Additional fields in Query

Hi
I would like to add additional for a infotype  in SQ02.
Any one worked on this please let me know  and  field should be avaliable in  'AF' structures .

Hi Kamesh,
Select the infoset in SQ02 and go in change mode. On left side, you can see tables you have used for JOIN. if you expand tables, you will find all the fields in that perticular table. Now, you can just drag-&-drop fields you want from this field list in to field group at the right corner.

    Hello,
    In Quick Viewer, you cannot define local fields. You may convert (In SQ01->Query->Convert Quickview) SQVI Query into an SQ01 Query and then define local field.

  • Additing Field to Query Report in PLD

    We have created a user query. Created report though Query Manager. Edited report through Query Print Layout.
    If we add another field to the original query, even when we add the field to the report in PLD the field does not print.
    Any suggestions?

    This is the tricky part with QPLD.
    Once you create the report from a query the query does not get refreshed into the report.   The query itself is saved in a table and the same is referenced each time you run the QPLD.
    therefore if you change the query you need to create a new QPLD layout for the changes to take effect.
    So try not to create a QPLD before you are completely sure about the data

  • Additional field in adhoc query

    Hi all, I need to be able to report on the IT105 subtype 0001 system ID for employees who are withdrawn from the company, however, when someone leaves their IT105 record is delimited so adhoc query will not output anything.  Has anyone coded an additional field that will look at the latest record regardless of the date?

  • SAP Query - Additional field that collects information from table RESB

    Hello gurus. I have a question.
    I want to create a SAP Query that shows me the stock level of a list of materials, and also show me the total quantity of order reservations in an additional field.
    I created an InfoSet with table MARD, which is the one that holds the Stock information in a plant. Then I created an additional field which would read information from table RESB, the table that holds order reservations per material.
    So I wrote this piece of code:
    SELECT * FROM RESB
    WHERE MATNR EQ MARD-MATNR and
           WERKS EQ MARD-WERKS.
    ENDSELECT.
    if ( sy-dbcnt NE '0').
          MOVE RESB-BDMNG to ZQTY.
    ELSE.
          MOVE '' to ZQTY.
    ENDIF.
    This works fine. However, this is currently just catching the first record in table RESB that matches my condition.
    What I would like is to collect every instance of RESB-BDMNG and add them to field "ZQTY", have it loop in RESB until it finishes finding every record that match the MATNR and WERKS. With this I could get the total number of order reservations that this material has in that table.
    Could someone share some coding that would help me achieve this?

    While I'm at it, let me ask you a related question.
    When I execute the query, in the first records of the query where there's no value from RESB to transfer, the value of field ZQTY appears empty. Once it finds the first record in RESB and it populates ZQTY with a value, then the rest of the records with no hit get the proper value of 0.
    Do you know why the first records in the query appear empty and not with a 0? Is there anything I should add to the coding to fix this?

  • Adhoc query Issue in IT0001- Additional fields.

    Hi Everyone,
            Im facing issue in adhoc query, In IT0001- Additional field .The supervisor name is not getting displayed in the output  even though personnel number is getting fetched.Output value attributes is  chosen  as 'value and text'.
    Details of the field:
    Name of the field: Personnel number of superior (Org. Manag
    Technical name :SYHR_A_P0001_AF_OMNGR_NR (Additional field)
    This is happening after the implementation of A3 to A9 notes.

    Did you try Ted's solution of identifying the "addtional field 'SYHR_A_P0001_AF_OMNGR_NA' "as a displayed field ?
    Note that if that field is not already in your Info-Set, you will have to add it (using t-code sq02).

    We have a requirement in HR reporting wherein we are providing the late attendance records of the employees. That is the person is scheduled to come at a respective time but he comes in late and this record is created in attendence infotype . Now we need to see the variance in his planned and actual arrival . Majorly all the fields are availabe in the Infosets but the one with the variance is not there . So do we need to create a custom report for the same or it can be handled in the SAP query adding one field for calculation. If it can be handled , how can that be possible .

  • Additional field in selection screen of a abap query

    Hi,
    I am adding a new additional field in the selection screen through abap query(using transaction SQ02) which is of type VBRK-FKSTO.
    The value entered can be 'X' or empty space.But the value which is entered in the selection screen is not getting reflected in the code.Kindly advice me on what needs to be done to capture the selection screen value in the code.

    You can add new field in VFX3 selection screen as follow. In the report code we can see various explicit enahcement points provided by SAP.One of them is ENHANCEMENT-POINT sdblbddl_01 SPOTS es_sdblbddl STATIC. Here you can declare your selection screen parameters.  Then in the processing i can see a call customer fucntion happening in VBSK_DISPALY which you can implement to add your logic.

