here said not find the remote partner, but in B2B server, can ping Echoserver.
what is wrong?

Hello again,
I have tried all different combinations with the IP addresses and host names, but to no avail. Then I changed the Trading Partner Identification Type from MLLP Id to Sending Application (one of the customer requirements is to be able to identify the Trading Partner by the combination of Sending App/Sending Facility, since they are running multiple HL7 applications on one host). However, I still see the same error in the log file - for some reason, B2B is still trying to identify the Trading Partner by the MLLP Id. Redeploying the configuration didn't help, the requested identification type is ignored.
Please help! If needed, I can send the B2B log file, but maybe I'm missing something obvious.
BTW, the customer has installed the patch for bug 6439217 on October 10th. The B2B version is 10.1.2.2.0.
Thanks in advance!

Make sure you do not have active configuration which is using this agreement.

  • EDI 810 transaction error: Cannot uniquely identify a trading partner

    Hi,
I am facing following error on B2B 11g version 11.1.1.6.0. Please provide the solution if you are aware of the issue.
Error Description: Cannot uniquely identify a trading partner. The trading partners PARTNER-A, PARTNER-B have the same set of identifications.
Partner Identification parameter for PARTNER-A and PARTNER-B
    EDI Interchange ID: xxxx
    EDI Interchange ID Qualifier: yyyy
    EDI Group ID: 111
    Name: PARTNER-A
    EDI Interchange ID: xxxx
    EDI Interchange ID Qualifier: yyyy
    EDI Group ID: 111
    Name: PARTNER-B
    Thank you
    Ram

Two TPs can not have same identification.
There are two ways to come out of this problem.
    1. Change the identification criteria for the TP.
    2. Use exchange level Identification for one TP.

This occurs after I purge the b2b and even manually delete the trading partner that has the name that I require to change the server to (required for quality assurance testing). When I check the identifiers, there are two name ones (one of them is the one I am trying to change to) but I cannot delete any of them as it is grayed out.
    Any thoughts?

Solved the issue, I manually delete entries in b2b.tip_tradingpartneriden_aud and b2b.tip_tradingpartneridentifica_t.
Is this safe to be doing this?

    Hi
Since the error states "Process_ORDERS" as the Business action I assume you are trying to enq the ORDERS document from Acme to GlobalChips. The issue then would be due to the fact that there is a trailing space character after the GlobalChips
Please check for a space (or spaces) after
    to = GlobalChips

  • Identify Trading Partner EDI X12 over File Protocol

    Hi
I am working on EDI X12 (835) over File Protocol.
The EDI payloads I will be getting will hold same EDI InterchangeIds, Group, or Exchange.
    oracle.tip.adapter.b2b.edi.identifyFromTP = ANY
    and I have given oracle.tip.adapter.b2b.allTPInOneDirectory = false.
So that it identifies based on the directory name.
For this I changed my trading partner name same as directory name.
Could you please suggest me is there any other way of identifying From Trading partner than changing the Trading partner name to directory name?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Praveena.

    Hi Praveena,
Yes, TP name and directory name should be same.
Put oracle.tip.adapter.b2b.allTPInOneDirectory = true (Idetifies the Trading partner by the directory name) in your tip.properties file.
Check below thread for more information on TP identification -

  • Communicating message processing errors to trading partner

    Hi,
We have configured B2B to receive OAG inbound messages.
How can we communicate inbound message processing errors to the remote trading partner?
I found that we can use oag CONFIRM_BOD_004 message for that? How do we that? Do we need to create a separate agreement with the trading partner for the confirm_bod or is there any way to bind it to existing agreement?
Is CONFIRM_BOD_004 the only way of informing the trading partner or there are some other ways of doing it?
    Thanks in Advance.
    Anil

    Hi Anil,
Oracle B2B can send two kind of acknowledgements to partner to intimate whether received message processed successfully -
    1. Exchange level ack - This is supported with specific exchange protocols (AS2, ebMS, RNIF etc.) only. Generic exchange does not have this capability. To understand, how it behaves in case of inbound error, please refer section "D.5 Inbound Exception Handling Scenarios" at-
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17904_01/integration.1111/e10229/app_except.htm#BCEIEEFF
    2. Functional Ack - This is supported as part of document protocol's specification. For e.g. 997 in EDI X12, CONTRL in EDIFACT and CBOD (Confirm BOD) in OAG. Oracle B2B can handle Functional ACK automatically but you have to create a document definition for the same and deploy the respective agreement. Remember, Functional Ack is generally used to communicate to partner whether received message passed the business validation.
You may refer below blog to understand difference between functional ack and exchange ack -
    http://www.b2bgurus.com/2009/02/document-vs-exchange-level.html
Remember that this blog is intended for 10g so please ignore any settings defined there.
You may define at an agreement level whether FA is required and if yes then whether Oracle B2B will handle it or middleware will send it to B2B to pass it to TP. You may refer section "Step 4: Select validation, translation, and functional acknowledgment options" at -
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17904_01/integration.1111/e10229/bb_agree_flow.htm#CEGDGCAH

    Hi,
seems like you have to reverse the document without trading partner and re-post with Trading partner. Then it should work. If this is automatic postings and more often to happen in future think about pre-setting it in GL accoutn if possible or validations/ substiutions.
    Regards
    Hein

    Hi Srinivas,
I think you have one more thread opened for the same -

Anyways, as I mentioned earlier in above thread, please follow proper file naming convention to allow B2B to identify the Trading Partner.

