Adding two characters to all the element of workflow container

Hi All,
I want to prefix two character to all the elements of a particular "multiline" workflow container.
How can i do this?
Please help me in this regard.

you will have to use a custom method as step and pass the multiline attribute and loop at it, add and modify the multiline variable of the container. No other way possible, within workflow builder.

How do I display all the elements of an array?

Hello,
I am trying to learn about manipulating arrays. The example finder includes this one," build array_forum.vi", which shows the two modes, concatenate and append, which I can understand, HOWEVER, I cannot figure out how they built this vi. For example, I can find the Build Array function, but, I cannot understand how they created the "array of numeric data 1" "array of numeric data 2"...etc, and I cannot find the functions on the palettes that result in the display "build array concatenate inputs". Where are these blue functions????
Where are these functions found on the palette, and how does one construct them like this?
The other vi shown here, "for loop array_forum.vi" is my attempt to duplicate it, but, it does not show all the elements of the array; instead it displays only ONE element, the last element of the array. How do I display all the elements of the array I am trying to create using the FOR LOOP?

In oracle Open Script (OATS) OracleEBS/Forms project all the elements or fields are being identified as web objects.

In oracle Open Script (OATS), we have created an OracleEBS/Forms project. But when we try to record the script all the elements or fields are being identified as web objects. Due to this we are unable to use the functions like getText. Hence, please help.
Example: The below line when executed gives an error " Failed to connect to the Oracle Forms applet after 90 seconds. Verify that the applet launching page opens, and that the Forms Startup Timeout setting is high enough for this site."

We have already set the event timeouts in OpenScript Preferences -> Playback -> OracleEBS/Forms Functional as

Forms Response Timeout = 120 Sec.

If it is a name resolution I would try either replacing the server name in the script with the IP address or making an entry in the local host file of the machine trying to play back the script
If you try one or both of those approaches does the script play back?

Can't move all the elements in a group together.

I'm trying to do a very basic thing here. I would like to just put all the elements in my bicycle drawing in a group, and then move it left to right. I know how to move it and animate it, and I thought I knew how to put all the elements in the group - but when I try to move it, as you can see by the attached pictures, it strips the frame from the wheels. Everything in the drawing is in a group.
The only thing that might be causing trouble is that each wheel is its own group and they are animated with the "spin" behavior. So it will look like the bike is moving and the wheels are turning. But both "wheel" groups are in the bike group, so shouldn't it all move together?

Sorry it hasn't worked out for you. I threw together a simple project that uses rectangles to represent your Bike and wheel groups. They all animate across the canvas in the bike group and the wheels rotate. I have attached screen shots so you can see how they are constructed.
This image showsthe bike group where the orange rectangle and green circle represent the frame. The white rectangles represent wheels and the green and red rectangles I threw in to represent a wheel that has multiple objects in its group as your wheels do.
Here the animation across the screen has started and notice all wheels rotating and staying with the frame.
Again a little further down the timeline.

A report that shows all the elements with their setting

Is there a way to write a report in discoverer which will show all the elements set up in Oracle with there settings e.g. are they taxable or niable etc.
Alternatively is there a standard report in HRMS which would give the same results.

Not really as such. Taxable and Niable elements feed to the appropriate taxable or niable balances therefore, you will need to run a report against what elements are fed into these balances. I doubt that there will be anything as standard in teh pre shipped EUL's that will enable you to do this, however, for simple one of why don't you just call up teh balances in teh application and see what elemenst feed into them.

Program to download all the elements of a program.

Hi everybody,
Could anybody help me with this? I have a need to download a particular program from one server to another. I need to download it to a local file and then upload it back to another server. The problem is that i was only able to get the program as such without the includes, text elements etc. Is there a program or a way that i could download all of this?

Thanks for your reply. But for various reasons the programs that are created were not meant to be trasported and were created as local objects. I might not be looking for all the elements but how about includes? Is that possible? I did find a program on the net but it was not compatible and contained tonnes of Unicode issues.

Hello, I'm trying to find all the entities bol that contains the field account_group, in the model_browser but in Tx "GENIL_MODEL_BROWSER" I have to see all bol entities if contains this field.
My question is:
Is there a transaction or other method where I introduce the field and appear all the Bol entities that contains this field????

Question on how to retrieve elements in workflow container using WAPI

Hi all, I need your great help. I have started a workflow and during it running I want get element in workflow container. First I use SAP_WAPI_READ_CONTAINER to get a workflow container which called "simple_container", but I can not get element using SWC_GET_ELEMENT because the container type I got does not match the type TABLE SWCONT.
I have loop the container and could see the elements in the container, but I am not quit sure that I can get the element with its own type. For example, I have an internal table in container, when I loop to it and get its value, it can not be assigned to my local internal table variable for the type incomptible.
Could any one give me some advice? Thank you very much!

