ADF: table changes are not getting refelcted properly

Hi,
I have an ADF form in a jsp which binds to some data in the DB table. I had to change a field to 'NOT NULL' in the data base. I updated the same value in the entity object by right clicking the entity object, and selecting the 'Synchronize with the Data base'. Now the field has become a required field. But when I try to save that data, it never validates the form as other fields. For other required fields, I get a pop up box saying 'A Value required'. But for this field, I get
JBO-27014: Attribute RebillIsTaxable in RebillService.RebillInfoView3 is required. I am wondering how this acts different than the other fields.
I also tried updating the vo and delted the field, and created it again in the jsp page.
Here is the code.
<af:selectOneChoice value="#{bindings.BillInfoView3RebillIsTaxable.inputValue}"
label="#{bindings.RebillInfoView3RebillIsTaxable.label}"
binding="#{CRBIF001.selectOneChoice4}"
id="selectOneChoice4" required="#{bindings.RebillInfoView3RebillIsTaxable.mandatory}">
<f:selectItems value="#{bindings.RebillInfoView3RebillIsTaxable.items}"
binding="#{CRBIF001.selectItems4}"
id="selectItems4"/>
</af:selectOneChoice>
Can any one help me to solve this issue?
Thanks,
priya

Hi,
I need the af:message tag as I use that to display other manual validation error. I am just wondering, how it works with other 'required' fields with out any coding. I just need to add 'required' attribute with the binding. But for this field, though I have the 'required' attribute, I get the error message instead the pop up message.
The field is a fixed drop down list with two values in it. I add a blank item too in the list. While this error message is displayed, I see two blank values inserted with the two fixed values. But when the page is rendered, it has one blank item.
Is there any thing I need to check here? But the page definition file has only one blank item. Here is the code.
<list id="RebillInfoView3RebillIsTaxable" ApplyValidation="true"
IterBinding="RebillInfoView3Iterator" ListOperMode="0"
StaticList="true" NullValueFlag="1">
<AttrNames>
<Item Value="RebillIsTaxable"/>
</AttrNames>
<ValueList>
<Item Value=" "/>
<Item Value="Exempt"/>
<Item Value="Taxable"/>
</ValueList>
</list>
Please let me know if I miss something in the code.
Thanks,
Priya

  • New changes are not getting reflected in the bam reports.

    Hi
    I have created a BPEL process and it polls the data from a table and populate an object created in Bam.I have accomplished the above task by createing two database adaptors.One is on 10g database and another one is on Bam database.I have created a view based on the bamobject and used a database adaptor to populate the data. BPEL process is populating the data properly to that bamobject but those changes are not reflecting to bam reports automaticaly. We need to refresh the report or reprompt the report to see the changes.Could some help me to reslove this issue.
    Thanks in advance
    Laj Abraham

    Hi charles
    I have tried that option too.But that is also not working. BPEL Procees is able to populate the BAM object with the help of the sensor.But those changes are not getting reflected in BAM Reports.But if i create or update an existing record in BAM object through BAM Architect, those changes are getting reflected in BAM Reports(No manual intervention is required).
    Your help in this regard is highly appreciated.
    Thanks

  • Termstore changes are not getting reflected in the list items in SharePoint 2010 farm environment

    Hi,
    I had created managed metadata with termstores from central admin. Then I had created one list in which added a column of type managed metadata using the managed metadata which I had created. And also added few list items to this list.
    The problem is that after updating a termstore the changes are not reflecting in the list items which were added before the update.
    I have referred the following links:
    http://www.paulgrimley.com/2011/02/managed-metadata-changes-not-applied-to.html
    http://davidfrette.wordpress.com/2010/05/26/taxonomy-update-scheduler%C2%A0timer%C2%A0job/
    According to the links we need to run Taxonomy Update Scheduler on the server for updated termstore to get reflected. After running
    this scheduler on development environment changes are getting reflected but not working on the production environment.
    Kindly help!
    Regards, Shruti

    You should check the obvious.  You made the change in dev, but did you make the change in production too?  And, is the term you updated, actually the one that you are looking at in the list item?
    There is not much, if anything, that can go wrong with that timer job. so I'd guess that the term you are looking at is not the one you think you are updating.
    If you have double checked everything (the term is is in fact the same term id), then you may have something erroring in the update process.  In this case, you should check the ULS logs for any errors.

