Adobe form- Images based on conditions

HI Experts,
I have to put 2 logos which are based on company codes.
Logo1 condition:- Standard Logo for each company code except for BREEZ, where the MAIN standard logo will be placed.
Logo2 condition:- Standard Logo for BREEZ, if other company code no logo will be displayed.
where to do coding for the same
Do i need to upload the logos or we reach it with scripting.

you can write code logic in the interface used in the adobe form.
in the interface screen, below you will have two tabs, select the conditions tab and pass the condition variable, use the availabe operators and thus the logic for the logo can be set in 'form interface'.

One of the very few options you have is loading them all into the form as embedded images, and then dynamically making the visible and hidden depending on your conditions.
Dynamic loading of images (from a URL or remote location) was completely removed from Interactive Forms a while ago as it was deemed insecure. (and it is)
The second option is loading them all into your SAP system and then making a webservice which you call with a trigger to return you the binary form of the image, which you can read by creating the correct type in the Context.

How to upload an image on Adobe form and add some condition for image display?

hello,
you need to use Image field, not only and image to display the picture chosen in backend. For a simple image you need only image field. Check there is a checkbox "embed image data" and set it to true.
You need to pass the picture as a XSTRING from backend if I remember it well. Please check How to integrate Adobe form

Display image based on conditions.

Hi every one.
We have to display image (circle) based on three conditions.
Example; if employee is < 1000 small circle, if salary is > 1000 and < 10000 medium size circle and >10000 big size circle.
And second condition if employee location is East coast fill black color in that circle, west coast red color central green color.
Third condition is if employee joining date is less than two years I should display * (Star symbol) in that circle.
I am trying to create conditional format but it is possible to display only one image .
My question is how can I change size and color if the image based on conditions and display start symbol with in the image.
I think I have to create different own images to display for every conditions.
Is there any way to create my report?

If you want to display everything in one image for end user you need to do some trick.

Create few more columns in your answers, as following
Salary decode value: based on your original salary decode it to 1 or 2 or 3
region decode value: based on your regions decode it to 10 or 20 or 30 or 40
joining date decode value: based on joining date decode it to 100 or 200
Image code add all of decoded values ie 1+10+100 = 111
In report show image based on image code
i.e from above table row1 image code is 111 (small black circle), last record BigCircle Red with Star.
Pain full thing is you need to create 24 images on your own(3(salary range)*4(regions)*2(join dates) =24) and place all 24 conditions in that column.

Webdynpro for ABAP - Adobe form ISR based

Hi,
We are building a custom HR application to automate various HR processes
like New Hire, Termination, etc.. Due to certain internal issues we are
unable to use the standard business package for MSS (and hence PCR screens
with adobe forms). We have to create custom webdynpro abap screens for the
whole application. Now i would like to check if there is a possibility to
use the ISR framework with a custom webdynpro abap application.
I checked the transaction QISRSCENARIO but i could not find any option for
webydnpro abap in "Entry type for Web".
Have anyone of you tried such a scenario earlier with ISR's? Is there any other way
that we can use webdynpro ABAP applications with ISRs? Or do we have any
work around for this.

I am able to see if it is not interactive.
Displaytype is native only.
Let me explain you the issue in detail:
Currently Client is calling ZFORM thro Java. They have some issues with JAVA so they want to use Webdynpro to call that ZFORM and the form is ABAP Dic based.
For Templete source I gave ZFORM name, and it automatically created a 'NODE' wrt the context in the ZFORM.
Now I have to pass data from difft node attributes to that 'NODE'.

How to remove the border of an Adobe Form Image Field

Hello everyone
I am using Desinger 8.0.
Form properties: Preview type = Print Form (One-side):
I am using an "image field" to include a image from the transaction SE78.
There is always a box arround the image. How can I remove that box?
I am using the "Image field" because the image will change depending on conditions.
Here is my setting:
Object: Field
                   type    = Image Field
                   Sizing = Scal Image Proportionally
            Binding
                    Default Binding (Open Save Submit) = $record.GRAPHIC
                    (Graphic is defined in the global area in the interface)
Layout :
              AnchorX: 171.477mm AnchoY: 15.111mm
              width:       78.175mm Height :   21.777mm
               Margins: all at 0mm
               Caption Position: None
Border:
           Edges: Edit Together
                       None
            Background fill: None
Based on my understanding, with border edges to none I should not have any border arround the image But I still have it.
Any suggestions?

