Adding values into /BI0/SUNIT ??

Hi,
I have an infoobject which is a reference of 0UNIT. Therefore, I get all the values that are present in the database table /BI0/SUNIT.
I do not have a type 'BOX' defined as a value in this table. I am not sure how to populate the values into this infoobject(database). Any suggestions?
Cheers
Kiran

Hi,
this information usually gets uploaded from your source system via transfer global settings which is an option in rsa1 if you do a right click on your source system in the source system tab. Another option is going to spro->SAP Netweaver->common settings->maintain units. Here you can do it manually.

  • Adding values into a driver class

    I have this code:

    When i am writing the driver class, how do I enter values for the GregorianCalender attribute?

    BathingService bath=new BathingService(ciDate);
    GregorianCalendar ciDate=new GregorianCalendar(checkInDate);
    double bathe=bath.getAmountPayable();
    when i tried to compile it said cannot find symbol(its in a driver class)

  • How can I pass a value into a page fragment?

    How can I pass a value into a page fragment?
    I am implementing four search screens. And the only thing different about them will be their backing bean.
    So I’d like to do something like have four pages, each which retrieves its appropriate backing bean, sets that bean to a variable, and then includes a page fragment which contains the generic search page code (which will make use of that variable).
    The code in the four pages would be something like this:
    <?xml version='1.0' encoding='windows-1252'?>
    <jsp:root xmlns:jsp="http://java.sun.com/JSP/Page" version="2.0"
    xmlns:c="http://java.sun.com/jsp/jstl/core">
    <jsp:directive.page contentType="text/html;charset=windows-1252"/>
    <c:set var="searchPageBackingBean"
    value="#{pageFlowScope.employeeSearchPageBean}"
    scope="page"/>
    <jsp:include page="./SearchPageBody.jsff"/>
    </jsp:root>
    At this point, what I’m seeing is that the fragment page, SearchPageBody.jsff, has no visibility of the searchPageBackingBean variable, either referencing it as #{pageFlowScope.searchPageBackingBean} or just #{searchPageBackingBean}

    The following will work, assuming you are needing to access a managed bean:
    Put this in the parent page:
    <c:set var="nameOfSearchPageBackingBean"
    value="employeeSearchPageBean"
    scope="request"/>
    Put this in the child, SearchPageBody.jsff:
    <c:set var="searchPageBean"
    value="#{pageFlowScope[nameOfSearchPageBackingBean]}"
    scope="page"/>

  • Adding values for a single customer

    Hi Everybody,
    I am facing a programming issue. I have to do something like this:
    For a each customer, for all open items for that customer, I have to add the amount due at every period in aging in Accounts receivable. So for example, if I have two customers: A and B and
    A has 5 open items
    B has 3 open items
    for each open item there is an amount due for both customers. So what i have to do is add for A 1+2 = amount 1.
    amount 1 + 3 = amount 2, amount 24 = amount 3, amount 35 = amount 4.
    Similarly for B also I have to do the same thing. Right now my amount are getting added up into one single value at each line of the table. So for all customers it is just getting added in every row of the table and not seperately for every new customer.
    Can somebody suggest something or give some example?
    Please help.
    Thanks & regards,
    AM

    I'm not sure I understand what you are trying to do. Is it something like:
    REPORT ztest.
    TABLES: bsid.
    PARAMETERS p_bukrs LIKE bsid-bukrs.
    SELECT-OPTIONS s_kunnr FOR bsid-kunnr.
    DATA: BEGIN OF itab OCCURS 0,

            kunnr LIKE bsid-kunnr,
            under_30_amt LIKE bsid-dmbtr,
            under_60_amt LIKE bsid-dmbtr,
            under_90_amt LIKE bsid-dmbtr,
            over_90_amt  LIKE bsid-dmbtr,
          END   OF itab.
    DATA: under_30_date LIKE sy-datum,
          under_60_date LIKE sy-datum,

    under_30_date = sy-datum - 30.
    under_60_date = sy-datum - 60.
    under_90_date = sy-datum - 90.
    over_90_date  = sy-datum - 30.
    SELECT bukrs kunnr bldat dmbtr
      INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF bsid
      FROM bsid
      WHERE bukrs = p_bukrs
        AND kunnr IN s_kunnr.
      CLEAR itab.
      MOVE: bsid-bukrs TO itab-bukrs,
            bsid-kunnr TO itab-kunnr.
      IF bsid-bldat > under_30_date.
        MOVE bsid-dmbtr TO itab-under_30_amt.
      ELSEIF bsid-bldat > under_60_date.
        MOVE bsid-dmbtr TO itab-under_60_amt.
      ELSEIF bsid-bldat > under_90_date.
        MOVE bsid-dmbtr TO itab-under_90_amt.
      ELSE.
        MOVE bsid-dmbtr TO itab-over_90_amt.
      ENDIF.
      COLLECT itab.
    ENDSELECT.
    LOOP AT itab.

                  itab-under_90_amt,
                  itab-over_90_amt.
    ENDLOOP.
    <i>Caveats</i>
    I'm not sure what date you should use for aging. I used the document date. Maybe it's the baseline date. Maybe it's something else.
    Collect is inefficient. You might want to do it another way.
    I may be way off base - you may be doing something else entirely.

