All connections in the universal connection pool are in use

I know it's the problem with connection pool is leaking or the some of the connection is not being released properly. Where are the parameters I can change in Weblogic?
I'm getting the following error in my OIM application running on WebLogic:

It's not an issue WebLogic can address. The thortech application is independently using
the UCP connection pool product, not WebLogic connection pooling, so Thortech APIs
would be the only way to debug/reconfigure the UCP.

    My MacBook Pro retina 2013 won't charge. I've checked all connections which are all ok. Little red light shows on magnetic plug, instead of usual green.

    If you are seeing a Red LED, you may have a faulty MagSafe Adapter.
    I remember reading that the orange light is produced by a combination of a Red and Green LED. If that's the case, It seems that the adapter isn't lighting the green LED properly at that time.
    I would suggest you seek service with your nearest Genius Bar (Apple Retail Store) or Apple Authorised Service Provider as they have access to diagnostics which may assist in isolating any hardware issues you may be experiencing.

  • JDBC connection pool failures when used by JMS stores

              We are using WebLogic 6.1 sp2. We defined a separate connection pool for use by
              a JMS Store.

              Targets="cluster00"
              InitialCapacity="2"

              (note that the @xxx@ string are replaced by actual values).
              We are using Sybase Jconnect 5.5 to a Sybase ASE 12.5 database.
              We deployed this configuration on a number of environments (testing, staging,
              ..). The actual hardware and network configuration is different for the different
              system, but the WebLogic domain stays the same regarding this issue.

              This problem did not occur on another system which was used during a 2 day stress
              testing session.
              It seems that the problem occurs after a period in which no user request where
              made. The user requests trigger EJB's that start sending JMS messages.
              When the problem occurs, the JMS messaging systems seems to lock up as no messages
              are received anymore by the different listeners (MDBs).
              Undeploying and redeploying the JBDC connection pool solves the problem. This
              solution is unacceptable in case of a production system.
              A similarly defined connection pool, which is used by the EJBs to make database
              connection, does not manifest this problem.

              Some sources on the internet tell us that JZ0C0 errors in the Jconnect driver
              can be related to network problems. Nevertheless the connection pool should be
              able to cope with this.
              Can you provide any solution for this ? Or give us hints what can cause the problem

    thanks! Joe.
    The SQL statement itself can no longer be simplified, the long excuation time is due to the database size and complicated Select criteria. I can easily reproduce the problem by using this SQL. I tried "BEA's Oracle driver (Type 4): Version 8.1.7,9.0.1,9.2.0". the question can be dissect into 2 pieces:
    1) why the jdbc connection (using oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver) won't return anything if the SQL execution time > 5min, that is probably the Oracle's problem
    2) why the occupied connection pool won't release even I set "Statementtimeout=600", this is Weblogic's problem.
    ZhenhaoHi. Yes, (1) is oracle's problem. (2) may also be. The JDBC spec has very few
    allowances for one thread to interrupt a second thread's JDBC call. If we
    transmit your timeout request by calling setQueryTimeout() on the oracle
    statement, and if you have a weblogic-controlled transaction we call
    Statement.cancel() on any ongoing statement, we end up relying on whether
    the Oracle driver implements and responds to those calls.
    Are you doing weblogic-controlled transactions? Are you/can you
    call Statement.setQueryTimeout() on your statements, or are these
    generated JDBC queries?
    If you can duplicate the problem using the weblogic.jdbc.oracle.OracleDriver
    we have some other debug avenues. This would be good even if you really
    want to use the thin driver, because we will do the same JDBC calls to
    either driver, and the debug would prove (if) we set up a query timeout
    and if we call cancel(). If we do, then we can know that it is the Oracle
    driver failing in these regards.

    ------------------------

    It is so clear: host not found error for network connection and the other SID servcie name not found means your oracle instance name is not up. check with srvctl status for given servcie name or node, else check CRS_Stat -t if you are using RAC.

  • To transfer the data Cross the systems why we are not using BAPI Method?

    Hello All,
    To transfer the data Cross the systems why we are not using BAPI Method? why we are using only ALE/IDoc's?

    Hi Naveen,
       Listing down those I know -
       1. Master data is expected to be changed/created less frequestly.
       2. Transactional data is expected to be chnaged/created more frequestly.
       3. Transactions to create/change/display master data do no have message control integration, since you are not supposed to print/fax/mail master data to your partners.
       4. Distribution of master data in generally supposed to happen within Enterprise boundry and typically you will have one central server maintaining master data which will be distributed to multiple downstream operation system (Some thing where MDM fits). So ideally when distributing master data using ALE you will be sending it to multiple systems.
       5. Distributing transactional data PO/SO etc is same as sending fax/print which fits with the requirement of message control.
    Hope this helps,
    Regards,

    Looking for a drum loop app that will run in the background. Suggestions? What are you using? I tried Loopseque and I like it, but I can't make it run once I switch apps. Help please.

