ALE error : Maintenance systems not identical

Hi All,
I just configured the ALE settings to send material from client 250 to 214 on the same ECC. When I try to distribute the model I get the error "Maintenance systems are not identical."
What could be the fix for this?

Steps to be followed are:
1. Create a Logical system for the sender SAP system and the receiving XI system using Transaction - u2018SALEu2019:
2. Assign Client to the Sender Logical System
3. Create RFC destination of type u20183u2019 for SAP XI system using transaction u2013 SM59 note: Make sure that the name of the RFC destination and Logical system for SAP XI is the same.
4. Create a Distribution Model through u2018SALEu2019 transaction. Create a Distribution Model by selecting u2018Create Model Viewu2019.
5. For the model view created above, add the message type of the idoc that you wish to send using this model view. Select u2018Add Message Typeu2019 option and then specify the sender logical system and the receiver logical system.
6. Generate the partner profiles by selecting the navigation path from the main menu, Environment --> Generate Partner profiles
7. From the main screen navigate through the menu option, EDIT --> MODEL VIEW --> DISTRIBUTE. Upon receiving the message, it means the distribution is successful.
8. Go to transaction BD10 to send a material out of IDES
9. Go to transaction WE02/WE05 to check the status of the IDOC in the sendign system.

Was the system copied from another system? Or is this a new installation?
If yes, did you run SE06 after the installation?
What is the results of trans.log (generated from R3trans -d)?
Also paste the contents of table TADIR in SE16.

Error-logical system not created in client 001

Hi Experts,
When I was trying to delete the application from Administration Client its giving me the error "Logical system not found on client 001"
I created the Logical system in 001 but still same problem...
Did I do anything wrong during the installtion??
Can anyone please help me

ALE : Error msg 'Application not posted'

Hello all,
when i send master data from sender to receiver then at recaiver side it shows the error like 'Application not posted'.
what it means ?
I have checked all the connection for both system.Remote connection is also working.IDOC generated at sender side is showing status 3. i.e. data is successfully transfered
whats the problem?

Application not posted. error is for data integrity as already said.
Means that document can not be posted in recieving system. Say if you are sending a currency which is not configured in the recieving system. You are sending INR and recieving system needs USD say. So data can not be posted.
Try posting a document in the recieving system with the same data, it will through the same error take help of any functional consultant and solve the issue.
Now go to we05 and edit the idoc replicate the same changes as you already found. and reprocess the idoc using tcode BD87.

ALE error Function module not allowed: AFS_RETAIL_ARTMAS_IDOC_INPUT.

Hi Gurus,
By ALE config I am trying to send material from one client to another ( MATMAS )
I have created two logical systems and assigned them to corresponding clients.
Created a RFC destination and assigned logical systems.
Created Distribution model in sending client.
Created partner profile in both clients.
Created Material and send to receiving system using BD10 tcode.
I checked Idoc status in Sending system, Idoc status is 03-Data is passed to port OK, status 30-Idoc ready for dispatch and status 01- Idoc generated.
But in receving system (Inbound Idoc)- I got status- 51-Application document not posted and Function module not allowed: AFS_RETAIL_ARTMAS_IDOC_INPUT.
I also checked partner profiles in both systmes- both r same.
IAny help in this regard is appreciated.

On receiver system...
1 - goto WE20
2 - locate the sender logical system (partner)
3 - in Inbound grid select message type MATMAS (double click)
4 - change "Process code" AFSA to MATM (probably AFSA is the actual code)
5 - save and reprocess the IDocs using BD87
Note: Process code AFSA is deafult but the scenarios need a spefic code that is MATM

Generated Proxy Error: System not configured as XI Integration Engine

Dear all,
Using transaction SPROXY I generated a proxy on a Message Interface.
This generated as well a method and the associated class.
When I run it, trying to send data through all this, I get the following error:
<b>System not configured as XI Integration Engine</b>
Here is the model I got on another thread, in order to catch the error text:
DATA: l_sys_exception TYPE REF TO cx_ai_system_fault.
*...proxy call
catch CATCH CX_AI_SYSTEM_FAULT into l_sys_exception.
write: l_sys_exception->errortext.
Anyone has any idea where this error commes from?
I am mostly wondering whether the problem comes from my outbound system or XI configuration?

