishith,
    Please clarify me once again....
I took user.xml from MDS, I haven't use sandbox for this approach. You want me to export "UserEo.xml,UserEo.xml.xml, UserVo.xml,UserVo.xml.xml" files from MDS and make those changes and import back...
Can you please help me to find the path of those xml files "UserEo.xml,UserEo.xml.xml, UserVo.xml,UserVo.xml.xml", also do i also need to use sandbox feature to achieve this ?
    Thanks in advance...

  • Setting up windows for streaming

I am looking for information on how to optimize windows for a streaming application
I am working in a DAQ application where I need to acquire 4 channels with 12 bits resolution at 10 MS/s during at least 40 seconds. I'm using a PXI system with a PXI-1044 chassis, a PXI-6115 DAQ board and a PXI-8105 controller running Windows. I am using LabVIEW 8.2
As expected, I am having some problems to maintain the acquisition going for 40 seconds consistently (sometimes I get to 40 seconds, sometimes it crashes before). Among other things I suspect Windows has something to do with this (I am also conscious that with a 80MB/s throughput I am pushing PXI bandwidth to the limit, but I cannot change this). Therefore I have stopped the antivirus and all programs that I can see in the task bar, but I would like to know if I can do anything else with Windows
Thanks and... happy new year !  ;-)
PS. I haven't got into detail with the acquisition technique used in the LabVIEW program in order to focus the thread in a single theme, but if anyone's interested I'd be glad to discuss it. I am using DAQmx and queues, and planning to play with software pipelining to see if I can get any advantage of the 8105's double core

Sorry for taking so long but I was out of the office. Here goes the complete code in the attached ZIP file.
The Main.vi is the top level as expected. There is also a version that tries to use pipelining (Main Piped) as my controller is a multicore processor, but I don't see any improvements
Here goes a brief description of the application first, then the problems I am experiencing
The goal... is to acquire four channels at 10 MS/s during 40s, processed them (the "algorithm.vi" which defines the processing is included, but this is not relevant now) and store the results to disk. The specifications oblige to process data as it is acquired, so post-processing is not permitted.
The solution... Once the DAQ card is configured and the acquisition is "triggered", five modules run in parallel: one to control the acquisition time, one to acquire the data from the PXI 6115 into memory, one to process it, one to store it in a file, and one to monitor the queues. The three modules in the middle communicate through two queues: one to pass data from the acquisition to the processing, and another to do the same between processing and storing to file. A third queue is used to stop the acquisition
The problems... I am not capable of running a 40s acquisition without an error :-o I succeed to do it with only one channel, but the system feels already quite in the limit (actually, if I try to get it longer it crashes around 43s). Of course if I increase to 4 channels I don't even get to 10s (the problem is different though, LabVIEW says it doesn't have enough memory to complete the operation. I think this might be because the acquisition queue gets too big, as the processing throughput is much slower than the processing
    thanks

  • Application cannot be opened beacouse provisioning profile has expired

    what should i do?

Clearing cookies will do nothing to fix this.
What is the app? Provisioning profiles sare used by developers to distribute applications to testers or by companies distributing enterprise apps internally to their employees. In either case, the profile has an expiration date. If your are getting this message, the app will not run until the developer or company provides a new version of the app with a non-expired provisioning profile.

  • On the xcode organizer window if there is no provisioning profile on the left under library, how would I import a provisioning account?