        That's definitely strange, kzmidge. I want a working phone in your hands though. I noticed you mentioned you received the suggestion to complete a reset. Did you already do that? Is it working again? Are you receiving an error message?
    If you hesitated a little longer to complete the reset, you can try to place your phone into Safe Mode http://vz.to/rxg0ii and see if you can access mobile sites from your browser. This mode will stop 3rd party applications from running, so you won't be able to use the apps you mentioned but we may be able to narrow down the trouble in Safe Mode. If the mobile sites work, that means the trouble may be in a recently downloaded application and you may be able to avoid the reset my uninstalling some of your more recently installed applications. If it's still giving you trouble, the reset http://vz.to/18wzOCi is the next best step.

    I am new to the forum and so very desperate for help!
    I have a T42P (2373-C61) machine. All of the sudden today, it blue-screened. I turned it off, then tried to turn it back on.
    Now, it is not coming up at all. I can not even get to the BIOS or see anything in the screen!
    All the lights/indicators are off except these two: the battery/power and the little z (the on indicator).
    The NumLk and Caps Lock indicators flash every 15 seconds or so.
    The hard drive, bluetooth, and wireless lights are off completely.
    Tried getting to the BIOS by unplugging the battery and using the AC only but nothing happens when I press F1 or the IBM button.
    Also, tried a suggestion from other users that requires unplugging Battery/AC, pressing Power button 10 times, then the 11th time for 30 sec. Still nothing happens.
    No HW/SW was added to the machine recently...
    Any suggestions is appreciated..

    It can also be the LCD itself...
    BTW, if the graphic card has failed that equals motherboard replacement since it's soldered to the planar...
    Let's hope not...
    Good luck and keep us posted.
    Cheers,
    George

  • I have a hp officejet pro 8500a plus. can i print in all black when the other ink colors are out?

    i'd like to find out if there is a way i can still in black if i have one color cartridge empty

    This model has separate ink supplies and printheads.  Ink is required in all the colors to keep the printheads and plumbing from clogging.  See this page for information on how ink is used.

  • I have downloaded an app which I wish to pay for with my App Store Card but the only options given are to use my credit card. How do I resolve this please.

    That doesn't make sense, unless you are trying to buy it as a gift, or don't have enough store credit to pay for it.
    What is the message it says?

  • I have a time capsule and two air port expresses. The time capsule is in the middle of my house, the expresses equidistant in opposite directions. I would like the expresses to both connect directly to the capsule, but they are connected in serial. How?

    I have a time capsule and two air port expresses. The time capsule is in the middle of my house, the expresses equidistant in opposite directions. I would like the expresses to both connect directly to the capsule, but they are connected in serial. How to reconfigure.
    I ask because I have music running out of both expresses, and the one that is most distant from the time capsule (routed through the first express) regularly drops the music signal from itunes. And I am guessing the serial configuration of the routers has something to do with this, but my root problem is music dropout - any thoughts would be appreciated.

    If you have the the most current model of the Express devices, the default setup is to "extend" the wireless signal.  In this type of setup, each Express communicates directly to the Time Capsule.
    How did you setup the AirPort Express devices?
    What version of the Mac operating system are you using on your MacBook?   Or, do you have AirPort Utility installed on your iPad?

  • Questions on Connection Pooling

    I already read the documentations on data-sources.xml, but I still have questions. In the following data-sources.xml (for OC4J 9.0.3):
    <data-source
    class="com.evermind.sql.ConnectionDataSource"
    name="ccf"
    location="jdbc/ccf"
    xa-location="jdbc/xa/ccf"
    ejb-location="jdbc/ccfPool"
    url="jdbc:oracle:thin:@erb:1521:prod"
    connection-driver="oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver"
    username="scott"
    password="tiger"
    max-connections="300"
    min-connections="5"
    max-connect-attempts="10"
    connection-retry-interval="1"
    inactivity-timeout="30"
    wait-timeout="30"
    />
    I know that if we want to use a connection pool, we should use "ejb-location" and it is the only one used for emulated data sources. I also know that both "location" and "xa-connection" are used for non-emulated data sources.
    Then my questions are:
    1) Does non-emulated data source mean that it can not used for connection pooling? In other words, both "location" and "xa-location" can not be used for connection pooling? The only one that can be used for connection pooling is "ejb-location"?
    2) How can I use a non-pooled connection? right now, I am using "location" for non-connnection pooling, is this the right way to do it? The documentation says that it will be deprecated in future release, then what should I use if I want a non-pooled connection? can I still use "ejb-location" by setting "min-connections" and "max-connections" to 1? This is assuming that we can NOT use "location" to get the data source.
    3) Putting the username and password in the data-sources.xml seems not be good from the security point of view. But, if I am using CMP, I must supply the username and password in the data-sources.xml. Is there another way around this?
    Thank you very much for the help in advance.

    I may not answer all ur questions.But would like to share my experiences....
    3) U can set the username and password dynamically also...we use it in orion..so u should be able to use it in oc4j..as a matter of fact, we can set all the data-sources parameters dynamically(programmatically).
    1) I may not be correct 100 percent with this :but for pooling only ejb-location is used and for non pooling location is used.
    For non pooled connections also, use ejb-location and dont give any max and min connections..let it take the default values...
    I am not aware that Oracle is going to deprecate the location ..well it is good to hear this which will reduce some confusion..
    seems there is lot being raised on these topics..