  • Changes are not getting reflected in Process Chain after changes.

    Hello,
    I have modified a Process Chain in Development environment. I have created one new infopackage and included it in the process chain. I have also added two new change run variants in the process chain. I have collected the process chain and infopackage in a transport request and transported it to integration environment.
    Transport request has reached successfully in integration but the changes in process chain are not getting reflected. The infopackage has reached to integration after transport.
    I need some suggestion on this.
    Regards,
    Sanjay

    Hi Sanjay.......
    R u in Display mode..........click on Change mode...........
    If you can see the chain in Change mode............then ur process chain is imported in in-active version..........
    U can try activating it manually or re-transport the active version..........

    In the main page, there is a table, I select one row and then click on this commandButton, which launches the popup.
    The problem here is that when I launch the popup, there are many rows in the table and hence a scroll bar appears. Scroll down the popup and close the popup.
    Again I launch the popup, I see that the popup displays in the same state as it was closed before, i.e the scrollbar is at the bottom and the first row is not displayed.

    ...also do not forget to:
    1. adjust the Active property for the task flow binding (in the pageDef).
    Set property value to the true on popupFetchListener, and to the false when closing popup
    2. for the af:popup containing region, set childCreation to deffered

  • Why does my signal drops and takes a long time to search and connect when I turn on or off my cellular data? And normal text messages are not getting delivered properly. It shows sent but later it will show try again, Is it just me?

    I do not know what the problem is, but after the latest update it is really hard to send text messages. It is taking alot of time to send the messages, it is not the problem with the carrier because sending text messages with the same number in the same area is really easy on my normal nokia 1100. Please suggest me what I should check. Second problem I am facing is the carrier signal drops to nothing when I turn on the cellular data. It has to then search for the network and connect again the same happens when I turn the data off again. Please tell a solution. I do not think it is the problem with the hardware because the phone is hardly 2weeks old and everything was working properly with ios 6. It initaly had problem with the battery on updating to ios7 but that was rectified with the new update but again these are the new issues am facing.

    This may sound stupid, but I'm gonna throw it out there anyway. Is it possible, that if I have enough junk on my desktop it might disrupt the signal? It seems odd, but it kind of looks like my signal is strong and relatively steady now that I've cleaned my desktop. I do tend to get very cluttered. I use a lot of reference images and save text clippings to use later... it just piles up very quickly.
    So, I wonder if all that extra effort my system has to do keeping up with the junk might have something to do with the drop outs?

  • HT1386 When I try to sync changes from my playlist to my iphone the sync process gets to step 7, applying changes and then freezes up, the changes are not being put on my iphone. What do I do to correct this issue?

    When I try to sync changes from my playlist on the computer to my iphone the sync process gets as far as step 7, applying changes, then freezes up and the changes are not getting to my iphnoe.  How do I fix this issue?

    Are all these songs associated with the same Apple ID or were some purchased on another account?
    Are they tagged properly? In the library does it break an album out into several different albums with a few tracks each?
    Check your sync settings for each device. Do you accidentally have only certain songs/albums syncing?

  • T522N Changes are not reflecting automatically

    Dear Experts,
               I changed Name format(01) in customization table T522N.  After this if I go to PA0020, I am not able to see the name (P0001-ENAME) in new format.  They are still appearing as in old format.  If I change anything in PA0030 (eg : IT0002 values) and save it, then i can see the new name format for that particular person.  In brief, T522N changes are not getting reflected automatically. Go and change each and every records manually is not practical.  Kindly suggest some solution for this.  Thnaks in advance.

