After turning MacBook on, the colorful pinwheel does not stop spinning. So, I can't get into any of my Apps. I have no control. Is there a combination of keys that will give me control?

Is there a combination of keys that gives you some control of keyboard or Apps? Opened laptop and it won't stop "thinking" and allow me to open or do anything!

In case you are wondering, Safe Mode forces a file system check (among other things) and if it finds any issues it repairs them. Most likely that is what was causing your issue.

I was thinking of a few recommendations for you. I recommend our iPhone Troubleshooting Assistant found here http://www.apple.com/support/iphone/assistant/phone/#section_1. Start at section 1, if that doesnt fix it, then section 3, and if all else does not work, section 5. At section 3 I recommend closing ALL the apps.
Here is section 1 to get you started.
Restart iPhone
To restart iPhone, first turn iPhone off by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button until a red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider and iPhone will turn off after a few moments.
Next, turn iPhone on by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Is iPhone not responding? To reset iPhone, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least 10 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If your device does not turn on or displays a red battery icon, try recharging next.

I have tried in my Hyundai Sonata and a Dodge Dart rent car and get the same results. I updated the last 8.0.2. It worked the first day i had the phone, and then i updated to Ios 8.0.2 and it quit working.
Now when i get in the car, it acts like it is connected and makes the same call it was on after syncing to bluetooth, but it really isn't on a call. This is happening on both cars.
Does anyone know if this is the phone and i need to take it to Apple or if there is an issue that Apple is working on getting a fix for?
My son in law has the exact same phone as me, we both got the on 10/6, he had a Dodge Dart and his is working via bluetooth.
Someone HELP please, as i consider this a safety issue by not having my calls go to bluetooth.

We had the same problem, but figure out the solution.
You MUST have at least 1 song added to your ITUNE! After you add a free song, then everything else should work as normal!

Restart your Mac.

What happens if you reset the Nano? To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Volume down buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear. Start playing another track, and then pull the headphones out? Any change?
I am going to try this out with my 6G Nano later on to see if this functionality does indeed exist on this model. Or perhaps somebody who comes along to this thread can offer an answer.

When you add a WiFi you can't get into any websites??? But if you turn WiFi off you can access websites?

It is recommending backing up your entire system or have a current Time Machine Back up which includes your iPhoto
Then rebuild your iPhoto library as recommended:
hold the Command and Option keys down during the complete launch of iPhoto.

First, have the recipient check any anti-spam filters that may be present on her email account or in any email application to make sure that messages from Apple aren't being blocked. If she is sure that is not the case, go here:
