ALE WE19 ERROR

I am trying to post a FI document using transaction code we19. Below are the steps that I have performed. The message type is FIDCC2.
SCENARIO 1 - Without entering the business area.
I enter the data into the segments and after checking the partner profiles I click Inbound Function Module /Standard Inbound.
After the IDoc is created I check the status. It says, "Accounting transaction not permitted for posting in FI/CO." I got the data checked from the functional consultant and the data was correct.
Scenario 2 . After entering the business area.
I clicked the Inbound Function module and I checked the status. It said, "Cross-system business area 1000 does not exist."
I guess it is a functional error, because if it was a technical error it would have given errors like, "partner profile not found," etc. Do you have a solution for this?
Regards
Kumar

Hi,
I think you should look into following steps.
Goto TCODE
<b>SALE -> Modelling and Implementing Business Process -> Cross Application Settings -> Global Organization unit   ->  Cross System Business Areas.</b>
The reason is that if there are 2 systems
System1 having BArea as 100 and System2 is having 200 then in both the system 1000 will be maintain as a Cross-Business Area which will act as a intermidiate Business Area for converting Business Area 100 to 200.

  • Task ALE/EDI: Error handl cannot be started immediately

When an IDOC is being created in SAP(3.1I) from an external system(Gentran GIS), it is added with errors status 56. The error text states as 'Task ALE/EDI: Error handl cannot be started immediately
'The task ALE/EDI: Error handl (no. TS00008068) cannot be started immediately by user GIS'.
Can anyone advise where the user 'GIS' need to be added to avoid getting that IDOC error

    Hi Bhaskara,
This can be caused by several issues:
    1. The user GIS has NO authorization to run workflows or to run this specific workflow task (TS00008068).
    2. The user GIS has NO authorization to run function module EDI_ROLE_FOR_PROCESSING (or when running this function module it will return data in the ACTOR_TAB, which means that the workflow cannot be started by default users).
    3. Within the partnerprofile (transaction WE20) at the specific inbound parameters for the message on the tab "Post processing: permitted agent) an agent has been defined that will not resolve to the user GIS (and therefore this user is NOT allowed to do post processing).
Most likely issue 3 is here at hand. If this is the case, REMOVE the entry for the agent (or consider to setup an organisational unit/work center and make GIS a member).
The error, by the way, is an inbound processing error. It is possible that in the ALE layer something has not been defined properly.
Within the partnerprofile (transaction WE20) at the specific inbound parameters for the message on the tab "Inbound options" and double-click on the entered Process code.
You must now check the entries here.
    Example:
If you use an own function module (named in the Identification field) you must set the radio buttons to Processing with ALE service AND Processing by function module. The little button behind the identification field will show some details.
At least the detail fields (on tab IDoc) Object type, Start event and End event must be filled.
Default values for these are: IDOCAPPL (=Object type), INPUTERROROCCURRED (=Start event) and ERRORPROCESSCOMPLETD (=End event).
Of course within ALE you can define different types of process codes (what you like most for your specific handling).
Hope this helps you a bit on your way.
    Regards,
    Rob.

