af:from usesUpload="true" fails

Hi,
I have tried to use <af:inputFile > component in my project, and put the component in a <af:form usesUpload="true"> tag, but couldn't manage to make it work. What could be the reason? Any suggestions???
It will be highly appriciated if anyone could help..

Make sure you have followed the setup instructions, specifically for the ADF Filter, which is required for this component.

Also, the MyFaces Extensions Filter breaks the af:inputFile component, among other things. After reading http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg19379.html I tried removing the filter from the web.xml, and af:inputFile is working now.
It looks like we currently have to make a choice between ADF components and Tomahawk components. Unless you absolutely must have Tomahawk, I'd suggest ditching it until the integration problems have been fixed.

If you have a dropbox account, there's a free app (probably more) that syncs photos to your dropbox account - picbox.
There's also PhotoSync that syncs photos to/from a number of different services and devices.

Error from EAS - "refreshing security from Shared Services failed"

Hi,
I was using Native only security in HSS for Essbase 11.1.1.3 and EAS allowed me to Refresh security from Shared Services. (Essbase security was already externalized to HSS.)
However, after I added "MS Active Directory", and provisioned a MSAD user to a native Planning group, EAS errors out with "refreshing security from Shared Services failed" .
I checked Essbase security and that MSAD user is not added to Essbase.
From Essbase Log I see:
Essbase failed to get roles list for [ESB:Analytic Servers:servername:1] from Shared Services Server with Error [32:1062:Failed to connect to the user directory [ HSS'sMSADname].
I then tried to remove MSAD from our H Shared Services and see if this problem goes away. However, MSAD still shows on the left panel menu in H Shared Services. How can I get rid of MSAD?
Any suggestions?

Hi,
Are you sure you have removed it from shared services, you may have just disabled it.
You must restart the shared services application server to apply any changes made.

You are a bit vague as to what you are trying to
accomplish.
The problem is, that it seems that email, send from iTunes Store is only send to networks which doesn't do anything against Spam. So it is not iTunes but an iTunes Store problem. There should be a better solution to validate the email adresses. If it is done like now, many emails should be returned to sender.
If you are trying to give feedback then use the
iTunes drop down menu>Provide iTunes Feedback.
I did that on a suggestion for getting better iTunes

Full load from r/3 failed due to bad data and no psa option selected

Full load from R/3 failed loading in to ODS and in the infopackage on psa selected. how to fix it? can i rerun the infopackage again to load from R/3? May be it will fail again? is this a design defect?

There is obsolutely no prob. in re executing the package, but before that, check
your ODS and Info Source is re active and update rules are also active if any..
and you can check the option of target info provider selected properly along with
the PSA option and also check whether you have any subsequent process like
updating data from ODS to Cube and so on..
You can also check the data availability at R/3 for the respective DS by executing
RSA3.

Load from InfoSource 0EMPLOYEE failed

Hi all,
My source data contains some special characters in field TRFKZ.I maintained special characters using RSKC.
Now when I load data uptill PSA it gets uploaded.but when i try to upload it to the infoobject level,it gets failed.
The monitor message suggests Load from InfoSource 0EMPLOYEE failed.
Please BI Experts,help me to understand the neccessary steps to be taken from my side.

Click on the long text or question mark box next to error logs. It will give you the particular record and character for which it is failing.
Once you get the record go to PSA and check the data in PSA. Sometimes PSA doesnt show all the special chartacters , you need to go to SE11 , enter the PSA table name , go to your record and change the display settings to "SE16 Standard list" From Diaply --> User Settings.
HAve experienced few characters which are not resolved by RSKC hence have to write a routine to fix them or ask ECC team to fix the data.

It's difficult to tell solely by the messages. One there seems to be a problem finding a base class. One thing that I notice is that the package seems to contain 'book' with a lower case 'b' as in:
EJB name: BookBean.EJB under LibraryEJBProject\book
Whereas all the error messages are saying that they are having trouble finding something with a package name like 'Book' with a capital 'B'.
Perhaps that is the problem, the package has to be consistently 'book' or 'Book' and can't be both.
Hope I'm right and hope this helps.

Error from libf4f.dll: failed to swap file

We did a live stream last night using bitrates of 282 and 482, and the video was terrible, constant buffering on client players. Now looking back at the recorded video it looks corrupted audio and video out of place, video is pixelated and stuck. The encoder has over 2mb of upstream bandwidth for encoding so it's not the problem. The problem is FMS interactive server. We are using version 4.5.0, I've setup another instance usinf FMS 4.5.3 will this resolve the issue? According to the FMS 4.5.3 release notes this error is a known problem. How can we stream video like this?
Our server logs in event viewer show a ton of FMS(Core) error msgs about
"error from libf4f.dll: failed to swap file C:\FMS\applications\livepkgr\streams\_definst_\*****"
How can we resolve this issue? The FMS is useless in this state.

Client is streaming from a remote location (a hotel with PLENTY of bandwidth, 50MBs I think) back to the FMS on our VM server. This is the only stream on the going thru the FMS box at that time. The video output from the TriCaster goes to a canopas box through BNC. Then in the back there's a firewire that plugs into the "streaming" laptop. That laptop is streaming out with Flash Encoder and hardwired into a router. That router is plugged into the internet provided at the hotel. The stream averages anywhere from 200-250 viewers/connections. We are delivering stream to viewers via RTMP/Flowplayer front-end for desktop users and using the HTTP streaming link for mobile users. Client is publishing stream at 350 kpbs via Adobe Live Media Encoder.

when an external program developed in delphi connect to SAP, occurs RFC_ERROR_COMMUNICATION error. but some PC connect SAP successfully through the external program.
i am puzzled.

I have a same problem in our system,and also my computer name is korean.
Of course If I change my computer name to English, I can solve this problem.
But is there any other solution to solve this problem except not changing computer name?
Because our company use active directory and all employer's computer name is korean.
So maybe changing all computer name is impossilbe.
So I want another solution.

I do following but when typing the last command - I get an error.
Knowing that that same command runs correctly when launched from an RDS server

Are the Windows Remote Management rules enabled on the inbound firewall of the RDSH server?
If you are running multiple roles on the RDSH server you may need to increase the size of the memory available for powershell remoting.
Run Set-Item WSMan:\localhost\Shell\MaxMemoryPerShellMB 1000 with powershell as an admin and reboot.
