Restting the iPad may reset the Newsstand app as well. One other thing that you can try is to quit Newsstand, restart the iPad and see if that helps.
To quit Newsstand - Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit the app by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on the Newsstand app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus (-) sign in the upper left corner to close the app. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
BTW .... When you download an app again via the Purchased Tab from the App Store, you are downloading from the cloud. That is one of the features of iCloud. Your app purchases are stored "in the cloud" and downloaded from there. There is no need to sync with your computer.

If the phone is unlocked then you can use it in India.
If your phone is locked, then the only way to get the phone unlocked is to contact your phone company/carrier. The person that sold you the phone in Saudi should have told you whether it was locked or unlocked. Contact them to check and then contact the carrier to have it unlocked if it is locked.
Other than that there is not a lot that you can do - perhaps it was unwise to purchase a phone in Saudi - it won't have Facetime on it if you got it there.

Yeah, I've lost my SB Audigy installation CD, and after a recent format I can't install AudioHQ, Creative Recorder, PlayCenter and all that software - I just have the drivers, which I downloaded from the internet. Is there any chance to have my microphone working again? Becasue ATM it does not work, I bet I need some software from the insallation CD to get it to work, but I no longer have that CD! Can I download what I need from the internet? Can I somehow get another insallation CD? Finally, will it work if I plug my microphone into my motherboard's integrated soundcard, and my headphones into SB Audigy? Help me... I'm gonna have an important UT2004 scrimmage soon, and without a mic I'm useless there!

It cannot be installed. It comes pre-installed on every iPhone 4S and later. Maybe it was disabled under Settings > General > Restrictions.

iOS 6 only added support for the 3rd generation iPad. It was always on the iPhone 4S. Then the same goes for your boss: Maybe disabled in restrictions, or maybe actually an iPhone 4.

It sounds like it is too late to back up. Did you not think of that the first 16 times? It is probably no good anyway due to corrosion from the water all those times. Buy a new phone.

iPhones purchased in the UAE do not have FaceTime installed and FaceTime will not appear regardless of where the phone is taken.
Jailbreaking will void your warranty with Apple, may permanently render your phone unusuable, and will eliminate the possibility of getting help from Apple or its forums including this one.
If you want FaceTime on an iPhone, sell that phone and purchase one from one of the authorized iPhone dealers in India.

Hello! Is there any combination of OS Lion and iTunes that can run radio streams (primarily pls-streams) without cutting (rebuffing) it for at least 3-4 hours? I am running Lion (10.7.1) on an early-2011 MacBookPro with iTunes 10.3.1 and I am frustrated, because it will cut the stream at least once per hour (it's totally random), while my older MacBook, running Tiger with iTunes 9.2.1 doesn't have any such problems ... Any solution?

Maybe you should upgrade iTunes to the current version - 10.5.3 - and upgrade Lion to 10.7.3.

If my IPHONE 5 order status has changed from "processing" to "preparing for delivery" is there a chance I will receive it sooner than the 10/5 date that it is scheduled for?

I was in the same boat. I ordered @ 5:09AM EST on 9/14 and had the 10/5 delivery date. My status changed from processing to preparing to ship yesterday 9/21. I got an e-mail from Apple @ 4:22AM this morning 9/22 that it has shipped (along with the precious tracking #)! I would expect it would arrive by this Friday 9/28 at the latest.

In the past when I wrote a FoxPro app I never used the system generated menu. I somehow thought a form with command boxes looked better. I can be a hard head.
The application I am working on was written by someone else and he used the system menu's. The menu bar and all associated dropdowns. I need to change (edit) the compiled menu, because I deleted many of his existing forms and replaced them with Forms I created.
The project manager that I was given was from VFP7.0.....the previous developer didn't want to give up his cash cow. I created a new Project manager and perused the Drive to collect the tables, forms, programs etc...I have edited, changed and totally re-wrote
everything and it is done. The help I got here was invaluable.
I went into the project manager and edited the "menu.mnx" from there, followed that up by editing the menu code "xxxmenu.mpr" in notepad. But the menu has not updated. I have had this problem before and I ended up deleting the entire
menu and totally recreating it. I have read and researched and have not found how to do this. I really don't want to re-write the entire thing. I am sure there is a simple remedy, but I haven't found it.
I really want to deliver a completed application to my customer on Monday. The menu is the last thing.
What am I missing?

I read all of the instructions and people have always talked about the "generate menu" button....I figured they were drunk because I never saw such a choice. I only looked in the project manager menu options.
After reading your response, I again clicked on "Modify" in the project manager and scratched my head again then looked up and saw the "menu" option in the menu bar......unbelievable. I really searched and searched for that, this something
I shouldn't have to ask about.
It was too simple.
aside.....I would wager that we all save memorable quotes we have encountered in life. I find that Robert Frost is listed in that section of my mind often. Now I have a new tab and the author is English Bob. He said "This is being creative, not
drudgery"......good line.
