Addressing Individual Radio Buttons Using Conditional Statements

Hello Everyone
I don't know a lot about writing code, just basic things. The last thing I touched was C++ while in college and that was over 10 years ago. However,
I have four radio buttons. let's say A, B, C, and D. Using Acrobat 8 and FORMCALC, is there a way to address each individual radio button in an IF/THEN statement? For example, if A is selected, then display the number 1, if B is selected, display the number 2 and so on. Apparently, these buttons are sub-components of a main object, I get errors when I try to refer to each sub-component. Any help would most certainly be welcomed.

Unfortunatley, my inexperience with this language and working with objects will become apparent b/c I am having problems with the syntax as you'll see below.
>The RadioButtonList name is "RObject1"
>The three individual radio buttons are named R1, R2 and R3 with values of 30, 60, 90 respectively

Obviously, my supposing that RObject1 would take on the value of whatever button was selected does not seem to be the case or I am incorrectly addressing the object.

Read the API for a meaning of each of the arguments. Here is a simple example showing how to assign an "Action" to the Ctrl+1 and Ctrl+2 keys:

Yes, it can be done. You just need to reference the actual button, rather than the radio button group.
It is best if you name the radio button group AND all of the individual radio buttons.
If the radio button group was named "myRadioButtons" and the three rb were named "yesRB", "noRB", and "maybeRB". All of this is in the hierarchy.
Then this script in the click event of the checkbox would work:

myRadioButtons.maybeRB.presence = "hidden";
else
myRadioButtons.maybeRB.presence = "visible";

Using AppBuilder, how to get addressability to Radio buttons???

Trying top test is any of the Radio Buttons have been selected? When I press the "Test Connection" button and go into the Event method, I am tryiing to get addressability to the see if any of the Radio Buttons where pressed?
I have added this Code below (getting an addressability issue) after reading UI5 doc, which states that I could check the Index of the selected/checked RadioButton for a group???

Autofill a radio button using other radio buttons

I would like a question on my form "Q24 Decrease Smoke" (set of "Yes"/"No" radio buttons) to auto fill with a response of "No" if the user selects "Not at all" to 3 other questions (also sets of radio buttons). If the user selects any other response to any of these 3 questions, I want the user to be able to manually select either "Yes" or "No". This is the code that I've tried, under the Mouse Up event of the "No" radio button option for Q24:

Have you tried to the set the value to to "No"?
The "Mouse Up" action only works when there is a "Mouse Up" action for the field.
I would look at using the script in the 'On Blur" action for the 3 fields with adjustments for the fields as needed for the field where the script is used.

Using conditional statements stored inside a variable

I'm trying to store the body of different emails inside of my
database to use in email sent with cfmail. The content of the
emails has conditional statements using cfif and other variables
based on a query running. If I set the content as a variable and
then place that inside of the cfmail tag it does not process the
cold fusion code. Is there a way that I can process this code so
that the final output is what is placed within the cfmail tag or is
it not possible to do what I'm trying to accomplish? Thanks in

How to use Conditional statements in SQL Loader control file

I am using sql loader to load a flat file to the table. I am using control file for this purpose as show below:

INTO TABLE store_shrink
TRUNCATE
FIELDS TERMINATED BY " "

ST_SHRINK char,
ST_REVENUE char,
SHRINK_PR char ":ST_SHRINK/:ST_REVENUE"
My question is this. If in the flat file the value of 'ST_REVENUE' is '0', then I want 'SHRINK_PR' to be '0' as well, and skip the calculation (:st_shrink/:st_revenue).
How to achieve this with the conditional statement or using any Oracle function?
Any help or suggestion is greatly appreciated.

I tried " many options of the "select list with redirect .... with submit .... but I was not successfful. All I am trying to achieve is to offer a list of departments ... but when the user select "other", I want to show a text field for the user to type in the "other Department" ... without losing what I had already entered in the form previously and without actually Submitting the form . I still have other fields to enter after the select list .
Is that possible with pure HTMLDB ?
Or do I have to craft up some Javascript .
I'd prefer pure HTMLDB .. I do not want to use javascript, to avoin a maintenance nightmare once I submit the code to other developers ...

I need to show an item with label when user selects certain radio button. This sounds like the opposite to f_Hide_On_Value_Item_Row function.
Can this task be done with apex built-in javascript functionality at this moment?

Fillable forms with radio buttons (Using Adobe Reader X)

I have two questions: First question, I have a fillable form with "yes" and "no" radio buttons. Currently the radio defaults to answer "yes", but I would like both the "yes" and "no" fields to be empty, which would allow the user to select an answer on his or her own. Second question, is there a way to make an answer required before moving on to the next question?

You need to check and make sure that the options for each radio button do not have the "Button is checked by default" selected.
You can make all the following answer radio buttons "read only" and only after one of the choices for the preceding question has been answered are the radio buttons for the next question are write enabled.
You will need Acrobat to create the form.

We have requierment like , Wanted to havev two radio buttons Employee Relative : YES or NO values.
These radio buttons I wanted to add on Oracle Provided page using personlization. But the Values for the radio buttons should be YES and another button is No.

Using personalization you can create radio button s, the item style as: Message Radio Button
and then extend the controller and use the below code in processrequest of the extended or custom controller:

When adding Radio Buttons ("Yes and "No") to a swing application and putting them under a button group. Selecting "Yes" the "No" choice diappears

(=> the value which the object returns to the radio group)
Means: the 'radio button value' of my object 'rb_1' shall be 1, in other circumstances 99 and so on.

I don't know of any JRadioButtonGroup class.
A ButtonGroup is just a simple data structure that ensures that only one button is selected. It is not a component.
Just add your JRadioButtons to a JPanel with any LayoutManager you wish.