  • Inserting a Value into otherTable using an App. Proc. from a Date Picker

    I'm trying to call an Application Process that will insert an Attribute of a Row, into another table, after selecting a date from a Date Picker cell.
    I don't know why this shouldn't be possible. I think I've got all of my "Ducks in a Row", so to speak,
    but the Value that is being inserted into the other table is this:.. [object HTMLTableCellElement]
    (Ultimately, I'd like my Application Process to include Page element values with the insert as well, but I'm trying to handle one problem at a time)
    Here's a list of all the steps I've covered:
    1. I've Created an Application Process, (popDevices). The Process Point is "On-Demand". The Type is "PL/SQL Anonymous Block".
    The Process is defined as such:
    BEGIN
    Insert into P_DEVICES
    NAME,
    IP_ADDRESS,
    MODEL
    ) values
    'Unassigned',
    'Unassigned',
    :P153_MODEL
    COMMIT;
    END;
    2. I've Included the Javascript in the Page HTML Header.
    The Javascript is written as such: (minus the tags)
    function popDevices(PART_NO)
    var get = new htmldb_Get(null,$x('pFlowId').value,'APPLICATION_PROCESS=popDevices',0);
    get.add('P153_MODEL',PART_NO);
    gReturn = get.get();
    get = null;
    3. I've included the following in the "Element Attributes" field of the Date-Picker Item (Date_Delivered).
    The Region Type is "SQL Query (Updatable Report)"
    onChange="javascript:popDevices(PART_NO);"
    THE RESULTS
    A. A row does get inserted into the other (P_Devices) table,
    But the value of the Attribute from the Page Region is not valid.
    The Inserted value is this: [object HTMLTableCellElement]
    B. I have tried Every conceivable combination of characters in the "Element Attributes" field, such as:
    ...(PART_NO), (#PART_NO#), (||PART_NO||), (+PART_NO+)
    C. The Javascript in the Page HTML Header appears to be correct, since I have written it this same way for other applications without any problems.
    D. If this simply cannot be done by referencing the "onChange" Javascript from the "Element Attributes" field,
    Then can you help me to write the code into the Select statement of the region.
    Thanks for any help you can give me.
    -Gary

    This may not be the most direct approach to the solution. But, none the less, it is a solution.
    For those other novices, like myself, I hope this can be useful at some point in your development:
    MY DESIRED RESULT:
    A. To Insert into another tablle values derived from both; Page Item (i.e. P153_x) and Attributes of a Row in an Updatable Report from which I have selected the Date-Picker.
    B. I want the insert to occur automatically after the user Selects the date from the Date-Picker.
    SOLUTIONS:
    1. I usea Javascript prompt window to prompt for information and store the information in Pre-Created Page Items.
    This is the Javascript as I've entered it into the Page HTML Header region: (Minus the Tags)
    function received_javaprompt () {
    var Serial_Number = prompt("Enter the Serial Number");
    var Bldg_Id = prompt("Enter the Bldg_Id");
    var Clst_Id = prompt("Enter the Clst_Id");
    $x('P153_SERIAL_NO').value = Serial_Number;
    $x('P153_BLDG_ID').value = Bldg_Id;
    $x('P153_CLST_ID').value = Clst_Id;
    2. I needed to identify the (Manufacturer and Part_No) Column Attribute in the Row from which I selected the Date-Picker.
    A. To do this, I enumerated the Columns in the order they were listed in the Select Statement of the region (Click on the Region Definition Tab).
    B. Then (Click on the Report Attributes Tab). Count, In the numerical order which these columns are selected, ONLY the columns that are Editable.
    C. When I counted down as far as the Column I wanted to capture the value of, Then I made a mental note of that number and used it in the following (2) Javascripts (findMaker and findModel).
    3. findMaker (Minus the tags)
    function findMaker (pThis) {
    var vRow = pThis.id.substr(pThis.id.indexOf('_')+1);
    var Maker = html_GetElement('f15_'+vRow).value
    $x('P153_MAKER').value = Maker;
    4. findModel (Minus the tags)
    function findModel (pThis) {
    var vRow = pThis.id.substr(pThis.id.indexOf('_')+1);
    var Model = html_GetElement('f16_'+vRow).value
    $x('P153_MODEL').value = Model;
    5. I added one more Javascript, to the Page HTML Header, that references the Application Process which will Insert the values into the "Other" table:
    function popDevices(P153_SERIAL_NO,P153_BLDG_ID,P153_CLST_ID,P153_MAKER,P153_MODEL)
    var get = new htmldb_Get(null,$x('pFlowId').value,'APPLICATION_PROCESS=popDevices',0);
    get.add('P153_SERIAL_NO',P153_SERIAL_NO);
    get.add('P153_BLDG_ID',P153_BLDG_ID);
    get.add('P153_CLST_ID',P153_CLST_ID);
    get.add('P153_MAKER',P153_MAKER);
    get.add('P153_MODEL',P153_MODEL);
    gReturn = get.get();
    get = null;
    6. I added the "onChange" process to the Element Attributes field of the Table item which utilizes the Date-Picker:
    A. Click on the Report Attributes Tab of the Region.
    B. Click on the Edit icon of the column which utilized the Date-Picker
    C. I added this "onChange" reference to the Element Attributes field, which is found in the Tabular Form section.
    onChange="javascript:received_javaprompt();findModel(this);findMaker(this);popDevices((P153_SERIAL_NO).value,(P153_BLDG_ID).value,(P153_CLST_ID).value,(P153_MAKER).value,(P153_MODEL).value);"
    7. The Application Process which inserts the collected data into the table is as follows:
    (Name= popDevices: Process Point= On-Demand: Type= PL/SQL Anonymous Block)
    BEGIN
    Insert into P_DEVICES
    BLDG_ID,
    CLST_ID,
    NAME,
    IP_ADDRESS,
    SERIAL_NO,
    MAKER,
    MODEL
    ) values
    :P153_BLDG_ID,
    :P153_CLST_ID,
    'Unassigned',
    'Unassigned',
    :P153_SERIAL_NO,
    :P153_MAKER,
    :P153_MODEL
    COMMIT;
    END;
    Well, I hope this may help someone else like me.
    I usually arrive at my solutions by getting help here on the Discussion Forum and also Google. Google inevitably points me to a previous Apex Discussion Forum session.

  • REP-1425 report formula DO_SQL error putting value into column

    Hi all
    I have opened a report 2.5 in Oracle9i Reports Developer and, it converted ok. However, when I run the report (paper layout), the message
    rep-1425 report formula DO_SQL error putting value
    into column. Column may not be referenced by parameter
    triggers
    appears. There are several report level formula columns and corresponding placeholder columns that are the cause of this error. The formula has the following :
    SRW.DO_SQL('SELECT RPAD(''DAILY TABLE AUDIT REPORT'',60,''.'')||TO_CHAR(SYSDATE,''DD-MON-YYYY'') INTO :REPORT_TIT FROM DUAL');
    COMMIT;
    RETURN('');
    I can't work out what this error message really means as the column, report_tit is a placeholder column and, the formula column is not a parameter trigger!! The report_tit placeholder is used as a source for a layout field. I noticed that the layout field is defined as a placeholder column in the converted report but in the reports 2.5 version, it is defined as a layout field.
    I can do a work around by replacing the SRW.DO_SQL statement with a normal PL/SQL SELECT statement. However, I wonder if anyone else has had the same problem and, if anyone can help provide an answer as to what this error really means and, also, how I can retain the SRW.DO_SQL statement and/or an alternative work around to the one that I have described.
    Thanks.

    Hi again
    The firewall proved to be the problem after all! The firewall set in Reports config-files is not used for WebServices, it has to be set within the stub:
    Properties prop = System.getProperties();
    prop.put("http.proxyHost","yourProxyServer");
    prop.put("http.proxyPort","youProxyServerPort");
    I inserted this in my java-code and after some problems (see below), restarting Report Builder turned the trick, the report works now.
    Cheers
    Tino
    Here there mail I set up before I found that restarting Report Builder helped:
    Thanks for your answer, putting in the proxy-settings actually helped some - the same error message is
    popping up, but instantly and not after 10 seconds like before:
    My proxy lines look like this, I also tried "http://proxy.ch.oracle.com", but "proxy.ch.oracle.com" proved to
    be the correct syntax:
    public Float getRate(String country1, String country2) throws Exception
    Float returnVal = null;
    Properties prop = System.getProperties();
    prop.put("http.proxyHost","proxy.ch.oracle.com");
    prop.put("http.proxyPort","8080");
    URL endpointURL = new URL(endpoint);
    Call call = new Call();
    I tested the new proxy-entries by disabling the proxy preference in JDeveloper, so I could verify the added
    proxy-lines in the code work - they do. If I change the proxy to some incorrect value like
    "proxyy.ch.oracle.com", they fail.
    After unsuccessfully trying recompile and re-import of Java classes, I rebuild the report from scratch and
    stumbled over the same problem. Now the question is, whether I'm still doing something wrong with the
    proxy or whether there is another problem after passing the firewall....

