Is there a possibility to give an alternative URL for download the sources?

I've added a line to change the download URL in a few of my PKGBUILDs in case the user encounters DNS resolver errors (which a few have reported for the new site). Here's powerpill's PKGBUILD for reference.

SOAMANAGER - Alternative URLs for WSDLs and Endpoints in ECC

Hi All,
We are publishing enterprise services using SOAMANGER transaction in ECC system. In
our development environments we have no problem with the process.
However in our cert and production environments we have loadbalancers,
with SSL offload, and so both port and URLs for the endpoints and WSDLs
need to reflect the different port/url introduced via our loadbalancer
and SAP web-dispatchers.
We have looked at note 11325985, which provides good guidance - however
when we use the alternative host / port as described on page 2 of the
note the service cannot be saved and activated -
Steps for Reconstruction
Run Transaction SOAMANAGER in one of our ECC systems SED/SEQ/SEP
Activate a standard SAP enterprise service, i.e
ECC_CUSTBASICDATABYIDQR_V2
In the Transport Settings tab of the Configuration of Web Service we
enter alternative URL - our load balancers URL for cert is
erp.XXX.com and for prod erp.XXX.com. When we save the
service it produces the following error ( when we don't specify an
alternative Access URL there is no error;
ERROR: ICF: Error when creating alias node: rc: unknown nMethod:
Alias Create; return code 15

1-Use the Tx: SRT_TOOLS
2-Double-click on "Display of Extended Service in Current Client Configurations"
3-Complete the "Configuration Name" with the name of the endpoint / service
4-Click on run
5-Double-click on the "Configuration Name" found in the left tree
6-You will obtain the url you are looking for without using the SOAMANAGER
7-Enjoy

Dynamic source url in PKGBUILD

I made a PKGBUILD for a kde4 utility, it's here: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=15072
But the file name in source archive url is different from file name by which wget saves it to disc. I solved it by creating a symlink to the file with name that makepkg expects and removing it after package building.
But it's an ugly solution :-) , is there any way to do it "cleaner"?

I was a little bit confused by lines like license=(`GPL`), as I thought of some special MAKEPKG syntax.
Maybe that should be corrected to license=('GPL') or license=("GPL").
edit: I checked and the actual patch PKGBUILD uses license=('GPL').

Help with alternative URL for service endpoint

I'm trying to define a WSDL service that is behind a firewall/load balancer.   By default, the wsdl service-endpoint is defined using the same URL prefix as the wsdl page itself. (e.g https://virtual_servicename...) However, we need to have the service endpoint use a different prefix as it does get converted by the load-balancer. (i.e. a firewall rule passes the traffic between the real host names, no virtual address is used)
Question 1) -- should I be using the transport settings tab in SOAMANAGER config to create an Alternative Access URL for Transport Binding?   (I'm not sure transport binding and service endpoint are the same thing.)
If yes to Q. 1, then question 2) -- when I attempt to create an entry in this area using the correct URL, it ends with the following error: "SRT Framework exception: ICF: Error when creating alias node. Unknown"
Any pointers what alias node is needed and where to defined it?

EXECUTE->SELECT DEFAULT HOST->SAP->BC->SRT->RFC->SAP----HERE YOUR WEBSERVICE PATH , SO THAT YOU HAVE TO GET EVERY TREE PATH SHOULD ENABLE AND ACTIVE IN MENTION ABOVE. OTHERWISE U CANT ACTIVE THE BINDING AND CANT CREATE THE LINK.
GET THE ACCESS FROM THE BASIS FOR YOUR USERNAME AND YOU ABLE TO DO THE CONFIGURATION .

Craete AUR package with no url in PKGBUILD ?

Hi.
I am trying to create a package for AUR.
The package is just a script installed to /usr/local/bin
it has no url as the script is included (as source)
how can I create a package with no 'url' - when I try to upload to AUR is says I needed a url section
I created one with
url=()
but then I get (when submitting package)
'Package URL is missing a protocol (ie. http:// ,ftp://)'
Can anyone help upload an AUR package (with no ur) ?

