Af:query : How to get sql

Hi,
How can i get SQL Query that is executing when I enter some criteria and click on Search button of query panel?
I tried to override executeQuery() method of VOImpl and printed getQuery(). It is showing the query with bind variable in the query and vc_temp for the fields that are added in Advance mode.
I want to get the actual query that is getting executed.
Regards,
Vino

Can anyone help?

    (1) repeat the calculation or
    (2) compute it in a sub-query
    Here's an example of (2)
    WITH  got_d_name  AS

    ;A column alias (like d_name) can be referenced in the ORDER BY clause of the query where it was defined, but that's the only place in that query where it can be referenced.

  • Af:query - How to get the result rowsets

    Hi,
    I have a requirement where i need to search the db rows on and append the results the adf rich table on each search.
    For this i am using af:query component. And trying to get the result rows for the named criteria.
    String mexpr = "#{bindings.DestinDescVOCriteriaQuery.processQuery}";
    processMethodExpression(mexpr, queryEvent, QueryEvent.class);
    ViewCriteriaManager vcm = getDestinDescViewObj().getViewCriteriaManager();
    ViewCriteria vc = vcm.getViewCriteria("DestinDescVOCriteria");
    getDestinDescViewObj().applyViewCriteria(vc);
    AdfFacesContext adfFacesContext = AdfFacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
    adfFacesContext.addPartialTarget(tblDestinDesc);
    However on each click of search the rows searched in the previous attempt are not retained.
    Can anyone let me know how to get the result from named criteria and append it the table?
    Thanks

  • How to get sql query data and write into csv file?

    connection to the database
    run sql query
    create CSV file
    output query data, into CSV file
    save the CSV file
    osql

    This what i have so far, and I am little struggling with the logic after creating CSV file. I am unable to get the above script to work, please advice further, where I may be going wrong.
    Can you create if statement logic within window's script, to check for null parameters or data feeds?
    Any hints would be most appreciated.

    Thank you for your reply.
    Apology for posting the code irrelevant to the forum, as I am still novice scripting user.
    My goal is to create window's script which can compute the above logic and send the final output file (csv), to FTP folder.
    Can this logic be implemented via bat. script, if so, is there a example or tutorial i could follow, in order to achieve my task.
    Any help would be much appreciated.

  • How to get SQL statement from (Collection) query.execute();

    We have a JDO Persistence class ClassName that execute query using following code. After this statement get executed, record does not get updated in the DB. Is there a way to check what SQL statement got submitted in the (Collection) query.execute(); ??? <br><br>
    Extent extent = pm.getExtent(ClassName.class, false); <br>
    Query query = null; <br>
    try { <br>
    query = pm.newQuery(extent, filter); <br>
    Collection results = (Collection) query.execute();<br>
    Iterator i = results.iterator();<br>
    if (i.hasNext()) {<br>
    ...<br>
    }<br>

    You can always find out the names of tables that are views, using java.sql.DatabaseMetaData and its getTables() method.
    This tends to be a nice source of examples:
    javaalmanac.com
    However, if you're asking for the underlying SQL used to CREATE VIEW, I don't see anything in the API that will give you that. After all, JDBC shouldn't have to know if it's dealing with an ordinary table or a view. I think you'd have to ask your DBA for the underlying SQL.
    Once you have it, what do you plan to do with it?

  • SSRS report with cube – MDX query how to get an extra row with value '0'.

    Hello everyone,
    I'm unable to write the MDX query to get '0' value as first row in output. Following is my MDX query:
    WITH MEMBER [Measures].[Dummy] AS   '0'
    SELECT NON EMPTY Union( {[Measures].[Amount] },{[Measures].[Dummy]}) ON COLUMNS,
    NON EMPTY  { ([Customer].[Customer Nbr].[Customer Nbr].ALLMEMBERS * [Fiscal].[Year].[Year].ALLMEMBERS ) }
    having  [Measures].[Amount] > 5000
    ON ROWS FROM [cube]
    With above query, the output returns the value '0' as a separate column.
    I would like to get it in form of first row for [Measures].[Amount]. Like,
    Amount
    0
    500
    200
    100
    What needs to be changed to achieve the above result? I'm planning to use the above value in line chart to start the line from 0th value as described in following URL. (Note: The below URL is using SQL query and not MDX expressions.)