SPROXSET ...Unable to rectify Business systems not found issue..

Hi,
On doing a test of my proxy I am frustrated with an error " Business system not found". I have maintained SPROXSET values as IFR_aDDRESS = XI.XYZ.COM, IFR_PORT = 51000, IFR_USER = PIAPPLUSER and IFR_PASSWORD = XIPASS.
I encounter this error whenever I do a test on SPROXY and I can't see the business systems from the SLD. What am I missing here? My sldcheck , sldapicust are all good. The only error in sldcheck is LCR_SAP_BUSINESS_SYSTEMS gives a retuen code fo 4. Please advise on what I am missing here.

Central System not accessible (SRM with CUA)

Hello Folks,
We are using Central user administration CUA and like other system SRM is connected to CUA. I am getting the error 'Central system not accessible' while creating the employee for business partner (Vendor) transaction BBPMAININT (Manage Business Partner).
Here are the steps
1. Login to SRM
2. Click on Manage business partner (BBPMAININT)
3. Look for Employee for Business Partner 'Create' option and create a
employee for one of the vendors.
4. Enter details and press save button
5. You will get the message Central 'System not accessible'
Any help in this regards is highly appreciated

RFC user has SAP_ALL. Also we have also applied those notes. Could you please point to the excat cause of the issue. We can attache user to org structure using users_gen.

NSX40GT1 - Process System Not Responding

When I start my NSX-40GT1, I get the error "Process System Not Responding". It gives me the option too Force Close or Wait but neither option does anything. I tried going into the recovery mode by holding down the power button while I power on the TV. I tried the factory reset option, but I still get the same errors. I tried Ctrl+Alt+Del and reboots and brings back the same error. I am just out of my extended warranty. Is there any solution or is the t.v now a expensive paper weight.

Please try to clear the cache of the Chrome. Here are the steps.
IMPORTANT: A Google Chrome browser window should already be open to complete this procedure.
On the keypad remote control, press the button.
In the Options menu, select Settings.
Press the ENTER button.
In the Browser Settings menu, under Privacy & Safety, select Clear saved browsing data.
NOTE: The Clear saved browsing data option will clear the history, cache and cookies. If you do not want to do all 3, you can instead select each one individually. They are located just below the Clear saved browsing data option on the menu.
After you have selected the desired option, press the ENTER button.
Then repeat the steps provided by SonyFanGirl.

Distribution Model - Change Maintenance System

I need to change the maintenance system for a distribution model - anyone know where to do this?

We have a sandbox( HRX ) that is a copy of an older production system. We have since upgrade to ECC6.0 and changed the names of our development servers from HRD to HUD.
When I modify the distribution model in HUD and transport to HRX, HRX still thinks HRD is the maintenance system, not the new ECC 6.0 server.
Where can the maintenance system be changed?

Hi,
You may want to define the logical system and assign client to logical system (transaction SALE) for HUD. Then you need to delete the old distribution model of HRD and create new one for HUD (transaction BD64) and generate the partner profile (WE20).
Also ensure the RFC connection was setup properly.

I have installed SAP CRM 7.0 IDES . But when i am trying to exectute Transaction Code /nbp ( Business Partner Creation) system is giving an error 'Logical System is not defined ' and i am not able to execute the transaction.
Kindly explain how to define the logical system.