On the xcode organizer window if there is no provisioning profile on the left under library, how would I import a provisioning account? I'm getting an error message saying valid signing identity not found when I try to run an xcode project on an ipad. Under the orgainzer window a few icons are missing. Another issue that sort of complicates things is that I can get into developer.apple.com->membercenter, but there is no icon for the provisioning portal to export the profile.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
I have had an iTunes account for a while, but never really taken the time to learn to use it.  Now I have two computers, with two different versions of iTunes, with content on one that I want to transfer to the other.  Or I'd like to directly access the older libarary from the new computer.
There are a number of ways you might achieve this. The following article(s) may help you.
Moving your iTunes library to a new computer
Alternatively you might just use home sharing to share the libraries.
Plus I have some videos and audio CD's that I have never imported, and would like to bring them into iTunes and store on an external hard drive to keep from loading up my computer.  I have no idea how to accomplish all of this, and cannot find clear instructions on the website.  Is there a screen where I can access written step-by-step instructions?  I don't have the time or patience to play around and do it by trail and error.  Thanks.
If you place a CD into the CD drive, iTunes will ask you if you want to import it.
If you want iTunes to store content on an external drive, you need to tell it to do so, which you do at iTunes preferences > Advanced.

  • No option in project info window for code signing Provising profile.

    Dear Developer forum,
I have one issue wth my application regarding provisional Profile.
I have installed Distribution certificate. After that I have entered all information regarding distribution provisional profile in program portal
I have got provisional certificate from portal.I have installed it
And I have also seen its entry in home/library/mobiledevices/.
But Now problem is arising at place when I am opening my project or target info window on that time in BUild->code signing option, I have only code signing endity but no code signing provisioning profile.
where I can give my distribution provising profile name
So anybody tell me howz it come????
    Thanks

    Looking at this page:
    http://developer.apple.com/iphone/manage/distribution/index.action
Make sure that you've done all the steps... "Generating a Certificate Signing Request", "Submitting a Certificate Signing Request for Approval", "Downloading and Installing iPhone Distribution Certificates", "Create and download your iphone distribution provisioning profile"...
When I went through this process, I think I forgot to do the step "Downloading and Installing iPhone Distribution Certificates"... (skipping straight to "create and download your iphone disbritution profile") as a result the provisioning profile name wasn't appearing for me to select... When I completed that step, then the provisioning profile name appeared...

  • [iPhone] How to delete Provisioning Profile, AppID (for device testing)

Hi, on the developer portal, I'd like to get rid of the appID and provisioning profile.
I have already deleted the certificate.
I had removed the profile from Xcode organizer and that also removed the profile from my iPhone.
However, http://developer.apple.com/iphone/manage/provisioningprofiles/index.action continues to list the profile. Its status is now marked as "Invalid" and clicking on the "Modify" button does nothing
Does anyone know how to remove the profile from my program-portal settings. I'm assuming the profile is invalid because I've deleted the certificate.
The ~/Library/MobileDevice/Provisioning Profiles directory is empty and I have no other subdirectories under ~/Library/MobileDevice. So I don't know where this profile is coming from
I'd also like to delete the appID. Does anyone know how to delete an appID
Btw I'm deleting all this because of the problem described in http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1735100

After I added a second provisioning profile, the http://developer.apple.com/iphone/manage/provisioningprofiles/index.action page gave me a button to delete the first profile.
So I was able to delete the first provisioning profile.
I haven't found any way to delete an App ID.
So for now, I'm just going to assume that Apple doesn't let developers remove any App IDs (even though it is the developers who create these App IDs)
However, aside from the unnecessary clutter, I'm not concerned about this limitation
was able to create a new App ID and I'm using the new AppID now.
I was able to fix the problem decsribed in http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1735100. I'll update that thread after a while.

  • "Invalid Provisioning Profile. The provisioning profile included in the bundle {BUNDLENAME} [{BUNDLENAME}.app] is invalid. [Missing code-signing certificate.]" for brand new, vanilla Mac App

