ADF Mobile: Dynamic action calls based on a listView item selection

I've currently got some supporting data that provides the "name", "description", an "image", and a "navigation" per row.  I populate a listView based on this collection and assign the name to the list item text, the image to the list item image, and I am attempting to create some dynamic navigation to the next mobile page based on the value of the "navigation" in the data.
I attempted to use #{row.navigation} as the action for the listItem, but I am getting an error "Cannot find property row" at run-time when I click on an element.  I know the row data for navigation is correctly there because I can feed the #{row.navigation} into the listItem's text property and it shows up correctly there.  I also made sure that the value in this navigation corresponds to a valid action in the task.
Is there another way to do this?

Thanks,

Thanks for a quick response.
I think I'm missing something since it did not populate any value.
Here is what I did based on the code you provided.
I've created dynamic action on field Type to execute a javascript code you provided when the value in this filed changes. The output or the items(s) affected is set to Address1 field. I didn't change the code except replacing the the actual value of Type and Label.
Then I went to Address1 field and on the 'Label' I put the code <span id="dynamic_label"></span>. It returns nothing.
Am I missing anything? Am I suppose to change something else as well.
Your help is really appreciated.

  • Unable to create a dynamic action ALERT to be generated on a Select List when particular value is selected.

    Hi everyone, this should be so easy, yet I am stuck.
    I have a form region with an item P110_VESSEL_ID.   This item is a select list.   It is based on the query:
    select distinct v.vessel_name, v.vessel_id
    from vessels vessels v, frequent_fishermen ff
    where ff.dea_permit_id = :G_PERMIT_ID and
    ff:vessel_id = v.vessel_id
    UNION
    select v.vessel_name, v.vessel_id
    from apex_collections a, vessels v
    where collection_name = 'SUPVES_COLLECTION' and
    a.c002 = v.vessel_id
    If the user decides against the values in the select list query, they may opt to SELECT ALL VALUES.  This SELECT ALL VALUES is a POST ELEMENT TEXT on P110_VESSEL_ID.
    <a id="popVessels" href="#"><font color=blue>Select from ALL Vessels</a>
    This all works fine.
    The issue is that when the user selects a vessel name = 'UNKNOWN' and it's corresponding vessel_id value, I would like an ALERT to appear indicating that they should double check that the vessel is UNKNOWN and not that the is no vessel.
    I created a dynamic action
    event= change
    select type = item
    item = P110_VESSEL_ID
    True ACtion #1 is the ALERT.
    I currently have no other logic, but cannot even get this to work.  Any thoughts.   I have also tried the SELECT TYPE = jQuery Selector = select[name='P110_VESSEL_ID'] but that does not work either (though I am not certain if the value should be P110_VESSEL_ID or the static name of VESSEL_ID).
    Any help is appreciated.
    ps.  the page is not submitted when the vessel is changed.  There is other data that needs to be entered both in this region and others and many validations run when submit, so the submit would not be an option.
    thanks again,
    Karen

    This should work.  Sometimes I've see where there is other javascript on the page that may have some errors and is causing the dynamic action code to not be executed.  Use your favorite browser script console to try and determine if this may be the case.

    P.S. Your jQuery selector can be: select#P110_VESSEL_ID

  • Help using a dynamic action to update tabular form items (specifically radio button) based on collection

    Hi Everyone, I have posted this question in the past and made huge progress with Denes Kubicek's help:  https://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=31517:294:115851992029365::::: based on my earlier question posted: https://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=2537494
    I am struggling with one item in my tabular form.  It is a radio button.  The choices all appear properly, but the value is not saved in the collection (and hence, not saved in the table).  All other items in the tabular form save properly.
    here is what I have for the query.   It is item c024 (which maps to ;'f03'), which is defined as a radio LOV based on an existing LOV.
    Currently I have:

    where collection_name = 'SPECIES_COLLECTION' order by seq_id
    I have noticed the following:
    when I change column C011 (price) the following values are set in the dynamic action:
    P110_ID = f11_1
    P110_VALUE = whatever I change the price to.
    when I change the column C024 (hms_flag), the following values are set:
    P110_ID = f03_0001
    P110_VALUE = whatever I change hms_flag to.
    the region is refreshed in my dynamic action, and the change for hms_flag does not hold.  I have tested the SQL query that generates the value for v_SEQ in the dynamic action.   In both a change to price and HMS_FLAG it appears valid
    select ltrim(substr(:p110_ID,5,4),'0') into v_seq from dual;
    if f11_1, v_seq:= 1
    if f03_0001, v_seq := 1
    thank you!

    solved.  sort of.
    field c024 references f03.
    the Dynamic ACtion, step 4 calculates v_member by taking a substring of P110_ID...and in all other fields, the column and the field (fxx) are the same value....except for c024.
    I am not certain exactly how to resolve, but see the problem.

  • Dynamic action - show/hide region based on LOV which returns ID

    Hi folks,
    this should be simple, so someone who works with dynamic actions.
    I have a LOV which is based on below query:
    select OBJECT_ID, KOD
      from x_data x;
    retuns:
       ID          KOD
        492961 BMW
        492964 VOLVO
        492960 MERCEDES
        492963 VOLKSWAGEN
        492959 SKODAItem :P200_KOD is based on LOV which displays KOD and returns ID.
    On my page I have also 1 region called TEST_REGION.
    I would like to set up a dynamic action shich will SHOW/HIDE a TEST_REGION based on selected value in item :P200_KOD (LOV). Region should be showed if displayed (KOD) value of selected ID starts with 'V%'
    By other words, if below query returns any record, then SHOW, else HIDE:
       select *
        from x_data x
      where x.kod like 'V%'
         and x.object_id = :P200_KOD;How should I define a triggering condition for dynamic action, for item :P200_KOD?
    Thanks,
    Tomas

    Hi,
    One way:
    Create advanced dynamic action.
    Name : Hide region
    Event : Change
    Selection Type : Item(s)
    Items(s) : P200_KOD
    Condition : JavaScript Expression
    Value :
    $(this.triggeringElement).children("option:selected").html().substring(0,1) !== "V"Action : Hide
    Fire On Page Load : True
    Hide all page items on the same line : No
    False Action : Show
    Fire On Page Load : True
    Show all page items on the same line : No
    Selection Type : Region
    Region : TEST_REGION

  • Need Help calling Dynamic Action from Link in Interactive Report

    Hello I have an Interactive Report. I would like to have a Dynamic Action called when the user selects a row (Clicks a Link).
    I am running Application Express 4.0.2.00.07 on Oracle 11gR1.
    Any help would be great.

    Hi VANJ,
    Sorry for the poorly written original post. I will be much more specific.
    I have a Interactive Report on page 40. That report has a column named X_UID that is a link back to page 40 and sets a text item named P40_X_UID in a Region we will call "Form X" with the value of the column. That page refresh also then calls a Automated Row Fetch process to fetch all the values needed for the rest of the page items in the "Form X" region. Also "Form X" region has a conditional display on to only display when P40_X_UID is not null.
    What I would like to do:
    When the user clicks on link in the IR for X_UID instead of the "Form X" region becoming visible I would like to become modal. I am trying to use a Plug-In named "ClariFit Simple Modal - Show". I have it working with a Dynamic Action when you click a Page Item. But I would like to to work when the link is clicked and the data populated.
    I hope that helps some.

  • Calling earliest record in a dynamic action

    Hi all,
    I am using dynamic actions to call infotype 0016 when user creates a new record in infotype 19. I am opening this infotype 0016 in change mode.
    Now,  I want that the earliest record of infotype 0016 should come in the change mode and not the latest one.
    Please suggest what to do for that?
    Thanks
    Ribhu

    Hi Do in this way..
    Call a routine...
    There is a structure RP50D which is accessible in dynamic action...
    Structure is :
    FIELD1
    DATE1
    DATE2
    FLAG1
    .INCLUDE  CI_INCLUDE
    in side that routine find out the record for ur particular date..
    and pass BEGDA and ENNDA for that record to RP50D-DATE1 and RP50D-DATE2.
    and in dynamic action call :
    COP,0016,,,(RP50D-DATE1),(RP50D-DATE2)
    if u want more fields then u can include in CI include..
    Hope it will work
    reward if helpful

  • ADF Mobile : ADFUtils equivalent

    Hello everyone,
    just working on my first ADF Mobile app.
    Wondering whether there is an equivalent for ADFUtils & JSFUtils?
    My current case is to figure out the real ID from a select one choice based on a view object.
    I always get the index back, not the real id. So I need to have access to the view object itself.
    In ADFUtils we had something like findIterator. I'm looking for something similar.
    Thanks in advance.
    Filip

