hi karan,
I hope that you are using the REST service from the sap widget foundation.
what type of error it displays?
code :
<mx:HTTPService id="sapService"
url="http://localhost:7531/SapMiddleTier/REST/ewcs/service/rfct" method="POST"/>

  • Standard Remote-Enabled Function Module to display data.

    Good afternoon,
    Is there any Standard Remote-Enabled Function Module which can be used to display a list of material, supplier or stocks data?
    First time, I was trying to use FM link to BW Extractor as MDEX_MATERIAL_MD for Material Attributes, but these kind of FM are not Remote-Enabled and not released.
    My second solution is to find a Standard Remote-Enabled Function Module which can be used to display a list of material, supplier or stocks data, but I haven't it yet.
    May someone help me in this?
    Thanks in advance for your answers.
    Best regards,
    Paul d'ORIGNY

    Hi,
    Suppose you want to read data from the vbrk table in ECC through a function module, then you can define the function module as "remote-enabled"(attribute tab in se37-processing type). You can try the following code out:
    FUNCTION Z_EM_INVOICE.
    *""Local Interface:*
    *"  IMPORTING
    *"     VALUE(I_FKDAT) TYPE  FKDAT OPTIONAL
    *"  TABLES
    *"      E_VBRK STRUCTURE  VBRK
    *select * from vbrk into table*
    e_vbrk where fkdat = i_fkdat.
    ENDFUNCTION.
    From BI you can call the function odule as follows:Supposing that you are calling the function module in the start routine of a dso:
    data : v_dest_system TYPE char255.
    data: l_vbrk type table of vbrk.
    v_dest_system = 'DRDCLNT010'
    CALL FUNCTION 'Z_EM_INVOICE''
    destination v_dest_system
    EXPORTING
    i_fkdat = <passing variable>
    e_vbrk = l_vbrk.

  • Service call to function module not fetching data

    Hello Experts,
    Today, I have started facing one more weird issue of the similar kind, I faced few weeks back.
    Once my web dynpro application is loaded, on the click of button I make a service call to function module which brings me some data and that is being shown on the UI.
    After doing few more service calls on the click of other buttons, when I click on the button initially clicked, service call is being made but no data is being returned.
    I already debugged the code, made sure the parameters is being passed correctly to function module.
    Regards,
    Harsh

    Hello Katrice,
    I debugged to the hilt and found that standard function module 'ME_REL_ACTIVE' was returning sy-subrc non zero.
    I cleared one variable after identifying it. Below is the code snippet:
        ld_read_t16fg = '(SAPLEBNF)READ_T16FG'.
        ASSIGN (ld_read_t16fg) TO <lst_read_t16fg>.
        IF <lst_read_t16fg> IS ASSIGNED AND <lst_read_t16fg> IS NOT INITIAL.
          CLEAR <lst_read_t16fg>.
        ENDIF.
        UNASSIGN <lst_read_t16fg>.

    Hi all,
    Please help me out….
    I created the form using the smartforms, check it and activated it. I can see the unique function module is assigned to the form. I wrote the ABAP program and use function module ‘SSF_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME’and also define data types.
    when I called the function module fm_name for passing values and tables from program to smartform. This is working perfectly in development server but in production it giving error like Function module " " not found.

  • Function modules to display graph in a container

    Hi,
       Can anyone suggest me is there any other function module to display graph in a container other than "GFW_PRES_SHOW_MULT"  why because when I am displaying the graph using that function module I am getting boxes in the graph display which is not needed so please send me other function module or tell me whether there is any way to remove the boxes in the graph at the time of display by using the same function module given above.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Bhushanam.

    Hi,
    To add a graphics functionality to ALV Grid;
    1. Add a user button on the ALV Grid control, utilizing "toolbar" event and "set_toolbar_interactive" methods of the class "cl_gui_alv_grid".
    2. As the function of this button, your routine should use GFW objects or "GRAPH_MATRIX..." function modules to display your graph. You implement your routine at the event "user_command".

  • Report does not display data

    I have a crystal XI report that when run will not display data; if the report should be six pages that is the number of pages that will be generated.  The problem is that the pages show up as blank.  If the blank pages are exported the exported file will contain data, if the report is sent to a printer the report will contain data, but no data is ever displayed on the screen.  This report has been loaded on 15 other computer and runs perfectly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.  By the way if this user logs in remotely and runs this report it will display data.

    A few ideas;
    1) Make sure you are working with [SP 6|https://smpdl.sap-ag.de/~sapidp/012002523100015859952009E/crxir2win_sp6.exe].

    2) Try different resolutions
    3) Try to see if there is an updated video driver
    4) Make sure there is a default printer driver installed.

  • Function Module not extracting records when InfoPackaged is executed

    Hi,
    I'm using a Function module for extracting data. The DataSource is working fine in RSA3 with a selection criteria. But when i schedule the infopackage with the same selections in the data selection tab, Its not getting me any records into BW. In the Details Tab i get the message "Error occurred in the data selection" . I guess there is a problem with the data selection. Pasted below is the code i'm using for extraction. Can anyone please let me know if there is any issue with the code.
    Also how do we pass on the value of I_MAXSIZE into the function module, the remaining parameters get the values from BW. And can anyone please explain me the concept of the "s_counter_datapakid" and when it should be incremented and where it should be located in the code?

    to convert the date. When converting to external format, the date format from the user's user profile will be used. When converting to internal format, the result will be in YYYYMMDD format.</i>

  • Function module to conver date to internal format

    Can anybody say what is the function module used to convert the format of the date which is taken from excel sheet to the sap format. If so pls tell me how to use that function module.

