  • Unable to save the ALV layout variant and display of selection screen on F4

    Hi All,
The end user wants to directly select the layout variant (SLIS_VARI). I have used the following code to display the layout variant on selection screen. But, I am unable to save the variant on ALV. Whenever I am trying to select the layout variants (by doing F4 on selection screen) its displaying "No Layout found".
Following is the code for displaying layout variant:

I am not sure whats going wrong, but I am unable to save variants.
    Please help.
    Thanks,
    Vishal.

The F4 will display you the existing layouts only. So you need to save the layout first & then execute the report again & check if you are getting F4 values for that field.
The Layout needs to get stored with variant.

  • ALV Grid and return to selection screen

    Hello
I have an ALV Grid and when I push a buttom that I program appears another ALV Grid. In this second ALV I try to program different buttoms. When I program the BACK buttom I want to go to selection screen.
I try with CALL SELECTION SCREEN but when I stay in selection screen and push the execute buttom the ALV that I see is the second, not the first. It seems that we don't catch the news selections.
I put rs_selfied-refresh = 'X' after the CALL SELECTION SCREEN but is wrong again.
    What can I do????

  • How to add program documentation icon on selection screen

    Hi All,
Please let me know how to add  program documentation icon on selection screen.
    Thanks
    Jog

THis is pretty straight forward, in se38, enter program name, click change.  Now click Go To, Documentation.  Enter the documentation on this screen, save and activate, now run the program,  the icon will be there.

  • Validate plant and material on selection screen with select-options

    Hi all,
I want to validate plant and material on selection screen. More over I need to validate the combination of that also (i.e plant based materials). Individually I made the validations, but combination I didn’t get it.
For your information both are select-options, please reply me if you have an idea. The table to get the relationship is KEKO. <b>I have the below code for parameters, but I require code for select options.</b>
SELECT MATNR WERKS FROM KEKO UP TO 1 ROWS

    Thanks in Advance,

    Raghu,
You can't validate on select-options, MARC will have N to 1 relation between Material and plant.
You can do one thing, keep material as select-option and plant as parameter, now you can validate the materials on plant level.
    Reward if this helps,
    Satish

  • Problem with ALV and user defined selection screen. please help!

    Hi Experts,
I have program which has a user defined selection screen 9001. On executing the selection screen i call a ALV using resuse_alv_grid function module.
What problem I am facing is that when I press back button from ALV page it goes to the se38 editor instead of selection screen.
    How to resolve this?
    Thanks
    Gopal

    Hi,
This might be due to LEAVE TO TRANSACTION statement. You might be running the program from SE38. Try to run the program using Z-TCode assigned to it.
    Thanks and Regards,

Click on the text in the menu so that you see the bounding box around it. Look to the right of the Movie Menu customization workspace, Adjustments Palette, Text and edit your text font style and size.
In this screenshot, "Glass Flowers" text in the main menu is selected and its Adjustments Palette Text editing opportunities are shown. To do comparable editing in the scene menu, click on the scene menu in the bin to bring its image up to the screen.

    Hi Anushka,
If i got it right you require to create custom selection screen look alike in your module pool.
So for this you need to call your selection screen inside your module pool.

  • Displaying alv as output on the same selection screen

    Hi Gurus,
Happy new Year!! .I have got a requirement in which I have to pass three fields i.e. Matnr (as range) , Storage location (as Range) and Plant (as Parameter). The result is to display these three fields and the storage Bin display mode only and an additional field where the user will enter the new storage bin number (input mode). I have to display these fields on the selection screen itself and when the user enters the new storage bin location and press the save button, the program is suppose to update the database using the call transaction method.
Can any one suggest how could i take initaitive to display the output alv on the selection screen.
Is it possible to dispaly these values on the selection screen itself  ?
Your suggestions are of great value and importance to me.
    Thanking you,
    Furquan.

    HI,
Just write ur ALV code under AT SELECTION-SCREEN statement.
It will automatically display ur ALV on the same screen.

    Kusuma.

  • Icon at selection screen

    Hi All,
how i can add icon on the menu bar of selection screen and it should work as user command.

    Hi Sandeep,
Please refer to the below help link:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_47x200/helpdata/en/9f/dba80935c111d1829f0000e829fbfe/frameset.htm
If you want to make it more complex (with icon):then using transaction SE41
Copy the PFSTATUS %_00 of program RSSYSTDB to PFSTATUS Z_00 and your program.
Then modify the PF status as you desire.
    In your program:
    AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUTPUT.
    SET PF-STATUS 'Z_00'
Sorry forgot to add - then at
    AT SELECTION-SCREEN.
    event you can do
CASE SY-UCOMM. WHEN '<your_fcode>'. Do something ....  ENDCASE.
    Cheers,
    Adi

  • ALV using chekbox and icon

    1)  Needs to create two icons for a row in ALV.
With One Icon, she should be able to Edit a ROW. Other icon should support save option and should save the changes in the database table.
      How can we do this????
    2)  Needs to create a checkbox by creating a Field in the database table.
Each row in the table will have a checkbox in ALV.
If a checkbox is selected , that particular row should be selected in the ALV