  • ALE Settings error: Outbound: LS to KU

    Hi Guys,
Requirement: send idoc to customer 1000358 (KU)  when user execute a report in R/3
when user execute report we have written the code for idoc generation using function module
MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE. the idoc number is geeting genarated successfully with sy-subrc 0
although its giving an error in WE02 that:
IDoc: 0000000003560240 Status 29: Error in ALE service
Could not determine recipients for message type ZNACPRLST
its not picking the recepient information of the customer from ALE settings.
I have added that recepient info forcefully in debug before function module MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE.
But again the idoc number is geeting genarated successfully although its giving
    another error in we02 that:
IDoc: 0000000003560258 Status 37: IDoc added incorrectly
Entry in outbound table EDP13 not found. please check the partner profile.
Although i have checked tht the entry exist in above table in se11.
    ALE Settings:OUTBOUND:
    Sender: LS- SP5CLNT210
    Receiver: KU - 1000358
    idoc type: ZPRLST01
    message type:ZNACPRLST
WE82 assign idoc type with message type.
Receiver port: SAPOUT (File type & Transfer idoc immediately, RFC destination also there)
    Partner profile:  partner no: 1000358
                      partner type: KU
outbound params: message type - ZNACPRLST
But nothing i did in message control for outbound process code becoz we are
generating the idoc in the report itself by coding.
Distribution model: i can not create any distribution model. Because recipient system is KU.
and therefore no logical system name of recepient. therefore system will
not allow to create distribution model unless we have a logical sys name
of recipient. And i think as the recipient sys is KU (not LS) therefore
                        no need of distribution model?
I dont have any configuration for inbound till now. And i believe that doesnt matter
    for outbound trigger.
Please can anybody tell me what could be the error in ALE settings that sytem is showing?
    Will appriciate any help....
    Thanks,
    Biswajit.

    Hi,
    thanks for your reply.....
i did exactly in WE20 that i wrote before...
The file port for EDI system is also perfect otherwise it woudnt work for other standard idocs...right?
i m tried to retest the same in We19 as well....
but it is giving the same below error:
IDoc: 0000000003560240 Status 29: Error in ALE service
Could not determine recipients for message type ZNACPRLST
its not picking the recepient information of the customer from ALE settings.
If I added that recepient info forcefully in iwe19 and retest it again the idoc number is geeting genarated successfully although its giving another error in we02 that:
IDoc: 0000000003560258 Status 37: IDoc added incorrectly
Entry in outbound table EDP13 not found. please check the partner profile.
Although i have checked tht the entry exist in above table in se11.
    Your comments pls...
    Thanks,
    Biswajit.

  • ALE/ IDoc: Error while checking in and storing

    HI Gurus,
i need to send Documents from one system to an other System. I use BDA5
Both system are using different File Systems and the DMS Archive is also different.
I can send the DOCMAS without errors. When i Try to process the Documents i can not process IDocs which have a file (Segment E1DRAWFILES) included. i get the Error messages Error while checking in and storing
I also sent some IDocs which have no files (no segment E1DRAWFILES) and these can be processed. Has anybody an idea whats wrong? If i use normal transaction CV0xN i can upload and checkin documents.
How can i convince SAP to successfully process the IDocs with files from the source system?
    Thanks in Advance
    Udo

    HI,
    Udo,
    1.  Are you taking about business document?
    or
    2. SAP dms Document?
If DMS doc then send details regarding document type, and business object used in definine document type for object linking.
In DC10 U check flag in define object linking, Object chek from ALE[Set flag]
for business document i think differen procdure while defining your document type. i guess.

  • Idoc with XSLT Mapping ALE service error

    Hi all,
I have the same problem with "converting to an ALE logical system".
In this case I have a Business System without logical system name in the SLD. This information for the IDoc control record, like SNDPOR, I will map with a xslt mapping.
In weblogs from Michael are the properties for the directory described.
    /people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2005/09/01/xi-idoc-adapter--edidc40--demystified
I selected in the comminication channel the last two check boxes, as described in SAP help.
    "Take Sender from Payload
If you want to take the sender of the message from the payload and not from the configuration information in the Integration Directory, set this indicator.
If you do not set the indicator, the information is taken from the configuration in the Integration Directory.
    Take Receiver from Payload
If you want to take the receiver of the message from the payload and not from the configuration information in the Integration Directory, set this indicator.
If you do not set the indicator, the information is taken from the configuration in the Integration Directory.
If you set both of the above indicators, you do not require a heading mapping and do not need to set the alternative identifiers.
However, you must ensure that the SNDPRN, SNDPRT, RCVPRN, and RCVPRT fields are set in the IDoc control record.
Setting the senders and receivers of a message from the payload simplifies configuration and speeds up processing.
If the sender and receiver are not set correctly in the payload, the resulting error is only visible in the receiving system. "
In my XSLT-Mapping I set the appropriate Idoc fields:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1"?>
    <xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform">
    <xsl:output method="xml"/>
    <xsl:preserve-space elements="*"/>
    <xsl:template match="DATEN">
    <_-XXX_-018_XXXXX_XIDATEN>
    <IDOC>

