After upgrading to ios7.1 iphone won't play via USB in car. Why?

I had been able to play my iphone through my 2013 Honda until I did the 7.1 upgrade. Now the car does not recognize the iPhone. How do I fix this?

This is total BS! Ever heard of backward compatibility? Get this fixed or Android is next for me! Apples resoponse so far shows absolute arrogance.
I am not the only one and a simple search shows thousands of people having the same issues. Asked my car dealer already and they have loads of people with the same issues. Only devices with issues are Iphones and Ipods since the IOS 7 upgrade. Reset as suggested does not work.

Music will not play via USB or Bluetooth. I own 2013 Toyota Corolla. When I plug via USB my car audio display lets me select folders and music through browse but when I select a song I get an error on the car audio display that says "read manual or contact dealership for information on how to connect". Plug in the memory stick and it should open then create a New Folder and drag and drop the contents from the memory stick to the new folder you created. Remove the original memory stick all the information should be in the new folder you created. Now plug in the new memory stick with nothing on it when it opens drag the folder with the contents from the original memory stick folder and all into the new memory stick that opened and there you have it.

After upgrade to ios7 podcast shows wrong information on display in the car connected via bluetooth

Hello everybody,
After upgrade to ios7 I see very strange podcast behavior when iPhone is connected to the car stereo system via the Bluetooth.
When I play the first track it shows correct information about this track. When the first track is finished and I move to another track it still keep showing previous information about previous track.
I will appreciate your advise.

Assuming you are able to select and play podcasts from your car controls be thankful! Many of us can no longer control the playback of podcasts from the car controls now that Apple has ripped podcast support from the Musica app!
I have seen that behavior in the past with Music under iOS6 though. Not sure what caused it. A reboot of the phone and off/on cycle on the radio would seem to clear it up when it would happen to me.

After upgrading to iOs7, my wifi won't connect!!!

I did the most recent upgrade to iOs7, and now my wifi won't connect at my house. My two ipads, computer, and AppleTV all work perfectly, but my phone will not connect. I'm getting the error, "Unable to join the network (insert network name here)." I have tried to reboot my phone, as well as resetting the Network Settings. Please help!!!!

The new operating system seems to have an issue with apostrophes. At least when it comes to wi-fi.
Check out your device name. If it is called something like “Claire’s iPhone” it could be the apostrophe that is causing the problem.
To change your device name go to Settings > General > About > Name. Tap on the name to edit it and remove the apostrophe. Save the change. Switch off your phone and then switch it back on again.
Your wi-fi should be working.

Dropped calls after upgrade to iOS7 on iPhone 4S

After upgrading my 4S to iOS7 I am getting a lot of dropped calls. I never had it in iOS6. No carrier change (T-Mobile). Anybody else?

Its not the carriers its the IOS 7.0.2. I never had this problem until I did this darn update. Im getting mad and about to go back to the samsung. My hubby has the same iphone 4s but didnt do the update and has no problems. Apple needs to fix this fast or Im trashing this phone

After upgrading to iOS7, my iPhone 4 is unusable. Can't type anything as it takes ages - it's very slow.

I upgraded to iOS7 yesterday and since then everything is so super slow that I can hardly use my phone. It takes 10s to unlock the phone. Typing texts is hardly possible with the delay on the keyboard.
Is it possible to downgrade? If not, when is this going to be fixed? Apple just ruined my phone which was working just fine on iOS6!

Sound routed to JBL onbeat micro dock even when dock is off - after upgrade to ios7 on iphone 5

Since upgrading to ios 7.0.2 from ios6 I am not getting text sound alerts on my iphone 5 when it's connected to my JBL onbeat micro charger dock. The sounds are being routed to the speaker even if the dock is off! If I switch on the dock, texts sounds can be heard on the dock'a speakers.
This started happening after ios 6->7 upgrade.
When I disconnect the iphone from the dock, sound comes back to the phone.
Is there a way to choose where the sound should go? or is it just another ios7 bug? I don't have a separate wall charger, this is the only way I can charge my phone, and when I do, I keep missing important texts! Please help!

After upgrading to iOS7 my iPhone 4 is experiencing a microphone problem.

During a call I can hear them but they cannot hear me. Anybody experiencing the same?
I tested the mic on other apps and it worked just fine, except making / receiving a call!

We have 4 iPhones, and we had created a separate iCloud account for the Find My iPhone app.
After Upgrading to IOS7, my iPhones Find My iPhone app is now tied to my other iCloud account, and will not allow me to change it back. What's up with this?

HT1476 issue charging the phone after upgrade to iOS7

After upgrading to iOS7, my iPhone 5 won't accept my charger cables. I have 2 cables, tried around ten wall sockets, tried using my laptop, PC...nothing works.
The only way to charge it is to turn off the phone and leave it like that.
The main problem for me after not charging is that I cannot connect it to iTunes in order to downgrade.
I am seriously getting sick and tired of these things about Apple products....and they cost a s#&% load of money...
I've been using 3Gs and 4G, benn satisfied, but that's all, not close to excellent....
Oh...and about the charger cords..the one that came with the phone is trash...I used it a few times and after that I had to throw it in the garbage. I saw that you can buy a new one slightly cheaper due to a program of Apple, but the main problem is that ROMANIA does not show in countries....although there are many many users of Apple products over here....
I'll wait a few days if I can solve the problem...either downgrading or something else.....if not...to the flea market with it...

Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with Wi-Fi on your iPhone. I recommend the following article and specifically steps 4 and 6 for the situation you described. Step 4 says to restart your phone, but if you click on the link in step 4, you will get the steps to reset your iPhone as well.