Hello Rohit,
To solve the problem you should proceed as described in the long text of the error message B2 001 and maintain the logical system for the current client via transaction SCC4.
The reason for this error is that the ALE outbound of business partner is activated. If you don't want the ALE messages to be generated when business partner is changed then you can disable the ALE outbound. To do that, go the maintenance view CRMC_BUT_CALL_FU and disable the following function modules if active:
BUPA_OUTBOUND_REL
BUPA_OUTBOUND_ALE_REL

Transporting Process Chain - error Source system does not exist

I tried to transport a local PC by itself (not including its main meta chain) since I have only done modifications in the local PC only. In the PC, there are PSA Processing, ODS Processing, ODS Activation, ABAP Program w/ variants and Infocube Rollup.
However, I got the following transport error: Source system does not exist

Diagnosis
Source system is not known.
System Response
The imported data for DataSource was deleted again because the referenced source system does not exist and no mapping is defined in table RSLOGSYSMAP on an existing productive source system.
Procedure
Create the referenced source system in the Data Warehousing Workbench or define mapping to a known source system in table RSLOGSYSMAP.
You get to maintenance using Tools -> Conversion of the logical system names.

I have checked at the table RSLOGSYSMAP and all source system mappings are in order.
And the weird thing is, upon checking the PC itself in the transport-to box, I can activate it without any error.
FYI, we are currently upgrading to BI Accelerator. Am not sure if this could be one of the reasons.

This error is due to the fact that the
mapping table for the after import (RSLOGSYSMAP) is not correct maintained in PB7 system.
You need to maintain table RSLOGSYSMAP in each system
You can find the steps to do it in the attached note 127326:
o Maintain table 'RSLOGSYSMAP' in the target BW with view
   'V_RSLOGSYSMAP' and enter as 'original source system' the logical name of the source system in the source BW and as 'target source system' the logical name of the source system in the target BW.
   This maintenance is required since it allows the correct source system reference of the InfoSources to be transported.
This source system reference in turn is absolutely necessary to activate the transfer structure.
   Example:
   Source BW with source system AAA.
   Target BW with source system BBB where the source system AAA
   corresponds to the source system BBB.
   Entry in RSLOGSYSMAP in the target BW:
   Original source system: AAA, target source system: BBB.
   Give the DDIC user in the source BW in client 000 the
   authorization profile S_RS_ALL to create BW objects.

Error with Transport system not configured that may be related to CHaRM

Who has in depth knowledge on setting up SAP Solution Manager CHaRM. Had an odd problem with the transport system failing when the QA system was shut down for maintenance. Transports were not able to be created or save to. Error message was Transport System not configured. Brought up QA and re-distributed system and Transport group and transport requests started working again.

if a system, e.g. QA system, will not be available due to a maintenance task,
we set the status of this system to "temporarily inactive" (see header data in transaction SMSY).
This status allows us, to create new transport requests in DEV-System although consolidation system QA is not available.
(Of course you have to reset the status, when QA-system ist started again.)
Hint: it is not possible to release or to import a transport request, when consolidation system is shut down.
Therefore the developer should pay attention to the messages, which raise in urgent corrections.

I am trying to download maintenance stk SRM 7.0 SPS 5.0, via solman, but I am getting the error called "Error:System not assigned to a host" in the stage where solman looks for OS/DB dependent files.
When I go back and check the entries in SMSY, all the relevant entries are present there..
Could anyone has encountered this before?

are you sure that is in TX "smsy -> Systems -> <your SID> -> logical Component -> Header Data" an entry at the field "message Server" ?
I think that is meant with host.

ALE Change Pointers in source system not active

Hi All,
I am trying to load 0COSTELMNT using deltas. The initial load is OK and then i use a delta and it fails and i get the error:
"ALE Change Pointers in source system not active"
I have carried out the following steps in an attempt to resolve the problem - but it didnt. Anyone have any advice??
(1) Checked BD61 to confirm whether the change pointers are active
(2) Checked BDCP to confirm the number range is maintained
(3) Checked SALE (Activate change pointers for message types) to confirm whether the change pointer has been activated for the type we need:
COCOKA Control segment CO object/cost element
COELEM Cost element master data
(4) In transaction snum, Selected number ranges and confirmed the intervals are setup
No. 01
FROM: 0000000001
TO: 0000009999
(5) Activate transfer structure
(6) Replicate Datasources

If you are transferring master data from source system, the BD61 setting on the source system should be checked.
Why it has been unchecked - not sure (likely someone did it by mistake).
It shouldn't have any effect on txnl delta. What will be effected though is that you will have lost delta of the ALE based data sources for the period this setting was unchecked.