    Hi, Filip, I think you will need to use a programmatic approach to invoke these web services on the client side. Even if you set up LOVs/View Accessors on the server-side ADF BC, these data relationship are not passed to the client via the WSDL. You would need to model these data objects and associated relationship in Java Objects on the client side, and then expose these Java Objects as Bean data controls.
    The HR Sample app should help - look in the edit.amx page, and see how Dept ID or Manager ID in the Employee data object are handled. Basically, you would create the data structure in data objects, and expose these data as Bean DC. You can then drag/drop the child data objects (like Dept ID in an employeeList DC) to create a selectOneChoice component. ADF Mobile's DT should then correctly create the proper binding for the selectOneChoice control.
    This may still create some performance issues if you have multiple of these LOVs in one screen - each of the LOVs would require one WS call to server to get the data back. If you have many of these LOVs in one page and the values do not change frequently, you will want to cache the LOVs into a local DB or somehow retrieve the LOV values all at once when app starts up. Otherwise the application will not perform.
    Building an on-device mobile app has the additional complexity of needing to reduce number of RTs between client and server. For a web application, populating LOVs are all internal to server-side environment, and there are clever server-side caching mechanism to help with the performance. For an ADF Mobile app, any call can require one or more RTs to the server, which can significantly impact overall performance.
    To ensure flexibility, in general almost all ADF Mobile apsp would require programmatic approach to consume client side services.
    If you require additional details, please let me know.
    Thanks,
    Joe Huang

  • Dynamic action setvalue from pl/sql function

    Hi,
    I have a currency table with exchange rate column.
    I created a form that allow user to select currency from the table and get the rate into Px_RATE page items.
    I would like to implement it using Dynamic action in apex 4
    Please help me on this case
    Thanks & regards

    Hi,
    You can achieve this by defining a dynamic action as follows...
    #1 - Right click on the page item used to select the currency (let's call it P1_CURRENCY for purposes of this example) and select 'Create Dynamic Action'
    #2 - Select 'Advanced' as we're going to use the 'Set Value' dynamic action type, which is not available in the 'Standard' branch of the wizard.
    #3 - Name your dynamic action, say 'GET RATE', click 'Next'.
    #4 - Leave the 'When' attributes as default, this just defines that the dynamic action will fire whenever the currency item changes, click 'Next'.
    #5 - For the 'True Action > Action' select 'Set Value'
    #6 - Think about whether you want to set the value on page load from the dynamic action also, if so leave the 'Fire on Page Load' checkbox checked.
    #7 - [Assuming you have a simple PL/SQL API that returns the rate, say get_rate for example] Select 'Set Type' of 'PL/SQL Function Body'
    #8 - For 'PL/SQL Function Body' specify something like: return get_rate(:P1_CURRENCY);#9 - For 'Page Items to Submit', specify the currency item P1_CURRENCY and click 'Next'
    #10 - For the 'Affected Elements' specify 'Item' and then select the page item where you want to return the rate value, say P1_RATE.
    #11 - Click 'Create'.
    Let me know if this works for you or if you have any further questions.
    Regards,
    Anthony.

  • Fire javascript first and then dynamic action

    Hi,
    I am using Oracle Apex 4.1.
    In one of my reports data fields, there are few fields with hyperlinks.
    Ex: I have report and one of the field states "Enter Code", so when the user clicks "Enter Codes" URL it fires a javascript which sets specific value to the hidden item and opens a modal form to enter the codes.
    So when the form opens, if there are any values for the codes, I need to show the codes in the form and I want to write a dynamic action which sets the values after the form opens.
    So my requirement is:
    On Click of a link, Call javascript defined on the page and then make a dynamic action call.
    I need to call javascript from the url as I need to set some parameters passed from the javascript.