    Currently my date is getting printed in format 05262005.
    I want the output as 26 May, 2005.
    I have tried using Set date mask option but it is not picking up in the output.
    Code:
    This code yields as 12 march 2006.
    DATA: ZTEMP(9).
    CLEAR: ZTEMP, ZDD, ZMMM, ZYYYY.
    CALL FUNCTION 'CONVERSION_EXIT_IDATE_OUTPUT'
    EXPORTING
    INPUT = IS_DLV_DELNOTE-HD_GEN-CREA_DATE
    IMPORTING
    OUTPUT = ZTEMP.
    ZDD = ZTEMP+3(2).
    ZMMM = ZTEMP+0(3).
    ZYYYY = ZTEMP+5(4).

  • Function module updating the data base table

    Hi,
      This post is regarding the function module not updating the data base table.
    I am calling the FM SD_SHIPMENT_HEADER_CHANGE inside the ZFM. It's returning success an changing the  table c_xvttk_new with the new TDLNR value. But it's not updating the Shipment table VTTK-TDLBR or VT02N Forwarding agent.
    When I directly updating Forwarding agent in VT02N it's updating fine.
    Please let me know what the extra step need to be included to update or COMMIT the FM for updating
    Forwarding Agent(VTTK-TDLNR).
    Best Regards,

  • Idoc error 51 - "Function module not allowed - APPL_IDOC_INPUT1'

    Hello everyone,
    We are uploading GL balances from legacy to SAP using the LSMW Bapi
    object - bus6035
    method - post
    message type - ACC_DOCUMENT
    Basic type - ACC_DOCUMENT03
    When we run the lsmw, idoc is created, however with an error 51 saying
    "Function module not allowed - APPL_IDOC_INPUT1'
    The partner no. is the logical system (the system on which the lsmw is executed)
    In the partner profile, we have defined this as LS. In the inbound parameters, we have defined message type = ACC_DOCUMENT, the process code is APL1 and the corresponding function module is - APPL_IDOC_INPUT1
    Please let me know if we are missing something or doing anything wrong ?
    Since the data in the LSMW will be read frmo a file on the presentation server, do we need to have a port configuration for the same ?
    Thanks,
    Sushil Joshi`

    Hello Sushil
    The long text of message B1(252) is quite informative for error analysis:
    NA B1252
    Short Text
         Function module not allowed: &
    Diagnosis
         The function module  and the application object type  which were
         determined are not valid for this IDoc.
    Procedure
         1.  Please check that the process code in the  inbound partner profile
             is correct.
         2.  If this is the case, you should check the ALE inbound methods ALE
             inbound methods for the process code and see whether the specified
             function module and application object type are correct.
         3.  If this is also the case, then the function module and the
             application object type are not permitted for the logical message
             type, message variant, message function and basis type that are
             contained in the IDoc control record. You should check whether the
             correct values have been assigned to these fields in the control
             record. If they do have the correct values, then the assignment to
             the function module and the application object type needs to be
             maintained.
    On ECC 6.0 this long text contains 3 transactions for analysis:
    - WE20
    - BD67
    - WE57

  • IDOC Error - Function module not allowed: IDOC_INPUT_HRMD

    Hello Gurus,
    I have an issue with the IDOC Transfer. I am using the program RSEINB00 to read the file and convert the data into IDOCs with status 64.
    But all my Idocs are getting created with status 51 and the error is getting populated as " Function module not allowed: IDOC_INPUT_HRMD ".
    Please do let me know whats needs to be done for this to be rectified.
    Thanks,
    Naveen.

    You are not using the right process code.
    In partner profile - in message type
    u will see the process code to which a function module is attached,
    for ur message type, this is not the right function module.
    Regards
    Manu

  • ALE  error Function module not allowed: AFS_RETAIL_ARTMAS_IDOC_INPUT.

    Hi Gurus,
    By ALE config I am trying to send material from one client to another  ( MATMAS )
    I have created two logical systems and assigned them to corresponding clients.
    Created a RFC destination and assigned logical systems.
    Created Distribution model in sending client.
    Created partner profile in both clients.
    Created Material and send to receiving system using BD10 tcode.
    I checked Idoc status in Sending system, Idoc status is 03-Data is passed to port OK, status 30-Idoc ready for dispatch and status 01- Idoc generated.
    But in receving system (Inbound Idoc)- I got status- 51-Application document not posted and Function module not allowed: AFS_RETAIL_ARTMAS_IDOC_INPUT.
    I also checked partner profiles in both systmes- both r same.
    IAny help in this regard is appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Bluesh

    On receiver system...
    1 - goto WE20
    2 - locate the sender logical system (partner)
    3 - in Inbound grid select message type MATMAS (double click)
    4 - change "Process code" AFSA to MATM (probably AFSA is the actual code)
    5 - save and reprocess the IDocs using BD87
    Note: Process code AFSA is deafult but the scenarios need a spefic code that is MATM