    The round brackets in your expression are forcing an implicit crossjoin between the 3 lines. I would do the following which creates a set of the DummyYear plus the real year members and then crossjoin that with the customer set.
    WITH MEMBER [Fiscal].[Year].DummyYear AS   '0'
    SELECT NON EMPTY {[Measures].[Amount]} ON COLUMNS,
     NON EMPTY  {[Fiscal].[Year].DummyYear,
         [Fiscal].[Year].[Year].MEMBERS} *
                [Customer].[Customer Nbr].[Customer Nbr].MEMBERS
     having  [Measures].[Amount] > 5000
    ON ROWS FROM [cube]

  • How to get SQL text from dbms_sql cursor ID

    Hello,
    I have a progam using dbms_sql. A cursor is built by dbms_sql.parse (cur_id, v_query, dbms_sql.native);From now on I have only the internal ID cur_id of the cursor. Is there a way to get back the original query the cursor is built from when the cursor is passed to another package?
    Regards
    Marcus

    Oracle provides several views that show part or all of the SQL statement. See your Oracle version# Reference manual for v$sql...
    v$sqltext is one view that displays the full text but the text is contained in multiple rows.

  • How to Get  SQL Results in Java?

    Hello,
    I'm new to java and have a few questions when running sql. I have no problems connecting to the Oracle 9i database, but my questions are these:
    (1) I have a CREATE TABLE statement. How do I check to see if the table was actually created? SQL returns the statement "table created" if it was successful. I've tried different "out.print(resultSet.*" statements to return either success or failure, but nothing is working.
    (2) I created a measure called sqlQuery. Can I put multiple sql statements in this measure? How do I get a resultSet for each sql statement and not just the last one?
    (3) Is it possible to use the * (i.e., select * from tablename) in Java? I've tried this unsuccessfully too.
    Many thanks

  • How to get SQL statements into SE16

    Does anyone know if there is a way in SE16 to get several records for a single Objid?  I do not know the objid but I do know the objid has two records with one having a field1 value of 0001 and the other 0002.  I want to return both records
    This is what the SQL would look like but I'm not sure how I would do in SE16?
    Select * from hrp5122

    In the selection screen of SE16, click on the icon on the most right at line POSTING_CHANNEL. You can enter multiple values, ranges and also exclude single entries there.

  • SharePoint caml query how to get if((condition && condition && (condition OR Condition)) items

    I uses U2U canl builder to get queries,
    How to write caml query for condition like,
    (UserName==ABC && date1>=GivenDate1 && (date2<=givendate2 || date2 == null) )
    one more
    (UserName==ABC && date1>=givenDate1 && (date2<=givenDate2 || date3 <= givenDate2) )
    SharePoint caml query if((condition && condition && (condition OR Condition))
    Thanks

    Hi,
    According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to Caml query with nested AND and OR for multiple fields.
    The expression A AND B AND C looks like this:
    <And>
    A
    <And>
    B
    C
    </And>
    </And>
    Then the CAML query would look like as below.
    <Where>
    <And>
    <And>
    <Eq>
    <FieldRef Name='AssignedTo'/>
    <Value Type='User'>admin</Value>
    </Eq>
    <Geq>
    <FieldRef Name='StartDate' />
    <Value Type='DateTime'>2014-07-30T12:00:00Z</Value>
    </Geq>
    </And>
    <Or>
    <Leq>
    <FieldRef Name='DueDate' />
    <Value Type='DateTime'>2014-08-01T12:00:00Z</Value>
    </Leq>
    <IsNull>
    <FieldRef Name='DueDate' />
    </IsNull>
    </Or>
    </And>