  • Deployement changes are not reflecting on Test Server

    Hello All,
    I have Local (development)environment , I have deployed this application in Test envoirment as well and working fine.
    I have identified some changes and made changes on local machine and tested, now I am trying to deploy same changes on Test.
    The changes are not getting reflect on Test.
    I have stoped application and have import the MSI file  also selected Overright resources check box same time, restarted the host instance and start application.
    Changes are not getting reflated on Test server. Should I needs to GAC some thing manually on Assembly ? How ????
    What else I can do to get it working  ?
    Note : Also have tried to delete application from TEST Env and imported MSI from DEV still same issue.
    Thanks and Regards, Nitin.

    you need to run the MSI after it is imported, ths GAcs the dll (and also
    adds the MSI package to show up under Add/Remove programs). If you just want to GAC the  compoent.
    Goto Resources folder on hyour application in Biztalk admin console
    Select the assembly in Resource, right click, select Modify
    Under Modify Resources - Options box, check the "Add to the Global Assembly Cache on MSI file import"
    Repeat for each Assembly or other resources in your application that you want in the GAC.
    The above option is using an msi. other option is simply gac the file to c:\Windows\assembly folder (either using gacutil  command or copying the assembly to this folder)

And the status of the managed servers is in FAILED state. When i checked the nohup logs, i can see "E297: Write Error In Swap File" and also the below error. But when i checked the disk space it is only 30 % full. Please suggest me something that can help me in this. Why is this behavior in the nohup.logs? have anyone faced anythign like this? Please help me.
    But after the recycle everything is fine. But i want to know what went wrong and why it got recovered after the recycle.

    This is what I've understood from your question. You want to replace @TradeIn_2_VIN value if @TradeIn_1_VIN
    is NULL, else the value of @TradeIn_1_VIN.
    If this is the requirement then, your CASE statement is missing ELSE part. You can re-write this as below
    case when  @TradeIn_1_VIN is null then @TradeIn_2_VIN
    ELSE @TradeIn_1_VIN end,
    or simply you can replace the CASE statement with the below
    COALESCE function,
    COALESCE(@TradeIn_1_VIN, @TradeIn_2_VIN),

  • Change Pointers are not getting populated in BDCPV table.

    Hi All,
             I am trying to create IDOC for Activity type master - KL02 through change pointers. For that I have done following things.
    Message type - COAMAS
    1. Created Custom message type - WE81 - ZIN_COAMAS_TCSMOBILE
    2. WE82 - Config for Mess Type and Idoc type combination
    3. SCDO - Checked object type LSTAR and have required tables in that object.
    4. BD61 - Activated Change pointers - Generally.
    5. BD50 - Checked Active for ZIN_COAMAS_TCSMOBILE
    6. BD52 - Added fields for I want to create Change pointers
    7. BD60 - Message type and ref Mesage Type and function module config.
    8. BD64 - Created distribution model for my Message type
    After doing all this settings the change pointers are not getting created in BDCP and BDCPV tables.
    Note - The entries are going in CDHDR and CDPOS table for activity which i change through KL02 for class LSTAR
    Can anybody figure out what need to be done in this case?
    Regards,
    Gautam Joshi.

    Hi All,
              Solved the problem myself.
              In BD52 I have given
              LSTAR               CSLA         KOARS
              LSTAR               CSLA         LSTAR
              LSTAR               CSLT          KTEXT
              Here the data of activity are stored in TCLA and TCLT tables. So intially while doing config in BD52 I have given TCLA and TCLT table names.
              But I debugged the KL02 and found that change pointers are not created for TCLA and TCLT table. further looking into CDHDr and CDPOS table I found that for COAMAS message type in these two tables table name was CSLAB.
    CDPOS entry
    LSTAR
    3166442
    119512890
    *CSLAB*
    2003166442   2400123120000101
    KTEXT
    U
    --> BUT CSLAB is structure.
    After putting these entry in BD52 the problem solved.
    LSTAR     CSLAB     KOKRS
    LSTAR     CSLAB     KTEXT
    LSTAR     CSLAB     LSTAR