I learnt that IIS is mandatory for working of presentation services.I'm not sure that is true, after all OBIEE can be deployed on linux which doesn't have IIS. You can run OBIEE 10g on windows with just OC4J.

Can someone help me with a problem I have publishing photos to Facebook and Flickr

I am using LR4.4 on my HP laptop (Windows 7 Home premium) with Mozilla Firefox as my default browser. I was able to publish some photos from LR to my Facebook account early in October. I have some new photos to publish, but find I now can no longer publish to Facebook. I get a message – “Facebook authentication check failed”. I have tried to reset up publishing to Facebook within LR, but when I click on the Authorize in Facebook, I get a Firefox Error Message: “The address wasn't understood Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because one of the following protocols (lightroom) isn't associated with any program or is not allowed in this context. You might need to install other software to open this address.” I have tried using IE as the default browser, but I get the following Internet Explorer Error Message: “The webpage cannot be displayed. Most Likely Cause: Some content or files on this webpage require a program that you don't have installed.” From the Adobe website (helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/kb/errors-occur-using-lightrooms-publish.html) I have unsuccessfully tried all 5 solutions to resolve this issue.
Other steps I have tried - I have removed the LR app from Facebook, then attempted to Authorize from LR. I can get through 3 steps in Facebook (request for Public Profile, accept Posting to Facebook, and accept managing FB pages), but the final step again fails. In Lightroom, after the authentication step fails, I note that the “Failed to receive authentication token” is highlighted blue. When I click on this, a popup appears (see below). I had found a suggestion that this should be changed (I can’t recall what the alternative url was – but part of it was …”export.facebook”…) but I’m not sure where this change should be made. I attempted to paste the new link into this field, but this didn’t seem to work either.
I have also tried to set up publishing of photos to my Flickr account. I go to the LR setup, which directs me to my Flickr account, and click on the authorize button. But again I get the same error message! I am just about at the end of my knowledge / ability to solve my Publishing problem. I would really appreciate you help and advice with this issue. Can you please help me?

Adding a pc to an airport extreme lan

I need to connect a pc to my macs airport network (right now it has a tower and a laptop on it)
The Airport is the flying triangle with the silver metalic Apple logo.
I bought a belkin wireless G adapter (model F5D7050 )the pc sees my airport. It knows its a secure network (I encrypted the airport when I set it up). I can't figure out how to unencrypt the network to see if I am putting the wrong password in (I know I am not but its a good place to start)... problem 1, unencrypt the network.
When I try to connect the pc I get an error message that says the network may not be available, even though it still sees it and has almost a full signal strength.
Belkins phone support said, as soon as I said the word "Apple Airport" you will have to call airport and let them to tell you how to change the settings.

Is there anyone interesting in setting up an Arch Rollback Machine?

We developed the new Arch Rollback Machine (aka. A.R.M) and running the current A.R.M service api.
Several days earlier we have a disk failed, replacing the disk and rebuilding RAID brings ~2 days downtime. We are sorry for any inconvenience that happened thus, we are looking for anyone who interesting in setting up an A.R.M api service.
Our A.R.M architecture is consisted with 4 parts: `repo-arm-server` provides package searching api backend, `archrepo2` manages package file and database, rsync script based on cronjob syncs packages with upstream daily, and NGINX used as reverse proxy for better speed and security.

Server requirements:
* An average CPU performance, we allocated 2 cores of a dual Xeon L5520 @ 2.26Ghz and load average 0.9.
* 1GB RAM, larger is better.

* 100Mbps shared Internet connection could definitely handle it, currently we use ~100GB bw per month.
* It's running a not-too-old Linux :-)
You could use your own domain as alternative URL or provide us with IP address to do load-balancing and GeoDNS if requested.