  • How do i store value into my itunes account?

    i have never used an itunes music store gift certificate before, in fact i only made one purchase in itunes before, and that was because i was just playing with my itunes setting and didn't know there was no final confirmation stage to cancel a purchase.
    anyway, a friend of mine give me an one hundred dollar gift certificate, and i have no idea where to store the value into my itunes account. can someone please help me out with it?
    in addition, the way my name appeared on the gift certificate is a little different from how i had entered it in itunes. will that cause any problem?
    any assistance would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

    It will store it in your iTunes music store account
    The name/spelling does not matter.
    Open iTunes.
    Select Music Store.
    On the left side of the store under Account, select Gift Certificate, then Redeem.
    Enter the number on the Gift Certificate and then click Redeem.
    This amount will be added to your iTunes store account and you can use it whenever you want. You don't need to do it all at once either.

  • Is there possibility to add dimension value into hierarchy using dml or spl

    1 Is there possibility to add dimension value into hierarchy using dml or spl?
    If such possibility exists how to do that.
    2 Is it possible to sort dimension values inside one branch of the hierarchy?

    What version of OLAP are you using and how did you create your AW (e.g., AWM)?
    Assuming that you're used either AWM or the Java API for AWs in 10g, there isn't an OLAP DML for adding a dimension member to a dimension (and have all the meta data kept in sync); you must load dimension members using AWM the Java API for AWs.
    So, make your changes in the the dimension table and process that table.
    For sorting, you can add a sort attribute to the dimension. Add the sort attribute to the model, indicate that it's used for sorting, add the sort attribute to your dimension table and maintain the dimension.

  • Saving values into table from Interactive Form

    Hallo together,
    iam trying to do the example "Include Tables" (SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe - Galileo Press).
    It works, but not as described. When i want to change data in the interactive_forms ui element and press the webdynpro native button send, the value at the webdynpro table does not change. When i change the value at the webdynpro table and press the send button at the form or change the line at the webdynpro, the value in the adobe formular changes too. Thats one problem.
    The other problem is that i want to save the changed/added data from the formular at the database. What to do? The form layout is "ZCI Layout" and i added the script:
    DO NOT MODIFY THE CODE BEYOND THIS POINT - 800.20070708051308.406522.403406 - ContainerFoundation_JS
    I also added this into "wddomodifyview":
    METHOD wddomodifyview .
      DATA: lr_interactive_form TYPE REF TO cl_wd_interactive_form,
                 lr_method_handler TYPE REF TO if_wd_iactive_form_method_hndl.
      CHECK first_time = abap_true.
      lr_interactive_form ?= view->get_element( 'FORM' ).
      lr_method_handler ?= lr_interactive_form->_method_handler.
      lr_method_handler->set_legacy_editing_enabled( abap_true ).
    ENDMETHOD.
    I selected also:
    execute at: "Server and Client"
    I dont know what to do anymore.
    Best regards
    Philip

    Hi,
    To make an input enabled table. I would suggest to use TABLE element from the PDF library and then binding the columns from your context.
    Step 1: Library -> Standard ->Table
    Select create using assistance.
    Select body rows vary depending on data .
    Select number of Columns in your case it will be 4.
    Then proceed further and finish as per your need.
    Step 2:
    Select a table Column .
    Select Pallets->Object then chnage the cell type from Text to text field.
    Then click on binding tab and bind it to the respective field from hierarchy.
    Select upgrade the following properties radio button and check only "default value" option.
    This will create binding something like this $record.SCARR.DATA[*].CARRID
    Follow this for all other columns.
    Step 3:
    Now create a button in the View holding your form(you can also use SUBMIT button of form). On action event of this button right the following code to get all the changed values from Table.
    data lt_scarr type wd_this->elements_scarr.
      call method lo_nd_scarr->get_static_attributes_table
        importing
          table = lt_scarr.
    LT_SCARR will contain all the new values from Form. Then use this table to update ur database table.
    Thanks,
    Abhishek