Unfortunattely the Field tab doesn't have the Appearance in it.
The field tab contain only the following Items:
Type : Image Field
Caption:
URL
Embed Image Data
Sizing: Scale Image Proportionally
Presence: Visible
Locale: Default locale
There is no item named "Appearance".
I am using AdobeLiveCycle Designer 8.0

Adobe form- image overlapping

Hi ,
I have got a scenario in with one image needs to be printed on top of other.
1) the seal of the company
2) on top of seal the signature of the enduser.
the seal of the company will be one and the signature of the user will be changing based on the person who created the document.
now the problem -> when i put the signature on top of seal ,some area is in white due to white background in signature.
how i can make the signature transparent. i googled a lot but not found a good solution.
Let me know if somebody has solution to this problem

Hi yahpal,
you got access to the original signature file? If so, take gimp or photoshop and clear the white out. That means just crop the image and your issue will be solved.

Create a master page set. One for front page and other for back page.
Make your hierarchy as Front Page - Oddpages
Back page - Even Pages
in placement options use, for first page only.

Display an image based upon condition A

I am displaying layers based upon windows username. If User B, then Layer B. If Username A, then Layer A. etc. Do you see that is compatible with Acrobat Reader 9? It would appear as if the OCG methods will not work as Reader doesn't support the setIntent OCG object Maybe with another function like backgrounds or watermarks?
The only thing the layer contains is a picture. Can we get the pictures to display using another method other then OCG?
Please advise.

You can place a picture as a button icon. You can also show/hide buttons with JavaScript.

Processing in Adobe forms

I need to do some data processing in the adobe form. Based on some condition, I would like to move the value of a the record being looped to a structure being passed to the form and clear the internal table record's field.

To make TEXT field in adobe forms dynamic

Hi Experts,
I have requirement in adobe forms where based on certain condition I want change the TEXT field accordingly.
Example if material number in of gas type than text will be "GAS MATERIAL" and then populating corresponding material number.
If itu2019s of hard goods type than text has be "HARD GOODS MATERIAL".
Please let me how this requirement can be achieved ASAP.

Hi,
Yes you can definitely make a field dynamic. Bind the text fields with varibale of type Material Number and its description which will have to create in the context (Interface) of the adobe forms. These values you can pass from your driver program or Web-Dynpro.

Sfp adobe form for production order

I need to supress printing a field within an adobe form base upon a condition. I customized print program to allow printing production orderwhen order type is RM01 but I do not want to print the barcode field OPSDATA-RUECK. I need to know how to supress printing under certain circumstances.
How do I condition a field to prevent printing?

the printers first need to be configured by the BASIS consutant who will assign printers to Users based on their Roles and authorizations and i think this is a Config activity and needs to be transported
also from the menu go to user profile, under own data and under defaults Tab, you need to assign the printer here and save it and first log off and then i think it should help
also check in the Control key setting in OPL8 which you have used for routings operations whether they allow printing shop floor papers and confirmations and time tickets based on your requirements

Status inside the adobe form in HCM Forms and Process

Hi,
We have developed a custom HCM Process with 2 level approval. Is there a way to get the status of the previous step onto the form. I mean the 2nd approver should be able to see whether the form is approved or rejected by 1st approver.
We are trying to add this in new comments so that it will reflect in previous comments when the form is sent to 2nd approver. But unable to find the correct place to add the logic.
If anyone worked on this solution, please suggest.

Hi Swamy,
You can get this from the table T5ASRSTEPS and field is PROC_STATUS. This table T5ASRSTEPS is linked to T5ASRPROCESSES and you need to use the PROCESS REFERENCE NUMBER for this.
You can bind this information to a FIELD in the ADOBE FORM and based on the FORM SCENARIO STAGE you can make this field visible / hidden.

How to add another row dynamically in Adobe Forms ?

Hello All,
Can someone advise on how am I able to add another row to my table upon the click of a button in Adobe Form ?
Based on some sample PDFs that I downloaded from the net as reference, it seems that all I need to do is add the statment "_Car.addInstance(1)" in the script editor that will trigger upon a clicking of a button where Car is a subform that is of Type : Flow Content and Direction : Table Row set.
Any suggestion/advise will be greatly appreciated.

in NW 2004s, this will be possible on the client using a special forms library object provided by Adobe.
Be aware, though, that while you are able to add any number of additional lines on the PDF, the original Web Dynpro context is not aware of these actions. This means that your application needs to create the corresponding new nodes in the context before the data contained in these nodes can be submitted back to the application.