    Hi,
    I found something, that would be interesting to fire dynamic actions from javascript.
    But make sure you don't change the order of the dynamic actions.
    Make a call to this from your javascript code
    apex.da.actions($("#P5_HID_TEST"),apex.da.gEventList[1],"change",null);
    actions : function(pSelector, pEvent, pBrowserEvent, pData)

  • Set Cascading LOV Item using Dynamic Action

    Hi all,
    I have the following page item:
    P1_USERNAME
    P1_COMPANY  (LOV)
    P1_DIVISION (LOV)
    P1_DEPT (LOV)
    Item P1_COMPANY, P1_DIVISION, and P1_DEPT are cascading LOV on my page.
    I also have a table that contains the user and his/her company, division, and department.
    So I have a dynamic action that when P1_USERNAME is entered. The dynamic action will pull the COMPANY, DIVISION, and DEPT information from the table and populate the page item accordingly.
    I got the dynamic action working, I can confirm this by checking the Session State of the items.
    BUT I cannot get the LOVs to display the selected value from the session state. They always reset back to "- Please Select -", which is my display value when NULL.
    For example:
    I have a record like in the table:
    Username :alex
    Company : Finance Inc.
    Division : Admin
    Dept : HR
    When I entered the username into P1_USERNAME, this is what I see in the screen.
    Username :alex
    Company : - Please Select -
    Division : - Please Select -
    Dept : - Please Select -
    While the session states of the items have been set correctly as per the record in the database.
    Has anyone experienced this before?
    I think it's because the parent LOV (company), reset the child LOVs (division and dept), when the dynamic action kicks in.
    Thanks.

    I've just taken a look at your sample page and don't think this issue is actually too complicated to solve. (Actually, it was I who was mucking around in page 1, sorry for that. I was looking at it and then had to go. Picked it up again later on and just made a copy this time)
    You change the employee. The dynamic action fires, executes plsql and sets the values in the company2/division2/dept2 fields
    Company 1 is a cascading lov. Empo has changed? Company refreshes. Cascading for division and dept as well.
    You can see this happening in sequence as well when looking at the page. Select emp, it'll hang for a second. You then get the select list refresh icons.
    The sequence in which this happens is of course a bit wrong. You set the values for the items on the client side first, but then their refresh is kicked in, and so the value setting is simply lost again.
    What makes this annoying is how P1_EMPNO is a cascading lov parent of P1_COMPANY. Changing P1_EMPNO will refresh the lovs beneath it. However, you can't simply set their values after you've retrieved the user's company/division/dept, because each lov is dependent on the one above it. Eg you change the employee. The company lov is refreshed. Because the it is refreshed, the division lov will refresh. Now you can set the value of the company lov, but not that of the division one. Why is this? The lov for division requires the value of company in the session state. If you'd set the value for company after it has finished refreshing, it will already be too late for division to pick up the value set. .
    I made a copy of your page to page 5, “tom”.
    The first I did was removing the cascade from the company lov. You don’t need this. There are simply no parent lovs for this lov, as is evident from the sql for it. The companies always remain the same companies even when you select another person; it is not dependent on another item for its values.
    Then the timing issues come in play, and with them there is also the issue of the session state.
    So now companies always show. You pick a user, it runs the PLSQL block and put values in the P5_xxx2 items. P5_COMPANY can be set now, and this is in the set value of the dynamic action. By not suppressing the change event, a refresh will be triggered on its cascading lov, P5_DIVISION.
    Refreshing P5_DIVISION will only get the new lov values (constrained within the chosen company) for this item though, and not set the value. We already have the values in P5_DIVISION2 however, and thus can use the “After Refresh” dynamic action on P5_DIVISION to do this. In short: company gets set, divisions refresh to show the correct divisions, and then the selected value is set. Again, by not suppressing the change event on this item the depending lov on DEPT will be refreshed.
    Then by using another “After Refresh” dynamic action on P5_DEPT we can set the selected value once more.
    Also important is that I changed P5_DIVISION to submit P5_COMPANY when it is refreshed, and P5_DIVISION when P5_DEPT is refreshed. This makes sure that the correct set of values is retrieved and probably why you were struggling aswell. After company has changed and division has refreshed, the value on division is set. But the correct divisions are shown only because the chosen company has been set in the session state.
    The same for division - dept. After the refresh of division, the chosen value for division is set. This change will trigger the refresh on dept, and because dept has the division in its page items to submit list, the correct values will be retrieved.
    Take note that the “debug items” are required in this solution though. Just set them as hidden and unprotect their value. Your goal should be to reduce the amount of roundtrips to the server. Why do a plsql (ajax) call just to retrieve a session state, when the value is already on the page and all in one action? Three hidden items is just so much easier than 3 extra ajax calls, the tradeoff is plenty.
    There is one more noteworthy point, and that is the fact that dept is being retrieved twice. That makes sense because of the cascading lovs. Initially company is changed, and this will refresh division and this in turn will trigger a refresh on dept. At this point the lov for dept will be empty, because division will be empty. Because we set the value of division again after it has refreshed, this will trigger a second refresh on dept, though now the correct list of values is retrieved because division has a value set. Not that big an issue, but good to point out. If you’d have another cascading lov beneath dept, it would refresh three times.

