Aktivierung Photoshop CS3 ohne Seriennummer und Aktivierungscode

Hallo,
ich habe mir vor ein paar Jahren von einem Kollegen einen Windows7-PC gekauft. Auf diesem war Photoshop CS3 installiert und auch aktiviert. Ich habe mir dann das Upgrade auf Photoshop CS5 zugelegt und auch aktiviert. Jetzt ist leider die entsprechende Festplatte kaputtgegangen. Ich habe mir nun das CS3 von der Downloadseite gezogen und installiert, dabei aber nicht bedacht, dass ich ja keine Seriennummer und auch keinen Aktivierungscode erhalten habe. Mein Kollege hat sich beides auch nicht aufgehoben, so dass er mir nicht helfen kann. Wie kann ich nun das Upgrade auf CS5 weiterverwenden?

Gar nicht, schon weil du das Ganze ohne ordentlichen Lizenztransfer gemacht hast und es somit al ldie Jahre lange rein formal gesehen illegal benutzt hast. Somit ist die Seriennummer auch nirgendwo registriert und der Support kann nicht wissen, was du selber nicht weißt...

Programmabstürze in Word und Photoshop CS3

Kann mir jemand sagen, ob sich beim Mac auch Viren einschleichen können?
Zuerst hat sich mein Office am Mac verabschiedet und lässt sich nicht mehr installieren.
Und seit ein paar Wochen stürzt mein Photoshop CS3 nach ein paar Minuten ab. Es lässt sich zwar immer wieder starten nach einer Weile, stürzt aber ständig wieder ab. Da das Photoshop Teil einer Creative Collection ist, möchte ich wissen, ob ich nun die ganze Collection neu installieren muss oder nur das Photoshop anwählen kann. Muss ich das Photoshop auch vorher deinstallieren? Oder kann man mehrere Versionen auf dem Rechner haben? Weiß jemand, ob ich um die Neuinstallation herumkomme? Woran es liegen kann, dass sich das Photoshop dauernd verabschiedet?
Fragen über Fragen...
Bitte antwortet schnell!!! Bin am verzweifeln...kein Fachmann weit und breit!!!

If it's a small amount of text with simple formatting you'd be better off redoing it in Photoshop.
If it's a lot of text you shouldn't be using Photoshop anyway. InDesign does this sort of thing properly.

Photoshop CS3 will not open mulltiple photos

I just ran the update for my CS3 to version 10.0.1 now i am unable to open 2 photos at the same time or it crashes

when he opens 2 pics at the same time or one after one he get the following RAM-Error

also, the computer is in a Domain and the user had admin rights
when i logged me in with a local admin account i can open two files a the same time without any error messages
i also made a RAM Test -> no Problems
after the update to PS CS3 10.0.1 with the Adobe Update its the same Errormessage!!!!

CS3 startet aber läd nicht bis zum Ende. Ich kann CS3 nur zwangsweise beenden. Wenn ich im Diagnosig mode starte läd CS3. Woran kann das liegen?
Alle anderen Programme funktioniern. Win XP SP2 ist ganz frisch aufgesetzt.

Sobald die Twain Plugins geladen werden bricht der Startvorgang bei mir ab. Hatte mal eine Scannersoftware installiert und wieder deinstalliert. Koennte es vielleicht damit zu tun haben. Es erscheint auch immer ein Fehlerbericht mit dem ich leider nicht anfangen kann.

der Adobe-chat sagte mir,daß es nicht unter windows 7 läuft.Herr google sagt mir aber was ganz anderes.
Erbitte dringend Hilfe,wie ich es zum laufen bekomme.

nur um kurz klarzustellen: Photoshop cs3 läuft unter windows 7 (problemlos) , zumindest bei mir
hab zwar 64bit, aber das dürfte kein grund sein ...
ich hab öfters (von bekannten) das gleiche Problem bemerkt ...
allerdings unter win vista und win7
kann dir leider aber auch nich helfen ...
was mein "post" eigentlich sinnlos erscheinen lässt,
aber meine aussage sollte ja hauptsächlich ...
über das problemlose "laufen" dieses programmes unter windows 7 schildern )

Photoshop CS3 64Bit Rechner

Hallo Adobe,
keine Ahnung, ob ich hier richtig bin.
Habe nun endlich das Photoshop CS3 in meinen Händen, um es meinem neuen Rechner einzupflanzen. Leider ist diese Version aber nur bis Vista 32Bit zugelassen.
Nun habe ich einen 64Bit-Rechner und auch ein 64Bit Betriebssystem.
Wann kommt Photoshop CS3 ????????
Es kann ja nicht sein, dass Adobe mit der Entwicklung wartet, bis es genügend Anwender (pot. Kunden) gibt, die ein 64Bit-System haben.
Da stellt sich mir nähmlich die Frage: Warum soll ich ein 64Bit-System aufsetzen, wenn es keine Software gibt?

