Already implemented Enhancements

Hi Friends,
I need to find out all the active Customer Exits or Enhancement Implementations that has happend to a particular application in a single instance.
e.g I am seeing a lot of screen enhancement happened to my Sales Order creation aaplication (VA01). Particularly in this case all the enhancements are coming from Enhancement spot BADIs.
Is there a way to find out them without doing the standard search process? Any table (Like we have MODSAP for Customer Exits)??

    Two ways: use SE19 and Try Z* to search.
Else Go to TADIR table:
and give Selection criteria as
PGMID           = RXTR
Object           = IEXT

I am implementing the Enhancement for Quality notification using screen exit:QQMA0001 for the transaction code :QM01,QM02,QM03.
when i was creating the subscreen in function group:XQQM and after saving that subscreen(for example 100) , it is automatically stored in local object, that mean local package or development class. it is not transporable.
my requirement is , i want to transport that Project. how to do that.

yes of course , I have created already customer enhancement in CMOD.but my requirement is ,
when i save that subscreen after creation of subscreen, it is not ask Package or development class.but it is taking local object(local package) automatically . what is reason, i donot know .

BBP_WFL_APPROV_BADI - There are already implementations active

Hi
I was thinking about using badi BBP_WFL_APPROV_BADI to set up different approvers for approval of the Shopping Cart in SRM. But unfortunately I get the message "There are already implementations active". Looks like SAP is already using this BADI. Does that mean that there is no way that I can use this BADI too?

please look at BBP_WFL_APPROV_BADI in SE80. In the object tree you should see the implemantation(s).

Connection Pooling in EJBContainer if Driver already implements

Hi,
Can anybody explain the mechanism in an EJBContainer if the Driver for a particular database already implements the Connection pooling ie JDBC2.0X feature. Does the EJBContainer utilize the already pooled connections or the Container uses it own implementation of the pooledConnection interface.

Companies activate QM after they have already implemented the MM

Hi guys,
I read the help portal on the following:
In some cases, companies activate QM after they have already implemented the Materials Management (MM) and Inventory Management (MM-IM) components productively. As a result, materials may have been posted to inspection stock type using the functions of the inventory management.
In such cases, you can only activate inspection types for stock-relevant materials if you perform ONE of the following steps:
Step 1 - Post the goods out of inspection stock manually using the functions of the inventory management before you try to activate a stock-relevant inspection type.
Step 2 - Activate the desired stock-relevant inspection type(s) using the function for making mass changes to the inspection settings.
My question
1 - After step 1, how to make the stock post back into the Inspection Lot?
2 - How, which tcode and step to perform on step 2, and what is the things to be aware of on this mass changes?

Just to double confirm.
Does the following steps correct based on your direction:
Letu2019s say for example, there are 200pcs of material A (i.e. this material A is going to be executed using QM functionality) currently reside at a storage location in QA stock type (i.e. IM stock type, not the QM stock type).
And I would like to use the inspection type 01 to trigger a inspection lot for this 200pcs
I execute the following steps:
1 u2013 move the QA stock type of the 200pcs out of the QA stock type from its existing storage location to another storage location.
2 u2013 activate the 01 inspection type using QA08 for this particular material in this plant.
Does the above steps correct based on my example?

Implementing enhancement SQUE0001

Hello,
I am trying to implement enhancement SQUE0001 to enable SAP Query results to be downloaded to the SAP server.
I have activated the enhancement in SMOD and added my code to download the data to a file in include ZXQUEU01 within FM EXIT_RSAQEXCE_001.
I have also regenerated my queries but I cannot see the new Private Folder option when I run the query.
Also, when I check the Enhancement components I get the following error message:-
"You tried to read the program "RSAQEXCE" from the database. The READ REPORT
statement allows you to copy a program's source code into an internal
table. The lines of source code must not be longer than the width of the
internal table. The internal table is 72 characters wide. The source
code line is 75 wide."
I have not changed this program and I can see that the lines in this program are not longer than 72 chars so I am not sure what this error means.
Has anyone seen this before and know of a solution?

Problem in ECO implementation : Revised Item already implemented

Hi,
I have created a custom package to Implement the ECO changes in all the organizations where the target BOM exists. Previously I had only one inventory organization and this package was implementing the changes correctly.
But currently, we have created another Inventory organization, the problem is the ECO implementation is occurring for any one of the either organizations.
In this course, it is failing with the above given errors for the 2nd organization.

Implementing Enhancement Spot

Hi Experts,
           I am looking for an exhancement (Function Exit / Badi ) which will should be trigegred when user presses SAVE button in PO .(Say me22n)
           As I couldn't find suitable exit / badi....I thought of using the enhancement point provided for ME22N in the PAI module.Please correct if there is any issue upto here.

