Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES Error while Connecting to MYSQL ODBC Driver

Hi
I'm getting an strange error message when i try to connect a LC PDF form to
MYSQL DB using MySQL Connector /ODBC 3.51 Driver
Here is the complete detail how i was trying to build a connection
string :-
I Opened a form in Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES2 Ver.9.0.0
Clicked on Data View Pallete --> New Data Connection --> selected OLEDB Database radio button --> Build a Connection string (clicked on build button) --> selected MS OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers (the default selected option ) --> clicked on Next >> button --> Use connection string (radio button) --> Build connection string on clicking Build button --> Select Data Source windows opens --> Clicked on Machine Data Source tab --> created a new data source (with User Data Source) --> Selected the MySQL ODBC Driver (MySQL ODBC 3.51 Driver) --> Clicked on next button and then Finish
A Connector/ ODBC 3.51.28 - Add Data Source Name window opens up which have the DSN connection details (DSN Name , Server , user , password , database).
I put all the default details
After this i got a error message saying that
Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES has encountered a problem and needs to
close. we are sorry for the inconvenience
I tried this number of time and was getting this error message every
time i try to put the DSN Detail and trying to connect to the DB. This
was really irritating.
Can somebody's what's the Issue . Is this a Resource Conflict or
something else
P.S :- I am using Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES2 Ver.9.0.0 with Windows XP and MySQL
Connector /ODBC 3.51 and the DB Connection is working good for MS
Access( though i don't need MySQL Connector fot this ).
Any Help would be highly appreciated

LiveCycle Designer reports errors while opening pdf

Hello,
I'm testing LiveCycle Designer on a 6 pages form.
I created the form todat and everything works perfectly.
After my last save LiveCycle Designer cannot open the file (it suddenly crashes) but if I try to open the file in Adobe Reader the file works correctly.
What can I do to understand what's happening?
Is there a tool to check pdf error for LiveCycle Designer?
Now I need to modify the form but I cannot open it anymore.

There are some settings written to your user directory that could be corrupted. I assume that you have installed on
the c drive. Can you go into this location and delete the files there ...then try again:
C:\Documents and Settings\logged in username\Application Data\Adobe\Designer\8.2
When you launch Designer again those files will be recreated.

Java == error while connecting to mysql database?!?!??!

Hi. I'm using Eclipse to develope jsp pages. I'm new to java.
I'm trying to connect from a jsp page to mysql server and i'm getting an error on the line below:

500 error while connecting to MySQL

I am trying to execute a ASP script which connects to a MySQL database and creates an object. But the problem is, am getting 500 error when I try to execute the ASP page.

When I tried using testadocon to check the connection, I get another error too.

For one, don't use org.git.mm.mysql.driver, it is the old Driver and is still there only for backwards compatibility. Use com.mysql.jdbc.Driver.
For another, you should not be connecting a JSP to a Database. Scriptlets in a JSP are now considered very bad form. If you are doing that, then you should move that code out into a Bean, a servlet, a custom JSTL tag, or some other application or session context object.
For a third, it would really help to see the actual code and the resourcce definition.

Is not necesary newInstance for DriverManager . You should charge the adecuate driver as first step.

Memory leak when using database connectivity toolset and ODBC driver for MySQL

The "DB Tools Close Connection VI" does not free all the memory used when "DB Tools Open Connection VI" connects to "MySQL ODBC Driver 3.51".
I have made a small program that only opens and close the connection that I run continously and it's slowly eating all my memory. No error is given from any of the VI's. (I'm using the "Simple Error Handler VI" to check for errors.)
I've also tried different options in the DSN configuration without any results.

I've duplicated the OPs example: a simple VI that opens and closes a connection. I can say this definately causes a memory leak.

Out of memory errors shortly after saving Adobe LiveCycle Designer

Stuck in a loop. I am being forced to give up on a pdf that I put hours of work in.
I can open the document and work in it for a while, but one large text box will instantly crash the program if I select it.
The name of the text box is very long. This was named as the file was converted automatically with the acrobat professional forms wizard.
If I could delete the field i would but as soon as I select it I am hosed.
The debugger opens asking me if I want to open visual studio.
I have no choice but to just give up on all the work on this document.
I am using xp and no logs are written to the event view or in the
any files with the word log in it in the adobe folder.