In OS X Maverick's XCode, I created a brand new Mac > "Cocoa Application", with Core Data and Spotlight Importerl; about as vanilla a Cocoa application I could muster.
Under Preferences > Accounts, I signed in to my Mac Developer Account.
In Targets > Identity, I set Signing to "Mac App Store", and was able to select my Mac Developer Account for "Team".
I then went to Product > Clean, and then Product > Build for... > Running, and then Produt > Archive.
In the Organizer, I select the resulting .app and click "Validate", and hit the Mac App Store radio, and hit "Next", and it's able to log into my Mac Developer Account.
I select my Provisioning Profile in the dropdown, and click "Validate".
It comes back with several errors:
1 - "Invalid Provisioning Profile. The provisioning profile included in the bundle {BUNDLENAME} [{BUNDLENAME}.app] is invalid. [Missing code-signing certificate.] For more information, visit the Mac OS Developer Portal."
2 - "The bundle identifier cannot be changed from the current value, '{DIFFERENT-BUNDLE-FROM-OTHER-PROJECT}'.  If you want to change your bundle identifier, you will need to create a new application in iTunes Connect.
3 - Invalid Code Signing Entitlements.  The entitlements in your app bundle signature do not match the ones that are contained in the provision profile.  The bundle contains a key that is not included in the provisioning profile: 'com.apple.applications-identifier' in '{BUNDLENAME}.app/Contents/MacOS/{BUNDLENAME}'
I was able to do the same process before, for a vanilla app, before Mavericks.  I'm not sure if this is a Mavericks error, or a fact that now I have multiple app projects.  Particularly odd is that DIFFERENT-BUNDLE-FROM-OTHER-PROJECT in error (2) is not the same bundle name as the current project's bundle.
Would love any help you can provide!  Thank you!

    Seen this thread?
    New codesign behavior, --deep option
"Code signing has some interesting changes in Mavericks (that apparently haven't made it into the release notes yet...). Note that this is a change to the operating system, not to the devtools."

  • AIR for iOS getting error while uploading the app, ITMS-9000 "Missing Provisioning Profile"

    hi!
I get this error, when uploading the binary to Itunes. Any help, on how to solve out this problem ? And what does it mean ?

for install on devices, you need to use a distribution cert. and a distribution provisioning profile for adhoc. When ready for AppStore you can use same distribution cert. but distribution provision profile for appstore. i completely use Windows PC for my entire process and use testflight to distribute to my testers. I'm not sure how the process is for simulator on the Mac is.  I just the use mac to create my certs and profiles and then application loader.
When you tried upload to testflight did u use a distribution cert (p12) and an adhoc distibution provisioning profile. Also are the devices you are sending to are also registered to that profile.
Also ive been doing this for 3 years now but consider myself a newbie still cuz I'm self taught and still learning and my ways of doing things in an unorthodox way but on average I have about 10 uploads of updates or new apps to the AppStore a year and haven't had an app rejected. These forms will be your best resource of info with users like @colin.

i'm not quiet sure atm but should normally work like this:
connect to itunes store -> log out with ur account (upper right corner where ur apple id is displayed) -> sign in with ur wifes apple id -> activate computer (store->activate this computer)
normally it should work this way but ur wife wont be able to use apps or music within itunes library purchased with the other apple id

  • A valid provisioning profile for this executable was not found

I have built an enterprise APP. It has been installed in hundreds of machine. It can run smoothly at the begining. After two months, a few of the machice cannot open the APP anymore. I have tried to read its crach log and it has nothing. Finally, i found out the reason by tracing the console log.
The error is "A valid provisioning profile for this executable was not found".
So I check if the file exist but it is disappeared. The user have not removed the profile.
At last, I tried to install the profile again, it is still not working even the profile is installed. Is there anyone who have the same issue? Thank you very much

  • Provisioning profile for app store?

My iphone is giving me a message saying that the provisioning profile for my app store is going to expire tomorrow.  I have the option to remove the profile, but won't that cause my app store to quit? Not sure how to restore the profile...
    Help!

    hello ,
    i found the solution...  ;-)
i installed the os lion and xcode 4.1 and the problem was solved
but to submit your app to mac apple store with xcode, you must modify this file
    Entitlements.plist
in the following path :   ../Developer/Platforms/MacOSX.platform
You must change "application-identifier"  to  "com.apple.application-identifier"