  • Populating Additional Field in InfoSet Query

    Hello,
    My team and I are working on generating a relatively simple report from the VBAK (Sales Header), VBAP (Sales Items) and VEDA (Date data) tables.  We would prefer to be able to build an InfoSet (SQ02) and Query (SQ01) instead of writing a custom report.
    The problem is the VEDA table contains data that may link to the VBAK and sometimes the VBAP table.  The usage is that the header has begin and end dates for a contract, which is denoted by a blank value in POSNR field in the VEDA table.  If a particular line on a contract has different dates than the header, there will be an additional record in the VEDA table where the POSNR value matches the POSNR value from the VBAP (Item) record.
    The link to the VBAP table is straight forward being keyed off of the VBELN (doc number) and the POSNR (item number) fields in both tables.  However, there's isn't a POSNR field in the VBAK (header) table and the VEDA table shows this as a blank value in the POSNR field.
    The simplest thing I can think of doing is link the VEDA table to the VBAP and let it retrieve all the exact matches on Sales Doc & Item Number but add two "Additional Fields" to the Query that would represent the Sales Header begin and end dates.
    I know how to add an additional field but how would you "re-query" the VEDA table and under which option under the Code tab.

    3. Here after selecting language key from MAKT, by default this will take SY-LANGU always for the case.
    4. To make it applicable for different languages we can code in INITIALIZATION Event.
    5. To do so we can do it by two options: Use menupath: Goto->Code->Initialization
    i) First option using variable: <b>MAKT-SPRAS = SY-LANGU.</b>.
    ii) Second option using Parameter-Id: <b>SET PARAMETER ID 'SPR' FIELD SY-LANGU</b>.
    6. Save & Generate.
    Now when we execute the query, we are defaulting the language as System Language.

  • Additional field in SAP Query

    This problem is about sap query. I have created an additional field in an infoset. The initial header text of this additional field is english. Then I created a query which use the additional field as an output field. If I use this query in other language, however the additional field header remains english. How can I maintain addtional field header to support mutil-language?

  • Adhoc query -sq02- Additional fields

    HI experts
    I am working additional fields in SQ02 .
    I added a additional field for an infotype in SQ02  .Issue when I go to Tcode PQAH and run the query .I Could not able to see the selections check box for my additional fields which is useful to select as input field .
    And when I right click on my additional field I could see  options 'Only value'  but for other fields I could see ' only value ' , 'only text' and ' value and text' .
    If any one worked on these kind of issues .Please give pointers .and requirement is specific.

    What i need:
    input: material, SLED, plant
    output: material, SLED, plant, values from characteristic field.
    I have created sap query with additional field type c.
    Below my code:

    1. How i can return internal table into standard abap type, because i can create additional field only with standart types.
    2. Need i fetch exporting parameters before calling FM? Or sap query do it automatically, based on given values on selection screen of the report?
    3. How i can return only needed field from FM output? Now, when i'm executing FM via SE37 it's show desired result, but when i'm getting it from code i see strange values.
    4. If i don't know exactly return by an FM values, how i can fill structure dynamically?
    5. How i can return result of a program not only to additional field but to layout?

    HI,
    IN SQ02, IF table is already in JOIN, just click on the PLUS sign to expand the strcture.
    All the field showing Plus sign in the strcture are selected in your query and with MINUS sing are no selected.
    So you have to just click on the MINUS sign for the field you want to use through table field.
    Generate the query and execute thriugh SQ01.
    If you want to add some other field which is not a part of JOIN,
    then click on EXTRAS Button shown in the MENU option.
    Click on Create button and system will ask abt the additional field.

    I have added a couple of additional fields to an infoset query using SQ02.
    I have also written code for filling in the fields.
    I have also added them to some Field Groups.
    Despite this, when I run the query, they are not being displayed in the output list.
    What could be the reason for this?

    goto change.. just below output, you have a drop down for field group and field catalog. select field catalog.

  • Add color to an Additional Field inside a SAP Query (Infoset) in ALV

    I made an Infoset (transaction SQ02) out of table MARC. I created an Additional Field called "STATUS" which I coded to get a value of 1 or 2 depending on the value of another field in MARC.
    How can I make this cell in the resulting Query to appear in different colors depending on the value? I found the command "FORMAT" but that doesn't work on SAP List Viewer (ALV) mode.
    This is what I coded in the additional field called STATUS::
    clear: STATUS.
    if MARC-DISPO = 001.
      format intensified color = 6.
      move '1' to STATUS.
    else.
      format intensified color = 7.
      move '2' to STATUS.
    endif.
    The coloring didn't work. What ABAP command should I add to this additional field to make the coloring of the STATUS cell work under ALV mode?

    field catalog and layout are saved into database aqrdb
    just before displaying the results into ALV table, they are retrieved by function RSAQRT_ALV_DISPLAY which does
    concatenate rtmode-act_report sy-langu into l_srtfd_pattern.
      import fieldcat = fieldcatalog
             layout   = layout
             sort     = sort
             from database aqrdb(lv) id l_srtfd_pattern.
    so in order to display some cells with a different color, you have to
    - add an additional field that will contain the color codes of cells
    - set values in this field at record level (field is a table of type LVC_T_SCOL)
    but also adapt the layout in order to set the field as containing the colors
    - put the name of this field into layout (CTAB_FNAME)
    - export layout to corresponding entry of aqrdb
    this part I don't see exactly where to put it, I guess there is some place where it is possible to manage the layout - if not then you have to do it "manually" i.e. with a small report