Thanks for your advice. I think I have found the way to do that by inside into the source code sap provide. The steps are as follows:
1 If the element you want get in container is char-based, just get container use 'SAP_WAPI_READ_CONTAINER' and loop into it to retrieve what you want.
2 If you want get element in other types, eg, internal table, then use:
lv_wi_handle TYPE REF TO if_swf_run_wim_internal,
cnt TYPE REF TO if_swf_cnt_container.
CALL METHOD cl_swf_run_wim_factory=>find_by_wiid
        EXPORTING
          im_wiid     = wi_id
        RECEIVING
          re_instance = lv_wi_handle.
      cnt = lv_wi_handle->get_wi_container( ).
CALL METHOD cnt->IF_SWF_CNT_ELEMENT_ACCESS_1~ELEMENT_GET_VALUE
       EXPORTING NAME = 'element_name'
       IMPORTING VALUE = element_value.
The variable element_value is just in your own type~.

Scenario is like below.
I have values in a multiline container(table) of workflow container.
Now inside Fork branches i need to check for specific data in the above table and with that condition i have to send workitem.

You cannot didrectly check the condition...
what you have to do is.. write a inside the method as below and set the flag...and use the flag in condition editor...
SWC_GET_TABLE CONTAINER 'AGENTS' lt_agents.
loop at lt_agents ino wa_agents.
if wa_agents = 'A'.
lv_flag = X.
endif.
endloop.
SWC_SET_ELEMENT CONTAINER 'FLAG' lv_flag.
Create an export parameter FLAG as char1 with export marked.
Do the neccesary bindings from task to workflow.
Then in workflow check this flag in condition editor.

Only when i go to a different browser (like IE) after i clear it , then all that shows up is the pages i visited in IE , that is what bugs me , why is IE browsing history sowing up in Firefox ??

Ns0 in all the element tag of the XML output file

I'm performing a mapping in the Integration Builder. The target structure is based on an imported xsd file via External Definitions.
However, in the output file, I'm getting a ns0 prefix in all the name of the elements.
Below is an example of how the output file looks like.

Hi,
It does not matter whether your namespace prefix is ns, ns0, xyz or whatever.
When your mapping doesn't work there must be another reason.
Just try and paste the payload from moni and test ur mapping.
The namespace prefic ns0 is only a placeholder for the namespace urn:iso:std:iso:20022:tech:xsd:pain.001.001.02. This namespace can also be represented by another prefix or even by the empty prefix.
However, it is not possible to model the target payload via a Message type in the Integration Repository.
Message types are simply not suitable to model a document as you have posted. However, there is simple help. Just download the schema for the Message type to your local file system. Add attribute elementFormDefault="qualified" to the root tag of that schema. Upload that schema as External Definition. This External Definition will have one External Message. Define your mapping using that schema.

How do I sum all the elements of a 1-D array?

Hello Emma,
even in LV5.1 you should find a function called "Sum up Array elements", probably in the math palette.
If you want to do some special math, you can use a simple For-loop and sum up the elements by yourself.

There is a dead space about two inches high all the way across the top third of my page. I can't click on anything in this space.

In this dead space, my cursor will not go from the arrow to a finger, so I can click on stuff. If I try to click anyway it minimizes my page. Can we have a filter to handle all the apps in a container?

Hi,
I have a simple (Stupid) question.
Can I configure a Servlet filter to intercept requests to all the applications (a.k.a all the ServletContexts)? All I know is we can configure a filter for each ServletContext (application), but I am wondering if there is any way.
The reason I am asking is because, if there is a way to do so, I can configure my filter to provide me the debug output (Such as CGI, session, request, and ServletContext variables) on all the applications on development servers and when I can get rid of debugging on production servers (by not deploying the filter).

I tried it in Tomcat 4.x. It works for only the root resources even though I configured the filter for /* which is expected to include all the resources including root (for ex: /examples/...).
So, I understand, the web.xml under /conf will be overriden by that of the respective apps as you go further down the context paths (apps). That's why the container was not executing my filter when I went to the next level of the URI (http://localhost:8080/index.html WORKED, but NOT http://localhost:8080/examples/jsp/num/numguess.jsp).
If you want to try it for yourself, here is the piece of code I tried with (This is taken from Apache Tomcat source):
