All my songs aren't uploading too my iPhone?
Yesterday I had my new 5s and my old 4s both plugged into my mac and now both of my phones have these symbols next to a lot of my songs and they WONT play. I've pressed the "stop" symbol and it will fade like the songs have but a second later it will brighten right but up to what it looks like in the picture. A little bit later it was as if a few of them loaded themselves onto my phone and they play. But there are still quite a few that wont play! How do I fix this????? Do I need to do a restore of my phone and reload all my stuff back onto my phones?

I'm getting error -69 when syncing my ipod and all my songs aren't syncing onto my ipod?
I recently experienced errors 1602 and followed these (http://www.personalcomputerfixes.com/general-errors/how-to-fix-itunes-error-1601 -or-1602-when-restoring-an-iphone-ipod/) steps to fix it. After restoring my ipod, I tried syncing and only the songs I purchased on my ipod synced(except for 1 song for some reason). Syncing is when error -69 tells me I cannot sync my other songs onto my ipod. Any help with fixing this problem is appreciated.

Songs won't upload to my iPhone 5 (ios 7/itunes 11 update)
So... I just got the new update for both my phone & iTunes....
I downloaded a few songs from soundcloud & put them on my iTunes.
I tried to drag the songs to my phone & then I hit auto sync. It looks like it renders for one second then stops.
I look at my phone to see if it was uploaded and nothing. I'm so frustrated!Bump. I had this issue yesterday with my iPhone 6 (iOS 8.0) and the latest iTunes on OSX.
Two things actually. I added 4 new playlists and even after syncing (seemingly successfully), the playlists were not on the iPhone. Also, there was about 30 songs which I did a bulk renaming on to remove redundant info. These songs under the old track names were still on my iPhone after the sync and they played fine. However, in the iTunes explorer for 'On This Phone', the tracks with the new track names were greyed out with dotted circles on the left of the list.
I ultimately resolved it by unchecking the sync music box, doing a sync (which deletes all of the music...3250 songs), and then rechecking the sync music box and doing another sync. I'm not keen on this as a solution due to stressing the storage (writing to it too frequently) and it just takes too long with as much music as I have.
Anyone else have a solution to this? -

OK, so uncheck that option and sync your device.
Once the sync is complete, check that option again, and sync to see if it syncs up.
Also, make sure that on your Summary page, you don't have Sync Only Checked Songs selected.

It's possible your child just messed around with these settings and moved the dock to the left or right and triggered auto-hide and so forth -
ITunes is not syncing all of my songs in my library to my iPhone
I have the latest macbook retina model 15 inch, syncing with an iPhone 6 plus. Please help me out here guys, why aren't all my songs syncing. Most of my songs are purchases, no corrupt files, all purchases are authorized for my computer ... can come genius please help me why all my songs aren't syncing. I have 1512 that all play on my macbook and will shuffle no problem. Yet in the iTunes summary it shows 1506, and on my phone it only shoes 1503.

You can check to see how your iPod is configured to sync music from under its Music configuration tab in iTunes. To access this tab, plug your iPod in and select it from under Devices. This should bring you to the iPod's Summary pane. Locate the Music tab along the top and select it. Here you can configure what and how music is synced to your device.
If you make any changes from under this tab, be sure to hit the Apply button in the lower right hand corner to sync the updated changes to your device.

my photo's aren't uploading from my iphone to my icloud. What am I doing wrong? I've got photo stream ON on my iphone but when I open my icloud account I have no access to pictures. Help!
I think you are confused between Photo Stream and iCloud backup, which are two different services.
iCloud backup will backup your entire device. You are not able to access this backup from a computer, it is only used to restore your phone to its previous state.

Photo Stream is a syncing service which will sync all devices set up with your Apple ID. It will only sync photos from the last 30 days, and since Photo Stream was enabled. Photo Stream does not count towards your iCloud storage space.

Can you explain what you have done whilst matching your library. I have explained in previous posts what you should expect to see.
The tracks with the download icon are in the cloud but if they have the download icon, this would suggest that the originals are no longer on your computer. Where are the original files?
Your original post was regarding tracks not in the cloud. If you create a smart playlist with any of the following criteria - iCloud status not = matched, not = uploaded and not= purchased, you will establish tracks not in the cloud. What do you see when you have done this?

The frustrating part about the restore is that is seems to be finished when it in fact is not. The restore will look "finish" and your phone will be at the Swipe to Unlock screen. If you swipe and look at your home screen at this point of the restore, you'll see everything is not quite right. While the process seems to be not doing anything just leave the phone attached and do something else for about an hour. This part of the process is not mentioned during the restore operation. I believe there are about two steps to the restore process: 1) restore the phone settings (ringtones, background, notification settings, etc.) and give the user the unlock screen; 2) without letting the user know there is still more to do, begin the slow process of restoring all the music, movies, apps and what not. It's this second step that causes the confusion. Nothing lets you know to wait that process out. I've restored a couple devices from a computer backup and the 2-step process looks the same.

Thanks much!When you say "account," do you mean your iTunes library, because your iTunes library is what is on your computer? Your iTunes library does not have an email address. An account that is related to iTunes is your Apple ID (which is an email address) and you use it as your user name to sign in to the iTunes Store, to make purchases. Changing your Apple ID will not make songs disappear from your computer's iTunes library.
If you had an Apple ID and used it to make song purchases from the iTunes Store, and then started using a different Apple ID, you should be able to re-download the songs purchased with the old Apple ID. In iTunes, sign in to the iTunes Store using your OLD Apple ID (and password). That may not be your current email address, but Apple uses it as your user name, so it does not matter.
On the iTunes Store Home screen, click on Purchased under QUICK LINKS. This takes you do the Purchased screen, where you can re-download previous song purchases (for that Apple ID) at no cost.
NOTE: If those song purchases are from more than a few years ago, you may also need to authorize your computer to play (and sync) songs for your old Apple ID.
For songs that were not purchased from the iTunes Store, if they are also gone, you cannot get them back unless you have a backup (or they are still loaded on your old iPod).
If that's not what you mean by "changed the email address on my account," please post back with more details. -
When I manually upload new music onto my iPhone 5 it causes existing music to no longer be playable and a circle with an exclamation mark to appear next to it. Or that it won't upload at all, the song is in grey with a dotted circle next to it. This is incredibly frustrating; especially as I have 1.9GB free on my phone.. why is that?
Try this procedure; it has worked for many people.
Un-sync all your music to remove it from the device, then restart (hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the apple, then let go). Now re-sync your music. -
what if i do not want artwork for any song? they take too long to upload and I personally don't care to retain or see the "artwork". Can you diable this in itunes match?
Agreed. I hope they allow this some time soon or iTunes Match will remain a big disappointment for me.
