okay well another question the track pad on my 11 inch mac got stuck and wouldnt work and i took it to the apple store and had a tech look at it and he said it was working and i got home and it still wouldnt work so i took it back again to another tech and he said the guy before didnt fix it right and he said it was broken and that i needed a new track pad and he said he would replace it but they didnt have any trackpads in the store at the time but he fixed it enough that it barely works but he said i needed to come back to get a new trackpad because he fixed it enough that it would only work for a short period of time, so i went back the other day to another tech and told him and he said that since it still works they wouldnt do anything about it. but it barely works and barely clicks down should they fix it since the one tech told me it will only work for a short time and that if i came back they would replace my trackpad ? i have apple care and i am still under the 1 year warranty.

Help please is there any way to have 2 iphone 4's which are updated on the same account and not have the same stuff on each phone i.e. contactsm, apps, and calendars? we like the fact if one purchased an app and other wants to get same app its free!!!!

we updated both of our iphone 4 on the same computer and we have always shared the same itunes account which is convenient when one purchases an app the other person can simply download app without purchasing again!!! but we do not want all same contacts and app on both phones!!! after updating and setting up icloud we both had same contacts so i went in contacts on my phone and began deleting his numerous contacts on my phone well not knowing that it was deleting on his phone also!!! oops he tried restoring from backup with no luck retrieving his contacts !!! also another issue i have noticed is the manual says that in order for it to sync ur phone must b plugged into a power source well and i have noticed it saying syncing w my phone when it was not plugged anything wall nor computer and it looks as tho in the summary at the bottom where it displays capacity and free space that it is gonna take everything off of my phone but nothing changes on my phone!?! do we just need to get him a separate itunes account to be able to get full benefits from update?!

Here's how to do it.
1. App Store, iTunes Store should have the same AppleID on Computer and iPhones. (Free to share apps, music and books... )
2. Person A uses the same purchasing account for everything (ie. email, contacts and ...).
3. Person B have the same purchase account see no. 1 (for App Store and iTunes Store) but create a second AppleID for iCal, e-mail, contacts and etc.

Is there any way to have a COMPLETE list of all samples and loops ( Logic 8

I'm sure it's been posted previously, but anyway, I'm looking to buy new Apple Loops libraries and I have faced the fact , that many of the sounds and loops produced by third parties manufacturers have been already included in Logic installation discs.
I have a list of Apple Loops DVD's that have been included with Logic somewhere, the problem is, Apple didn't post ( I believe) the credits of all 3rd party manufacturers that have produced these libraries that are included with Logic or Garage band. Is there any way to have a COMPLETE list of all samples and loops that are included with Apple DAW's so I wouldn't duplicate anything ? I'm pretty much positive that Apple had other companies to sound design and sample all libraries for them, so is there also a way to have a list of those manufacturers? Again, the objection is to start upgrading the sound library without any possible duplication?

Chris, I certainly don't mind additional questions and postings.
I believe there are many issues with Apple Loops and Logic that need to be resolved and people need to be aware of that. Unfortunately, in opposite to the old "german" version of Logic , there's no lifetime tech support, you can't even call and ask the question after 60 days , which isn't right for a professional software of this level, especially considering the fact that many things still remain vague in Logic even for developers and tech support people!( believe me, I've called and asked!)
Issues like that need to be resolved over the phone with the company, period!
One thing I also learned over the years as a Mac OSX user, if something doesn't work, don't mess with it. Delete your drive and re-install everything. This is very frustrating , I know, but unfortunately this is the only way to deal with OSX issues, if you got a problem with your system, don't try to fix it. It's never gonna be the same again. I know , it's off the topic a little bit, but if your content is missing from the system files, before installing your new Logic, back up your important files, wipe up your drive and clean install Mac OSX , run updates and then install the Logic. Most likely , everything will be in it's place, at least 90% or more. I gave up trying to make two system in my house to be compatible 100% , but it's OK if they're 90% or more identical. I spent enormous amount of time trying to find out what's missing and where, I visited most of the forums and there's no clean answer.

Is there a way to have one flash player play all movies on a web page ?   For example, you have a list of FLV movies on a page and you click on any them and it will play on the same player on the web page. Or does each movie needs it's own ?

Yes, for the design I made, the movies are loaded from the server. Here is the code for the design. It is done using AS2, and the stage includes two buttons (s1, s2) for playing the individual videos, one button to play them both (playall), one after the other, and the video object (video1_video) that was added via small menu you find at the top of the library panel's frame.
I cannot say this would work directly for your implementation, but it gives you some things you can look into so that you can figure out how.

I have tryed to load mountain lion several times and it just freezes for days on end is ther any way of reversing my dession back to snow leopard as i think it too muctch to dowload and when it does parts are missing and my epson scanner 3170 photo does not work as effeciant as it did i am not to pleased with it at all and think this download should be on a disk.

If you don't have a backup make one now of all your own data, you can just drag your Documents folder to another disk, assuming that is where you keep your own data. Then erase the disk with Disk Utility by booting up holding cmd-r. Choose Disk Utility > Erase tab from the screen that is presented. Then install from your SL disk.

Is there any way to have unique setup for each Application in a single CSF

I am finding that i need more control with CSF files than just syncronising a generic setting that was made in one application...
For example, for the same workflow, I need to have different policies in different applications such as:
"Preserve CMYK" in Photoshop to correctly honor profiles in the images etc,
"CMYK off" in indesign to properly preserve the Separation for my output style.
Is there any way that i can make one CSF file that works differently on each application?

I'm not a ID power useful. I do own and use it ocassionally but I'm linking all the documents. That said, if I want say ProPhoto RGB to be the preferred RGB working space and I open a doc in sRGB, is that a problem in ID? Converting to ProPhoto in this case is senseless. Just leave the document in sRGB. Upon output, multiple images in differing color spaces should (should) be OK upon conversion to an output color space. Does ID have to have all images in the same color space to print?
This is probably more evident when looking at a CMYK workflow. Although indesign will let you export PDF's with multiple different embedded profiles, I try to avoid this as it tends to result in issues like illustrator graphics that contain black objects which separate into 4 colour and cause potential registration issues on press etc...
I am trying to remove all CMYK profiles and then asign an output intent by creating a PDFX file but so far the only way to consistently & reliabaly do it appears to be to set the CMYK policy to off in indesign...
IMO a print ready PDF should only have one profile which describes the printing propcess that will be used to for the file.

Syncing my iPhone via USB cable and iTunes to Outlook 2011 syncs only my calender correctly to Outlook 2011. My iPhone contacts sync wit Apple's contacts, where I don't want them.