  • Converting 11 digit value into 18 digit value by filling from left to right

    Hello Experts,
    I'm a newbie in ABAP-coding. I didn't found anything in the forum, so I'm sure somebody could give a little help. I would like to concatenate value into field name "mat". The input length is 11 the output length should be 18. Could you please look at the code belove:
    data: c1(7) value '10000002',
          c2(3) value '001',
          c3(1) value '0',
          mat type /BI0/OIMATERIAL.
    CONCATENATE c1 c2 c3 into mat.
    write mat.
    CALL FUNCTION 'CONVERSION_EXIT_ALPHA_INPUT'
      EXPORTING
        INPUT     = mat
    IMPORTING
       OUTPUT     = mat.
    But is not giving me the correct result. I've defined a field "mat" which has the same proerty as 0MATERIAL and length = 18.
    After concatenating values into mat, the result should be 10000002001 (length = 11).
    But I would like the result to be showing from left to right in this way: 000000010000002001 (length = 18)
    Could somebody tell where the problem could be?
    Many Thanks
    Mamadou

    The probelm appears to be with
    mat type /BI0/OIMATERIAL.
    I changed it to
    MAT(18)
    and got
    000000010000000010

  • Adding ADF faces in Sun studio Creator

    Pls Help me by giving step by step procedure for adding ADF Faces in sun Studio Creator. The version of ADF Faces is EA 17.

    Hi Pablo and Eric,
    Just to calrify things a bit about ADF Faces. ADF Faces are standard JSF components and are fully compatible with any JSF implementation. What you guys are asking for is tools support. Currently Sun Studio Creator is experience difficulties importing any large custom component sets to their IDE. This is due to bugs in their prodcut and the fact that ADF Faces does not come with the Sun specific configuration required to import components to their IDE. We are working with them on a new proposal for design time metadata and a solution to get ADF Faces into to the Sun SC IDE.
    But, this is ultimately a Sun issue, not a JDeveloper nor ADF Faces issue.

  • Record '4,565 ' successfully written into /BI0/YEMPLOYEE in second attempt

    Hi ,
    I am getting following warning while loading data in BI QA system for Employee master.
    " Record '4,565 ' successfully written into /BI0/YEMPLOYEE in second attempt "
    While loading the data in dev there was no warning ,but the in BI Qa I am facing this warning.
    Can someone please help me on this?
    Thanks
    Sajid

    Hi Sajid,
    This usually happens with time-dependent master data. It is a feature of the built in SAP code when activating master data that "Might Have" an issue when there is a lot of incoming records being loaded in a request that are splitting the time-line of the existing master data records.
    The BW system basically does a second loop/attempt at storing the newer records into an existing record that has just been split. This is a feature to ensure that the final integrity of the 0DATETO and 0DATEFROM values end up with a single,consistent timeline in the master data table upon completion of the load.
    Serializing the load by removing parallel data-packet processing will help reduce the possibility of this occurring. Also loading one request at a time by ticking the "Repeat until all requests loaded" option in the DTP settings will reduce the possibility of this occurring.
    Setting the "Treat warnings as ok" mentioned above is perfectly fine to do in this scenario.
    Kind regards,
    John.

    You can achieve this using Customer Exit or BADI. Check the folllowing link.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/ac/ef1f43daac9a448f0150a02e3a7aba/content.htm
    If you are using BADI
    You can create Virtual CHAR in BADI using transaction SE19
    In this transaction you can create a new or display the existing BADI.
    There you can see two tabs
    The Attribute Tab we need to give the name of the Multiprovider on which the query with the virtual char is getting executed.
    The Inerface Tab has three following sections. Need to write the ABAP code for all the three.
    Define : Defind all the characteristics and virtual char that will be used for populating virtual char
    Initialize : Initialize them
    Compute : Here you will have to write the logic for populating the virtual char.
    Once the logic is written then you can use this char in your query .

    http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/docs/guide/language/autoboxing.html
    Since JDK 1.5, you can do the below:
    public class TestAB {
         public static void main(String[] args) {
              int i = 0;
              Integer a = ++i;
              System.out.println(a);
              i = 1 + a;
              System.out.println(i);

  • Need to convert values into coma separated

    Need to convert values into coma separated
    I have a string value that stores data like 'NYK,IND,SGP,GER'
    FOR EXAMPLE
    V_CITY_CODE = 'NYK,IND,SGP,GER'
    When I query
    select * from city where city_code = V_CITY_CODE;I get no rows, this is because V_CITY_CODE has all city code as single code.
    I need a function to search , and replace with ','.
    I tried using instr and replace but was unable to convert it.
    could some one pls assist me.
    thanks in advance
    Saz
