Alert.show on iphone

Hi fellow packagers,
is it possible to have an Alert.show()
import mx.controls.Alert;
Alert.show("message to show","name of window", Alert.YES | Alert.NO, null, close, null, 2);
I'm getting a message that Alert is actionscript 2 only, never seen that one before!
So is this correct. I have been reading a recently written book called "Beginning Air" and its in there
so I'm confused.

i have tried this new charset combination specifically for iphone and i m waiting for response from sweden alliance.....i hope this works fine as iso works great for 8-bit characters.
would like to have your thoughts though.

How can I choose another computer in the same Wi-Fi network to sync my iPhone, while both two computers' iTunes shows my iPhone on their left list?

I got an iMac first, let me call that iMac "A", and I used to sync my iPhone to A. Then I got a macbook, let me call that macbook "B". When I use B for the first time, I used Migration Assistant to transport all the files and settings from A.
After that, when I use A and B in the same Wi-Fi network, both of their iTunes shows my iPhone on their list. And I can sync my iPhone to both A and B without the warning window showed up. But, I can't manage both two iTunes library at the same time, so I want to choose only B to sync my iPhone. And I found out that, in fact, my iPhone always trying to sync with A, not B, when I turn on the Wi-Fi sync option. Now I can only use cable to sync my iPhone with B, and that's not over. I found sometimes all of my apps are selected when I tried to sync my iPhone with B, no matter how many times I changed that setting, the next time all the apps will come back to be selected again!
How can let my iPhone forget A and accept B?

Actually I think we need to wait on an update from iTunes to update its compatability with the new iPhone software. They usually release a new version of iTunes with the iOS. So I hope to see an update from apple by the end of the week or maybe even today.
Needless to say. I am experiencing the same issue as well. I've tried all the proposed fixes listed above. It's gotta be a software compatability issue.

I am having a issue with getting data useage alerts for my iphone 4s

I am having a issue with getting data useage alerts for my iphone 4s from AT&T. I do not download anything huge at all.
I looked into it and figured out that the phone dials out nightly at 12:29am every night. I went into my settings and went to general..about..diagnostics and useage..then diagnostics and useage data to see this. I then clicked don't send...but I am still getting useage alerts. Can anyone help me please...

Honestly, from reading the thread linked, they all come off as a bunch of whiney people that cannot be bothered to help themselves.
Little to nothing in that thread indicates an issue beyond inept consumers. Yes, I read several pages on the incessant gripes. Very few made any actual attempts to troubleshoot issues before whining about the "Apple issue" and those that did actual troubleshooting got their issues resolved.
So no, Apple has nothing to fix beyond a few specific devices that are experiencing hardware issues.
If you have actually put forth effort and done the basic troubleshooting, take the device to Apple for evaluation and possible replacement. Whining will get nothing accomplished.

I cannot address the sync services error right now, but the error that you receive when you change from sync to manually manage music is what happens when you change. Once you change to manually manage music, it erases all of the music and will only put the music that you want on the phone, content that you manually drag over to it. If the problem persists, you'll probably have to make another apple id, it wont take off any games or music or apps or anything you've bought it will all stay there, i have two apple id's and i don't have a problem with anything.

TS1363 My Iphone 5 will not sync with my Itunes. I have updated my drivers, uninstalled and reinstalled my Itunes, done all the necessary steps. Ever since the new software update it will not sync and will not even show my Iphone when i open Itunes.

My Iphone 5 and Itunes no longer sync after I updated my IOS to 7.1 I have done multiple things to troubleshoot. Uninstalled drivers, reinstalled drivers, uninstalled Itunes, reinstalled Itunes, etc.. It will not show my Iphone in Itunes anymore and will not sync.

I just updated itunes to 12.1 and now it won't sync or show my iphone 5s.. I have tried EVERYTHING. I completely uninstalled & reinstalled my itunes 2 times. Everything is completely up to date, and when I plug my iPhone into the computer, it makes the normal beep sound, and charges, but will not sync or show on iTunes so that I can sync anything..

I know you have said you have tried everything but have you tried out some of the troubleshooting in the article below? For instance, have you checked the Apple Mobile Device support is installed properly and if the Apple Mobile Device is installed? Take a look at the article below to double check some of the things you have done to see if you can get your iPhone to show back up.

Well, me and my three days of Flash Builder are lost in the woods. I have no idea how to do what you suggest. The code Google's showing me seems to call for scrapping my working functional program and starting from scratch. For a message box.
Can I add a message box to my existing code?

Not all the pictures in iPhoto album show on iPhone photo

In one album in Iphoto not all the pictures show on Iphone photo album?

Go to your Pictures Folder and find the iPhoto Library there. Right (or Control-) Click on the icon and select 'Show Package Contents'. A finder window will open with the Library exposed.
Look there for the iPod Photo Cache.
Trash it. Start iPhoto and try sync again.

Alert showing in invisible mode?

Hello,
I've created a popupmanager to display a panel,
The thing is, that when i activate the pop up, and then activate an Alert.show, the alert is invisible.
If for example I activate the alert first, the alert is visible. I dont know how is this happening.
Any ideas?

Does anyone has clue to this problem. Since system defined alert also not working in update mode, hence I need urgent attention from all users pls.

With the current version of iTunes the left-hand sidebar that you could get to show has been removed. Now when a device is connected you should get a device icon towards the top left of the iTunes screen next to the content type icons - click on that and you should get a list of categories down the left-hand side for the phone, one set selecting and syncing content from your computer's iTunes, and then a second set for showing what is currently on the phone.
Does that device icon show ?