Thank you for your replies. I am setting up one machine perfectly, so that I can use that machine to image the other 29 machines. My issue is that in setting up the one perfect machine I need to create 6 different User Accounts on the machine. Four of the User Accounts are perfectly identical except for the name of the User Account. It takes a lot of time to set up the Dock and all the user preferences of each of these User Accounts. I am looking for a way to duplicate the User Accounts so that I can same some time. I want to create one user account, set it up with all the details and then duplicate it three more times.

R/3 Transactions into VC

Hello,
I would like to integrate some R/3 transactions into VC. I was going to create a set of iViews using SAP GUI for HTML and point them to the relevent transactions. Next, I would like to create a form and embed some pushbuttons, the idea being that our end users use these pushbuttons which 'point' to the R/3 transactions as an alternaive to their SAP standard 'favourites' menu.
My question is this - how do I link the form pushbuttons to the R/3 transaction iviews that I have already defined? Also, do I need to embed them into a VC HTML view first?

Yes, I will advise an HTML view.
But keep in mind that HTML views can´t be used within nested iviews.

!3a Is a replacement for :

Here you have to replace XXX in TCode with your desired transaction
and if you want to parse a Dynamic Order Number from VC - this is the part for DynamicParameter (otherwise just skip that part. Hope that helps,

Hyperlink to a wordpress site

Hi, I'm working on an ebook for an author who has videos on her website that I would like readers to have the ability to click on a hyperlink in the ebook to watch the appropriate video on her site. I'm exporting to an interactive .pdf file.
The problem is that two different error messages come up from the hyperlinks in the .pdf file. One is:
This document is trying to connect to: file:///Users/...
If you trust this site, choose Allow. If you do not trust this site, choose Block.
When I select Allow, nothing happens.
The other error message is this: http://meganskinner.com/blog/%3Fpage_id%3D1053 which takes the reader to an error page.
The site that has the videos was created with wordpress. The developer sent 'alternative' urls to use, and also tried creating a separate page that is outside wordpress, and they all bring readers to the 2nd error message (that they're lost).
I checked, all the urls I'm trying work outside of the .pdf files created by InDesign.
Has anyone has these issues, and if so, what's the secret?

I tried creating a new document with a new hyperlink and it took me to that "you're lost" page. And the url showing up in the browser (Safari) is showing a different url...
The url I'm using to create a hypertext link is:

And the url showing up when I click on the hyperlink is:

What I also tried was exporting the document to html. Indeed InDesign is changing the url from the one I entered to the one that brings readers to the "you're lost page."
I can correct url using a text editor, but InDesign won't let me reopen the html file(!)... and when I export to .pdf using the text editor, I get a .pdf with a all the html tags...
Any ideas as to why InDesign is changing the url, and if there's no solution going that route, any ideas how to get the corrected html file back into InDesign?
I'm on OSX 10.8.2 using CS6.

How to download Flex SDK 4.5 ?

I am having trouble to download The Open Source Flex SDK 4.5 zip file from http://opensource.adobe.com/wiki/display/flexsdk/Download+Flex+4.5
The file is only 13.2MB instead of 63MB, and when I try to open it, the archive appears to be damaged.
Is there any other alternative url for downloading this SDK?

I'm facing a strange problem..
I've developed few reports. they are working fine in develop environment. after successfull testing they were published on web.
in web version, all reports are executing for first time.. if I change any of parameters values or without chaning also..
if I press "View Report" following error occurs..
An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted)
Query execution failed for data set 'dsMLGDB2Odbc'. (rsErrorExecutingCommand)

other for testers
in developers i created a report, then save like *.rdl and copy to testers machine, does not work there
the error what testers get is
Error during the local report processing.
Could not find a web-based application at http://developersMachine/AnalyticsReports/DataBaseConnector.rsds
and the solution is to use alternative url or in some cases http://localhost/

Itunes "invalid certificate" error message

when launching itunes I get an error message that a certain url has an invalid certificate. I've been to this website many times previously without a problem. I have subscribed to podcasts from it. it has a short alternative url too: cac.org But now, when this message appears, the spinning beachball appears and I can do nothing but force quit itunes. I've rebooted; no change.
