.I have gone to Settings and rotation lock, does not change it and also to Control Panel with the same result?

Do you have a toggle switch on the side of your ipad, next to the volume? If so, try that.......it took awhile for me to find that answer by googling.......hope it works for you.

Only the carrier can authorise unlocking. You need to contact them.

Im having the same problem. This started with iOS 8 and Yosemite. Im in a group message with 10 people with and without iPhones. Currently have 9 threads and when ever a new person responds a new thread forms. they all have the same people but in a different order, that may be part of the reason why iMessage doesn't recognize them as the same conversation.
As I'm writing this post 3 new threads opened and other people with and without iPhones are mentioning the same problem

To clear apps swipe up on the app. You might want to try resetting all setting it has helped some. Also try setting>general>accessibility>increase contrast turning this on reduces a couple animations which some say shows an increase in speed.

It's now called Tones. Go to iTunes menu EDIT/PRFERENCES under GENERAL tab, check the Tones Box under Library source to display Tones library in iTunes.

How to Change the Projector's Default Background. I would like to change the default backgound from the Apple Starfield to plain black

I want to be able to change my projectors default background while using my mac book pro. Currently it is showing Apple's signature background. I would like to change it to a plain black background so that when I disengage mirroring the screen the audience sees will go black; thus allowing me to make any necessary changes/switch programs and then engage mirroring. Any suggestions besides using a video switcher?

When i open firefox, the, i think it's called the history menu, opens in the left had side too and i would like this to stop.

it's the bar that runs from the top to bottom of the left hand side of firefox. i have no idea how this started, it didn't do this before, and i am starting to get annoyed. i looked through the settings, and google and couldn't find how to stop it. could someone give me the step by step?

Correct. When you did that, you voided all warranty/support, & forfeited the right to an out of warranty replacement.
There was nothing wrong with the screen I bought,
And, exactly, how do you know that? Since Apple DOES NOT sell iPhone parts, there is no official source for genuine parts. Thus, many on the market are counterfeit & produce nothing but problems.