  • Dynamic action - Cache server data

    APEX 4.2.2
    Is there a way to cache server side data in a global (page/document level) Javascript vector (bunch of key-value pairs) (associative array, array of objects or some such)? This way the data can be used by subsequent dynamic actions' Javascript code without querying the server over and over.
    I see that apex_util.json_from_sql is still undocumented after all these years. Are there any examples of using that API to do this sort of thing? Can someone please share?
    Thanks

    I took a shot at this and it seems to work well using Javascript global objects for data storage. Hope this helps someone.
    1. Page attributes - Javascript global variables var gData,gLookup={};2. On-demand application process Get_Emps as apex_util.json_from_sql('select empno,ename from emp');3. Page Load dynamic action to invoke the application process and cache the data var get = new htmldb_Get(null,$v('pFlowId'),'APPLICATION_PROCESS=Get_Emps',$v('pFlowStepId'));
    var retval=get.get();get=null;
    gData=apex.jQuery.parseJSON(retval);
    $.each(gData.row,function(i,obj){
       gLookup[obj.EMPNO]=obj.ENAME;
    });4. EMPNO page item - Standard OnChange dynamic action to SetValue of ENAME page item using the cached data - Javascript expression gLookup[$v(this.triggeringElement)]
    We document something when it is ready to be supported. This specific procedure isn't something we haven't invested in, and thus, per our discretion, have elected not to document or support it at this time.Fair enough.

  • Theme 11, live scope for dynamic action not working in IE

    Hello all,
    I use theme 11, and I have a dynamic action on page 0 that fixes a region width, because it is too long to match the page width. I set the Event Scope to "live" because the region is a report and it has many rows and pagination is needed. When I have to go to page 16-30 from 1-15 and if there is a record which is longer than the current 15, page is partially refreshed and the width is changed, but that works for Mozilla and Chrome. In IE the dynamic action from page 0 is not triggered, in spite of the live event scope and I don't know why. Is there a way I can fix that problem?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Ivan,
    Thanks for the information, this is indeed an interesting case. I'm assuming you have 'Enable Partial Page Refresh' in the report attributes set to 'Yes'. Please let me know if this is not the case.
    I don't think an event of 'Page Load' with a scope of 'live' is correct. The 'live' event is a way of saying, attach some behaviour to something on a page (eg a delete icon in a report row is clicked), and keep that behaviour 'alive' even if that part of the page is updated (eg the report paginates with PPR to the next set or results, and clicking on the delete icon in the report still works). However here, when the event is page load, I don't think specifying 'live' will do what you want.
    What I think you're really interested in is indeed when the page first loads, but then when the report is refreshed via PPR. Therefore, I would try the following:
    1) Change the dynamic action event to 'After Refresh'.
    2) Select the report region from the 'When > Selection' attributes (ensuring your report template contains a id="REGION_STATIC_ID" attribute, otherwise the DA won't work).
    3) In your 'Actions', ensure the 'Fire on Page Load' checkbox is checked.
    So this says do the action when the page loads, then always after the report is refreshed via PPR. This will fire after pagination, sorting or a dynamic action refresh.
    Interestingly (at least in my mind!), you can actually set the event scope back to 'bind' here. This is because as part of the DA framework, we purposefully attach the event handlers for report handling to an element that is not updated during PPR for pagination or sorting, it's higher up in the DOM tree. This gives slightly better performance than having to use 'live', which is more expensive computationally and yet still keeps the registered behaviours.
    Also something else which may help, you can check if the DA is firing when expected by using a JavaScript console (eg in Chrome native Developer tools, Firebug with Firefox), with application debugging enabled (Application Properties) and switched on (via developer toolbar). Load the JS console, and you'll be able to see when the DA fires.
    As far as the actual IE specific logic goes, I haven't looked into that too much yet, because I felt it was more important to get the DA firing correctly first, then see where we're at.
    Regards,
    Anthony.

  • Setting value of items based on a radio group selection

    Hi,
    I have a radio group with 3 values (let's say A, B, C)... at the moment I have dynamic actions set to hide and unhide items based on the selection from the radio group...
    e.g when value A is selected then only item_1 and item_2 are displayed, when value B is selected then only item_3 and item_4 are displayed... and so on...
    idea was to let users to only enter information related to specific selection... but with what I currently have, users can select option A from the radio group and can enter information in item_1 and item_2 and then they can change there minds and select option B and start entering information in item_3 and item_4 and when they save the form they potentially could have information in all items (item_1 to item_4 and so on)...
    Is there a way I can set the value of certain items to null based on the selection from the radio group... e.g when user select option A, then values of item_3 and item_4 be set to null and if they select option B, then values of item_1 and item2 be set to null...
    Please advice how to approach it the best... I would appreciate a step by step solution as I am a new bee...
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
    You can hide and disable other items.
    Disabled items values are not submitted.
    And you can create after submit computation that set NULL to item session state according your radio group state

  • Is it possible to call wcf webservice on adf mobile?

    Hi all,
    I tried to consume a wcf webservice method on adf mobile by using java api as seen as below code snippet.
    I tried to run on classical adf generic application by creating webservice proxy. Then i could get response properly. But when i consume webservice method on adfmobile i get http 501 error response. I have tried using drag and drop into amx page and execute binding action, result is same.
    What might be the reason?

    No, as far as i know they are not secured service. What if they are secured, do i need to authenticate during consuming method in webservice proxy, dont i. But as i said before, i could consume and get response on webservice proxy in regular adf project.
    I can consume methods of another webservice (i.e. http://www.html2xml.nl/Services/Calculator/Version1/Calculator.asmx?WSDL) also in all methods that presented.
    No, i can not obtain access on another way to server, it is remote and out of my control.
    Ok, i tried as you say.
    Problem exists here too. May be an interopability problem on between adf platform and wcf service? What do you think Mr Shmeltzer?

  • Info group being not called while using Dynamic Actions

    Hi,
    I am facing a scenario that, while we execute some action from PA40 like termination, then it will call my subroutine for dynamic actions which will be calculating the last day worked and updating the same in Info Type 0041.
    For updating the IT 0041, i am using the function module HR_MAINTAIN_MASTERDATA. and IT0041 is getting updated properly. But now the problem is coming that when the control comes out of subroutine, it is going back to the PA40 Screen and not to the next screen of the Info group.
    What can be the cause for the same.
    RND I have done on my part: I have commented/uncommented the return parametre RP50D-Date1, commented/uncomented the use of function modules to lock and Unlock the pernr.
    Please give ur comments.
    Thanks in Advance.

    Hi Nisha,
    Not sure if I have understood correctly, but if you just wanted to calculate leaving date and write the same date in IT0041 then you don't need a function module:
    1. Create a small program, as follows:
    REPORT  ZHR_PY_R0008                           .
    INCLUDE MPPDAT00.
    TYPE-POOLS HRQTA.
    TABLES: P0000,
            RP50D,
            T001P.
    ROUTINE CALLED BY TABLE T588Z
    FORM CHANGE_DATE.
      RP50D-DATE1 = P0000-BEGDA - 1 .
    ENDFORM.                    " CHANGE_DATE
    This program will give you the last working day written to RP50D-DATE1
    2. Simply enter the following lines into table T588Z:
    0000 04 499*- LEAVING ACTION - Populate Infotypes with leave date -*
    0000 04 500 P T001P-MOLGA='08'
    0000 04 501 P PSPAR-TCLAS='A'
    0000 04 502 P PSPAR-MASSN='*'/X   (* equals your leaving action types)
    0000 04 503 P PSPAR-MASSN='*'/X   (* equals your leaving action types)
    0000 04 504 F CHANGE_DATE(ZHR_PY_R0008)
    0000 04 505 ******** INF.0041  ********
    0000 04 506 I COP,0041,,,(P0000-BEGDA),(P0000-ENDDA)/D
    0000 04 507 W P0041-DAR07='*'   (* equals your date type)
    0000 04 508 W P0041-DAT07=RP50D-DATE1
    or if you are simply looking to delimit IT0041 with the leave date then replace lines 506-508 with:
    0000 04 506 I MOD,0041,,,(RP50D-DATE1),(RP50D-DATE1)/D
    0000 04 507W     P0041-ENDDA=RP50D-DATE1
    This will solve your problem : - )