    <IDOCTYP>_-XXX_-018_XXXXX_XIDATEN</IDOCTYP>
    <MESTYP>_-XXX_-018_XXXXX_XIDATEN</MESTYP>
    <SNDPOR></SNDPOR>
    <SNDPRN>XXXXX01IN</SNDPRN>
    <SNDPRT>LS</SNDPRT>
    <RCVPOR>xxx</RCVPOR>
    <RCVPRN>xxx</RCVPRN>
    <RCVPRT>LS</RCVPRT>
    </EDI_DC40>
    <xsl:variable name="pid" select="substring(.,1,1)"/>
But in the sxmb_moni the message is red with the error message :" converting to an ALE logical system"
    Have you any idea?
With another interface I used a graphic Mapping and the same properties in the directory and it works.
    Bye

    Hi togehter,
it works now, after cpa_cache and sxi_cache.

Does know one how that goes here?

  • IDOC scenario: MATMAS02 (Application document not posted ALE/EDI errors)

    Hi!
I am almost ready with with my first File to Idoc scenario and having the following error.
    (Idoc of type MATMAS.MATMAS02)
The IDOC will be received on business system B.
Unfortunately the following errors come in tcode BD87 or MM90
    Enter a material type
    Message no. M3098
    No material number transferred
    Message no. M3752
Can some one help me to trace and solve this problem?
    Thank you very much!
    regards
    Holger

    Hi!
    I corrected the error!
Now the Idoc has the status "yellow" which mean "IDOC ready to be transformed to application".
Is that still an error/warning or is everything is ok?
I mean does some background job started and create a material from this IDoc?
I loooked into tcode MM03 and cannot unfortunately detect any new materials....
kein Filtern , kein Umsetzen , kein Versionswandel .
    Message no. B1005
    In Log I could find:
IDoc successfully processed in the ALE layer
The IDoc has passed through the ALE layer successfully and can now be passed to the application. This transfer is either done online or as a background job, depending on the settings in the partner profile.
If there are no further status records, the IDoc waits for the next run of the transfer report to the application.
Success or failure when passing the IDoc to the application is documented in the subsequent status records.
    Actions in the ALE layer
The parameter 'kein Filtern' indicates whether the processing in the ALE layer led to segments of the inbound IDoc being omitted. The important criteria here are the settings in the segment filter and in the distribution model for this sender.
The parameter 'kein Umsetzen' indicates whether field values were converted in the ALE layer. This is the case if the IDoc contains organizational units to be converted, or if the ALE conversion tool for this sender is activated.
The parameter 'kein Versionswandel' indicates whether the IDoc was converted into an earlier version of the IDoc type. This happens if the IDoc type of the sender is different from its own IDoc type.

  • ALE Configuration error

    Hi,
I did the ALE configuration in sending and recieving system like creating LS,Assigning LS to Client,Model View For Message type, ports and partner profiles.
When i was trying to distribute the model view it is giving error:
RFC Destination not configured or partner profiles not generated.
I can remote logon from sender system to reciever system and vice versa.
The partner profiles are created for the  LS Sender and reciever.
So can any one help me on this issue.
    Thank you.

    Hi Mili,
You do not need to generate partner profile during the ditribution model view process (BD64). You can add manually the partner profile via WE20 for inbound and outbound parameters. As long as distriburon model has been setup and distribute, you can continue the next step for example generating IDoc and so on.
Sometimes, you may face an issue to generate partner profile from BD64 for some reason. I found by generating manually partner profile always quick, safe and stay away from any trouble shooting for an error.
    Hope this will help.