Dies ist ein allgemeines Problem ! Die Hardwarehersteller sind in der Regel immer ein Jahr schneller als die Entwickler mit ihrer Software, da hilft es nur wenn man mal darauf verzichtet immer das neuste haben zu wollen (dabei spart man dann auch noch eine menge Geld). Meist sind sogar die Treiber, welche mit der neu entwickelten Hardware rausgegeben werden, ebenfalls noch in einem ungenuegendem Entwicklungstand.

Rant @ Adobe : Photoshop CS6 + CC / Absatz- und Zeichenformate unglaublich unperformant

Mag sein, daß mein Windows PC auf der Arbeit nicht mehr der fitteste ist, aber alles läuft ohne Probleme und größere Wartezeiten.
EINZIGE AUSNAHME: Absatz- und Zeichenformate in Photoshop CS6 und CC.
Bei JEDEM Klick verwandelt sich die Maus in das Wartesymbol und bleibt z.T. Minuten so. Selbst beim deaktivieren der Vorschau und beim Abbrechen bei deaktivierter Vorschau. Bei absolut jedem Klick (außer Änderungen, wenn die Vorschau deaktiviert ist - aber diese Einstellung merkt Photoshop sich auch nicht)!
Es behindert meinen Workflow massiv! Es dauert manchmal 10 Minuten, bis Änderungen angewandt sind, für die es nur ein paar Sekunden brauchen sollte. Achja, und manchmal geht dann auch gar nichts mehr und ich muß Photoshop über den Taskmanager beenden.

Naja, Absatz- und Zeichenformate eben: Textfelder mit Text drin, dem die Formate zugewiesen werden. Kann man damit noch was anderes machen?
Leider werden in dieser Agentur Webdesigns immer noch in Photoshop erstellt. Auch "responsive", dann eben drei mal (Desktop, Tablet, Smartphone). Dafür ist es auf jeden Fall das falsche Werkzeug, ich habe aber keine Wahl. Aber das Werkzeug sollte trotzdem funktionieren... es ist ja keine Zweckentfremdung.

wenn ich Photoshop CS3 beende, erhalte ich immer die Fehlermdelung: Adobe Photoshop CS3 funktioniert nicht mehr.
Ich nutze Vista Home Premium 32bit.
Ich kann das Programm dann schliessen.
Das öffnern und das arbeiten innerhalb von CS3 funktioniert dagegen einwandfrei.
Nur eben, dass beim beenden des Programms die besagte Meldung erscheint.
Gibt es dazu eine Lösung?

Bei mir vergisst PS mal einfach eine Auswahl, dann kann ich nicht kopieren, verschieben, mal dies, mal das.
Das gleiche mit InDesign-
es macht keinen Spaß mehr, damit zu arbeiten. Das Programm raucht einfach ab.
Ich arbeite täglich seit PS3 mit dem Programm, aber so einen Ärger hatte ich bisher nie!
Systemabstürze hatte ich unter Mac OS X seit 2003 nie mehr. Denke, der Fehler liegt bei Adobe!

Programmabsturz von Photoshop CS3

Hallo Forum-Team,
ich habe ein Problem in Photoshop CS3 beim Einlesen von mehreren Bild- oder PDF-Dateien nacheinander!
Das erste Einlesen einer PDF-Datei funktioniert einwandfrei.
Möchte ich dann eine JPG-Datei dazulesen, stürzt das Programm mit einer Fehlermeldung ab!
Ich habe das Programm schon deinstalliert, dann neu installiert, aktiviert und aktualisiert.
Es läuft unter Windows XP mit SP3.
Das alles hat nicht zum Erfolg geführt. Der Fehler beim Einlesen von mehreren Dateien nacheinander wird nicht behoben!
Könnt ihr mir weiterhelfen?

Wir möchten auf MAC umstellen. Haben Photoshop CS3 Windows . Ist es möglich CS4 MAC Upgrade zu bekommen?

