ADFBC VS Hibernate

Question

What advantages offer ADF Business Components that prefer it on Hibernate.?
Actually I am using the ADF framework to development my Web application on JDeveloper IDE, but I too can use the Eclipse IDE [an use Hibernate(model), Spring (controller) and JSF(View)].
Another option is using the Toplink persistence framework.
In this moment, the company is evaluating different frameworks and IDEs to development J2EE applicattions.
What is the better option to development J2EE applications?

Hibernate is just an O/R layer and ADF BC is more than that.
With ADF BC you get much more functionality out of the box and you end up writing much less Java code.

ADF BC already implements a lot of design patterns that you'll need to manually code when you are working with hibernate. Those are listed here:

Beyond just providing an O/R mapping layer - ADF BC let you do a lot of declarative definitions of validation, business logic, and even UI preferences.
On top of all of these, when you are using JDeveloper and the full ADF framework your development experience is again much more declarative and visual in nature, with drag and drop data binding.