    Hi
    Check the folowing link:
    Re: Problems in generating profile
Please folow this order to avoid such messages
The order which we follow to distribute the data between two systems is:
    1)Create Logical systems(BD54)
    2) Assign logical systems to clients(SCC4)
    3) Create RFC destination (SM59)
    4) Create Port(we21)
    5) Create Partner profile(we20)
    7) Distibuton model( BD64)

  • ALE Inbound Error Handling

    Hi
Here I have problem in setting up Error handling in outbound/inbound processing of Idocs in ALE....
Can any one please explain how to do it....
My requirement is, if ever idoc goes in to error then the user has to be intimated by mail in SAP Inbox. As per my knowledge it can be done through partner profile...if specify user name in partner profiles/post processing agent place.
My doubt is will it be same in outbound/Inbound?
Do i need to do anything other than specifying usernames in partner profiles?
What is the use of Idoc Administrator?
Please explain how to do that....
    Awaiting your valuable answers...
    Thanks
    Suresh

I think you also need to specify the "post processing agent" in your Partner profile - Message Type.
    Check WE20.
In case you don't want to use organizational assignment then leave the task as it is as general task.
So only the user specified in "post processing agent" will be taken into consideration.
Here are the steps that you need to do for a complete error handling procedure ( but you can avoid organizational assignment if you just need to use User Name as receipient ):
I've taken it from F1 help on error handling:
    Error Handling
In this section, you can make the settings for error handling:
Create organizational units and assign standard tasks
Maintain EDI administration ( Idoc administrator section on Xn OYEA or We40 )
Maintain error process code ( Xn OYEA or We40 )
Further you can check it using Verification Processing on OYEA / WE40 .
Errors are processed in the system in which the error occurred.
You can repost IDocs that were not posted (with status 51) using program RBDMANIN.
    Requirements
ALE error handling uses workflow. A standard task is provided for each message type. Task TS20000051 is used for all BAPIs.
    Workflow functions as follows:
A task (work item) is generated for the error handling and stored as a message in the inboxes of the employees responsible.
If one of these employees processes the work item, the standard task method for error handling is started. The user can, for example, restart IDoc processing.
If the IDoc is processed successfully, the work item is deleted from the inboxes of all the employees involved.
For this procedure to function, the employees responsible for a particular message type and partner (sender or receiver) must be defined as follows:
    1. A hierarchy of organizational units (for example, "sales office") and positions (for example, "customer officer for customer X") is created and employees are assigned to it.
    2. The standard tasks for error handling (for example, an error related to an inbound sales order) are assigned to the relevant organizational units or positions (for example, "sales office").
    3. The organizational unit, position or employee responsible for dealing with the error are specified for each partner and message type in the partner profiles.
If an error occurs, the system determines:
    1. The employees responsible using the staffing schedule of the organizational unit or position linked to the standard task.
    2. The employees defined in the partner profiles (using position, user ID, or organizational unit).
    3. The employees appearing in both groups represent those who will receive a work item in their inboxes.
    Activities
Create organizational units and assign standard tasks
    Maintain EDI administration
    Maintain error process code
If you used EDI communication in an earlier version, you can check the assignment of error process codes to the standard tasks.
Check names of the employees responsible in the partner profiles.

  • ALE outbound error handling

    Hi gurus,
I've implemented some ALE systems successfuly. I mean the distribution of information is alright but, now, I want to get some notification when any outbound error occurs.
I,ve filled the 'Post processing: permited agent' tab in the partner profile (both for partner and message type) but it doesn't work. I suppose I need to do something else.
Can anybody help me with this matter?
    Thank you in advance.
    JM Parra.