  • B2B Trading partner identification

    We have the following scenario:
    1. Trading Partner sends X12 PO 850 ( one Interchange ID) But at our side we have multiple Interchange ID's . So file comes from single customer ( single sender ID) but having multiple Receiver ID's.
So is this true that only way to handle this is to create multiple Partners in Oracle B2B and attach Sender Receiver ID's on aggrement?
I tried above option but B2B is not able to identiify TP based on SENDER RECEIVED ID combination. We have b2b.edi.identifyToTP =true.
    Error Code B2B-50549
Error Description Machine Info: (xyz.americas.com) Description: Cannot uniquely identify a trading partner. The trading partners CA_SEARS, SCA_SEARS have the same set of identifications.
    Error Level ERROR_LEVEL_COLLABORATION
    Error Severity ERROR
Error Text Cannot uniquely identify a trading partner. The trading partners CA_SEARS, SCA_SEARS have the same set of identifications
    Vijay.

Now problem is with outbound.... we need to send outbound docs to different channels for same Tp based on our different Sender ID's. So I thought to create 2 different tp is B2B and use seperate channels for both.Ok. If I understood it correctly, then in your scenario you have to send same document (doctype and docrevision) to same TP on different URL's based on your different sender ID's. If this is the case then definitely you have to have two remote TP's in your B2B configuration but both remote TP's should use different receiver ID's (your TP should have two interchange id's).
What happening currently is that you have created two separate TP's but both of them are using same interchange id's which is not possible in B2B scenario. All TP's must have unique Interchange ID's

  • Issue with Trading Partner Identification - Files are not picked

    Hi,
As per user guide and also the following note
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/integration/b2b/pdf/B2B_TN_013_EDI_VAN_Identify_TP_based_on_
    ISA_GS_ID.pdf
I did uncomment the following line
    #oracle.tip.adapter.b2b.edi.identifyFromTP = Interchange | Group | Exchange
    from tip.properties
But when I put a file 810 EDI file "test_canon810_11i.dat" for B2B pickup B2B errors with
"Trading partner agreement not found for the given input values: From party[NAME] "test", To party[NAME] "IKON", Business action name "810_inbound_p"; also verify agreement effectiveToDate"
But if I just rename the file to "CANON_810_11i.dat" B2B successfully processes the file.
I have setup trading partners IKON and CANON with appropriate edi interchange id but not sure why B2B is erroring in previous case and in the latter case why is it trying to identify the trading partner by filename (even though the tip.properties has been updated as mentioned earlier)
Let me know if you have any pointers in fixing above
    Thanks
    Sachin Sutar

    Hi Sachin,
If you want to use the Interchange Sender/Receiver ID for identification, please set
oracle.tip.adapter.b2b.edi.identifyFromTP=Interchange in the tip.properties. Uncomment the #oracle.tip.adapter.b2b.edi.identifyFromTP = Interchange | Group | Exchange would not work.
As a result, the B2B Server defaults to identifying the Trading Partner base on the file name. You can see from the b2b.log that the From party[NAME] = test or CANON. That's because we use the first portion of the file name as the TP name.
    Hope this helps,
    Eng

  • Trading Partner and Validation for Tradin Partner

    Hi Gurus,
Please tell me the use of Trading Partner field while doing transactions. What is the benefit we can get out of it?
Can we write a validation rule, so that system will throw an error, if particular trading partner is used for particular profit center group or profit center?
    Please revert back asap.
    Thank You

    Hi,
    This will clear ur ideas...
In Business Terms Trading partner is your business partner within Group with whom you are doing business.
In order to identify Inter Company transactions Trading partner field is used.
You need to define all the Group Companies as company in SAP and all the defined Companies will be available for selection in Trading partner field. Trading partner can be defaulted in GL, Customer or Vendor Master. If you need you can populate trading partner at Document level too by doing settings in Document Type Master in T Code OBA7.
Trading partner is normally used to control (payment/transaction) vendor/customer business with the group. Something like group/inter group business. You have to go to master record. for eg, in customer master, go to CONTROL DATA tab so see Acccount Control, in which you have provide trading partner number/reference.

  • Trading Partner identification over Generic Exchange

    Hi -
Right now it appears that B2B only use IP address for the Generic Identifier for HTTP/HTTPS connections (non-AS2). The problem we are running into is that the remote trading partner uses a proxy and cannot guarantee a certain IP address each time. (Uses a rather large range of possible IP's)
Are there any other options available to identify the remote trading partner, such as a range of IP's, full or partial host names, wildcards on IP (i.e. 123.123.*.*), parameters passed in on the URL (i.e. username=X&pass=Y or something). Options such as using ID's in EDI etc are not an option for us.
    Thanks!

We have enhanced B2B to include this feature in patchset1 for 10.1.2.0.2 release.
Instead of setting the actual value for Generic ID such as 123.123.123.123, you can use values such as '123.123.*.*' to represent any ips that matches the subnet 123.123.
    Thanks,
    Eng
