Alternating row in table

I am having a problem in displaying rows of a table in alternative color. We have a table data fetched from a model. We make some changes on the table ui element and update. But we face problems in alternate color.

Hi
You can display alternating color in a table if the readonly property of a table ui element is set to true. Otherwise it will not work :(.

Can't get alternating rows style to work

I have a spreadsheet in Numbers for iPad that I'm trying to style with alternating row colors. I don't even really care if its just gray and white, but I would like any form of alternating shades since I have a ton of data in one spreadsheet. It seems that no matter what I do on the settings, though, I can't get it to work. I tried changing the background of all the cells to no fill, then to white, then to gray...none of that seemed to make any difference. I also tried to select one of the pre existing styles and tried to apply that to my table and that also didn't seem to work. If anyone out there has any suggestions I would really appreciate it.

Alternating row color is missing a row

Hi,
I've made a table and have checked the "alternating row color" box. It's working fine except for the top row, which should be colored in and isn't.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Is the top row a header row? That may prevent it from being the intended colour. If so, remove the header setting and reapply the alternating row colour.

How Get Alternating Row Colors To Work?

I've searched this forum, searched online, and followed the directions in the Numbers 3.0 Help, but I just can't get the Alternating Row Colors function to work. I'm using an iMac and a new Mac Mini, both running Mavericks, on a spreadsheet converted from Numbers '08. I've seen several screenshots of tables in discussions on this forum that seem to have Alternate Row shading; presumably they were done with Numbers 3.0. So apparently, it can be done. Need Help!

I'm about as sure as I can be that Table Style boxes having being clicked has nothing to do with the Checkbox for Alternating color rows. I've been wrong before, but I can't grasp the logic on this one, and it doesn't happen here the way you describe.

Alternating Row Colors - Interactive Report

Hello All,
I'm hoping someone out there can help me out w/this. :)
I'm a newbie working w/an Interactive Report and want to have alternating row colors as a default w/out losing the IR advantages.
I've tried javascript, but, whenever filters are applied the class gets stripped off.
Has anyone had any luck w/this?

I got it working... Adding the onload to the image is pretty awesome, I had to chuckle cause I would've never thought of that.
It wasn't working for me earlier, but, i realized after it was a silly syntax error. :P

I had used a different striping script which was written by a buddy of mine Keith Daulton (Had to throw him props for a hawt script. Works in ie6/7, FF, Chrome & Safari).

Alternating row colors. How to?

All,
When I use the Report Wizard, I can get alternating row colors. How can I get the same effect, when I use the 'create report using my sql query' option?

It is the same way that you do in it wizard reports, specify the table row colors in the display options section for gettng alternating row colors.

Alternating row fill

I am using ID CS3 to make a 90 page document of tables, though I am formating the tables as tabulated text (size: 7 pt; linespace: 8.455 pt). I am attempting to put in a background pattern for each 5 alternating rows that would (ideally) line up under each set of five rows in the document. Any tips on how to accomplish this? I can come close, but after a few pages the background patterns have already drifted down to the middle of a row.

Yes, I should have mentioned why I don't use the convert to table option in my CS3. Firstly, it increases the size of the document from 13 MB to over 60 MB (though there is probably a way to get this a bit smaller). Second--though I have not muddled around with the table options for several years--I found it unnecessarily tedious to have to reformat my tables every month when I put in the new data. Back when I did try the table option, there no adequate style sheets. Perhaps the newer versions have them.
So using just tabbed text with a background of alternating filled rows works faster and keeps the file smaller. Just have to figure out a way to get that background fill to fit properly.

Hi,
try changing the edit mode of the table when pressing the button and refresh the button. This of course turns the whole table into editable mode, but this is how it needs to work. Alternatively, you create an input form for the user to edit the new record and show the form in a popup or beneath the table. Then when the user submits the created row data, you refresh the table to shwo the new row

Merge two rows & show in a single row in table results

Hi, I need to merge 2 rows having 3 columns in a single row in table view
The cols are currently shown as :
Project NO-------(Current_Month) Revenue----------(Prior_Month) Revenue
123123 10000
20000
Revenue is a single column with revenue for diffreent Period.
10000 is for May
20000 is for April
Project NO for both are same, just the periods are different. if I am not displaying Period i need to merge the 2 rows & show as
Project NO-------(Current_Month) Revenue----------(Prior_Month) Revenue
123123 10000 20000
Please let me know how we can acheive this??

Want robust solution for alternating row color, resetting every group

I would like a solution for displaying an alternating row color for my detail rows that resets every group, so that row 1 is always gray.
Our Crystal designer provided this code to me:
@rowcnt formula, suppressed, placed in Detail row:

@resetrowcnt, suppressed, placed in Group row:

Formatting formula, placed in Color in Detail > Section Expert:

This was working fine for me.
However, it is suddenly not working in one of my reports.
The report does happen to have two groups (rowcount.png).
When the report is run, all rows are colored (rowcount02.png).
This report was previously working fine! I'm not sure what changed.
In any case... surely there must be standard code to do this very standard formatting.
I would be very grateful if someone could post some robust code to accomplish the following:
REPORT DATA IN DETAIL ROW, ALTERNATE ROW BANDING:
- Data in Detail row displays alternating row colors
- Odd rows are always shaded, even rows not
- Banding resets every group / does not continue pattern from previous group
REPORT DATA IN GROUP ROW, ALTERNATE ROW BANDING:
Some of our reports place row data in a group row (just the way it happened).
If you could also modify your code in this case.

Report Template - Standard, Alternating Row Colors

I'm using APEX 4.1.0 and theme 22 on Oracle 10g.
I have some tabular forms in my application. For 2 of those, row deletions are allowed and I have the usual select box column to manage the row deletions. Also my users like the "Standard, Alternating Row Colors" report template and would like to see the alternating row colors whenever possible. Unfortunately I get the "Error on page." browser error in IE when I check a row selector box using this template. When I use a different report template I don't get this error.
The tabular form functions correctly so this error is harmless, but I would like to know what it is for. I'm sure my users would rather not see that error.
By the way, in Firefox the firebug error count increases and I get the following error in the console:

There must be some issues the apex_4_1.min.js file, try to reload it. In apex.oracle.com the tabular form with "Standard, Alternating Row Colors" just works fine.

BUG:
When I'm selecting multiple rows in table control, only the last row is always being read inside the loop of my table control.

Notice in the debug screenshot, even if it's just in the 1st loop of table control, it automatically gets the 4th table control index, instead of the 2nd one.

Are you sure that you have selected multiple line for tablecontrol in the property window of the tablecontrol.

read the data from the internal table where mark = 'X'.
this should give you only selected records.

How to delete a row of table in Word using powershell.

I want to search for a word which is present in Table. If that word is present than I want to delete that row from table.
Can anybody help me with that. The script I am using is:

This definitely assumes the text you're trying to find only exists in a table, per your specified requirements. If it exists anywhere else, or in multiple tables, the code above is inadequate.

Unable to delete a row in table control

Hi,
I'm unable to delete a row in table control.
I have defined a selection column for my table control but it is not getting value 'X' when i'm selecting a row for deletion.
Also, when I press enter, some of the columns in table control are getting initialized. I'm passing these values to the internal table along with other columns.