I have had to uninstall visual studio even to get livecycle to run. Also neither version will convert a word document.
So I print word as a pdf, the open it in acrobat pro and run the forms wizard, then I can convert that to LiveCycle.
it works.
I have to get this project done, so I will go back to word and either reduce the textbox size, and thankfully I can copy the work I do have out of the corrupt pdf.
My question is, is there a way I can somehow delete the evil text box that instantly crashes the program.

     When i try to open de layout of the Adobe LiveCycle Designer with the SFP transaction i get this Windows Error Message:
    Adove LiveCycle Designer: FORMDE~1.EXE Error de Aplicación
    La instrucción en "0x7830e113" hace referencia a la memoria en "0x0000048c". La memoria no se puede "read".
This has been working fine... but 2 daysa go... im getting this message error and can´t load the LayOut View.
I was trying in other machines. and this work.. fine..

Trouble connecting to https secure web service using Adobe Livecycle Designer

I am attempting to use Adobe Livecycle Designer ES2 to create a data connection in a Form to a secure (https) web service and I'm having some difficulty.
I'm new to Livecycle and have tried searching online for an answer, but the help isn't very clear and the only tutorials online that I can find are ones that connect to non-https services.
The WSDL I'm trying to connect to is: https://uk.ws.ondemand.qas.com/ProOnDemand/V3/ProOnDemandService.asmx?WSDL
My questions are:
Q1. Does Adobe Livecycle support https web service connections? Q2. I've managed to consume the WSDL but can only see the body of the XML request for a particular SOAP action. Where can I add the username/password credentials? In the Adobe interactive form I am trying to add some elements from the library. As soon i drag and drop some element in the form I get message as below.
"Adobe LiveCycle Designer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

Adobe LiveCycle Designer "Open Cancelled" error

Hi,
When i use xfa.event.cancelAction = true; all dropdown fields and signature fields get locked and when i try to open a dropdown list a messege "Open Cancelled" appears and i cannot modify the value and when trying to sign the pdf a messege "sign canceled" appears.
Only some of the client machines are having this problem.
All machines are having Adobe Reader X and IE 8.
I am using Adobe LiveCycle Designer 9.0 (SP2).

Troubles between non-Unicode R3 and Unicode Adobe LiveCycle Designer

Hi experts,
I'm getting troubles while trying to make a New Data Connection to R3 from Adobe LiveCycle Designer. The error say's "Cannot proccess unicode RFC in non-unicode system (for details see note 875767#)".
I know R3 was configured non-unicode and Adobe is unicode, but non of them let me change this property even in Adobe options or in RFC options. How can I solve this problem without changing unicode R3 kernel configuration?

Embed webquery in PDF using Adobe LiveCycle Designer

Dear BI Gurus,..Pls. help !!!!
We have NW2004s with Portal and ADS installed
Is it currently possible to embed BW objects like query results and Documents into PDF, may be using Adobe LiveCycle Designer to design a pixel-perfect layout?
So for e.g. an A4 size PDF would have several query results and may be also a document or a chart , and these objects can be manually arranged in A4 size layout.
Is there an option to achive this by some kind of webdynpro programming?

First, any extension fields added must be explicitly assigned to appear on the forms. Through Front-end Adaptation, this would be via the "Further Usage" link. Within the SDK, you'd right-click the XBO and select "Enhance Forms" (which would take you to the same screen as you'd end up at in through front-end").
You must select "Add Field and Edit..." to actually assign it to the Form Template schema.
Once this step is done, re-download the Form Template, and make sure to reload the Data Connection within LiveCycle. Through there, you should see your fields. You'll likely have to dig for them - they appear at the very end of the child elements.
Note that, while fields added through the front-end have a long string appended to the end (for example, it would appear as "ExtensionField_1234AISU897234HJA" if added via front-end adaptation), the fields added via the SDK do NOT have the suffix (you'll be looking for an element with JUST the field name, i.e. "ExtensionField")