   Thanks for your reply. While saving exit 12 or exit 13 will be triggered ONLY when we make changes in standard PO item TABS.
    Let's say standard PO has 10 TABS at ITEM level. We are adding one more custom TAB there adding to that our client interest is not to include this TAB fields in EKPO structure. Hence we have to create the TAB by using screen exit option and we successfully created the TAB.
     Now take a case that we oopen ME22N with a PO no..then user did not make any changes in all the 10 standard TABS but make changes in only custom TAB...in that case exit 12 or exit 13 will not get triggered....Because they will be triggered only when you make changes to the fields which will be in EKKO or EKPO....as we are not supposed to extend EKPO ....those two exits will not be handy for us.......
     We even tried in existing BADI's ....but no BADI or exit will be getting triggering when we do not make any changes which effect EKKO and EKPO structure....
      Please let us know . if you have any idea to counter this unique problem.
       We also request you to please let us know ,if you ahve any idea, about implementing the this particular enhancement spot. Usually we can do it by SE19. But this particular spot is not allowing us to create one......

I am facing the same issue. However I learnt that we might need to use Adjusting Tool from Object Navigator/SE80 on the implementation before transporting.

Implementing Enhancement pack only on ECC

Dear All,
We are planning for implementing EHP4 on ECC system, we are currntly not on any EHP level.Currently we have this enhancement requirement to be done only on ECC system and no othr system in landscape(CRM&BW) due to some of the criticality and couple of other reasons.I would like to know is if we upgrade on ECC to EHP4 , will it have any impact on the other landscape.As I feel being portals available in CRM&BW it may be having the impact but not sure on the same.
Request you to kindly suggest wether does it has any impact if I proceed with standalone upgrade of ECC.Also request you to kindly suggest any note or link where I could find the dependency on other systems after upgrading ECC.

Hi,
There will not be much impact on your system landscapes aftre applying EHP on ECC.
However, you must advise your Functional team to carry out UAT (User Acceptance testing) and test every transactions that interface with CRM,BW etc on Test system aftre EHP on ECC complete on your Development and Test systems.
Make sure perform System copy for ECC Developmentand Test system before EHP on ECC commence.
Once everything is successfully tested functionality, then only you can carry out EHP on ECC system

Hi Vishnu,
First of all, if you are using ECC 6.0, then you will fine new Enhancement Framework wiht Enhancement Spots.
From ECC 6.0 onwards, if you want to implement BADI, you need to find the respective Enhancement Spot for that BADI in the code and go to SE19 and, give the ESpot and BADI name and then implement the same.

How to Find implemented Enhancements impementations for any Transaction ?

Hi Folks,
We are having standard transactions to find User Exits, Customer Exits, Filed Exits, BAdis..
Accordingly, in any program, we can find out the enhancement code..
Similarly, If I implement any implicit enhancement , and if others run any transaction containing similar code in part of there application, how can these implementations can be traced out by others, with out debugging entire code..??

Steps for Implementing Enhancement Spot

I want to do some enhancement using the Enhancement Spot 'HR_IN_MONWT_TD_VALUE' which has the badi 'HR_IN_MONWT_TD_VALUE'.please provide me the proper steps to implement this enhancement spot.

Exits are basically the hooks whcih SAP has provided to add your own code. There are two types of Exits:
1. Customer exits: Implemented as Function Modules within z includes. Anybody can change it and no access key is required.
2. User Exit: Implemented as subroutines within includes (any include except y or z includes). You need access for the specific include and then you can any subroutine (user exit) within that Include.
BADIs are the enhanced version of user exits where the same logic is implemented via classes and object (OOP)
Enchancement point is the latest once introduces with ECC6.0 . Not very sure about that but you can change it without any access key.

Problem in Creating Implement Enhancements for the program

Dear All,
I am trying to create some checks on the data of HR table PA0001 before displaying data from table thru se11/se16/se16n ( I should not display the core department data as per the security policy), for this I am trying to create an enhancement in the program /1BCDWB/DBPA0001 to hide the data. But I am facing this error Objet PROG /1BCDWB/DBPA0001 cannot be enhanced, Software component unknown cannot be enhanced Exception Class : CX_ENH_IS_NOT_ENHANCEABLE , its not allowing me to create any enhancements. I am attaching the screen shots for the same. Please guide me how to proceed.

I confirm that not all development objects can be enhanced.
You'll have to do another way.
One thing I don't understand is why do you use SE16 to view PA0001?
And what do you want to hide, and what is the algorithm? (so that we may be able to help you)