Ja, das geht. Adobe tauscht einmal die WIN-Version kostenlos gegen Portokosten bei Plattformwechsel in MAC-Version um, die WIN-Version darf danach nicht mehr verwendet werden. Der Tausch erfolgt allerdings immer zur aktuellen Version, also z.Z. auf CS5 und nicht auf CS3 oder CS4. Die Upgradekosten müssen natürlich gezahlt werden. Am besten direkt an den Support wenden.

I haven't been able to download CS3 yet, but the Martin Evening pdf (thanks for the link!) has what looks like a piece of great news buried in it:
"For example, before you first had to create an empty new document with the exact pixel dimensions before you could place an image (such as a raw file) as a Smart Object. With Photoshop CS3, you can now place a raw capture file as a Smart Object layer in a single step."
If I understand this right, it means that the functionality of the old Dr Brown Place-a-Matic script is now available from Aperture. We can -- or this makes me hope we can -- send a RAW from Aperture to PSCS3 for editing, and then Place the same image, perhaps twice, as a Smart Object, edit away, and when we Save get the whole edited image back in Aperture without going through the Finder.
I used to use this (from Bridge) all the time to double-expose RAW shots: adjust the sky to one exposure and the ground to another, masking to get both into the final image, all without messing with the pixels of the RAW image. I've missed it. Whoopee.

Adobe Photoshop CS3 Image Processor not converting files to sRGB Profile

I have been experiencing a problem with Photoshop CS3 Image Processor no longer converting profiles to sRGB. It converts all of the files from Camera Raw to JPEG, but not sRGB as well. I used to be able to batch convert an entire folder of RAW images to JPEG, sRGB through the Image Processor.
My Photoshop CS3 Working Space is Adobe RGB (1998). I need to convert an entire folder of images selected in Bridge to sRGB working space in order to publish a photo album from one of the on-line publishing companies. I can open each individual Camera Raw file in Photoshop and convert each to JPEG, sRGB, but this takes a tremendous amount of time.
The following procedure has worked for me in the past, but for some reason no longer works:
I select the images in the desired Bridge CS3 folder. Upper tool bar, "Tools" > "Photoshop" > "Image Processor". In Image Processor:
Section 1 - ""Process files from Bridge only (11)" Whether or not I place a checkmark by "Open first image to apply settings", it makes no difference in the outcome.
Section 2: "Save in same location"
Section 3 - "Checkmark by "Save as JPEG, quality 12". Also a checkmark by "Convert Profile to sRGB"
Section 4 - Checkmark by "Include ICC Profile"
I replaced my iMac one month ago and reinstalled Photoshop CS3, but this Image Processor problem had been occurring even with my old computer.

I don't know if it's related, Photoshop CS3 on my old computer was running in Rosetta. I don't know if it's running in Rosetta now, the name does not appear when Photoshop boots up. How do I get it to run in Rosetta again?

Heh heh heh. It's always true that we find the answer just after making public our problems, which in turn we did after trying to find the problems ourselves for hours.

How to install Camera RAW update for Photoshop CS3?

I know this is an ancient version! But for now it's all I need. Anyway...
My Adobe Updater says "No Internet connection. Please check your Internet settings and/or firewall. Waiting for connection..." That's the first problem. I figured out how to manually update Photoshop and Bridge, but Adobe Updater still shows this message when trying to check for updates. Also, I've tried to update Camera Raw from 4.0 to 4.6 and I can't figure out how to manually install it. I knkow the website says to do the following:
Mac:
Exit Photoshop CS3 and Adobe Bridge.
Open the Finder.
Navigate to the root of the local disk (not the user’s home folder).
Navigate to Library/Application Support/Adobe/Plug-Ins/CS3/File Formats.
Move the existing plug-in to another location (for example, a new folder on your desktop). Ensureyou keep this version in case you need to revert back.
Copy the Camera Raw plug-in, Camera Raw, from the download into the same folder as in Step 4.
Launch Photoshop CS3 or Adobe Bridge.
I manually entered "Library/Application Support/Adobe/Plug-Ins/CS3/File Formats" and it says this folder doesn't exist. Can anyone help me update my camera raw?!

Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extend Error

I had to re install Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extend but now every time I try to start it, it errors out withe the following:
"Could not load the user measurement data point presets file because the file name was not valid."
and "Could not load the user measurement scale presets file because the file name was not valid."
Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks!