    Hi,
    Just an added information
Message Type : ALEAUD,is present which is used to give successful notification/confirmation  in case of the posting of the IDocs, this Message type should be configured on the inbound side( Partner Profile and the Distribution Model) after which an IDoc of ALEAUD Message Type would be generated and the segments in this IDoc would contains the details of the Message Type(Including IDoc no) for which the confirmation is generated.
    Thanks
    Krithika

  • ALE-IDOC Error -Function module not allowed: ZIDOC_INPUT_MATCLASS

    Hello all,
I am having a requirement to enhace bd10  to suit for material master. For that i have written a Z-function module to at inbound side.
Function module has coading for extended segments and z processing code is created for the same.
The issue is that i am getting error-Function module not allowed: ZIDOC_INPUT_MATCLASS.Please help to resolve the issue.
    Thank you.

I have checked as per your suggestion in detail the error reported as-
    Function module not allowed: ZIDOC_INPUT_MATCLASS
    Message no. B1252
    Diagnosis
The function module ZIDOC_INPUT_MATCLASS and the application object type which were determined are not valid for this IDoc.
    Procedure
    1. Please check that the process code in the inbound partner profile is correct.
    2. If this is the case, you should check the ALE inbound methods ALE inbound methods for the process code and see whether the specified function module and application object type are correct.
    3. If this is also the case, then the function module and the application object type are not permitted for the logical message type, message variant, message function and basis type that are contained in the IDoc control record. You should check whether the correct values have been assigned to these fields in the control record. If they do have the correct values, then the assignment to the function module and the application object type needs to be maintained.
I am done with all the procedure.
I am currently using-BUS1001006.I really dont know if this is the one for extended idocs and z function module for material master. Please guide me if this is the issue. And i f so please guide right buziness object.
    Thanks.

  • ALE distribution error - 0 communication IDOC

    Hello,
We are getting 0 communication IDOC generated for message type DOCMAS error for ALE document distribution error. Please advice where to look for the error.
    Anirudh

    hi,
    ani,
    u check this,
If you want work items to be created when errors occur for the purpose of error handling, you need to assign the standard task TS40007915 PCROLL to a position or a workflow organizational unit.
    Or
You can also distribute dependent objects manually for classes. You can use report program RCCLDIHI to distribute a complete class hierarchy including all classes characteristics, and characteristic values.
Only the message code (004 - change) is allowed for sending a document (message type DOCMAS). This function also creates the document in the target system.
You can control the sending of documents with the indicator Distribution lock. An object with this indicator in its status will not be distributed into other ALE systems.
You can set the indicator in Customizing Document Management System  Define document type  Define status. The distribution lock is read when a distribution automatically starts after a change pointer is set or for an Integrated Distributed PDM Solution (ID PDM).
You can ignore this setting by starting the distribution manually. When you set the indicator Ignore distribution lock in the initial screen, then all documents will be distributed overriding the previously set status.
You control the distribution of object links with the indicator You cannot maintain the object links via ALE and Object link unchanged in target system.
Information about object links are distributed through IDoc type DOLMAS01.
The data is transferred to the workstation application and to storage data in IDoc type DOCMAS04 if an original file exists to a document. The Remote Function Call interface protocol transfers the contents of the original file, for example text or design drawing.
You can determine whether you want originals of a certain document type to be distributed by ALE into another system under the setting Document Management System  Define document type  Define transport of originals for ALE. You can control distribution with various criteria.
You want to distribute all original files of the application WRD (Microsoft Word) for the document type R-1 (report) that are stored in vault VAULT1 (Vault for Office Applications). You do not want to distribute documents of the same document type for the application WWI (Winword 6.0).
You can process the status for the desired objects.
    1.     Select in Customizing Cross Applications Components  Distribution (ALE)  Standard ALE Business Processes  Logistics  Master Data Distribution  Integrated Distributed PDM Solution (ID PDM)  Object status (for example, Define BOM status).
    2.     Process the indicator Distribution lock
