Adpreclone dbTier Error

Hi All,
We have R12.1.3 with 11.2.0.3 database, I have performed adpreclone dbTier it completed successfully
But in Log file some issues iam seeing like:

Adpreclone.pl dbTier errors out

Hi All,
We are planning to migrate our instance to new server . Before copying all top's(APPL,COMM,ORA,DATA,DB) to new server , I have run perl adpreclone.pl in appsTier and it went successfully . But while running in dbTier and it is erroring out as shown below.
     $ perl adpreclone.pl dbTier

     syntax error at adpreclone.pl line 527, near "$resultclone !"

I could see 11i.ATG_PF.H.RUP7 is not applied in our source instance. But business is NOT ready to upgrade it to recent release. They just want us to migrate existing instance to new server.
Please let me know if I can just apply the below patch for this issue.

When I try to apply the patch, session is getting closed once it asks system password . Any idea on this ?
     AutoPatch needs the password for your 'SYSTEM' ORACLE schema
     in order to determine your installation configuration.
     Enter the password for your 'SYSTEM' ORACLE schema: Connection to **.***.*.* closed.

Perl adpreclone.pl dbTier errors out with RC-50013

Am performing a clone of an 11.5.10.2 system running on Redhat linux 3.0.
When i run perl adcfgclone.pl dbTier,it errors out with the following error whenever it gets to 16%.

Could anyone be having a clue of how to go about this issue?
I read the solution on metalink and the solution i was given is to go to Note 307954.1 which tells me to "Modify the target's instconf.drv and remove the offending lines"
Now,the problem is that the offending lines are too too many....Is there any other way round this problem?????

Adpreclone dbTier ran successful but have an Exception message

'perl adpreclone.pl dbTier' ran successfully. See the end of the log file content below. But I can see an Exception message aswell (BOLDED).
Can it be ignored? Why is this occuring?

Clone dbtier error-- ERROR : Unable to set CLASSPATH

i am setting a new clone of PROD server.i restored the backup from prod and now i ran
perl adpreclone.pl dbTier
Here is the error message-->
perl adcfgclone.pl dbTier

First Creating a new context file for the cloned system.
The program is going to ask you for information about the new system:
Error: can't find libjava.so.
ERROR: context creation not completed successfully.
Please check /tmp/adcfgclone_1376.err file for errors
The err file does not have anything.
I added /u02/lifedb/9.2.0/jdbc/lib to path and classpath. classpath is empty. I made cc,ar,ld,make,perl come in the path as well.
Now how do i resolve the above err?

Adpreclone.pl errors out

Could anyone help me to find solution for java eror while running adpreclone in dbrier where as my adpreclone on appstier runs fine

The adpreclone.pl command should be run with the SOURCE database running.
I suggest you start the database, then try the command again. If there is still a problem then log a service request.

Hi everyone. Newbie here. I'm running on an error during cloning R12 EBS production to development server and I'm doing it manually.
After running the command: perl adcfgclone.pl dbTier and filling in the prompt details, clone was not successfully completed. Please see below the logs

The first suspicion I thought of was that I'm running out of disk space to clone another instance. But I've checked and there's still enough space, even in the /tmp directory. The second I thought of is does setting ownership and the os permissions have something to do with this?

error for dbTier cloning is solved. I didn't log in as the database user and didn't change permissions for the node files after copying. Cloning for db tier is completed.
I proceed with cloning the apps tier and I'm running into errors and cannot proceed. See log below:

Automating adpreclone dbTier

We would like to automate running adpreclone on a regular basis, like weekly or something from cron.
Has anyone figured out how to automatically pass the APPS password for the dbTier?
An example of the code along with an explanation would be greatly appreciate.

1. Installed new oracle home 10.2.0.3. Generated admkappsutil.zip. When i unzipped inside the appsutil clone directory is not there. I ran adpreclone in source instance. Is that before enabling autoconfig i need apply any patches?

I we started db and listener manully.and i ran adcfgclone.pl dbteckstack.I am getting below error.please help me.

it is this the first time you are cloning on the target machine
if yes then please make sure you have correct path for all and you meet the all requirement

R12 cloning on RAC windows 2003 R2.

Dear All Gurus,
I'm facing this issue with R12 cloning on RAC environment in windows 2003 R2..
Steps Followed:
After preclone steps completed in Source servers
then on Target server..
1, On DB being in D:\oracle\product\TEST2\10.2.0\db_1\appsutil\clone\bin>perl adcfgclone.pl dbTier
error: perl is not recognized as internal or external command,
so we made changes in .env (.cmd) file like,
ORACLE_HOME:to new copied home
ORACLE_SID; test2
after we run the .env (.cmd) file.
now again i run the perl adcfgclone.pl dbTier
It is started, but then throw's an error like

Checked metalink found the below solution but please the me interconnect_name is what ?
Check if the column interconnect_name from the fnd_database_instances has a value. If not, please update it with the correct value:
update FND_DATABASE_INSTANCES
set INTERCONNECT_NAME = 'xxx';
commit;
Rerun the process.
